This place is awesome! HUGE facility absolutely filled to the brim with fun activities. Definitely worth the 6+ hour drive. The facility is clean and beautiful. The staff is super helpful and nice. The Rock climbing is good and the rope courses are pretty sweet. The deep water soloing is where it's at though. With walls up to 45 feet, it'll give you some thrills. The aqua rock annual deep water competition is a blast too. Well organized and efficiently executed. Definitely recommend this place.

Logan Stelly

Lots of very exciting and fun activities! Rafting, Mountain Biking, Climbing, Ziplines, and many High Ropes courses. Plus a long list of craft beers available on tap made for a very fun day. Well worth checking out if you are in the area and have a day to spend.

Ahmad Ayub

Pretty cool place! Never been here before. All the staff was very helpful. I like the amount of activities you can do with a day pass, but probably worth coming for two days to make sure you hit everything. We didn’t stay for all of the 4th of July festivities, but we saw some of the live music and it was pretty good (and you didn’t need to pay for an entrance pass to see it!). Would come again.

Jennifer Tisdale

A destination packed with fun, adventure, and good food! We love coming here and enjoying the sights! You can attend for free, but if you want to participate in the events such as white water rafting and zipline, you will have to get a pass. Enjoy this great, refreshing get-a-way spot!

alison foster

White water rafting was outstanding! one of the downfalls is that the instruction time consumes too much time. It needs to be condensed because each adventure requires another set of instructions. The zip line was like standing on a line at Disney -over an hour for a 12 minute trip on the zip line. my other suggestion is that not all of us can do the adventures due to medical conditions and it would have been nice to have some sort of wave pool or lazy pool that would have helped cool me down. There aren't many areas to sit that we're shaded...

George Rainone

Went for a concert. Courtney Linn and Quinn were great. Can't wait to go back and try some ziplineing.

Robert Hillow

Exceptionally mediocre facility with questionable cleanliness and history of brain eating amoeba deaths. It is more of an amusement park than actual athletic training facility, which makes sense given the USA won ZERO of the 49 rafting medals in Rio at the Olympic games.

T Wright

Fun, fun, fun. The white water rafting was great and well worth the money. Add in zip lining, rope climbing, bike trails, kayaks and everything else there, you can't go wrong visiting this place. The food and service at the restaurant on site was extremely nice also.

Virginia Lord

Great time. Friendly workers. Lots to do. I would give 5 stars if the eating area would restrict dogs. Unfortunately, the tables were full of dog hair and when you look on the floor, hair everywhere. So next time we'll eat before coming.

Jasmine Lin

Really beautiful place and we loved our time here! It was a relaxing time out canoeing/paddleboarding and exhilarating to go white water rafting. We got awesome guides for whitewater rafting and everyone else is so helpful and amazing! The rope courses were fun as well and so was the zip lining. Also fun to try Deep Water Solo like the obstacle from million dollar mile! Great place for a family vacation.

crystal cooper

Great experience! Get there early! I felt very safe the entire time, what a great way to have fun on the water! Great restaurant, great views. Concerts! I wish there were more covered seating areas to watch people in the rafting areas.

Sean Colas

Grabbed a day pass with my 9 year old and we did it all. Mostly. Went zip lining, climbing, paddle boarding, the ropes course, and rafting. Calen, our river guide, was awesome. Even though we went on the more family friendly route, he made it fun for us and another family of 4. We have been on “the river” about 4 other times, and this was our best ride yet. Very friendly, and had a good handle on the most fun parts of the river.

Jeselyn Rosario

Took the zip line tour. I had great guides and I enjoyed the zip lines so the tour was awesome. Looking into getting a season pass. This place is awesome!

Khushboo Maheshwari

Lots of outdoor activities for adults. Figure 8 zipline was fun with additional rope courses and bridges. Reservation for rafting did help on labor day weekend. Long wait times if you're going on a busy holiday weekend.

Jared Olivier

Had a wonderful experience yesterday with tour guide Colin. He made sure my group was comfortable and had a great time. Highly recommend him for when you go and hope to have him again next time.

Robert Reppe

Great rafting and great challenge course. Unfortunately it was too busy when we were there and we only got to do 3 things. Management of crowds could be better.

