REVIEWS OF SEA LIFE at Mall of America IN Minnesota

My kids LOVED this. Totally worth the effort to go and see! The tubes underwater were SO cool (but loud-- bring ear protection if that's something that bothers your kiddo!) my 2.5 year old who is typically super unimpressed with the zoo was in heaven watching all the fish. When we to go back I'll do so with a glow sticks pinned to his front and back and let him get out of the stroller to look around. They even offered a Veteran discount which was so gracious and generous! Park on the East side of the Mall, take the garage elevator to the main level, walk across the little street, inside the doors and Sea Life is on your right. You purchase your tickets downstairs and they're good for multiple trips throughout the day. We went on a Wednesday at opening time, and the only downside was the summer group of kids that came and clogged up the rain forest part and shouted in the underwater tubes. Otherwise the displays were lovely-- my kids loved the sea horses! There is an elevator for strollers if your kids are really small, but be prepared for the touch-pool at the end of the tour, and a couple locations where the kids can crawl into a bubble dome and look at animals from "inside" to the display-- one at the beginning in the Amazon exhibit, and another at the end with clownfish and a coral reef. Only thing I disliked is that they funnel you straight through the gift shop before you can exit. ...but I'm still taking the kids back the next time I'm in MN.

Sea Life was interesting to go through. There were a few coloured frogs that I haven't seen before which were really cool and there were lots of fish. One part there is a walkway going underneath water and you can see sharks on either side or even above you. There were also some jellyfish which were amazing but once you get to the ones in the tubes it's a little bit hard to see.

Micky Wunderlich

It wasn't as big as I thought it was but we were able to go back through it again to make it worth it. Very cool to see sharks and Minnesota fish up close and under them! We even got to touch some creatures that I didn't even know existed!

Mariana Kikuti

Not worth it. Very expensive for too few attractions. Corridors are too narrow which makes walking and seeing some tanks nearly impossible when crowded. I also whish they would have more staff educating the crowd which was taping on the glasses and blocking the corridors. Very disappointing. For this ticket price you will have a much better experience at the Minneapolis Zoo.

Abel Bain

It was a good time! It was really neat to see the fish, but I wish that I wasn't felt like I was rushed through. This is perfect for children, but not perfect for a date with your girlfriend. I might come again when they open the Amazon exhibit. Overall a really great place and I might come here with my kids in the future, but not for a date. Although if you want to eat and do stuff in the mall that could be a quick fun stop.

Larry Zielke

Fun aquarium. A must is the private tour. Our guide Phil was the BEST! If you take a behind the scenes tour, ask for Phil. It was really cool to see how they care for the tanks and get to go above to see the regular day to day. Plus the big sea turtles come up to say hi! Pretty Cool!!

Zachary DeHenes

Poor value for the money. Very clean and easy to navigate. Friendly staff with a lot of knowledge.

jared carlson

Went snorkeling with my son and had a great time. The people working did an awesome job

Eldon Millsap

The aquarium tunnel was very exciting! Having the sea animals swimming above you is such a unique experience. It's a fun experience for all ages.

Vishwanath pandeya

It's wonderful experience seeing aquatic creatures. It has both fresh water and sea water creatures. I liked the rain forest theme. With sound and other effects it gives you real world experience.

Brandon Blomberg

The vip tickets were underwhelming but worth it if you order online for the cheaper price. You can walk back inside all day. Learned alot of things. Altogether worth it if you order online.

J P

What a treasure! We had so much fun going through this mini aquarium. Kids get a "passport" to take with them and earn stamps throughout the exhibit. Turn in the passport at the end for a cute prize. The displays were stunning, the animals well cared for, lots of fun facts and introductions were on every wall. In the middle of the exhibit is a Lego play area to stop for a break. Our kids absolutely loved this place and so did I. Tip: if you know soneone who has been recently, ask for their ticket stub! There's a coupon on back for up to 10 people. We saved $21 because I found a discarded ticket stub on the ground.

