This Tourist Attraction belongs to the category of Toy museum.
The museum has an amazing number and variety of toys from all eras. However, it is poorly curated. The toys are all lumped together by type ... with various eras all mixed together. And there is little to no information provided for any of them. You just walk around admiring them and learning nothing. It should be called the World's Largest Toy Collection instead.
There was so much to see and so much nostalgia in this place! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable too. It was also nice to be able to come and go as you like. With three buildings full there is so much to see! We went through one building, then left for lunch and went back to see the rest!
Awsome! Brought back a lot of memories. Staff were very friendly
Great museum that brought back so many childhood memories. We spent several hours there going through the exhibits. The staff was friendly and very courteous. Thanks for the great visit!
Good place for memories lol. Had a few toys there that I had as a kid. The toys weren't in any real organization I guess was the main problem lol. Oh well, just my little OCD. He-Man isn't a wrestler, and Terminator isn't from the Star Wars lol. No problems though. I'd liked to have seen more of the 80's GiJoes. Good place really though.
wow so much toys.i remember seeing and playing with of toys and game over 40 years ago lol really nice
Was nice to see all the toys from the years! Had a great time!
It was great! We loved seeing all the old toys that help us remember our childhood! Makes me wish I was born in a different generation!
It's interesting, the problem is the size vs the amount of people in the museum. Very cramped. Tons of things to look at though! I feel as though I paid too much for the experience. Still, lots of cool stuff there!
Be ready to walk and spend a few hours in hete! There are 3 different buildings and we spent hours looking around! Enjoyable for all ages!
Every toy you could ever imagine is here and no matter what era you grew up in you will find something there to remember your childhood by
Cool place. Brought back a ton of memories of the toys we played with as a child. Also lots of toys I did not know existed. Fun couple hours poking around the displays
Toys that will take you back to those special years. Anything and everything a person could ever think of toy wise they have.
Toy museum was awesome!! Lots, and I mean LOTS of toys to look at! They have just about every toy ever in there! Its wonderful to walk g down memory lane! I've seen toys from my generation, and my parents generation! The museum is actually two buildings, upper and lower floors on both. Tons of side rooms to walk through. Parking is easy, right off the main street. Easy to find. Building has a lot of toys out front!
So much to see. Takes you back to simpler times.
Very nice! Awesome place to go!
Loved this place! Was hard to look at everything! It was fabulous! I saw some things that I had as a kid myself. I could stay there for hours! There's so much to see!
i found this museum very overwhelming and cluttered. theres so much stuff in a small space. if they had half as much stuff as they have it would still be too much. however, if you like seeing huge collections of stuff you would enjoy it. pretty good for kids and has some activities for them throughout the museum.
One of those places you alway say " I want to go in there" but never do, well we did and we are glad we did. Brought back lots of childhood memories, use your Groupon! It's 50%
Ghost Adventures tried to purchase antique toy for his investigation out of love of his heart. The Lady owner is a witch and would not sell any antique toy for the little kid spirit from Titanic Museum. She was very harsh and none understanding what this would mean to an innocent child spirit, Lady, you are COLD HEARTED. Someone else said this place is basically hoarders and that’s exactly what .i envisioned. Lady you could have worked with Zak Bagans, and permitted him to help a tiny child innocent spirit. Hard, cold heart.
LOTS and LOTS of toys and games! Too many in the main building, in my opinion. It was fun to go down memory lane, but the mention of trains was what brought us in and there was only one small area with running trains. Overall experience was positive, but I think it costs about twice as much as it should. My opinion...
It's so crazy to be flashed back into the past and see all the toys from your childhood over the years. The staff are super nice and helpful too
Looks fun but didnt personally want to pay $17 to see toys but maybe if cheaper or free with donation itd be worth checking out all the old toys...
Great collection of bb guns too
Very interesting place. Lots of older toys! The employees are super nice as well!
This place was lots of fun and well worth the price. There is so much to see here, you can easily spend the entire day looking at everything. They give you a wrist band so you can come and go as you please all day, so we were able to go eat and come back. The only thing that we would have liked to be different were the info cards on the displays. We wished there were more of them.
Unbelievable trip down memory lane. Saw many toys from my childhood and before. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Really fun stroll down memory Lane. The train club downstairs has every big kid's dream train sets. I found the tiny town with the Bukowski liquor store pretty witty. A collection of political buttons from FDR, Kennedy, Mcgovern, and more was pretty neat. I saw many of of the toys I had in the 60's and 70's, and some I had never seen before. A entire room devoted to checkers and you can sit and play a game if you want. A big Star Wars and Star Trek collection ..I was a trekkie. And worth the price of admission alone was the "Zolter Speaks" fortune teller where you get your very own fortune card to keep. I'm going to frame mine!
So many memories that came back. Very clean and friendly people. Loved it!
It was pretty cool, staff was nice, toys were fun to look at, even had some old riding ones for my two year old. I would give it 5 stars, however if seemed less of a museum and more of an antique shop. There wasn’t a ton of information on the toys, just a ton, I mean, a ton of toys. It got pretty overwhelming toward the end and a bit claustrophobic.
