Park and zoo were really nice. Check out the info boards so you know when to go for feeding times. We went it was a cooler day. Animals were out and about. Staff was nice. Bathrooms at zoo office were super crowded, bathrooms in the park were less busy and cleaner. We had a great time. We got to feed the giraffes. Bring cash $5 a person in addition to entrance fee

An overall very nice park. The Roosevelt Park Zoo is right next door, and is always great fun for the kids. There are also tennis courts, a little train that goes around during the summer, a skate park, and a swimming pool.

Reasonably priced and nice small zoo with plenty to see and do. Do you like to feed animals..well you can feed sheep, goats, ducks and other animals at select times for a fee. I recently spent three hours and enjoyed every minute of it. Definitely a nice zoo to visit multiple times. Friendly staff, though they could be more informative. Will be going back again in the future.

Roosevelt park is a wonderful, family friendly place. They host wonderful events in the park, it is well maintained, is next to the zoo, and has such a nice flow to it. We enjoyed many of the events that this park puts on and visited frequently. The close by skate park and pool are also wonderful additions. We weren't able to ride the train, but my son fully appreciated the playgrounds within the park.

The Zoo is so awesome they continue to make everything better for the animals they made a cool Hamic for the Bears and are making new enclosures for the lions and tigers. It is a great place to donate to and go see they have season passes and they have a great little souvenirs shop where they sell toys and everything. They also have a snack shop where you can get drinks and popcorn as well as ice cream. Great place to spend a day with the family.

The zoo here is really a lot of fun. Plenty of variety and I can honestly say there is a little something for everyone, both young and old. Bit sad to see the size of the pens for the big cats though. Not much can be done about it unfortunately.

It's beautiful. The only suggestion I would make is to have more be aware of the possibility of rattlesnakes. Stay away. They have plenty of signs about bison being unpredictable. The wildlife was awesome.

Love this park! Multiple playgrounds for the kids to play and even set up for different ages! Dog friendly. And it also has several pavilion areas for any kind of event you could want to do from a simple picnic to a birthday party or even wedding! The grounds are kept up nicely as well. The walking path is smooth and great to jog or just take a stroll.

Great Zoo. Next year I want to come back and see the new Big Cat exhibit. The new baby giraffe was so cute. I loved the brown bear playingbin the water. The grey wolves were very active. The big cats were a bit lazy on a hot summer afternoon. The kids area and petting zoo was fun.

5 stars because there are a good number of attentive lifeguards so i dont have to spend as much time policing/worrying about the kids. Not where i would go with an adult group, great family environment.
