REVIEWS OF Ice Castles IN New Hampshire

Dan Umbenhaur

This place is awesome! Heard about it for some years and was NOT disappointed! We went right before sunset and that's the time to go. You get the full experience before it gets too cold. This place makes adults feel like kids and kids just …

Matt Porter

The castle itself was ok. The show with fire was nice. Would not drive that far again, but glad to have visited once.

Acouple Withoutborders

We were torn between a 4 or a 5. It's cool. Not like the most spectacular thing in the world but we enjoyed it. We wouldn't go on a weekend because crowd would definitely make it less enjoyable. We did the 6pm slot on a weekday. Not too crowded and nice too explore the area. They have an ice slide that was fun (for adults too!) and a cute ice bench to take photos on. *Wear snow pants like their website suggests if you want to go on the slide. You slide on a little map but you'll get wet if you're wearing jeans. Fun to take pics of all the ice and they have hot choc and cinnamon bun areas, with fires to warm up - luckily when we went it was in the 30s and didn't feel cold. Price definitely reasonable. You can stay as long as you want when you get in - we ended up staying around 45 mins. Looked like the kids there had a lot of fun!

Apurv Mehta

Absolutely great experience worth it. The slide is worth the price of admission

David Bradley

Had a great time I should have worn warmer boots my toes they were a freezing

Leah Boch

I’ve lived in the area for three years and only just made it to the castles. If you can go mid week it is worth it. The lines for the slide are short and it is generally just less crowded.

Charles Smith

Excellent time with family and friends for anyone interested in checking it out. Sadly the season is over but looking forward to going g again next season!!!

Andrew Harteveldt

Definitely worth seeing, go ar night for best visuals. The slide is so so, if the line is all the way to the landing area expect to wait 40 minutes. There is a sleigh ride but it costs extra.

Paul Bolduc

A fun spot to visit. Must go down the slide! Very friendly staff.

Jacob Berman

Took a trip up on Valentine's day 2018 and spent over 4 hours admiring the ice walls, fountain and slides, definitely didnt need to stay that long as it was freezing and does not take that long to see everything BUT we needed to see the place at night! They incorporate lights into the ice walls and floors for an amazing and colorful night castle! It's a must see at least once or make it a yearly trip!

Sheikh Farabi

Nice place. Freezing cold. Make sure to bundle up. Toes are specially critical. Make sure to take hand warmer.

Stephanie Dicesare

So cool! I definitely recommend wearing snow boots and bundling up. The pathways are made of crushed ice and snow. Night time is cooler because the ice is lit up different colors. Great for photos!

Jacqueline Collins

Magical place, staff was awesome even though I was in a crazy costume taking photos with friends.

Marissa Barner

Awesome experience!!!! We went to the castles at night. I would love to see it in the day as well as at sunset. Such a neat idea. Great for kids and adults! Love coming to Lincon in the winter.

Roy Davidson

Great experience at the Ice Castles. Very unique and fun. We did the sleigh ride first with "skinny" a real life cowboy from Utah. Skinny shared great stories and made the sleigh ride really fun. The Castles were great to look at and offered great photo ops . The ice slide was the best, one for the kiddies and one for the adults. The adult slide goes through an ice tunnel! Well worth the money and everyone was so friendly. I definitely would do it again!

Paul Lorandeau

This should be added to your must do list of winter events! However the grooming of the horses used for the sleigh ride was a bit rough. The horses seemed to be excellent health just dirty.....

julian piedrahita

Great place . Should open Sundays and give more publicity

johnlegolden

Walking through this ice castle feels like you are in the world of frozen the architecture within the castle is a stunner and within the castle are fun slides and hidden gaps in where u can adventure in. They also serve hot coco there and cinnamon buns yumm

cwalkenisgod

A touch of winter magic in the middle of nowhere. Located in Lincoln, New Hampshire - The Ice Castles are an attraction in the middle of the sleepy mountain town for the whole family. With multiple tunnels kids can scramble around through, sledding through lit passageways made of ice, horse-drawn sleigh rides, a hot cocoa stand and hand-warming station, and multiple spots for beautiful photo ops - there is sure to be something for everyone. However - bundle up because it can get brutally cold. Also - if you leave, you can't come back in again unless you pay. Would highly recommend for a night of winter fun.