Jarod Stevenson

So. Much. Fun. There are so many things to do here, hard to fit in all in one day! Will definitely go back. You have to try the deep water solo. Best activity by far!

frank felicelli

recommend going there during the week because the weekends be can be quite crowded. had a great time but the lines! And it starts at the ticket counter... the nicest kid but he had to spend several minutes with each customer meanwhile we're all standing in the sun waiting and wondering when the story time would end

Patrick Zabinski

Fantastic place for people of many ages. Lots of activities. Fun to even come here and just watch. You cannot do the Whitewater kayaking without your own kayak and certified training.

Scott Snuffer

Absolutely amazing time. There are many restaurants within the park. The entire area is very clean and well ran, everyone is friendly and professional. Activities range from rock walls to ziplines and canopy tours, obstacle courses, white water rafting (our favorite), kayaking, paddle boarding and lots more! Nick was our rafting guide and he was awesome. Super friendly, high energy, well trained, he made sure we all had a great time while keeping us safe and entertaining us all the way. Would highly recommend this place and Nick and we will definitely be there again!

Alex Rod.

I love this place one of my favorite places in charlotte North Carolina. The outdoor experience is an amazing experience. Bikes trails, water rafting, kayak they have it all. The food is also great, they have many different local beer on draft which is great. They also have live music thursday Nights A whole day event worth it with the family or friends. Take care ♡

Connie Walter

My boys really enjoyed rock climbing and white water rafting! I took advantage of the 9:30am yoga; it felt great! I would like to have done more, but I was in charge of my 93 year old mother who was with us. Im so grateful to have located the elevator!

M Drose

Awesome place to visit for anyone looking for a full day of outdoor fun. I did almost talk the activities and I had the most fun on the rock wall and mountain bike trails.

Brian Lane

Awesome place. Not really for kids younger than 8. Would give 5 stars if there were a splash pad or shaded playground area for the younger kids to play while us older kids explored. It was too hot for the little ones to not be able to get anywhere even near water. Highly recommend for anyone over 8 that likes adventure.

Lauren Piscatelli

Always a wonderful day if I get to spend it here. The facilities are always clean, the staff is always friendly, and all the events are well-run. The food and drinks are overpriced but other than that, it's great!

Jasmin C

Lots of fun and it's a great price for all the things you're able to do. The instructors for the white water rafting and fun and informative. Definitely want to go back and check out their other events!!

Nicole Offenheiser

Such a cool place in the Charlotte area with so many activities offered. Yoga, rock climbing, zip lining, so many water activity and much more. A great shop and multiple little breweries are also on site. Grab a refreshing beer or cider after some activities abd watch all the excitement all around.

Brent Fidler

Absolutely unique. Great time rafting. Bike trails are fairly challenging and I haven't tried the zip line but it looks like a blast. I went recently to see some free live music which was a great time. The food and beers are expensive but the atmosphere and list of things to do is well worth it. This is a great place to bring your family for a weekend or weekday for a boatload of fun.

Miranda Mansfield

I greatly enjoyed my time here! Everyone who works here has wonderful hospitality and makes sure your visit is enjoyable. We did Zip Lining and White Water Rafting. We bought day pass tickets and reserved our rafting time. I highly recommend reserving a time as they go fast on the weekends. They also have a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, and a fast food/Beer restaurant that is outside seating only. About 25 beers on tap I believe and all original, but very tasty! Parking is cheap and the center is free entry if you just wanna enjoy the views! I will be back for some of those live music nights. This place has a lot to offer at some really decent prices!

William Seeley

The USNWC is great fun with lots of activities to choose from. Mountain biking, ropes course, rock climbing, rafting, flat water paddling, zip lines, hiking, and whitewater kayaking are some of the activities that can be done here. For most of the activities all the gear is provided. The camps, classes, clinics, live music weekly/monthly events are almost always well attended. Some are basically free, pay for parking and admittance is free. The prices are a tad high for the food and beverages served, and be careful if you bring your own the cooler police will kick you out. The whitewater courses are clean, clear and and inviting now, where previously was murky and full of gravy. This is definitely a place to checkout!

Josh Brown

Great energy. Fun activities. Good easy through semi hard bike trails. Food is tasty. Free yoga. Free concerts on Thursday. What more could you want?

