Beautiful old building. Great place to see and hear concerts. Sound is great wherever you sit. You can't visit NYC without at least coming to look at the building. Actually, I believe that yours of the building are given but call to check dates and times.

Such a beautiful and historic place. It will always hold a special place in my heart since I was able to watch my son perform here. If you’re in New York this is a must. It truly is one of the most beautiful theaters I’ve ever been in. The bar is a little pricey. Really who cares though, it’s New York and Carnegie Hall.

We had a great time there. Usually hard to get a table, we got lucky at the bar. Beer selection is great. Food portions are huge so we took home the leftovers. They have parking lot in front of the pub.

We took the guided tour today. A wonderful concert hall which was nearly lost to the "developers". The guide was excellent and very generous with his time. Three years ago we had attended a superb concert and were keen to learn more about the hall.

The public tour was great! Nice insights to it's history and you can get as close to the stage as you want. I will definitely be back for a live concert.

We went to the family day on a Sunday. The program was great, each floor has different activities and different performances. Kids are having great time, highly recommend if you want to have a musical day with young children and picnic in the grassy courtyard!

Regal, grand, beautiful, historic..it`s Carnegie Hall! What bad thing could be said about this place? I was here for my son's graduation from medical school, not for a performance, but feel fortunate to have had a reason to visit. It was the perfect place to celebrate his incredible accomplishment!

Living in and around Manhattan, you hear about all these great places that you should go. Carnegie Hall was one of those that I kept hearing about but only recently visited. The building is incredibly gorgeous and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I have seen two performance here and have very much enjoyed listening to the music from the performers. A must visit in Manhattan!

Gorgeous hall... Historic with beautiful design. This space is very much an orchestral hall with more to be desired for full chorus and orchestra. The speakers help with balance, but nothing close to more contemporary halls like the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.

Attended a ballet with orchestral accompaniment. Despite being near the last rows the notes were crisp and the view of the performance was unimpeded. Carnegie Hall is world-renowned for its accoustics. It has been said that Andrew Carnegie designed this theater so "you can hear a pin drop". That is accurate, for microphones are barely necessary and they were not even invented at the birth of this entertainment Mecca. This is the finest theater in New York City despite my love for the Met! The Metropolitan Opera may be the ultimate in class, but it is no Carnegie. There is a significant difference.

This place was so beautiful and wonderful. My wife has always wanted to go...been by it several times, took pictures and etc, but nobody ever took here. I planned it for a 40th birthday surprise because it just so happened that the Philadelphia Philharmonic was there the night of her birthday... She was so surprised and had such a wonderful time. The show, the building, the people, ALL of it was amazing!

This is a place that you put on your bucket list, old historic building some of the greatest musicians I've played here. The vibe the attention to detail the chairs you sitting on the balcony just mind blowing.

Carnegie Hall lived up to its reputation with the elegant and stunning looking architectural design and the sound was outstanding. I was in the nose bleed section known as the balcony or 4 levels up and the sound felt amazing to the point that standing ovations were deserved often. The elevator was incredibly slow and hot and it’s better to take the stairs. Can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful hall. I performed here a few days ago in the Pittsburgh International Music Competition Winner’s Recital. The balcony gave me such an amazing view! Definitely consider stopping by if you are traveling to New York.

Sat in the dress circle and the sound was still excellent. The staff were really helpful. Getting snacks during intermission was difficult with the crowd and many items weren't actually offered.