Kristen Sheran

What a waste of time. I bought my tickets ahead of time drove up 3 hours to find out the generator was down. It wouldn’t have been a problem if they just let us know. I revived a confirmation text and email, but nothing saying they were having difficulty. When I arrived there was staff saying there would be a refund, but who cares about the $15 I care about the 6 total hours of driving. Just very disappointing. It seems to be a trend of the attraction having problems. Figure it out or just close don’t have people come out for nothing.

Nikhil Karkare

I was expecting it to be looking like a real castle, but it's OK. It's a one-time watch place. You will enjoy the slides though.

Stacey Reed

What's more beautiful than this is absolutely stunning it's a must-see kind of place.

Shauna Urbanowski

Buddle up! I thought ear muffs and a good jacket would be perfect. I wasnt thinking boots, snow pants, and hand warmers. Amazing experience despite my lack of common sense.

Mary Peckham

This was a lovely experience. We had smiles on our face the entire time. We didn't want to leave!

maranda demers

A must see at night! Absolutely magical!

Zack L

Really cool place (pun intended). Great if you like to take photos, and they even have the option for sleigh rides. Pros: - Uniquely beautiful attraction - Ice slides/ tunnels - Great photo ops - Kind staff - Stay as long as you like Cons: - A bit expensive-- $20 just to walk through the castles, more if you want the sleigh ride - Only takes about 5 minutes to see everything All-in-all, a great stop, just be sure to wear warm clothes!

bobbi jane plummer

It was nice i loved the slide. I thought it was the best part

Veronica Joyce

We had a lot of fun at the Ice Castles! My feet did get really cold but I was still able to enjoy it. There were fun little tunnels to crawl through. I didnt go on big the slide because the line was way too long. I had some hot chocolate and a cinnamon roll and stood by a fire pit to keep warm. It was really beautiful and worth the $20. Going at night was nice because the kids all left halfway through my time and it was less crowded. The colors were all beautiful and there was music playing. I went around lol and had a good time.

Brandon Broseker

I asked my woman to marry me here tonight and it was a success. We had alot fun inside the ice castles and on our way out I asked her right where the people were getting there pics. She not only said yes but we got it all professionaly photographed. Very good experience and a night we will always remember

Franklin Morel

This place was amazing everything you expect and more. I will say please dress warm if you go at night it gets cold like really cold. The slide is fun no matter what your age is

Jessie Barr

Really neat. The line for the slide was really long. I wish i had put toe warmers in my boots because the 40ish mins in line while not moving was hard. The slide was worth the wait.

Kathy Ransom

Loved it dress warm with water proof boots and extra socks it is down right cold but well worth the trip and wait of 3 yrs to see... Really cool

Tiffany Huth

I checked the website the night before and it said Saturday they were open at 12pm. I drove over 3 hours to get there and it said closed until 6! When I called they said yeah we’re closed until 6 since it’s our last night and we’re sold out! NO WHERE ON THE WEBSITE IT SAID ANY OF THAT!! I drove all this way with 3 kids for nothing!! Worst customer service! Would NOT recommend going.

Lacey Glajch

3 yo loved it. Very pretty. Fun and unique activity.

Manuel Fraustro

It is a great experience for kids. You could easily be out of there in 30 mins as the castles are not so big. This was the only part that was frustrating to me as I drove 2 hrs to get there. However if you take children they can have a lot of fun with the slides. There is a snack where you can buy coffee, hot chocolate and cinnamon buns. Winter clothes are required. Selfie sticks are allowed. Restrooms are portable and they are right at the entrance. Once you are out you can't go back in so plan your restroom visits accordingly.

Mark FitzSimmons

Too many people. It's a victim of it's own success.

Ashley Lapierre

It's a beautiful place to go and see, especially for photography! I loved the slide, and they offer a hand warming station where you can purchase hot chocolate and/or a snack. There are many tunnels to crawl through and some smaller kids slides. Riders on the large slide must be at least 42" and you have to ride alone. For an additional price you can go on a horse pulled sleigh ride as well. A bit pricey and a little smaller than expected, but a great place to check out.

Barry Londoff

Magical and unique. Worth the drive.