Alex

Amazing views of fresh and salt water fish, sharks, rays, and turtles. The new rainforest exhibit is a lot of fun too. The animals seem healthy, respected, and well cared for. It's great for kids and is easily our daughter's favorite place to go in the MOA.

Autum Harrington

A lovely experience. We go during the summer to escape the heat. Call ahead of time to check when feeding times are it makes the experience all the more thrilling. Lovely staff that are friendly and eager to share information on all of the sea life. There are stamps at each exhibit for the kids to collect.

Meghan Bohland

Over priced at retail. Look online- there is always a coupon for something off. Teachers can get an annual pass really cheap. Kids under 2 are free. Fun once inside, just not very long. Young kids love it, slightly older kids may be a bit bored. If your claustrophobic do not go in! Its a smaller area once in. Kids love the jelly fish area plus many different places to take pictures. Annual membership are good if you plan to go often. We only go once every couple of years.

Paranormal Society

Wonderful aquarium with something for the entire family. What you experience here is incredible and the animals are super interactive. The staff is also super friendly and very helpful when it comes to walking thru this place. It is my go to at the mall of america. The attraction is a once in a lifetime experience.

Tracy Tomko

Super cool I really like the walk through glass tunnel where sharks can swim right over you! It was neat.

Penny Arcos

Our BTS tour guide , Susan, was very interactive and welcoming. I brought my family and my neighbors who homeschool. The Lego building competition wittj scuba divers was a fun treat even for my 17-yr-old son who purchased an annual pass. My 79-yr-old mom enjoyed sipping Seattle's Best coffee in Beluga Bay and admiring the sting rays below.

Callan Korpi

The jellyfish portion of the sealife aquarium used to be amazing a couple years ago. Most of the jellyfish aquariums have now been replaced with bright, distracting lego jellyfish and the experience of being seemingly surrounded (mirrors) by an endless ocean of jellyfish has been cheapened. I had been talking this place up to people the last couple of years. I went excited. I left disappointed. The tunnel aquarium portions are still wonderful. I unfortunately came with the jellyfish specifically in mind.

Erika Schroeder

Small but perfect. The staff really seem to know and love their creatures, and the place is well maintained and was a super fun experience!

Justin Johnson

The walk though is pretty sweet lots of cool fish. Pretty spendy for what you get though. Make sure you grab a coupon that are posted around the mall in various locations it will save you 10 bucks.

Garron Tanner

This was my first time at the Sea Life. It was absolutely fantastic. The tour guides were helping me understand more about the sea life and plants. They included me on everything, along with the large number of children coming from one or two of the schools.

James Kiefert II

It has changed since we were there 22 years ago. There used to be touching of the sharks and Ray's. Now you can touch the sea urchins and star fish. We also enjoyed the tunnels where you can see the fish from the sea floor. We are planning to go back and bring our niece.

TPersellin

nice 180 degree clear walk thru aquarium with lots of BIG fish swimming about - neat enclosures that you can crawl into and pop your head into the actual aquarium area with fish and cayman right up to the glass you are surrounded by - the anemone exhibit (where you can actually touch the anemone) is pretty awesome too!!

DJ W

It was so neat and very fun. You get to see the animals up so close!!!! I really recommend that if you have the time to go and do this. You will not be disappointed. I can't wait to bring my niece's with us next time.

Rajitha Chimmani

Great experience and good variety of fish. Underwater creatures are always fun to watch. Sharks, turtles, stingrays different types and sizes. With peaceful background music as you pass through the shed. There will be voice shows at specific times that you can listen to as you walk if you are interested. There was a separate section where some corals were arranged and visitors were allowed to touch them which I did not like personally.

Sarah Bustrom

It was fun. My 14 month old loved seeing all the fish. Tons to see. The behind the scenes tour was sort of boring, except going above the tanks on the "cat walk" and seeing them from above. I'd recommend not going on a Saturday afternoon, it was PACKED.

