This was my second visit to the Norsk Hostfest. I had a fabulous time again. I attended via a tour bus this go round. I knew that the tour groups get the good hotel reservations and acquire the best seats in the Viking Hall for concerts. I was pleased to see that so many things are carried over from year to year, such as the location for vendors. It made it easier to find my favorite eats, such as rommegrot (sp?), viking on a stick and potato klubb(sp?). I enjoyed all the free entertainment the most. I recommend this event highly to everyone I tell about the wonderful and memorable time I had for the 40th anniversary 2017 event. I am so impressed with the rosemaled pin that is free to all attendees. It is so unbelievable how much planning and preparation it takes to put this event together and all the volunteers who come from all over to assist. Well done, Norsk Hostfest! I appreciate all you did to make this year another huge success! Mange tusinde takk for alt! (Norwegian for Many thousand thanks for everything!)