Debbie Locke

This place is amazing, what they can do with ice wow! Everyone there was so friendly and welcoming. The sleigh ride made us want to sing as we traveled through the snow. And the hot Cocoa was a nice touch But the cinnamon buns were the best

Mindy Williams

We went during the day. Smaller than expected and parking lot was a muddy mess, but still worth it if you can snag a deal on tickets. Ice slide was fantastic.

Ben Schmitz

Glad I saw it once in my life, but it was so busy it was difficult to enjoy, especially trying to track a couple kids in the dark with swarms of people everywhere.

Teri Dunbar

I would never go again. We had the worst experience with absolutely no resolution

Heather McLaughlin

What an awesome experience! My daughter was in awe. Great family attraction. Can't wait to go back next year.

Andrew Lam

Pretty cool place to go. My friends and I went later in the afternoon, which was a good time because we were able to see the ice castles during the day and at night. The ice castles were better at night because of the different lights that they have. Definitely need to bundle up if you're planning to stay there long. There is a very short slide, but we had to wait a while to go down it. Overall, it was a good experience.

Federal House Inn

We look forward to the Ice Castles each & every year! The light show is and the slide are awesome. Always a good time!

Laura Cole

I was told that it was underwhelming so I went in with low expectations. I knew no matter what that my 2 year old would love it. It was so much cooler than I thought it would be! Multiple slides that the kids can go down and little tunnels that they can explore. There's fires to warm your hands. Also the tickets give a 30 minute timeslot but they let you know at the ticket window that you can stay as long as you'd like. The only thing that was disappointing was that in the pictures I saw before going showed a meet and greet with Elsa and other princesses. They weren't at the ice castles when we went on the weekend and we built it up to our little girl. Luckily she forgot once she saw everything else. Overall it was a nice family stop.

Robin Graves

Beautiful. Amazing. The negative ...A big crowd

Rachelle D'Espinosa

Bundle up! Very cold. The snack bar does accept cards too. 5p is best time to get pictures and then wait for the lights. It's gorgeous. The line to the big slide and crown chair is very long and gets longer as the night goes on. There are fire pits but they fill up quick on a cold night. Have fun!

Bhargav Kesavan

We’d an excellent time here when we took the hobo rail trip. Such a calm and serene environment. Staffs at the store were very kind and gentle. Restrooms were very clean. Ample of parking space. Just wow!! And do not miss to visit during autumn and summer. Such a beautiful place.

PJ Couture

Went there last night after finally obtaining a reservation. I have to say they redeemed themselves after many frustrations when I learned that after I had purchased a Seize the Deal double set of tickets, I still had to make reservations to actually go. I go online to see that unless you are on vacation, they are only essentially open on Saturday. What??!! And all available Saturdays were SOLD OUT. The March calendar was not even available yet. (I understand this is weather related.) Many long waits on hold on the phone and slow-to-respond email inquiries later I receive email from Seize The Deal telling me Ice Castles was opening into March. I sat at my computer hitting refresh over and over again on the IC website until finally the March calendar became available and I finally obtained an evening reservation for 4. I have been before at Loon. I think the new location in Woodstock is fabulous. It's intermingled in the trees. It was a clear, windless, starry night. The lighting is why it's best to go at night. There were far more little crawl tubes, mini slides, and lookout points carved out in the walls than the previous location. They also had a lemon squeeze. We really enjoyed the ice sculpture garden that was well lit and incorporated in the trees. We finished out waiting in the long line for the double-tubed, fully ice enclosed slide and my husband and I Christmas-Story ho-ho-hoed our way down through the rainbow lights of the slide. It was worth the wait. We did not partake of snack or store purchases, nor the horse-drawn wagon rides. We also walked in just in time to see an engagement happen. That was wicked cool! All this being said, Ice Castles, you simply MUST be open full weekends! You simply must more clearly communicate your reservation system! You must respond more quickly to inquiries. People obviously WANT to go here so make it more available. Guests, well women especially, dress for WINTER, not a night club. It is cold. I was so amused seeing scantily clad music club-shoe wearing shivering ladies while I was toasty warm in my ski pants, coat and winter boots. And visitors be ware, driving entry and exit, as well as parking, is rough! 4 stars because of difficulties obtaining a weekend reservation.