Andy L

This place is great for kids and families! I can't remember the price but it was most likely reasonable or I wouldn't have taken our large family. Lots of fun and well worth a trip.

Chuck B

I've been here a few times and I'm happy to find out that aquariums still wow me, I just really enjoy the experience.

Steve Moran

It was nice, it did have aquatic species and it was pleasant. We went to the aquarium in Denver 3 weeks ago and hands down, that was worth going to again. Once here was enough. It is fine if you can't travel but very much a let down in comparison to the Omaha Zoo or the Denver aquarium.

tam stice

Wonderful fun. So many rays you can touch. Squid tanks that glow in darkened room. Shark swimming all around you as you walk through. Great value for the whole family.

Megan Krause

Loved seeing all the cool fish and sea creatures! Touching sea creatures was pretty cool too!

epsman96

Nothing can be beat when it comes to one of the greatest indoor aquariums in Minnesota. Overall, you definitely get what you pay for (about $25) when you tour this place. Staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to …

John Guertin

A very fun time with the family. My young kids were never bored. Prices are a bit high. Over $70 for 4 of us to get in and that was also with a coupon. If prices are going to be that high I feel more should be offered. With all that being said... It's worth going through at least once.

Luna Campbell

So relaxing seeing all the wonderful sea life, family friendly make sure you visit this attractive on your visit to mall of America.

Deanna Turnbaugh

The manager that help us was awesome. We were giving wrong info about getting a discount through another membership and was nice enough to give us 50% off our tickets. After insisting we went in at that rate in help me realize that their are generally good people in the world that still are willing to go above and beyond customer service duties and do something nice for you and your family. God bless you talk dark and kind manager or sea life. I never got your name!

Skylarae

I've been to a few aquariums so my expectations of this place were pretty low. I was blown away! The overhead aquarium was awesome! There was a great variety of large fish and sharks and stingrays. I've been to aquariums that cost much more than this one and offered way less. It would have been cool to see some octopuses, other than that it was a super cool experience for a reasonable price.

Mike L

I have been here one time before and it never fails to impress. The staff is super friendly and the exhibits are top notch! Highly recommend!

Alice Kester

We did the behind the scenes tour. It was fantastic to learn all about it. If you get the chance take the tour

Annie McPherson

Love the aquarium. Great for all ages. Having the sea animals swimming above you is such a unique experience.

Kayla Dill

My kids had a blast but I'm not sure it was worth the price. Very pricey. They also had long lines to get in and not enough staff working. If going after 1, expect long lines to purchase tickets.

Verna M Campbell

Very interesting and lots if beautiful things to see. It is a good learning experience for kids.

Karina Marin

Great to come with the kids. They have soo much fun here. Also if your kids school plan a field trip. They get like a private class where they explain about animals. Nice and enjoyable place to come. They have from small fish to the big sharks. Very impressive!!

Joann Stewart

We were hesitant to go because of reviews that it was overpriced for what you get. Our 9 year old really wanted to go, so we gave in. Fortunately, we found a discount code online that saved us 40%. Our 9 year old and 4 year old absolutely loved it. As parents, we even thought it was amazing to see the sharks, turtles, etc. in the tunnel. I think we moved through in about 30 minutes. We got to the end and thought, that’s it? Do I regret going? No. But I would move slower through everything next time. In the tunnel, you almost feel pushed to move quickly because of people behind you. My best advice is to let people pass you and take your time!

Jiss Jacob Sebastian

I visited Sea life two times so far. I will visit again, if I get a chance. Really enjoyed the experience.

Kourtney Prescher

We bought the VIP Experience, and had a great time. Our group from 3yrs old to 74, loved our guide Phil. He had so much knowledge of all the exhibits and animals. You could tell that he had a real love of his job. We loved learning about their diets, feeding procedures and personalities!