Derik Screen

Fun for the entire family here. The all day pass is the way to go unless you specifically only want one activity. Kids had fun and plenty to do if they aren't scared of heights or the water. Do the canoeing it's a little hidden. Be sure to go first thing in the morning if you plan to attend peak season. It gets packed! Please dress accordingly Wear comfortable shoes, layered clothes and be ready to get wet! Pack lunches and drinks to skip. Also be sure to buy tickets online we waited in the heat for 30 minutes just to get tickets. Parking is extra also.

Daniel E

There were not very many people there and the lines for zip lining were very slow despite being so short. Was there for 3+ hours and had time to do one ziplining course and the free fall. It was fun but not worth $60 plus parking. They need a half day pass for ~$40. Would not recommend unless you plan to spend an entire day here and do more activities. Service was friendly and park very clean.

Andre Parnther

Great family entertainment. Lots of outdoor activities. Hiking, biking, rafting, Zipline, ropes course, rock wall. With the added bonus of great beer, food and live performances! Dogs welcome! A great value for the entire day.

Jaysen Gardner

I had lots of fun here. I am not normally a water person but the ability to just jump into something like kayaking was incredibly fun. The worst part of the entire trip was me going over into the water but that was also the most fun part.

Kathryne Garrido

Fantastic environment for anything that has to do with outdoor activities. Great and convenient restaurant service as well. Can easily spend the whole day here. From Whitewater rafting, to yoga in the forest, they have something for everyone.

Anisha Asad

Very fun place for kids!! They have zip lines, rope courses, white water rafting, rock climbing, bike trails, and much more all for a very good price! Although it was really fun, it was dangerous. There was people flying off the rafts which was pretty scary, however the employees and guides were very helpful and ensured as much safety and precautions as possible. I recommend attending this center but just be careful!

Lisa M Clark

It was the best time I have had since moving to North Carolina... It is so laid back and safe.. I feel incredibly safe there even while my husband is not with me. Everyone is professional and so much fun.. the white water rafting was incredible.. The double down zip line, while initially quite terrifying, was amazing. I can't wait to go back.

George Cabasug

Great place to try white water rafting if you have never done it before. They are very safety concious and take every precaution to keep people safe while having fun. It's very nice that they let people walk around the facility without having to pay for admission. They only charge $59 for a day pass if you want to do any of the activities, and you will want to. The white water rafting is better than any amusement park ride and you get to do it for an hour. We went during the week when it's not so crowded.

Vlad Loenko

UNBELIEVABLE FUN IN SUN! Wish I lived closer because I’d be here every weekend. The crew here was incredible- knowledgeable, patient, kind, friendly, and overall extremely fun. The lovely lady (Kira) who helped me buy a day pass spent an extra 5 minutes going over EVERY detail of the park, all the available activities, where to get sunblock (since I was unprepared and from out of town) and even recommended what zip lines to take to maximize the day. Only downside was the number of people on the ropes course - I wish I had more time to do the free fall and ropes challenges! Rock climbing and the deep water solo we’re amazing. Mountain biking was surreal - PLEASE NOTE- INTERMEDIATE LEVEL MEANS SKILLS REQUIRED! Could easily spend the whole weekend here with the entire family. Cheers to the next time and looking forward to coming back next year!

Janna Venti

This place is awesome. I had an all activities pass and it was definitely worth the price. I felt very safe and clear with the instructions given to me. I’m not a very adventurous person but especially after the river obstacle course, I feel like a strong independent woman now. Definitely will be back more often.

Thomas Olik

Great way to spend a day in Charlotte. Guest Services really helpful - Jackie was great in addressing a raft reservation issue.

Brett Duncan

This place is fabulous! The mountain bike trail system is second to none, however, they're very poorly marked. The trails are directional and it's very easy to end up riding in the wrong direction and the signs that they do have offer zero help if you end up doing so. With the money this place generates, I'd like to see more "wrong way" signs accompanied with "trail this way" signs to make it more navigable. That said, I love riding the WWC and will continue to do so as long as I live in the Charlotte area.

Genny Salas

We had a blast. The price for the all activities pass is well worth it. Come & plan to spend the day. The whitewater center has all amenities and if you forgot anything it's available to rent. Every staff member honestly was delightful to speak to and it was very clean. On a late summer Saturday there lines but I never felt we wasted too much time in them. Totally recommend to any one looking to have a great time and at activities for every skill/experience level. Loved it and will be returning.