I can not recommend this place enough! The ticket is $19.99 and you might think that’s a little steep but, I was there for easily 2 1/2 hours so it’s definitely worth it! The staff I met downstairs were amazing they were two younger guys and they made the experience so much better with how friendly and kind they were. The museum consists of 3 sections and I think the building that that has the bear statue next to is is the best section overall even though that are all amazing! Take the time and make it here!!!!!!! 6 stars
Loved it! My Hubby and I walked both buildings with big smiles on our faces...what an excellent collection to behold here. I'm so glad we took the time to check it out.
I thought it was awesome . A of fun for my child as well .
The admission price on groupon was well worth it, but the second half of their museum was under construction with out any notice so we really missed out. Overall a great blast from the past.
Ok to kill a few hours, nothing I'd see a second time. They did have interactive bits and that was good.
Really enjoyed walking around with my kids and seeing toys I used to play with. Huge location. Really enjoyed my time here.
This toy museum huge. They have over 2 million toys to look at and purchase. The toys will take you back to your younger days. The people their are really friendly and polite.Great job, keep up the good work.
Lot of fun. Zillions of cool toys!!!
Great place! Highly recommend. Brought back lots of memories.
Overwhelming number of vintage and modern toys. Worth a visit. Saved a lot on tickets through Groupon.
We had a blast great for families to go recommend everyone to go here when you are in Branson mo
This is a wonderful place to visit for ages 0-100. Lots of childhood memories..
First time I had ever been to this museum. My wife and I took our granddaughters to it and they walked around amazed for hours. To be honest, I was pretty amazed too. I seen so many toys I had grown up with and had forgot about. It was really good to see so much work put in to preserving things that bring back memories like they did. Go see and have a good time. We did!
Loved it especially Humpty Dumpty n the bus
I was born in 1966 and found a few things from the 2.5 million toys that I remember. We did not spend hours in the museum, like other reviews suggested. I appreciated the Barbie collection and Star Wars. The place is packed with toys, so you are bound to see something to your liking. But, many of the toys are older toys from the 1940s and 1950s. I've attached a lot of photos to give you a feel for the place.
Such a fun place to visit. The kids loved it just as much as the adults. They have an amazing barbie collection.
Lovely collection of old toys, the descriptions are a bit lacking though.
Take your time and enjoy this amazing treasure trove toys! My 10 year was in awe! Lots of memories came back to me and I saw toys that I've never seen in person. The GI Joe collection is amazing!
There is so much more to see here than you can imagine. I had no idea that there are three different sections to this building and you can see it all for one price. Great for all ages!
Nostalgic walk down memory lane and showing some of our childhood to our kids. Was not suitable for a stroller to walk around.
For my trip down to Branson, I put this item on my possibility list since it had good reviews but after passing it yesterday and it says over 1 million toys, we decided to give them a try but I was so disappointed. I thought it would be a trip down my toy memory lane and although it was a couple of toys I had, the museum mostly consisted of a 2 items (dolls including Barbie, cars/trucks), the best part about the museum was the gift shop. I just wish the museum was more like the gift shop with toys that were popular throughout the years that kids really had. Avoid or visit the gift shop for free.
Extremely nice staff! Clean bathrooms. Loads and loads of toys. You have to see all 3 buildings. Also the train room with the conductors who explain everytging ( also give them a donation they deserve it.. I don't believe they our employed by the museum)
I loved this place. Lots of old toys I remember having and it was really cool and kinda creepy seeing toys people used to play with a long time ago. Staff was very friendly
Good place to visit and go down some historic lane of toys. Can't believe they had some toys when I was kid. Good place to spend hours just looking at the toys. The staff were very friendly and down to earth. Keep it up guys you rock.
It was full of good memories and neat stuff for all to see. Down fall isles to narrow, and NOT wheel chair friendly at all. Only there 30mins and my parents were upset with the place .. I enjoyed what I saw on the levels i could take them on...
Too hot to enjoy, air conditioner wasnt working properly, would have been nice to have been told at the door.
Awesome place! The entire family enjoyed it
I loved this place! The bottom train was cool! And it had a lot of old and cool toys!
My grandsons loved this place. Lots & lots to see!
Brought back wonderful memories from childhood! So much to look at!! My favorite was the chicken vending machine that laid eggs.
I kind of underestimated this place. I wasn’t really enthusiastic at first. My kids keep saying “creepy” each time we get past through old toys. But it was also an opportunity to educate them and kind of nostalgic to be able to see toys you played before and you cannot find anymore nowadays. It was a 2 complex trip plus underground level. Worth the money. I noticed they sell a lot of hotwheels and matchbox which i though hmm i wonder why.
Seeing all the toys brought back wonderful memories. All of the staff was wonderfully friendly!