DeAnne Curran

Really great experience. Make sure you get your tickets well ahead of time, since they sell out fast. We went early and it was much more crowded and harder to navigate once we'd been there a few hours. My five year old had a blast and said the slides were the best part.

Brianna Gallant

It was a great experience all in all. The only bummer was that the big slides line was as long as the theme parks roller coaster line and if we would of waited in it, it would have been closed before we even got to the front. Other than that my family had a really great time, we might just go a bit earlier next year.

devika ghedia

Ice castles was an underwhelming experience. Becuase we wanted the experince to be a surprise we didn't google the images to check out the place. When we finally arrived after driving 3hrs from Boston we were disappointed to see the short dome entrance. We imagined really tall castle walls made of ICE, maybe we expected just too much. This place is great for group of families to have an outing but otherwise it was not worth spending $20 for the tickets and 3-hr drive. You can finish seeing around in less than an hour.

Rachel Ganimian

The ice is beautifully carved! There is even a fountain in the castle. You can slide down the ice slides as well.

Paul Steil

Cool place to visit. Guys there to guide you to your parking spot. Most people send about 45 minutes to an hour here. Very pretty.

Jason Keyser

First time going, ended up going twice! Really cool (no pun intended). Also went on the horse drawn sleigh ride. Staff was incredibly friendly!

Haley Smith

5 stars if I was a kid! But I'm 30... can't wait to see it early next year!!! I visited Mid March, it was obvious some ice had melted. Slides were still available to children!!

Anjani Kumar Vutukuru

Nice place had great time. Worth visiting once. Be prepared it will be cold there. You will enjoy only during decent weather days so plan accordingly. Even if you book based on weather you can call them and reschedule.

Cindy Deschenes

I went at 7 PM which was great since it was all light up at night. The con with that is the temp drops so it is a lot colder compared to day time. This place seemed great for people of all ages (maybe not people who are handicap or can't walk easily). All the staff was super nice and helpful. I drove from Portland Maine and it was worth it. I did see cars from farther away like Connecticut. I dont think it's worth that much of a drive. I spent a total of 30 mins there.

Liz Coogan

We didn't have time to do the hayride, and that may have put it over the top. Also, go at night, it is much cooler. Don't miss the ice slide, worth the wait in line.

judith Sullivan

Have been in years past and it is beautiful! Was looking forward to bringing my nieces for their first time. Booked a weekend getaway with a house rental for mid January based on the fact that they claim to open late December or early January. Bought 8 presale tickets at a cost of $134. Ice Castle not yet open during that weekend. Emailed them about it; refusing a refund. Suggesting to change the date (we live out of state with a 3+ hour drive) or give our tickets away!!! Said that tickets are only refundable due to certain circumstances. I would think the fact they are not open when they claim they would be would be an exception.

Jasmine Kauffman

We had an absolute blast spending Valentine's day at the NH Ice Castles. We arrived at 630 for the horse sleigh rides which run from 630-7 and are an absolute must. We then explored the castle, even getting brave enough to crawl through the various tunnels which were so much fun. We warmed up by the fires and even went down the ice slide which was hands down my favorite part - I've never laughed so hard. We did get the professional photo taken for $30 as the lighting was pretty dark in and out of the castles. A little pricey, but you got a "free" t-shirt with purchase. There was a nice fountain on the way out, make sure to catch that. Very nice evening!! Everyone was so friendly.

Anita Alves

A cute day trip for sure! Make sure to buy tickets ahead of time and wear warm clothing and good winter boots (all muddy and icy). Parking is in all muddy and snowy area but they directed everyone nicely. Looks disappointing when you drive up, but cute enough to visit.

Matt Mercier

Great new location; always nice experience with friends. We took the local taxi service, instead of parking. Slide and fountain are pretty cool.

Laurie __

Interesting to see as adults, but looked like a lot of fun for the children running around and going down the slide. Definitely something to see, but go in the beginning of the season, not towards the melting end.

Heidi Bentz

Most organized event I have been to! Sleigh ride is a must. Must see at night.

Pablo Halpern

The ice castles were lit from within at night, giving them a cool glow. The ice slide was fun, but the line was long for such a short ride. Worth seeing once, but I'm not sure I'll return.