Avo Laido

A wonderful place for outdoor activities. Great mountian bike trails! It gets busy here

Colleen LaRock

Very "physically active" place. We went for the music today, didn't do activities this time because we had a two year old boy with us. The music could be heard throughout the center. It was clean and well organized. We were in front of the white water river, could see the stage and watch ziplines. People had their dogs on leashes. There were rocks for child to climb on, we walked some and watched rafts and kayaks in the rapids. We've done the rapids on other visits. It's fun and they are very safety conscious. Lots of trails for bikes and a variety of rock climbing.

Micki Geffert

This place is more than you could ever expect. Super friendly staff who are willing to lend a hand. You could easily spend 2 days here. It is almost impossible to do everything in one day. Overall a fantastic and wonderful experience. Whitewater rafting was the best!!

Donny Kupina

This place has a lot to offer for all ages. Do remember this is an adventure park not a theme park. There are no rides at this park. Rafting is a dangerous sport along with the other things to do at the park.

Vu Nguyen

This is an awesome outdoor adventures park. We've been coming here since it first open. My kids love all of the activities. There are tons of mountain biking and hiking trails. White water for rafting or kayaking. High ropes and low ropes with canopy rope bridges. Team building. Rock climbing, zip lines, and drop towers. They also have classes. Excellent restaurants with music performances regularly. A lot of people just simply come in the evening to walk or run the loop with their pets. Handicapped accessible bathrooms and facilities. Highly recommend.

Purita Fossas

Worth the drive to get here, lots of activities, this place is amaizing and if you like water rafting you are in the right place, food is delish, is an all day event for families, friends to have an enjoyable day. You will be glad you did. Have a Blessed Day

Matthew Baker

This was my first time at the white water center. And let me tell you I had an absolute blast. The park is clean, well maintained, and run by staff that are just a pleasure to be around. The staff makes sure you are 100% aware of what is going on and you aren't ever guessing if your safety is questioned I will be going back

Jerry Farmer

Wish we had more time here. We only had the opportunity to walk through the park. We definitely want to come back and spend a day trying out all the park has to offer. Maybe s couple of days!

Monica Smith

The park has a lot of stuff to do. However, the price of the park is crazy expensive. You pay 60.00 per person to get it, we paid an extra 5.00 per person (40.00) for a reservation of whitewater rafting, show rental, bin rental and the list goes on. Before you know it wh had spent almost 300.00 for 4 people. My real issue with the park is there was a lack of concern for my boyfriend that had gotten hurt whitewater rafting. Employees could see blood dripping from his leg, but offered no first aid whatsoever. I went to several places to get ice before leaving to take him to the emergency room. My other concern is the amount of rafts they send down at a time for whitewater rafting. We were actually hit by another boat causing everyone to come out of the raft. More rafts are coming down cause myself and my boyfriend to be ran over by another boat. There should be more people working to give aid to people in the water and less rafts going through at a time. 300.00 spent and only did whitewater rafting and off to the hospital. No one offered a rain check, I’m sorry hope you feel better it nothing.

Tommy Dennis

So much to do for a reasonable price. This is a great place. The only thing was spending over 2 hours to do the Zipline.

Christian Carey

Free to go and see (just a $6 daily parking fee) $60 for a daily pass and $129 for a 2 day pass. Annually you only pay $220 as a one time fee to use all of what the facility has to offer. Beyond worth it at any price.

Jared Houck

This was our second visit to the Whitewater Center and it was another fantastic experience. There is so much to do for all ages - we had ages 6 to 65 in our group and everyone enjoyed several activities. I must also share how kind, courteous and conversational the staff at the Center are. Their customer service is second to none. On this visit, we also eat lunch at the on site restaurant and the food was fresh and unique. I would hight recommend this Center and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

Trevor Powhida

I guess it's a pretty cool premise, I just wasn't impressed by it. May have had higher expectations due to all the talk around the facility in Charlotte. If you enjoy outdoor activities that you can't typically do on a weekend, like white water rafting or zip lining give it a shot. You may enjoy it. I prefer my nature to be more "natural"

Sally Greathouse

Great adventure for most ages! Only thing I'd add is a splash area for the smaller guests that can't partake in the bigger adventures. My 35lb kid had a fun time on the obstacle courses but it was so hot! And the beautiful cool water looked so tempting, I was a little worried she'd jump in when I wasn't looking!

