Great plan and good maintained beach. Your safety is assured because there are multiple life guards on site. Easy access and you can even find affordable beach houses around. Was a great time and this location is highly recommended. Go enjoy your summer!

I always love going to the beach. The water may be far away but at least you don't need a beach tag to go out there. Theres so much to do on the boardwalk and so many places to get food. It was another sad to see the boardwalk mall was so empty though. I always loved going in there with so many stores it would take alil while it was a nice reprieve from the sun but now theres nothing really in there. The dog beach is a nice touch too, even though i don't have a dog i love seeing all the dogs having fun in the water. They deserve to be able to have fun with their familys too.

Couldn't park in in the loop in front of the sign because it was full and we couldn't park in the parking lots because the event holder at the time "had bought up all the parking lots" at the convention center thereby forcing us to have to park 4 blocks away and walk back. Oddly, as of 1pm there were literally two fully open lots. Event holders shouldn't be allowed to monopolize the parking.

This is the emblem of your vacation, the "Hollywood" sign of the city. It is a great place to take pictures but it is pretty crowded. If you want to be alone or have a chance to take a picture of the sign with no one in it, you need to go there pretty early. Sunrise Is a great time to get a picture of the sign.

If you love Wildwood and balls, this is the place for you. These aren't your average balls. These are state of the art reinforced concrete spheres painted to look like beach balls. I was able to stand on top of these bad boys and pose for pictures no problem. Highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area.

I've been going to wildwood every summer since childhood. It never gets old. They've added new things but classic things like certain rides and arcades and activities still stand. Love the beach, it's the only free beach left in New Jersey and still the cleanest. Water is great, don't mind the long walk through the sand to the water.

Went here for my Honeymoon! And we try to come back, when we can. We brought the kids, now we bring the grandchildren! It's family oriented, not like some beaches, you don't have to pay to go on the beach! They even have bike week, like I said, Family oriented. It's soooooo much fun.

Do not kick any of the balls, they're made of cast iron and they will hurt. I'm pretty sure my toe is swollen from me kicking it repeatedly. Alright relax, no one kicked the balls, although we did see a bunch of Staties hiding out with binoculars looking for a suspect on the beach. Fact. Also I think it's to see if anyone had booze on the beach. Pretty lame if you ask me, but it is the dry part of Wildwood. You heard it right, there's a dry part of Wildwood. Literally the restaurants don't serve alcohol. I guess it's a good idea.

I remember going there as a kid the nature hasnt change so close to life that it has its own nature discovery urging you to learn my lids and I found all kind of sea skeletons from blue shell crabs to stone crabs, and clams and the water was wave worthy fun as well

A very nice beach and boardwalk. Trolly system was hard to use. Either they would not take you if you didn't have exact change, or they came to close together you would miss both of them. Not enough trolley signs to catch the trolley. The one trolley lady wasn't very nice at all.

Expect to have people in the background also taking pictures no matter how much you ask them to get out of your shot. Iconic sign, but if you want something not as cheesy I suggest taking a picture by the "welcome to Wildwood" sign

Wildwood after Labor Day is what you need to try. They have all kinds of events. The hotels are cheaper and it is less crowded. Go during the last two weekends in September and see car shows, enjoy Irish and Italian festivals and the Oktoberfest on the pier! Starlux is perfect if you can book it. Perfectly located, price is right and great hotel. Enjoy!

Cute, touristy installation. A nice way to be welcomed to the beach. If you stopping by for a photo, come earlier in the day before the crowd gets there so you don't have to deal with strangers in your pictures. It seems to get a lot of people during the afternoon hours, especially on days when there are activities at the convention center or sportsball tournaments on the beach.

Nice place to visit with family! Its quite a hike from the boardwalk to the water but over all a great beach. The beach is nice, very clean and roomy. The parking is free and the boardwalk has restaurants, shops and gifts. There is an amusement park on one end and monster trucks you can ride in. Definitely a vacation must!

My family and I love Wildwood. It's a good family destination. To be honest though, its really becoming pricey. Also, one thing that deters me from looking in the stores is being hassled to buy something or being followed around like I'm some sort of thief. I've been coming here since I was a kid and now bring my own kids but it's disheartening.

This is for " Oceanic Hotel" This hotel is old and dated. The minimal amount of staff try very hard. They are very hospitable and try to accommodate . The employees are looking forward to the upcoming renovations. Carpets in rooms are very much worn out. Tiles are missing and wall paper falling off. Mold noted in bathroom. The hotel was packed for the week. The pool was full of guests, but we went to the Ocean so no comments there. The hotel at one time had a restaurant, but no more. It does have a bar and a Tiki bar outside,with entertainment on weekends. The kitchen was poorly maintained, plastic silverware,worn pots and pans,cooking utensils were melted. The big thing that was bad the refrigerator took 2 days to get cold ,so we lost a bunch of food that we had just purchased from the local Acme Supermarket. On another good note for the hotel was that it was peaceful, close to Ocean, very safe ,and secure. Accommodated to handicapped people for parking and help getting bags to room,as well as having an elevator. We will look forward to seeing the "New "renovations . The atmosphere was quaint. A sitting area inside as well as chairs and tables outside. Beautiful views of the Ocean from the balconies,and gorgeous skies and sunsets.

I'm not sure how to review a landmark. It's a sign that says Wildwoods with a bunch of fake beach balls in front of it. Seemed like a good place for a photo opportunity which many people were doing. I just needed a place to rest and sat on a beach ball and pretended I was having fun.

Wildwoods is an excellent place for a holiday! There are a lot of hotels, motels and inns. The beach is long and sandy, on parts has life guard on duty. This sign shows the start of the boardwalk, full of dining and shopping places. Make sure you make a photo with the sign in the middle and at the end to!