Miranda Danforth

Not a huge attraction but it was something super fun to do with the family while at the mall! We all loved seeing the different water creatures they had in the aquariums and the kids LOVED getting to touch the sea stars and anemones!

Bri Raz

Awesome place to take this kids or for a nice quiet time with your significant other. If you get a Dive Log book, you get a free prize from the gift shop for getting a stamp from each dive station.

Kimberly Finnell

Magical experience! We've been here with kids aged between 4 & 14; everyone (including the adults) was awestruck & enthralled. There is enough educational opportunity to satisfy the older kids & adults without any "forced education" to bore the little ones. You feel up close & personal with the sea life. Highly recommended!

HEMLATA PATEL

One of the best aquarium I have ever seen. Must visit place for kids and everyone.

Kyle Peetz

Nice aquarium. Definitely geared more toward children, but as an adult I enjoyed the 3 large tunnels of aquatic viewing. Get there early when it opens on a week day to avoid crowds and loud obnoxious children.

J.A. Vb

Lots of fun! Has a scavenger hunt for a prize. Has a Lego building room. Lots of cool sea life animals.

Erica Anderson

Nice aquarium but I get more for my money at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago.

Brittany Stafford

Too short. What they had was cool but I don't think we even spent an hour in there.

Diana Rodriguez

We always have a blast here. We have a family pass and our kids love it. We also take people there when they visit from out of town and they enjoy the tunnel!

jen jd

Worth the money & our tour was a amazing person her name was Noelle thank you from Chicago

Ella Perry

My sister and I visited on a rainy Sunday. She'd never been there before, and it had been 16 years since my last visit. We had a lot of fun watching the various species swim all around us, and my sister took some amazing pictures. I would absolutely recommend visiting this place if you're at the Mall of America. It was fully accessible for my power wheelchair, too. People with disabilities as well as those pushing strollers will have no difficulty navigating the exhibit.

Casey Wright

Great fun. Kids and adults love it. It is a little spendy, but a great experience.

Chuck Bouwma

Lots of fun and we went through it 2 times as the pass is for all day

Jackie Marler

A driver, my son and I were on a layover. It was there first time at the mall of America. We really enjoyed Sea Life. The three of us had a really good time that day.

Guy SunRhodes

My kids loved it so much especially with them loving that

Tori Rose

Shorter than i remember it but they had some awesome music playing in the tunnels that really set the mood

Megan Kraft

My husband and I had such a good time here today. We did the Behind the Scenes tour with Jenna and it was awesome. She was very educational, charming, and had answers to all our questions. Every employee we ran into was so polite and welcoming. It was very clean and beautifully designed. We ended up going through 3 times. Highly recommend :)

Susan Pfordresher

What a fantastic aquarium! Very cool to be able to walk through the tunnels and see everything swimming around you.

J Kup

Very cool, always wanted to go in a tunnel like that. Very long wait on a Saturday. Thankfully once we got a quarter the way through the crowd spread out a bit. Friendly staff (unless you decline a picture then they are disappoint) sharks/rays were cool, I like turtles. Seems like it's air-conditioned in the tunnel which was nice but I'm sure it's more to keep the water at the right temp for the fishes. Find out a slow time to go then hit it up.

Charlie Bagodonuts

I loved it, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very affordable and well worth it. Thank you for a great experience, I'll go every time I come into town!

David S

Had a lot of fun with the grandkid here. Nice setup, gets you close to the sea life. Could be longer but understandable. I feel like the actual retail price of admission is way too high at $26 for an adult. Glad I found online ticket for $15.

Kasey

Pretty neat aquarium! For all that you get, it's really not a bad price. I went on the VIP experience and had an amazing time. Staff were happy to answer any questions you had and were very attentive. Animals have top notch care and are adorable.