Angela Jowers

Awesome day climbing, zipping & being outside with my 13 year old son. We especially enjoyed the climbing wall that plunged into the pool

Joshua Burrell

A fantastic piece of Charlotte life. You can hike, mountain bike, white water raft and even participate in flat water sports. If none of that strikes your fancy, you can just grab a beer and watch as people wipe out going down the rapids!

Carmen Gray

Sitting on the bank where the rush of the water is cool and refreshing on this very warm summer evening. Listening to a jazz band from New Orleans and sipping a cold craft beer after a walk down to the river.

Scott Whitman

First time back in 5 years. New climbing wall, great food, lots to do with the whole family. Dogs had fun too.

Blake Johnson

Great deal if you can get there on a day with low crowds. When going up for the falcon dive, waited in line for an hour. I couldn't imagine then doing the zip line and waiting another hour. I've been there on a day with no crowds and no lines at all and was able to experience everything as well as a nice paddle down the river in the matter of half a day.

Andreas Willis

Spent the day there, but didn’t get there till nearly midday. Booked day pass online. Went kayaking, lovely, adventure white water rafting, absolutely superb, but of food which was good, mountain biking, rock wall climbing and ran out of time for zip lining. Go early, it was the best day of my vacation especially the rafting. Prepare to get wet, to smile, giggle and scream all in the same moment.

mike wester

Amazing place that's totally worth the $200 yearly pass if you live in the area. Be sure to get here early in the day/morning to make the most of your experience. Whitewater rafting was a blast (make sure you make a reservation) and ziplining was fun even though the wait was almost 2 hours. Food and beer is very well priced. Parking is $6.

Kathleen Millette

It was so much fun. Went as part of a work function- "team building". And we all had a great time. The rafting was great

Alice Byrd

First visit and I was blown away by the expanse of the park, the variety of activities and restaurants, the professionalism of the staff, and the Whitewater experience itself. We took the adventure raft trip, which was perfect. Not as benign as the family option and not as harrowing as the Rodeo trip. Would absolutely go again.

Mike Adams

Very fun. We spent most of the day playing. So many different outdoor activities all within close proximity to the main facility. Staff was very nice and safety focused. Fun for the whole family and much more than I anticipated.

John Perverseff

Visiting from Canada and was taken here by friends. This facility provides it all. Great for families, a couple or on your own. Highly recommend, wish we had more time to experience. Will definitely come back!!!

Justin Krebs

An amazing place for everything outdoors. Plus you can have some good food and craft beer while listening to some good bands

Bart McPeak

The place is much more than a man-made whitewater river rafting adventure. Of course that is the highlight and you should plan your day around the reservations you make for the rafting or kayaking. The All day pass is best because all you have to do is two separate things and you save money on buying them individually. Most people will want the higher class rapids. However if you ride the family rapids, your guide may offer you to do the bigger Rapids after you build your confidence. Plan to spend the day. Save money, bring a cooler with food. You cannot bring it in but you can go to your car for lunch. Bring sun protection.

Thad Gantt

I am so proud to have this facility here in Mecklenburg County. We go here very often, there is something for everyone- good food, cold beer, live music, bike trails, hiking trails, ropes courses, obstacle courses, zip lines, and oh yeah, whitewater rafting and kayaking. It is amazing, check it out, you won't be sorry you did.

Heidi Evans

I walked up, looked over the edge and thought, "This is like heaven." There were people whitewater rafting, and rock climbing and zip lining over your head and amazing dogs EVERYWHERE and folks sauntering around with microbrews. So so so fun. Wish I had a whole day to spend.

Ash m

I had a blast at this place. If you're on the heavier side, ~250 lb I would call to see which adventures you can do. There are Max weight limits on many adventures and a couple of my friends couldnt join in on the fun for the tight rope, ropes course, and rock climbing wall.

Brian Schatteman

Great rafting experience even on a man-made course. Zip lining and ropes courses round out the experience. I highly suggest buying the all inclusive pass.

