Close to interstate but noise wasn't an issue. Divided into a,b, & c camp areas. We stayed in b it was nice right next to the river but a little tight for backing in a larger 5th wheel. Avoid site 1 it is for a smaller camper but has a Slough right beside it. Someone had driven into that while backing their camper into the camp site.
Decent campground. Bathrooms are just okay. Staying in B is definitely better than A.
Nice clean park with bike rentals several playscapes
Nice walk, bike, drive through park in summer & fall seasons.
I would give this park a zero but since we can't, a one will have to do.. spaces very small and very uneven. It took us 4 blocks and still couldn't level. Never gave am apology just ignored us. Had to leave to find another park after a full day of driving. It was last thing we wanted to do but with no help from lindwood we left. Campers beware!
This is when it flooded but it was so fun
It was wonderful, we did a #mukbang #wingstop eating show , very nice , it is always great to go to the park and enjoy some food ... We always try to come here on a daily to enjoy the park and weather ☺
A very enjoyable overnight stop. Spent the next morning checking out the area.
Good park fir walking!
this park is the goat. nice kayak launcher, only annoying thing is getting gawked at by campers when im just trying to enjoy a nice little paddle in my kayak.
Clean and well taken care of. bottom is flooded so you must come back the wrong way on the one way.
Fishing! Peace and quiet. Friendly people.
We stayed at the RV park. Lower sites by the river are quiet, much less highway noise than upper spaces. Park has many trails for walking and riding bikes.
Went to the christmas lights show. Kids love to go through there. Just wish some of the people would put on a better show.
Two large playgrounds for the kiddos, several pavilions for gatherings, wooded grass lawns with plenty of shade, ball fields, bike paths (w/ rentals), river access. A little escape from the city without leaving its limits!
Great place for the whole family to enjoy
Been staying at the campground now for several years when passing through. Always been a nice experience.
In about 1 week you can go through the park and it will be all decorated for Christmas. They also have special price's for car loads. Children are really excited with the lights.
Absolutely beautiful!!! Nice place to take a walk with the family and dog!!!
Very wonderful and so nice to be there .
Beautiful park... only bad thing is freeway noise 24/7
Beautiful Military Memorial Park! Very well done!
My Lil Guy had a lot of Fun...
This park was very well landscaped and maintained, and they have multi-person bicycles for rent which is super romantic. My wife and I had a fantastic time walking through the park, cycling around, and enjoying the beautiful day.
Love this park. It is so beautiful
Liked the trail you could walk around it. Also a nice place for camping
We stopped here for a shaded place to eat lunch. It was perfect! Picking benches under trees right next to the playground. The playground is all inclusive so it has different swings and things to play on for children with disabilities. It's total fun for everyone! Even I climbed up and went down a slide with my kids. There are bathrooms close by and the flowers all over the park are gorgeous and vibrant! I just loved it!
LindenWood is an incredibly nice park and a cool place to hang around in, however, it usually becomes flooded once a year because of melting snow.
Nice sized park, fenced in playground for the kids, plenty of tables and maintained trash cans for our family to gather and eat together.
Best place I've been to play pogo. Such a nice clean and great park.
Clean, and close to town .. but the highway noise goes on all night long...
It was nicely maintained. No bugs. The portable toilet was on need of attention.
It's a beautiful park with camping
my kids love going here , so much to do, they love bike rentals
24 hr hot showers and well-managed and cleaned bathrooms.....2 scenic pathes you can drive on .. lots of green grass Pavilions and picnic tables... a gigantic outdoor jungle gym a must do if you have children..
The new playground by the baseball diamonds is awesome! Landscaping is beautiful. Overall a really nice, scenic park!
I come to this park because it has lovely old trees like where I'm originally from. Outside of that, it has excellent walking/biking paths, multiple playgrounds, and it's fun to walk over the bridge and be in another state. They have excellent facilities. I have attended a couple of bbqs and you will always walk by a party in the summer. There are also excellent groundskeeping. It's clean and full of flowers during the peak seasons. Bonus for bike rentals!
Great park! Has a couple parks and is along the river with a great walking trail. Multiple restrooms and baseball fields. Great for kite flying
Very nice park ..
Wonderful place to visit! The bike rental is definitely worth it!!
Nice place. Good area to walk around by the river. Will come again
Beautiful area. Well taken care of..(picture of 2019 red River during first Thaw)
Beautiful place to walk and have a picnic!!!