Eric Schneider

Overpriced. Unorganized. Close quarters. Incredibly crowded. The attraction is only 35 minutes long. You can see that animals that aren’t fish are incredibly stressed, such as the Caiman and Sea Turtles. Kids are banging on the glass, …

donald Zellers

Honestly I am surprised it doesnt cost more to enter here! 25.99 for an adult ticket. The best part is the clear tunnel under the aquarium that you walk through and get to see all the sea creatures, which they have a large variety of! Some of them like to lay on top of the tunnel which gives you a really up close look. I highly recommend visiting if you are already in the mall.

Nicola Zeien

Get the membership on black Friday to make the experience worthwhile! Day rates are a total rip off, but the black Friday membership cost pays itself off in two visits. We visit frequently throughout the year, it breaks up a shopping trip and is great in inclement weather! The new rainforest feature is a fun new addition for the kids!

Crystal Wachter

Over all it was a good experience. There are usually coupons available that make this more affordable for families. Being that it was in the Mall of America it was pretty busy so if you don't like crowds this probably isn't the place for you. When we 1st entered it was pretty dark and narrow and it was hard to stop and look at anything because there were so many people behind us that we're also trying to walk down the path and look at things as well. I wish we had more time to look and didn't have to keep moving. It is especially crowded with strollers. Once we got to the underwater area it was pretty amazing. It was beautiful to see all of the creatures as if we were under the sea! There was a really good variety of different creatures as well. Again, pretty dark here as well, so photos don't turn out so well. The gift shop was nice there were a lot of things to choose from. At the end there was an opportunity to have some hands on anenomies, But we were disappointed that the children could not actually touch the sting rays. Or anything else. Over all it was a pretty good experience and we would probably go back.

Jessica Anderson

Such a great place to take young kids. I recommend going during the week to avoid crowds, and plan to spend just an hour or two at these exhibits. Be aware that the new rainforest exhibit can be scary for young kids who don't like thunderstorms, and the overall volume can be too much for kids with sensory sensitivities.

Rebecca Mittelstaedt

This is a great venue: very well done but in my opinion way too expensive.

Jared King

This is a great place to take family friends and children who like the ocean and sealife

Brin E

I've been going for years and It keeps getting better. Not only do they have exotic fish, sharks, sea turtles, and fish from our very own lake, but also dartmouth frogs, camen, and cockroaches. A great place to bring kids of all ages.

Gabrielle Cook

The Sea Life at the Mall of America was great for kids and adults depending on your interests. The staff is super friendly and I highly advise going to the behind the scenes, even though it has an extra cost to get in. If you go I hope you have a great time.

JRob Zetelumen

It's a lot of fun. The stingrays are so playful. The jellyfish are so beautiful. It's bizarre to be that close to a shark and not terrified. It's so bizarre that such an impressive aquarium is in the basement of a mall. I love that children get to interact with these creatures, and see them as more than just something that they see on television

Steven J. Adelmund

Fantastic experience completely unexpected! Very educational, friendly staff, extremely unique experience! Grates for kids of all ages, and adults alike! Encourages kids to ask questions about sea life and conservationism, and teaches them about all kinds of marine life! Worth every dollar of the price of admission!! This is truly one of the best experiences at Mall of America!

latoye jones

Very interesting and educational. The kids enjoyed it.

Danyelle Bergeson

If you live out of state you pay a large extra amount for tickets. If you show YOUR MN ID WITH MN ADDRESS you get a DISCOUNT on ALL TICKET PRICES. I gave a low rating because of the out of state price differences and the fact that I paid 90 bucks for my wife and two kids to go and was done in less then half an hour. I feel there should be more for what you pay.

Kurtis Amundson

We had a great time as a family visiting Sea Life. The number of exhibits was smaller than I expected but it was still a great experience. The rain forest path was really dark and those with poor vision may have difficulty navigating the walkway. We took our eight-month-old daughter and she really enjoyed seeing the fish — especially those in the coral reef aquarium. It was exciting to see her face light up at the beauty of the ocean.