Saw a whole lot of toys from my childhood take your kids they will love it
Wow! Millions of toys. Lots of childhood memories. If they can arrange the place properly the place will be more attractive.
A huge variety of collections, loans from private people, and a thrill to see. Staff allowed our next day return because we missed part of the exhibits.
A superb collection of all era's of toys neatly displayed
Holy nostalgia, Batman! This place is the greatest! The staff is very friendly and happy to be there and the amount of toys is astounding. I could spend an entire month there and still not see everything! Some major tips: 1. Plan to spend at LEAST 3 hours here reliving your childhood and squealing in excitement from all of the memories that you completely forgot about. 2. START WITH THE BUILDING AROUND THE CORNER ON THE RIGHT! It is THE building that is completely lined with toys and where you will spend most of your time gasping and squealing in joy.
Tons of toys, brings back a lot of memories. I think everyone will find something they, played with, & enjoy.
Dont buy hot wheels here! They use the highest prices from ebay and look them up on the spot. I dont need to pay over 1000% on a common car that they have over 10 of. They give a story that they buy peoples collections and pay top dollar but dont know the prices till they look them up on the spot. That tells me they buy large lots at pennies on the dollar. I didnt mind 3 for $10 on common cars espically when they had 10 plus of each of them. I returned what i had already bought. No good buys here on hotwheels folks, dont waste your time digging when you could pay their same top dollar from ebay. There are many places to buy and get good prices.
Great museum and brings back many memories
Definitely a go-to place if you want to relive your childhood... they have toys that I had forgotten existed :)
Excellent multiple museums, extra friendly and helpful staff
This was an interesting place to see. Our family enjoyed it.
This place is awesome! So many toys to look at. It will take you back to your childhood.
So many cool toys from years past. Lots to take in if you love toys and such.
Lot of the same toys over and over. Their were more older toys than anything, would have been better if they were organized in eras. Staff was super friendly though.
Amazing how many items they have. I was very surprised how much history is revealed through toys! Very worthwhile to go see.
I have never seen so many toys in one place in my entire life! It is definitely the world's largest toy museum! There are toys from every generation dating back to pre Revolutionary War times. Definitely worth the time and effort but make sure you plan at least 3 hours to see everything! Definitely a trip down memory lane! There are 2 buildings full of great stuff! Paul Harvey junior has a display in this facility of his childhood toys. There is also a very nice working train set in this facility.
Very cool BB gun museum/collection. Also enjoyed the many figure and doll museums over the years. You will be fascinated
Friendly people at the desks, and a huge collection of just about EVERYTHING under the sun. There's even a big section dedicated to classic westerns and vintage bb guns. A bit cramped in some areas simply because of the sheer amount of toys on display. Toys range from tiny microcars and crackerjack prizes to full kid sized riding toy cars. Something here for just about everyone, and the local model railway club in part of the lower section is really awesome, too.
A lot to see but need more Scooby-Doo.
Great place to walk down memory lane and see the toys of every generation. So many different toys you can easily walk through and miss something.
The model railroad display is the reason we went to the museum. The HO model was fantastic. We enjoyed talking to Roy about the display. He was knowledgeable and interesting to talk to. Great time!
Brings back memories. Fantastic inventory. Fun place to spend time.
This place was really cool my kids lived it!!
Its cool.. crazy priced for old toys but seeing it was great.. employees were amazing
Surprising amount of stuff in this museum. At first I was shocked that they didn't have an area for star wars. I was happy to find out the star wars section was in the second building.
Interesting but it's so huge and quiet that it got a bit boring. Museums usually are but I thought it might be more lively since it's toys but I'm glad we went there.
This place is pure magic, I LOVED the experience of traveling back in time w the toys✨
The amount of toys was amazing. Not as much interactive things for the younger kids.
Really great place to view old timey toys and feel really nostalgic
Very nice. Seen a lot of different toys. Some I can remember from my childhood. Very entertaining to say the least.
Lots to see. Staff is friendly and helpful. I think I could go through it again and see new things on top of what I've already seen. Very impressive collection. Only toys I didn't see were quints dolls and polly pockets. Lol.
First~. Really cool and very amusing, it was a trip down memory lane for sure! My kids all had a blast looking at all the toys we had grown up with vs the toys they have now days. Definitely was worth the visit. We all had a great time just disappointed that we didn’t get to do the 3rd part Second~the main section up top closes at 7pm, the other building with the BB guns closes at 6 and apparently the barn finds closes at 5pm... We purchased tickets up top and did that portion of the museum then left for another show thinking all of the museum would close at the same time, when we returned to finish the museum we started at the BB gun museum and then proceeded to the 3rd building only to find it was already closed.. All in all it was great.
Was a great place to visit. Many toy from our childhood. My grandchildren loved it.
$19 to essentially walk through a flea market. Yuck.
Nice displays. More for older people than children
Worth the visit. Give it minimum 3 hours to enjoy. Place is packed. Do all 3 museums. This is a trip down memory lane for me. I left drunk of sensory overload. Long-term they need a bigger building.