Shavana Lamberth

Love it! Nice place for beautiful pictures while creating memories

Ryan Shackett

Lil pricey on everything which has sadly gotten pretty typical to area and attractions in general. but beautiful place and fun to see and explore and lots of great photo opportunities

Amanda Caron

My husband took me here for my birthday back in February and it was stunning! I highly recommend everyone wanting to go see the ice castles to do it!

Diane Gibson

It was beautiful. Went so my granddaughter could see Elsa. She was supposed to be there until 6. We got there at 4:00 and was told she left. I understand they are volunteering, but they need to commit or don't advertise a time. Also, food (cookies, cinnamon buns, hot chocolate and water) way over priced. Horse and wagon ride, expensive too, wasn't much to see, but some lights in the trees. Ride was about 10 - 15 minutes. Was shocked to hear, the horses came from Utah, because they couldn't get volunteers from here to do it.

Treesa Creps

So awesome. I highly recommend the staff is awesome and know what they are doing. The castle is huge and can fit a lot of people so when when it's busy it doesn't feel that way. The slides really are the best part.

Jenn McNelly

If I could give a “NO STAR RATING I WOULD!!!” Place is ridiculous, parking attendants are swine foul in behavior. Employees overall are rude and disrespectful towards the people in my party that I was with. “Highly wouldn’t recommend going there too much money for a 5-10 minute attraction. I can go to Walmart for “5 minutes” an still have a better and more interesting experience than spending an hour here!

Jennyfer Castro

Awesome and cool place! The icicles are absolutely stunning and there's a cool ice slide! Def fun for all ages

Christine T.

This is a must to do for families. So much to do and you feel like a kid when you go down the slides. Love love love it and glad we went.

Rick Pitts

Supposed to have fire shows. Only when you ask about them when you are in it do they tell you the could not get a fire marshal that night. Come back tomorrow night if you want. (Except you need to buy admission again, and it is sold out). Very nice take in though. As others say it is small and quick.

jyssica boudreault

I thought they’d be a bit bigger.. the area the ice castles themselves covered was a small area, only took us about 25 mins to walk through them all. But they definitely were Beautiful and worth the trip. When we visited, they had a fire …

Amy Leone Richardson

An ethereal experience seeing all the man-made ice. Truly felt like I was visiting Elsa's ice castle! Pictures don't justice, but it was worth the 2.5 hours drive!!

Joe Mammone

A must-see if you're in the north Woodstock area of New Hampshire when this attraction is open. Wonderfully made ice castles and sculptures and slides and other fun activities await you when you enter. It truly is a marvel to see what they have done. It's also never the same, even if you go back on the next day they may have added new sculptures or design.

Kerry Blossfeld

Gorgeous! Amazing roofless 'castle' made entirely out of ice. There are multiple rooms, a working water fountain, tunnels to crawl through, and a giant ice slide! There is no heat so dress very warm. There is a concession stand with hot cocoa and cookies but there is no shelter. It's very easy to spend hours just walking around looking at all the icicles!

Mary J Healy

Bundle up for fun! Gorgeous ice sculptures at night and great for the family. Stay warm with mini fire pits and drink coco, or go down their rainbow slide- this place is an actual castle of ice!!

Diver Dave 80

Really fun experience. Would recommend.

Greg Lounsbury

Very fun! Parking was free, lots of tunnels and several slides. The colored lights inside of the ice was unexpected. Very cold, dress in layers (consider hand and foot warmers). We stayed about an hour and were utterly frozen leaving. But an hour seemed just about right to see most everything.

Jill P

Such a beautiful breathtaking experience.. highly reccomend. Dress WARM

Mary Hozlock

Kitschy tourist attraction. Better for kids than adults but beings there is minimal to do in area other than skiing we checked out. Seen it once, wouldn't go again. But I don't have kids.

AnneMarie Peterson

A long drive from CT, but so worth it. It was super fun and unique. I can't wait to buy tickets for my nieces and nephews! They'll love staying in a nearby hotel with a pool and seeing the castle by night. Great, unique activity for families or couples. Fairly priced. Well organized. And unlike most everything else, not oversold, therefore not too crowded! We had plenty of room to really enjoy and get great pictures!