This park has pretty much everything! Trees, river, camping, park, lots of walking areas, bridge, fountain...
It was my first time to the park and I was quite pleased with what I saw. I wasn't there for long but I will definitely be returning to enjoy the sites, activities and trails.
A great venue for a family reunion, or other get together.
Pretty good place for a walk to get out of the city
Great running paths.
Love it but they are super particular about people parking in the grass.
A wonderful, expansive park. Connects to biking/walking trails in Gooseberry and Woodlawn parks. Woods, river view, and open fields, a great variety for any occasian.
Gorgeous park. Loved the walking paths near the river and the large open space in the center with plenty of trees for hammocks.
Best place for morning walks
Large park filled with many different outdoor activites. This is my daughters favorite park.
Great place to bring your children and family for relaxation
Beautiful place, go there once in a while to clear my head
This place is fantastic there are three large different playgrounds about the park, spacious campgrounds, a bridge to another large park across the river.
The Holiday lights were Spectacular this year. Many more displays and variety. Worth the wait. Listen to Christmas music on the radio as you enjoy this tradition with your family or friends.
My favorite park in Fargo. It's just so peaceful here. Great parking. Fun activities. BBQ grills. Picnic tables. Restrooms. Bicycle rentals. Canoe loading area on the river.
The park is very clean and has a children's play ground, camping site and picnic site. It's usually quite on weekdays but expect a lot of people during weekends and holidays. I love the camping site right next to the red River, it's very pleasant to spend the time there. It an absolute place to be with the nature without leaving the town. Highly recommend!
I love Lindenwood Park. It is beautiful and fun! They're just getting going for the Spring/Summer. They're dealing with the flooding of the Red River right now so only the first section of the park is open right now. Lots of people walking and picnicing.
Clean park, not crowded, big park area surrounds the red River. Great place to go for a walk, bike ride etc.
Very nice big playground that adults and kids can use together. Swings are too squeaky though and need some maintenance. Other than that good facilities around too.
Was very nice. Lot of people there and lot of fun for the kids! Peaceful and nice.
By far best park in Fargo area, not even close. I could go on all day about how many things you can do here but you have to come visit yourself. Cool tidbit, walk across the bridge over the river and your now in Minnesota
This is a beautiful park that has lots of opportunities to walk around and enjoy the river, nature, and various playgrounds. The first playground you come up to when driving into the park is absolutely fantastic. It's wheelchair accessible and has wheelchair access up onto the playground equipment. There are also two other playgrounds in the park that I know of! Great place to go and have fun!
What a fun place for kids to play. All children would love and enjoy this park, as it is handicapped accessible as well. My kids had a blast, but we had to cut out early when a group daycare of about 30 showed up. Just not enough space on top of the 30+ already there.
So peaceful. Luv the bench under the tree next to the walk by the river
Love it .its so pretty there.and nice.
Fun, relaxing, clean. I enjoy walks and bike rides here
This the park I went to as a kid. This is what I compare parks I go today. This is my park.
Beautiful, relaxing, lots of trees, picnic areas and great bike trails
Beautiful park, adaptive playground that's completely fenced! Ramadas, picnic tables. On the river and apparently you can rent pedal cars and bikes there too.
Very great park for Pokemon Go, wish it was open a little later though
Pretty Park with lots of flowers and a foot bridge to Minnesota. Nice campground, but noisy. Loop B is better and bigger.
Beautiful park and campground. Will stay here again.
Beautiful relaxing space and great kayaking on the RedRiver
Nice peaceful place to have lunch
Lindenwood is one if Fargo’s best gems! It has picnic areas (sheltered and un-sheltered) and is located along the Red River. It has long paved trails that connect from downtown to 17th ave South that go along the River. There is also a bridge you can cross to get into Moorhead. As an FYI if you plan to drive through the park the road turns into a one way by the playground area, so you’ll be committing to a 1/2 to 1 mile drive through the park.
Best place to take kids,go fishing, camping hiking very fun
River was very high and there was a flood watch, traffic noisy cause you're right by a very busy road, not great for tenting but would recommend for camper trailers etc. firewood kept outside and was too wet to light. Only stayed one night so not bad for a place sleep and move on. Playground was great but very busy, we prefer places with fewer people.
This is a great place to camp, have family picnics, take a nature walk, or just relax. There is a fun playground for the kids as well as bike rentals.