Bridget Trapp

The place itself is pretty awesome. The wait times for everything is incredibly long though. Maybe if they limited the amount of people that could come in at once it would be better.

Michael Arevalo

This place is simply amazing. I’ve never seen anything quite like it. The first day going there my wife and I enjoyed all their activities. It was our first time doing white water rafting and it could not have been any more fun. They explain everything and make sure you are safe so don’t worry about anything. Rock climbing on the pool was a lot of fun also. The zip lining was also amazing. We had a ton of fun. The entry fee was a little high but totally worth it. The other times we went to the center was for their free (just pay for parking) weekend concerts at night and we loved it.

Lisa Alley

I have absolutely fallen in love with This place, after living in NC since 2010 , I only wish I would have gone sooner. My boyfriend and I enjoy the trails we bike on and even take a stroll some evenings with the dog. So much beauty to enjoy and lots of activities to do to get in or stay in shape. The staff is Wonderful also, very helpful and polite. I also would like to add , The staff takes a lot of Pride in keeping the grounds and everything else Very Clean.

Ryan Foster

So much to do here, you can easily spend the whole day. Stuff to do for all ages. I recommend the adventure rafting and the zip lines.

MPtrooper

Why do you keep selling tickets when this place is full???? We have been in line for 2.5 hours (and counting) for zip lining. The line is now at least 3 hours. Stop selling tickets!!!! Not cool!! It’s just greedy!!! The park is beautiful but paying $118 to stand in line sucks!!

william mccoy

Great time! Riding the rapids in the raft was fun for a beginner (wife and I). Its a controlled environment but other rafters did somehow fall out. Hiking to the top for the zip line and rope course were tough. If I did it again I'd skip the rope course. We missed the paddle boarding because we didnt know they stopped at 4pm. All in all it was a good experience.

Stephen Tetschner

What can't you do here? River jam is awesome. Hiking is fun. Kayaking is the best. So many options. Must see for locals and visitors alike.

David Kern

Amazing place with outdoor activities suitable for anyone from works class kayakers to young children. Great concerts and other evening activities.

Bryant Harrison

What a superb place to spend time. Food, craft beer, outdoor activity, and cool people who like all these same things. I highly recommend this magical place

Tom Twitchel

Great Park, Variety and Setting! With an abundance of activities to choose from, food facilities with many choices, this outdoor adventure experience is a great time. Rock climbing, paddle boating, kayak, rafting, hiking and mountain biking, not to mention zip lines (huge ones). Highly recommend.

I L

Place was fun. You will have some wait times, but it we had a blast.

Mark Franz

There is just simply too much to write about this place. If you like adventure and out door activities go here... it is honestly life changing. The only thing that stinks is the price tag for a day trip and concessions. If you get a season pass this place is great way to spend every waking moment of free time you have.

Jennifer Hupko

We were a group of 12 from Myrtle Beach and we had a great time! We were able to experience many of the activities & our group sales coordinator Jordan was the best! We will definitely be back!!

Andy Jones

White water down the two courses was amazing. Was a nice leisurely stroll down the first channel. The competition channel on the other hand was adrenaline building and a huge amount of fun. Zip lines all over the place and ropes courses of every skill level are also available. Quality food and drink are also available at both quick service stops and a full service restaurant. A definite can't miss if your into the outdoors.

Key Hatch

Incredible place to explore. The fees are well worth it, and if you're a local and enjoy outdoor sports/activities, I would highly recommend the 365 day membership.

Scott Couch

What a fantastic adventure with family and friends. Came in from Florida and wasn't expecting the fall festival this weekend, but it made the experience that much better. The facilities are so clean and well kept. We all commented on how well people cleaned up after themselves and others. The park staff were courteous and always present. Even though it was a packed house for the "make your own boat" event, everyone was pleasant. They have a little something for everyone...and we saw ages 2-60+ enjoying different activities. Heard great things about the food, but with the crowds we were unable to sit down to eat...just grabbed something from the "market place" and found a nearby bench. Overall it was fantastic and we will certainly return..... Bonus!! The whole place is DOG FREINDLY...which we love.