Collin Glasow

Beautiful and charming, and rather chaotic. A good place for well-behaved kids to have fun and adults to let out their inner kid!

Marilyn Smollett

The ice sculptures are amazing to see and we enjoyed our visit immensely. I can't imagaine what it might take to please some of these people who wrote negative reviews. The are light shows inside the sculptures and the colors are constantly changing and are just beautiful. Just looking at all the work and engineering that goes into building these sculptures leaves you with such wonderment. It's well worth the price. Nothing boring about this at all.

Karin Feltus

Liked how they intertwined the woods with the ice sculptures. The multiple slides and crawl spaces were great. Loved the sleigh ride option. The only things that were disappointing was that none of the fire acts were there this year and the sleigh ride at the door was $15 per person.

Hjannette Lebron

Very beautiful and so much fun for the little ones.. great for pictures day or night..but ice castles background photos@ $30..a bit pricey.. parking is free, dress warm and porta potties outside and no re-entries...

Monique Christiansen

Fun! Majestic! Feel like in Frozen or Narnia movies! Lot of fun stuff to do!

Jay Ennis

Great time with our two year old granddaughter! She loved all of it but especially the ride on the horse drawn sleigh.

Eric Cunningham

Before we left our home for the 1 1/2 hour ride to visit we checked the website which stated that ice castles was open, we even called customer service to confirm they were open, but after being on hold for 7 minutes no one answered the phone. Ok, so we pack up the car with our 3 and 4 year old kids to visit, WE NEVER GOT IN! The parking lot attendant told us we could only get in if we purchased tickets online, WTF! Attendant had no sympathy for the situation, and was more than happy to lean in our car and tell our kids they can't come in, he was also more than happy to tell us to "f*** off" when I expressed my frustration with there web site, lack of someone to answer a phone. Shame on me I guess for not reading every single word on the website, hopefully in the future the website can just say "SOLD OUT", or maybe someone could answer the phone when you call. Oh well, from the other reviews I've read it sounds like a waste of money for a 10, 15 minute experience.

Kristina Ennis

Fun evening activity to do with children. Love the addition of sleigh rides.

Kristin Walsh

Extremely rude service by the man in the parking lot when they were sold out. It is not clear on the website that you NEED to buy tickets online and that it was sold out. Drove a far distance only to be greeted by a complete jerk. Extremely disappointed by the Horrible and rude service. I also highly doubt that everyone who buys the tickets online all actually go so they should have an option where you can wait in line. They need to make it clearer online when their tickets are sold out as well.

Natasha Lind

The Ice Castles were incredible! Definitely will be returning next year to see them at nighttime.

Roger Bailey

What a magical place! Every turn was a new vista of the gorgeous ice. Definately a great walk. There is even an ice covered slide area for the kids. The warm cinnamon bun was yummy!

James Parkhurst

Greatest thing I've ever seen.

Michael Mason

This is a must place to visit if you are in the Woodstock, Lincoln area. It is only seasonal. It is best to purchase tickets before going in advance, they sell out quickly. Check for hours of operation and bring warm clothing. They have assisted parking and a concession stand, and gift shop. There is portable bathrooms on site, very clean. They offer sleigh rides, but we did not go on it. I'm not sure, but I believe there is a additional price for this. The place was astounding, very magical and beautiful. I would refer this to family and friends and anyone who is in the area to visit. The price was fair, but they keep expanding from what I was told.

Eduardo Quinones

Great place if you want to experience something different we really enjoy our time definitely coming back.

Rich Vieira

Kids and family absolutely loved this beautiful attraction. The work that must go into creating this is incredible.

Lynette Eastman

Once again the Ice Castle was fantastic!! So much to see and explore. And best of all is the ice slide!!

Bobbi Gagne

It was sooo much fun!! We had a blast! It was really pretty. Definitely worth splurging on the slay ride! And make sure to wear snow pants even if it isn't super cold bc there are things to sit on and crawl through.

Alex Walczyk

Unique and beautiful experience. Crew that does the photos really make them fun when you can do a little more than a portrait (like jumping). Recommend.

mike skiinghousedad

Fast ice slide for the kids. Crunchy walking but safe.

Devon Winkie

Amazing experience for all ages! We went as a group of 40 year olds and got to feel like we were 5!

