This park is one of the very unique parks in North Dakota. not only is a stunningly beautiful, but it is wonderful for hiking, and particularly for horseback riding. There are both primitive and modern campsites available with electricity. There are relatively modern out houses. And the showers are absolutely wonderful. It's $0.50 for every 4 minutes. Whether you are attempting, or with a camper, this park should be on your list. The scenery is what we call savagely beautiful.

Quiet campground with beautiful setting on the bluffs overlooking the Little Missouri river. Showers are first rate, rest rooms are the pits. Designed for campers with horses, with several riding trails. Campsites have electric, with water and dump station available. Tent camping is permitted.

The directions to this place is totally incorrect. The marker is incorrect too. It takes you through private unpaved roads and natural gas rigs. Take route 22. Navigate to 47.546098,-102.734230

Seriously gorgeous! Camping facilities were great and the trails were extensive. You have to pay to shower however and only primitive toilets were available.

Scenic Nd state park. Wonderful scenery with trails. Most trails suited for horses. Stables available for horses. Must use weed free hay. Community showers and toilets available. Bring quarters for the showers. Rv or camping trailers suited for sites. Dump station available. Water and electricity available for rv's and campers. Tent camping works too.

I went there for a day hike with some friends. Place is awesome trails seemed pretty well maintained and the camp site look clean. There is a playground for kids and a basketball court. I never used the facilities but from the outside it seemed nice. I dont have horses but there seems to be a lot to do there with horses. Would visit again and beware of snakes

Been on the road for two weeks. This is the best campground we have stayed in on this trip. Remote, clean, great scenery, best shower rooms we have seen in the last couple of years. Caters to horse people but we fit right in.

Beautiful state park, with she great trails. It's ideally laid out for horse riding, but a few of the trails are suitable for hiking. The rangers are friendly. They also have a few Geocaching opportunities here!

Great state park, lots of trails for hiking and horse back riding. Some of the trails marked as easy are more moderate. Take more water than you think you'll need. The views are worth the hard work, amazing.

Little Missouri is a beautiful state park. We visited during the off season so most everything in the park was closed. Would love to go back to do some camping and hiking.

Beautiful topography, challenging terrain. Just hiked on May 4th 2019 in mid-to-high 30 degree temperatures and still had numerous ticks to remove from my body and clothing despite using tick repellent. I would not hike without using the Avenza phone app otherwise I would have had much more difficulty navigating getting back to my car.