Donna Miller

This was a very fun and adventurous experience. We had a great guide, Brandon for rafting. He showed expertise, very high level of experience and kept our group of 5 entertained. The whitewater is a great place for rafting, ziplining which we also did. Wall climbing. Live music, food is good. Great atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone. Staff is all very nice and helpful.

John Pamperin

Had a great time with my son. Lots of activities to so, we spend 7 hours here and maybe did a third of the possible activities. Came on a weekday during the summer and there were practically no lines to do the activities. A very well run place that we'll be sure to come back!

Michael Tippie

Great time!!! Only thing to suggest that they have cabanas or small cabins to rent. Everything was very well priced not like at amusement parks and our whitewater instructor/guide Joe was great!!! We will definitely be coming back!!!

Nick C

Wonderful experience to just walk around this natural feeling adventure park with all the amenities. Spend the $60 to do all the full experience and you are rewarded with some really fun and friendly rafting guides to bring the juice to your trip! Winner winner!

Sunni Howell

Somewhere to hang out around Gaston countyhabe a drink with some friends, live music, awesome food, and best of all your outside!!!! And everyone is talking and hanging out and not on their phones. Seen some people have one too many but I have never seen any confrontations. Everyone is there to have a good time..

Ryan Bunts

Amazing place to get out and be active. If you're local, the season pass is a must. $200 flat gets you access to everything for a year. Kayaking in the Catawba river, rock climbing, mountain biking, and rafting every single time is well worth it. The events they have are great, beers are priced way better than you'd expect, and they have a pretty good selection. One of my favorite parts about living in Charlotte.

KB R

So much to do here! Live music, laid back atmosphere on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Great selection of beer! Rafting, zip lines, hiking, climbing.... you'll have a great experience even if you just go to hang out and people watch! Pay $6 for parking and activities are priced as a package or individually. Fun place to take friends from out of town. One of a kind place!

Patti Robertson

Zip lining 3 levels, rock climbing walls, kayaking on the Catawba river. Biking walking trails. White water rafting with guides that promote fun yet safety. So much to do young as in 10 years to people over 60. Food was very good. Many craft beer, standard beer, sodas and sweet tea. I'll sleep good tonight. They also have live music in the evening.

Adrian Zeck

Had a great first visit here even with a rained out middle of the day. Our guides were awesome! Joey, Jeremy, Connor and Jessi(e?) were great on the white water. Benji and everyone on the ropes course were super supportive and helpful! Would definitely come back because the staff was so good.

Sha'Coya Zimmerman

It's wide open space to enjoy outside fun paid parking but affordable for the time spent there. If you think is not for small children your mistaken you absolutely can take your stroller out there and let your small children ride bikes or play on the mini climbing rocks

A very fun place that I'll happily visit again! That said, be aware that the lockers are gendered and cost $2 to use them once (one shut and one opening), so if you need to get into your belongings at all, it might be better to get a storage bin...

Bryan Heatherington

Fun as can be. I went white water rafting with my lady and neither of us fell out of the raft. The zip lines were awesome as well as the mountain bike trails.

Bret Glas

One of the coolest places to bring adventurous kids and families. Rapids, ropes & deep water solo rock wall was all we could get in. So much to do! We’ll be back for kayaking courses and everything else. LOVED THIS PLACE!

Devin Fisher

Great place to stop in and check out some whitewater action. I had some extra time before my flight and decided to stop by. Wow! What a great place for rafting and kayaking. The people flying over on the zip lines were having fun too. 10/10 would do this again.

Anthony Messina

This place was absolutely amazing. I came and got the full day pass and was able to do so much things. It was $60 and I managed to get in rock climbing above water, white water rafting, zip lines, free fall. I did go on a Sunday and it wasn’t too crowded, but if you went a weekday it’d probably be even better. The environment was so cool and the views were great. I 100% recommend doing this if you are any bit an adventurous, outdoorsy and are in Charlotte!

Miguel Garza

I've never seen anything like this place, which is basically like an outdoor adventure amusement park. We've gone at least once a month since moving to Charlotte earlier this year and don't remotely regret getting the annual passes. Bottom line, even if you're not too outdoorsy, you need to come visit if you haven't already. There's always events like jam bands over the summers, fireworks, yoga, runs and the list goes on. Of course there's also endless rafting, ziplines, high rope courses, rock climbing, mountain biking and stand up paddle board on flat water!