Charlotte BolthouseBartelt

Waste of money. Smaller than Shedd aquarium in Chicago or Newport in Lexington or any other actual aquarium but just as expensive. It says it's accessible but tiny hallways make it hard to move for an able bodied person let alone a wheelchair. The entire place is super dark. My daughter is visually impaired and cried the entire time because she couldn't see where she was. There is no info on the website saying that someone who is VI would need a guide and with the darkness and the tiny hallways a white cane wouldn't be enough to navigate this place safely. Inaccessible and overpriced.

Jessie Murray

This was a neat lil get away experience at MOA! Fun for family or all ages, Sealife and other Native Freshwater fishes were great to view in the underwater tunnels!!

Peyton Aderman

Awesome place for both kids and adults including those of us without children. Everyone was friendly and it was an awesome experience, worth the price

Laura Lepard

My son liked it but it has changed over the years and doesn't really have much of a see life petting zoo anymore.

aknode27 knode

My kids loved the aquarium! The staff are knowledgeable about the sea life living here, the are so nice and caring! I loved how peaceful it is, and my children loved that they got touch real sea creatures!

Stephanie Simmons

Great experience! Tip: bring your Ikea card for a 40% discount! Great fun and a cool one of a kind experience!

Joseph Boike

There are some cool parts of Sea Life at the Mall of America. The under water part is cool but short. You can interact with only one tank at the end without paying more. Once you pay you can go back as many times as you like for the day. One drawback in the underwater parts, screaming is amplified and there are always kids screaming in there. There are also a few areas to draw and play with Legos to help pass the time.

Laura Knaggs

Wonderful place for afukts and children. Recommend behind the scenes, very informative and up close and personal.

E T

Very fun for the little ones and for me! Just wish it was longer! They did a good job with their renovation too!

Logan Lundeen

This is a very fun exciting thing to do. There's average aquariums where you can touch the fish, then there's crazy things to touch and see like sting Ray's. Shark tanks, certain themed areas of jelly fish, seahorses, and octopuses. And rainforest fish.... Probably my least favorite part but it's still decent. The best part though ... Is the aquarium of pretty much everything from sharks to crabs in a giant tank above you, and on either side of you. Your basically walking through best ocean ever. This is another great thing at the mall and are looking for the top things to do there, this is defiently on thing to do with Nickelodeon universe.

Amber K

Beautiful and great variety, and several learning opportunity throughout. You can feed the sting rays, touch the sea anemones, and walk under a 300ft long tunnel split into different sections. We took the tour and it was great, the tour guide did fantastic and the kids loved it. You get to see so much more of the aquarium and it's well worth the learning experience. Highly recommend! They take care of their animals very well, and everyone is clearly happy to be working there.

Andru Anderson

On a vacation, the family wanted to go here. We bought single day passes and we're super happy we did. It allowed my wife to shop without the kiddo. She greatly appreciated the time.

John Dick

Great place to take the kids. Knowledgeable and friendly staff and reasonably priced.

Raji

We went there for two times... You can go and see once, if you think that's not worth for the money... Pls visit Behind-the-Scenes tours too ...and then decide how they are keep doing all these behind the scenes... Our favorites were jellyfish and stingray... And my kids loves to do stamping..

SUPAKARROOOOOOOM

Never been in but I love when I'm going to the MOA I see so many happy kids and parents on they're way to see some wild sea life. The albino sting Ray's bring you right in. Fun.

Nick Denstad

A fun adventure for all ages. The sea life was very entertaining. I've been to other "water tunnels" before, this one definitely wins.

Lcat RN

Loved the design and variety of aquatic animals. It was beautiful. Not to miss! Enjoyed ourselves and would go again. Only thing is that there were some loud kids that went behind us the entire time and I don't see how the place doesn't have quiet please listed on it. It seems like the voices would carry and irritate the fish.

Vladyslav Smotrytskyy

Wow. This place is amazing. Soo many kinds of fishes I've never seen in my life. 27$ pass, but it is worth every penny.

Troy Johnson

Super fun... Perfect for kids... I loved it and I'm 17...

