The Mansion is an old family house built in 1906 by one of the early benefactors of Billings, MT. P.B. Moss built his family home on the outskirts of a growing frontier town. Mansion decor and display is maintained by a dedicated, educated staff that offer tours, lectures and information of Billings history.

Bibek Shakya

Went to a baby shower hosted in Moss mansion.. the atmosphere was great.. good place to host events

Catarino Munoz

Our tour guide Allie was super nice and very informative. She made the experience of viewing this beautiful house much more enjoyable. Love that you can actually go through each room instead of just looking from the door in like they have it at other museums. Definitely a must see when visiting Billings, Montana

I've been to the outside of it many times over the years. Beautiful definitely from that view. Haven't been to the inside since l was a kid. I'm sure it's even more so. The moss mansion was voted a while ago or part of a book of the 50 most beautiful houses in america

I love It. The eerie vibe is amazing, and the staff are very polite. I went there a few years ago for a photography class and I was told by some that it has some paranormal activity, is that true? Because if so I would love to come back and do more research on that.

Beautiful historic house. It is well maintained and tour guides are friendly and informative. They have seasonal programs set up there. Christmas trees from organizations to vote on, Halloween spook house, etc. Can also be rented for certain personal events. It’s a beautiful home and full of Billings history

Cool place

Jim brown

Wonderful home, wonderful history.

C G

We did not go inside as we were there when it was closed. It was still nice to walk on the grounds and see the house from the outside. It must take a huge amount of work to maintain this house and grounds and to keep all of the building looking authentic. This is a great area of Billings and a neat area to explore. It has lots of old homes that look to have a great history. Most of the homes in the area are really well cared for. A great place for a summer bike ride.

Lindsey Lampe

Beautifully maintained historical home open to the public for tours and special events.

Tammie Holman

Great tour and tour guides. Lots of history that I didn't know about and I have lived here most of my lufe. Would love to be able to live in that house even today. The original furniture was amazing and I also would have liked to have that today. Especially the desk in Mr. Mosses den/office.

Jo Jj

This is a beautiful house and an amazing place to visit, worth every dollar of the $10.00 they charge! The tour guide was engaging and informative and the vast majority of the floors and wall coverings and furnishings were original. It almost feels like the spirits of the family are very much there still. Highly recommended. There is not a lot nearby to get refreshments so make sure you are not wanting lunch ! The gardens are lovely to sit in on a nice day and the historic walk which takes about half an hour is delightful.

April Pleskac

Went to the "insane asylum" themed haunted house at moss mansion, it was really fun.

Jessika Rice

I loved it here. They have done an amazing job with recreating the original house using original pieces. The entrance is through the basement. The only bad thing is the parking. Because of where they are located there is only street parking which is limited.

Deniz Nesrin

What a great venue for any kind of event - well preserved and much to offer!

Vanessa Miller

Johnny Earley

A historic center piece to Billings, MT. The Mansion hosts various events throughout the year but always with an eye on the community. Well maintained and knowledgeable staff make this an interesting and educational stop for tourist and local alike.

Dane Schmick

The house itself is really pretty and worth checking out, but the real gem is all the original pieces around the house that the family owned. It's just like stepping back in time! Well worth the price of admission!

Christopher Ross

Great staff lots of history

Barb Cooper

Beautiful home, well taken care of. A must-see when visiting Billings. I especially loved the the girls bedroom-so much detail. The grounds are gorgeous.

Penny Tirado

Was very disappointed with the service . They charge my daughter a hundred dollars to have be able to take pictures there they did not let her go in side to take pictures and had a big tent up and cars in the way so we where not able to get pictures of her with the holy building because other wise you would have a tent or cars in her senior photos .and when asked why did he pay a hundred dollars for they said it was a donation to keep the grounds nice. I would not recommend this place .

shannon higgins