I've lived in Fargo for 3 years and I didn't realize how beautiful this park is. My dog and I went for a long walk and we had a blast looking at all of the flowers planted.
This is an older park in Fargo and I have lot's of found memories of the the place. Overall they have camping here and it's the only park in town that allows it. The pavilions are usually well kept and water proof, so great for an outdoor picnic or other celebration.
Great park for family get togethers. Great playground for the kiddos. If your looking for good ole fashion outdoors great place to go!
Would have given 5 stars if not for the freeway noise and dump station angled UPHILL..ugh
I loved walking threw the park it was relaxing
Water fountain is kinda disgusting, but fun for the kids
Full of Nature! No highway noise! Wild animals running by! Camp sights! Views! Perfect place to walk and bike!
I'm very dissapointed at the fact that I have to put a one star for this review but I have to say that the lack of professionalism my family received today from a staff member was so disgusting and cruel that i have no other choice. I'm speaking about a staff member named JODIE. She claims that she came up to us to let us know that our dog has to be put on a leash but we did not hear her at all. She was so far away from us first of all and second, it's very windy today and its hard to hear anyone if they're not right in front of you. The second time she came around was in a complete unprofessional manner. Yelled at my family in front of my child, screaming & harassing us & claiming that if in ten minutes we were still at the park, the cops will come. funny though, after speaking to a very kind officer, we got all our stuff, got on our car and as we drove to the exit, we see another family (Caucasian) playing with their dog that was without a leash on NO PROBLEM THERE! but us, the brown people, got a very angry Caucasian woman that nearly almost attacked us because of our dog not being on a leash. SMH! I'm not angry though, JODIE is obviously a very sad, unhappy human so I will not hold a grudge against her. It will be nice though if LINDEWOOD PARK TRAINED THEIR STAFF A LITTLE BETTER. THANK YOU FOR READING.
My family and I just went to the holiday lights at Lindenwood for the first time and I must say I was very impressed! Such beautiful light displays!!! Spacious park as well.
The drawbridge was up due to the river. But thats nature for you(not a complaint). Other than that the kids had fun
A pretty drive through the park.
Beautiful with lots of room and walking spaces.
I really like it! Campground A spaces are very small compared to state parks, but I've seen much worse. I think the other campgrounds would be better. The park has nice hiking and biking trails, and lots of places to play and picnic.
The restaurant was clean, the wait staff was great. If the steak was cooked correctly, it would have been perfect. Ordered med. rare and received med. well.
It doesn't feel like Fargo. That's a huge bonus for me.
Perfect for family get togethers. Clean and beautiful.
Love this place, nice bike and walking paths. Beautiful scenery in the Heart of Fargo.
Great location! The bathroom were super nice and there was a great park. The power didnt work for us which was unfortunate but other than that things were great
Nice playground. Variety of things to do.
I really enjoy riding bike and running in the Lindenwood Park. Nothing negative here.
Great place to walk on a blacktop paved trail
Great for the kids!!! Fenced in play area was awesome!!!
Wide variety of things to do and enjoy - baseball fields, lush lawn spaces, camping and fishing on the Red River, covered picnic/party places and lots of trees, squirrels and even a bat house or two! My favorite thing to do on my way home from work is to slowly drive the road all the way around the park and decompress before getting home. Be aware, they work on it every year, but the last part of the road tends to have potholes galore. Take it slow and watch carefully - your car will appreciate it.
Clean park, the kids had fun.
Beautiful scenery. The trails are well kept. The bike rental is also fun!
Don't camp in A loop. It's packed SO tight. And it's right next to the interstate.
Nice scenic tour, no pull throughs.
Great place to take the kids for a family outing
Very nice park with playgrounds for the kids, grilling areas with plenty of open space to play catch, allows dogs, has a bike trail, just overall a great place.
I really like this park. I love how they out American Flags along Roger Maris
Something for everyone. Great place to host gatherings!
Great place, everyone should check it out
There was a picnic at the main shelter. My mother was invited by the hosting company. She is 90 and uses a walker. There was no handicap parking near the shelter and I think the parking could be configured better to accommodate these big group events.
Clean and a great place to relax, do yoga and even hiking.
Great RV spots on the Red!
Beautiful area with access to the river and walking trails. Free parking and rentable event areas.
Loved the scenery and cleanliness of the surrounding.