Chelsea Laurn

Neat place. Got to sea (

Dawn Cain

Took my girl scout troop here for an overnight. This was my third time. Previous trips were incredible! The girls learned a ton and had a blast. I was severely disappointed this time however. The whole thing was chaos and a disaster. $70 per person. We got VERY little time to explore the tunnels. When we did, the groups were oversized and we couldn’t hear the guides at all. They try to get too many guests in the overnight groups and try to pack too many things into too short a time. The whole thing was loud and rushed beyond belief. I don’t feel like my girls got to learn nearly as much as my previous troop did and I wish they hadn’t changed it. I had half the girls this time so I feel it should have been the opposite result. The staff is very patient and kind though which was great.

nick gierke

This place is really cool. The tunnel you walk through under water is amazing, and it is very children friendly. However, it cost just my girlfriend and I 57$ to walk through this. Which after we saw everything and took pictures it was only about 35-45 minutes. The price they charge per adult is $25.99, and for a child is $18.99. I would easily give 4 or even 5 stars if they knocked down their prices. This is Ridiculously expensive, and for the same prices I could have taken My son and Girlfriend to the zoo for a whole day + lunch.

Jennifer Barshack

Always love Sea Life - it’s so important to have opportunities to see living creatures up close. It’s so beautiful and peaceful watching all the underwater activities. Really great that they offer touching some of the smaller creatures too! Fun for the whole family.

Rebecca Lee

This place is an excellent way to spend the day with family. It's whimsical and fun! I take my daughter here every year.

De Col

I was amazed at all the details that went into creating and designing such a beautiful Aquarium. It's quite extraordinary.

Katie Jendro

A tip: if you want to shop at the sealife store without paying admission just ask the staff and they will help you to get to the store. This is a good idea for parents who just can't possibly stand by and watch while their children hymm and hah about what to get....just tell them you can come back another day but only to the shop! Bonus... You still get to walk by the stingray pond.

Jeri C

The aquarium tunnel was very exciting! You feel so close to the fish all around you that it almost feels interactive. They have a large collection of various types of fish including sharks. It's a fun experience for all ages.

Jess Colopy

Much like the other entertainment in the mall, this experience is truly only worth it if you buy an entertainment package or use another discount. It took us less than 30 minutes to do- slowly. Highlights included getting to buy shrimp to feed rays and the 300 foot ocean tube- but the thing is, the 300 foot tube is pretty much the entire aquarium. There's a few small displays after that- some jellyfish and one themed after "Nemo," and a rainforest area you walk through with some insects and tree frogs. That's it. When they advertised the ocean tube, we thought it would be a highlight, not the whole thing. It was cool, but the fact that ALL of the glass in the aquarium, even the none tube displays, was curved... was honestly a little nauseating. It's a fun place to see and they have some special animals, like Duchess the Saw Fish, but don't pay the full entry fee.

Cassie Ellis

Very neat aquarium. We went early when it open had no crowd. The family had a blast here and enjoyed all the exhibits. Love the tunnels under the fish and sharks. Kids loved getting right up close to see them. Did the sea life and Nickelodeon combo package and that worked out great for us.

scotty carony

Exceptional considering its location is inside a mall, you wouldn't expect to find this level of quality in a place like this. I've traveled and seen several zoo's and aquariums, but the underwater tunnel here alone makes my top 10. Excellent staff are helpful and informative the entire way through.

Grace Junio

Sea Life did not meet my expectations. I've seen other aquariums and this one bore me. Overpriced for the experience. The only thing I liked was touching the stingrays.

Rosalind Chambers

Located in the Mall of America. Reasonable price for an underground aquarium. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of marine life andhow inviting it felt. It seemed to continually unfold. This is great for kids and adults. I …

Glenn Booker

Fun place to bring out of town relatives. Children love the tour.

Veronica Marchan

This is. Great place to bring the kids. They can actually interact with some of the exhibits and touch the anemones. Pretty cool!