Alison Chase

Day pass is a Great value! At this time of year you can easily get in two or three events. Recommend!

Daniel Sundquist

One of the funnest places that I have been to in years. If you have a chance to go I would highly recommend it. I personally was on the ropes courses and zip lines but there is rafting, rock climbing and I think some sort of diving. Just remember to bring proper clothes for the activities you want to do.

Zlatan Hrnic

What a cool and wonderful place. Food, drinks and views for days. Didn't get to try out any of the activities myself but they looked awesome

Kyle Hall

River Jams Rock! Seriously, you can get lost in the crowd listening to the music right by the water and rafting or you can find a more intimate spot with more space and still find yourself dancing. Awesome space for anyone!

Austin Leedy

I got to take my family here for the first time on Monday. It was a great day to walk, relax with some tasty beers and catch up. Even though we didn't do any of the activities - it was a lot of fun to watch others come down the river. We ate at the restaurant and we all enjoyed our meals and enjoyed how many beers there were to choose from. I love coming here and how many options there are for having fun!

Andy Cairo

Had an amazing time. We went mountain bike riding, trails were great! Also forgot my helmet and was able to rent one for five dollars. They have all the gear you’ll need if you forget something.

Charli Klowden

Love this place! Came here with my 5 month old daughter for hiking and exploring and the trails were perfect. The staff was so friendly and helped us find the perfect trail for a little day hike. Get there early for fewer crowds on the weekends!

Miguel Perez

This is a great place to take the family. The white water rafting was a lot of fun. I only wish I had enough time to go on the zipline.

Megan Velez Rivera

We had an amazing day here. Can't beat this deal when basically all equipment and experiences are included. Well worth the cost and the restaurant and beer were a huge plus. Food and beer was fantastic.

Stephanie Shue

This place was very fun and safe. I had a great time and there's so much to do from hiking to biking to kayaking. The employees were very nice and helpful.

Sean Hatfield

Great place to visit, staff was great. Definitely takes longer then you think. Plan a day and do it all.

Katie Allegro

Lia, our raft guide was phenomenal! Helped to make our rafting experience very enjoyable! Get there early and start with zip lining to beat the crowd. Check out the other activities, reserve a time on the white water rafting and enjoy a good meal at the restaurant. We got lucky and caught some live music!

Tad Bixby

A cornucopia full of outdoor family fun. If you live in the area or pass through often, don't hesitate in buying the annual pass. Show up twice and it's paid for the rest of the year! Pro Tip: Tuesdays are slow, so you'll have the river and all the fun almost to yourself.

Taylor Dobbs

I visited to run the Tread Nightly half-marathon. The race was extremely well-organized, and my wife and I spent a few hours on the grounds before the start. The food and beer options are great, with excellent service and views. The running and biking trails are excellent and offer something for bikers of all skill levels. I'll definitely be back!

Anna Watkins

Activities, food, drinks, live music, and lots of dogs. This place has something for everyone! We love going on nights they have live music or days they have events. Bring the dogs, bring lawn chairs, and enjoy!

Frankie

Bring the kids and lots of sunscreen. The sit-down restaurant is fairly priced and has great burgers. The pasta dish seemed a bit too spicy for my friend, but I think it's a curry dish. Wish we had room for dessert but the burgers filled us up

Clifford Haas

River jam is amazing. The space is great and the vibe is relaxed. It's clean and fill of great people watching.

Jamie King

Had a wonderful time today. Our guide Brian K. (Or is it Bryan?) was a hoot. I really enjoyed his knowledge of rafting and his awesome dad jokes! Will return!

Fabius garcia

I have been here two times and both where breath taking literally. Plus the staff was great and very helpful.

Zackery Cullinan

Best in-city outdoor attraction. Built our own raft for the "BYOB" competition. Always have something fun to do!

P.J. Leslie

We had an awesome time wandering, eating, and then whitewater rafting with Zack! He deserves a TON of recognition for keeping everyone safe, for giving a GREAT guided tour of both whitewater loops, and for keeping the training funny and entertaining so that everyone is paying attention. He even had to save a girl who fell out of another boat while we were rafting and he did it all with the utmost safety in mind. The fella needs a raise! Thanks for a great time!
