This place has a great historical representation. The place is still structurally sound even to this day and being moved from it's original site. This place has the rooms walled of with plexiglass. The furniture that Teddy Roosevelt had used at the time are still there. A must see place when visiting the area.

The cabin is right next to the visitors center and while it isn't much on its own (TR was living a Spartan life in ND) it is worth a stop as you explore this park and all its natural beauty. It's cool to see the bits TR carved by hand, such as his cattle brand, the Maltese Cross, which can be found hand carved on the cabin.

Worth a stop if you're at the visitor's center. Provides some interesting facts and many items are from Roosevelt's time. If you go through the visitor's center it's a 20 foot walk from the back door and is a natural next stop.

Definitely worth seeing. This was Teddy Roosevelt’s cabin when he stayed in the badlands of North Dakota. They have several pieces of furniture, ect. that belonged to TR.

Ben Cedarberg

Fun to see the cabin TR had built for his first year in North Dakota. Worth doing the short Ranger guided tour of the cabin to learn more. Many period items and some that belonged to TR.