Leslie Swensen

Been more than once. It's okay, but wouldn't go again. It's not only expensive, but there's not that much to do once you've been there once or gone through the main attraction on a moving walkway. I encourage you to step off and enjoy every moment before they whisk you through the small underwater tunnel.

Shade B

Absolutely love this aquarium. The behind the scenes tour is 100% worth it!

Bintu Moriba

My kids love this place. So much fun.

Ken Pike

The cost is outrageous for a 30 minute exhibit. I won't be back and I can't recommend anyone visit unless you hate your money.

Sea Life is an amazing place to visit. If you only have time for one attraction, this is the one to see. Kids LOVE it.

Cody Ross

I love that Mall of America has an aquarium below it. The first day I went to the mall I never knew I was walking above sharks and turtles. It's cheap but if you pay an extra 5 or so dollars you get a tour of the place. I had a great time at it

Stephanie Williams

This is the very first thing you should take a tour of, when visiting MOA. This place is amazing!

We were guests at a birthday party today and had a great time! We got a behind the scenes tour and our guides, Garret and girl (I didn’t catch her name) were awesome. I was really impressed with their knowledge and how well they interacted with the kids. You are lucky to have such great people on your team! The kids loved the aquarium and we all had so much fun!

Jen Wolf

Wait time was long but neat to see all of the sea life....especially in the overhead tunnels.

Joshua Hendrickson

Oddly magical, brilliantly curates. Alone a great reason to visit the mall

Sea Life is incredible. They have sharks, sea turtles, jellyfish, and so much more. Walking under the fish is amazing and seeing all of the fish swimming around is fun. There's also a cool gift shop at the end. Its definitely a tourist spot I will visit every time I'm in the MOA.

Jennifer Turner

Fantastic! We got the behind the scenes tour, got to touch sting rays and the gift shop has neat souvenirs. The coolest thing is going through the tunnels in the aquarium with sharks and other sea life swimming above your head!

Sharla Kraft

We love Mall Of America...Sealife is great. We always have a good time when we go there

Robert Marberry

Beautiful display of sea life but overpriced and almost feel sad for the aquatic life stuck in those small aquariums. Got a hundred amazing pictures and we had fun. Really amazed actually but just that nagging thought about how your wallet is empty to get 3 people in and then the treatment of the animals that never leave those little tanks.

Barbara Vang

This place has definitely changed in the last 3 years. The tunnels are more clearer to view the animals.

Yoseph Gebrewold

A very lovely place to visit. I like the architectural works.

Robert MacAlister

It was a great experience. I found out they do more than just the aquarium, they put a lot of effort into saving wildlife efforts.

Sarah Akins

Sea Life is always fun. You get to walk under the water and see all the amazing fish, feed stingrays (for an additional fee) and pet sea anenomes. I'm taking off a star because the tropical area was closed off due to remodeling and they didn't discount the tickets or even let us know before purchasing. The behind the scenes tour was pretty cool and I would definitely recommend it.

Sarah Rickert

We enjoyed the new layout. The observation tubes are a fun addition and I like a lot of the neat, new interactive parts. I have a new appreciation for the millepied and I had no idea how vicious the woebegong shark's teeth were. Be sure to check out the live coral tank. They need more info about all the different kinds of coral (and fish) in there. We were sad to hear they lost their octopus and we missed seeing the chocolate chip sea stars, but we loved seeing the anemones being fed.

Elizabeth Busacker

Friendly staff and fun place, but it doesn't take much time to go through, especially if it's not busy. It is expensive and we opted for the membership which I would say isn't worth it. It take us maybe 10 minutes to go through because nothing really changes unless they're having an event like Legos or mermaids.

Josh Morales

Good place for families to look at different sea life from around the world. They is even a scavenger hunt for young kids. If you have the opportunity to view a freeing session, that is a pretty good experience

Top notch service, waitress was superb and valet was excellent. Would highly recommend to anyone.