Linda Ham

Awesome evening. Love being a kid again...

Rohini Narayanaswamy

I visited Ice Castles NH in 2017 and was awed by it. However, my 1 star review is based on my recent experience. I had booked tickets for one of the upcoming weekends and due to an unforeseen event I cannot make it on that day. Ice Castles website provides the option to exchange tickets to a different day if there are availabilities. I chose a date one week later when tickets were fully available and put in a request for exchange. The system and faqs clearly say that it will take 24 to 48 hours for a response. It has however been 6 days and I haven't heard back. I tried calling them several times but the call is put on hold with nobody answering even after holding for over 10minutes. It is really sad since we will now be losing our money. We also had a hotel reservation in NH so we dont have to drive too long on the same day in cold weather. We were even able to postpone our stay but Ice Castles has not responded and now it seems like that's wasted too. Very disappointing customer service. There is no option to talk to an actual person. The request for exchange has to be done online and there isn't even an automated email response to it so that I have an evidence that I actually put in the request. Really sad! Back in 2017, ice castles was absolutely stunning and amazing. I would have given it 5 stars back then.

Nikki Small

Beautiful display and wonderfully created... thought the would be more to it... snack prices are severally overpriced!

Benjamin Hastings

Wonderful experience will go here again!!!

Dennis Wilson

Great winter family place! Spent about an hour and a half including the sleigh ride, walking through the castle, and pictures on the ice throne and with the princess. Get tickets ahead of time and dress warmly.

hogmark1

Wonderful outdoor winter playground and walk about. Great for kids and adults

Rene' Becker

Had a good time. Wish it was a little bigger. Pretty lce lighted up & sliding through the ice. Very friendly & family atmosphere.

Milton J Figueroa

It was alright. Definitely never doing it again, ever. Too expensive

Lily Vincent

Not as big as one would except, most likely a one time experience and a very nICE one at that

Jennifer C

Truly an amazing place. The castles are all man made and words cannot describe the art. The staff were also very friendly.

Aimee Nieroda

So so so much fun. They do an amazing job. I highly recommend. We drove 4 hours from CT to see. I am happy we did!

Michael Daly

Fun time for the family. Dress warm and especially wear warm footwear. Bring foot warmers. Local places to eat were packed with 1.5 hour waits on a Saturday so you may want to eat closer to home.

Daniel Gerow

Stunning ice castle, and really fun ice slide! Great experience for all ages!

Crystal Dow

One the coolest places, pun intended lol. It was fun, beautiful, cold and a place that adults an children can relax, enjoy and have a blast!!! Cannot wait to go again next year!

Justin Emery

A fantasy-like experience for sure, with a ice slide, food/hot cocoa stand and gift shop on the inside. Had a blast and will definitely be back next year!

John Seeman

The place was pretty nice. A cool novelty definitely. Things were kind of overpriced in my opinion, but there was plenty of staff, so I suppose that makes sense. Plus the staff were friendly and attentive; one woman thought her not-a-dress was appropriate with kids around, but they squashed that pretty quick, so kudos to security on that one. Tl;Dr the place is cool for pictures and the staff were friendly and attentive, but was a bit on the expensive side.

Fun place for families with small kids. Amazing sights!

The new location is amazing. It certainly allowed them to expand and create more experiences for both the young and young at heart. Only critique of the design was really that the "ice throne" was poorly let and it was obviously a family photo spot. The tunnels that connect different zones, the quiet nooks where parents could stop to connect with their kids ... All of it was awesome. Once again, the additional space was awesome ... you didn't feel like you were on top of people and bunched up the whole time like it used to feel at times at the previous location.

