A very large community cemetery, very well kept in a beautiful setting above the Mississippi River bluff. Quiet. The office located through gate 3 is staffed by very competent friendly and helpful folks. They can help you find and grave site especially if you have the name and decade of death. I hve only visited a couple of times in the last 20 years and it is a timeless place.

We took an audio tour of the cemetery which uses a CD inserted into your cars CD player. The CD guides the visitor throughout the cemetery to numbered locations, giving a brief history of the person buried. It is well narrated and a good way to learn more about the city of Natchez. The cemetery is peaceful and full of history.

I think that there is so much beauty and peacefulness to cemeteries like this one! The monuments are amazing historical pieces and the grounds are well kept!! These monuments are to be seen and appreciated and i thouroughly enjoy their historical value!!!!

A must see when in Natchez. A beautiful, quiet place. Stop by the cemetery office and get a map then enjoy every stop. Amazing stories and beautiful old gravesites will captivate you. The lanes are narrow but we had no trouble maneuvering through. Go check out this historic treasure!