This is an amazing place visited this Winter. The ice

Awesome place if you have kids they will love it

Awesome spot, but both elsa and the fire show were cancelled... that was a big part of the reason we went this year..would have been 5 stars if their advertisements

I decided to finally go to the Ice Castles after years of seeing people's Facebook and Instagram photos taken there to see how it was for myself. My girlfriend and I travelled about two hours to see them and honestly we're pretty disappointed. You will most likely enjoy them of you have kids or are under 12 yourself because there are a lot of small tunnels and whatnot to mess around in but for any adult thinking of coming here for a romantic experience or for some weekend fun I'd skip it. The ice slide was pretty fun but the line gets very long especially around the holidays. The concessions are also outrageously priced in my opinion. Overall there's not a whole lot to this attraction (Even the ice sculptures are pretty lame, just abstract tiny things) that I don't think is worth the time or money unless you have small children or like to pay $20 to have some nice pictures for your Facebook wall

Nice place for kids. Not too big, can be done in an hour or so. My 4 year old boy thoroughly enjoyed the experience but you need to come prepared- bring snow pants, hat, gloves/Morena, specially for kids.

Awesome place to visit if you're around New Hampshire. Thanks to the long, long New England winters, the place is open till mid of March or so. There's a huge ice "maze"/pathways and several ice sculptures, together with ice slides.

Frank Bennett

Definitely a unique experience. Sleigh ride was totally worth it. Ride the slide.

Galen

Super cool, but so busy that it wasn't worth waiting for some of the features, like the ice slide or horse rides.

Alex Pina

Its beautiful and a must see. Highly recommend going after dark. Parking and navigating through the "castle" area is a chaotic. It was a little crowded. I think it's because ticket times dont seem to matter.

Joseph Harvey

It is a bit of a ride but IMO it was a cool family event. We enjoyed it, kids up to adults. Just made a night of it. Drove out, hung out there and drove home and stopped for dinner. Buy your tickets in advance though because they sell out fast and they WILL not let you in because you drove a while. Go at night, it is nicer to see.

Evan Horton

Amazing way to spend an hour. The ice castle was a lot better and bigger than what I was expecting. The way they connect everything through ice is just phenomenal. My wife said she felt like Elsa the second she stepped through the entrance.

Beautiful and breathtaking, great date spot also great for a family outings! Going during the day you get to see the ice Wich is what I like to think of as an artic blue. However at night the castle is out of this world with a rainbow slide and the whole castle is lit up and changes with all music playing truely an amazing atmosphere

It is a must see! My 78 & 83 year old parents went down the slide. You have to see the natural beauty that the ice forms to truly grasp how nature can shine. We had an incredible time. Thanks to the whole staff, you were great

Gelaine Strozeski

Absolutely beautiful! Great family activity can't wait to go next year!

Diana Babel

It was great to finally see the Ice Castles! Fun tunnels and slides for kids and adults! Beautiful! We were there about 2 hours, road/driveway in is very bumpy and parking is alittle chaotic. Snow pants, coat, boots, mittens and hat are a must!

This was my first visit to Ice Castles and it was a treat to my eyes. One gets simply amazed by different formations there. Make sure to layer properly to fully enjoy there. Ice slide had a long wait but was totally worth it. They have fire show every 30 min or so but I felt bored within 10 min as it was pretty laid back. As for food, we only had cinnamon roll and hot chocolate at the only cafeteria there. Homemade cinnamon roll was good but hot chocolate was disappointing.

Paul Gleske

Kids loved it, two 4 year olds, 8 and 10. Big slide was the best, even got Grandma to go down. Lights came on as dusk hit, very pretty. Snow pants a must. Perfect weather today. Hot chocolate expensive, bring your own thermos for after.

Peter Duford

We had a great time. The slide was a blast and the twists, turns and tunnels of the castle were fun to navigate. The warm cinnamon buns were very tasty.

Michael M

Make sure to get your tickets ahead of time. Cinnamon buns are great. Slide line is VERY long but worth the wait. Wear snow pants and boots and dress warmer than you think.

Benjamin Cochran

It’s ok. Cool place to see once. Marketed to adults, but geared towards children. Also night time is the best time to go, but the pictures never come out without the light.

Scott Mellott

Great atmosphere. Ice structures we're cool to look at. Ice slide was great just wish they had more than one.

stan speer

Place much bigger than previous location. Ice slide was awesome.a must go.

Kimberly Fortini

Took my 2 granddaughters here during their February vacation. They absolutely loved it. I as well thought it was beautiful. The sleigh ride was awesome!!! Our guide Skinny for the sleigh ride was very entertaining throughout. Great Time!!!

Kaylie Fryer

Honestly was expecting so much more because of the pictures. It was cool but definitely not worth the 2 hour drive.
