Here you have all the reviews of real people who purchased the products of Minnesota State Capitol (Tourist Attraction) around Minnesota area.
Nowadays the business receives a score of 4.6 stars over 5 and that score is based on 186 reviews.
You must have seen that it has an average rating is almost the best, and it's based on a very large number of scores, so we can conclude that the valuation is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to value when they are happy with the business, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to place reviews when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Tourist Attraction is included in the category of State government office.
Take the guided tour! Ask for Jacob the tour guide! He's super knowledgeable but also super excited to share his knowledge and the history of the building and minnesota! He was excellent! Very beautiful cap bldg!
We did a self guided tour here after getting the boys state capitol books stamped. Although we have seen the building prior from the outside, this was our first trip inside. We we're lucky enough to meet a young lady that allowed us up to the speaker's seat in the Representatives section! We just had to make sure the boys didn't slam the gavel down
Beautiful place to visit!
The renovated capitol is so worth the time to visit. Our family of five took the free 45-minute tour and it was enjoyed by all of us - adults and teenagers. The history and artwork depicted throughout the capitol building is very impressive. We really loved the Civil War paintings in the Governor's reception room and the paintings in the Supreme Court chambers. Recommend to start with a tour and then take a self-guided tour to enjoy the paintings, history and sculptures on all floors at your own pace.
Went on a tour here a few years ago! Very impressive building! Spectacular architecture for our own state capital!
We did the hour long guided walking tour of the Minnesota State Capitol and we really liked it. The building is very well maintained - even though it is more than 100 years old, it looks very new! Cool part of the building is the statue "Progress of the State" at the dome of the capitol building, and you get to go close to the statue during the walking tour of the building.
Usually great tours and time outside for food.
This is a great capitol to your. After having visited 40 other capitols, Minnesota's makes it in the top ten best capitols to visit. The tour guide was great and we learned a lot. Other staff was friendly and suggested things to do in the area. We parked for free on the far side of Sears (street parking) for free and walked a few blocks in. The coolest part was going on the roof!
This experience.. Was 1
The building is awesome, free tour with fantastic tour guide. Highly recommended
There are so many things to see and appreciate in this most beautiful of public buildings. Take your time (take a tour!) and really immerse yourself in the experience. (the basement level is a hidden gem.)
This place looks even more beautiful after the renovations. Awesome tours and tour guides, that give you very real and honest information. Great for a Sunday afternoon escape from the heat and a walk into the past.
The inside/outside of the MN Capitol is great looking. But the knuckleheads who work here (mainly the dem.'s) don't know how state and federal government works.
Went to the open house for the new renovations that were just compleyed, a must see. One of the nicest capital buildings in the U.S. and I have seen most of them.
Beautiful building and worthy of Minnesotans. The recent rehab has brought the building back to its beautiful splendor. Make sure to check out the Rathskeller and the Quadriga!
Beautiful front lawn, little if any tourists, I love this place.
Loved the tour
Beautiful! I took part to the free walking tour: the guide was very clear and prepared!
Fantastic renovation. We got a free guided tour, so much history to see!
Just a beautiful building especially after the renovation! Nice job!
Road trip! This is the fourth state Capitol we have visited on this road trip and ranks as one of the most beautiful we have seen. The tour is only about 45 minutes, but you are free to roam most of the building and see spaces not included on the tour. The guides are all volunteers and know a great deal about the building and state history as well. They recently underwent an expensive and extensive renovation program and it shows well. I highly recommend a visit to this historic building if you are in the area.
Great tour by one of the local MNHS members. The restoration of building eas immaculately done!!!
There’s free tours that are very cool. Highly recommend it!
Great place!
Very bad service drove 50 miles for a part got told they had my part for 75.00 and when I got here it was missing parts and wanted more money for the same thing with it all the same thing
breathtaking!! love this place!
Must see place in Minneapolis
The dome is inspired by the dome of St. Peter's basilica, a fitting tribute to another giant of the Catholic faith. The building offers tours and is a great place to visit. You can great stunning views of the city from the dome.
Beuatiful architecture and informative free tours.

I went here for a field trip for the last week of 5th grade and the tour was entertaining so I went home that day with a smile on my face.
A friendly information and security staff help make exploration of this beautiful building a joy! Parking does leave a bit to be desired, but it's a major city, so it's to be expected.
Beautiful place to visit (and free). There are lots of plaques to read and beautiful art to look at.
Great place to walk through and tour.
I actually came here a while ago, maybe like several years ago because there were some renovations going on. Overall it is a very beautiful building, very nice architectural style. I did not do the guided tour, but thinking about it now, I probably should have.
The restoration is beautiful. We Minnesotans can be extremely proud of our Capitol. Worth the time!
Good visit
Beautiful building! Almost everything was open on Sunday.
Minnesota's historic State Capitol building is a great place for a family tour. Take a look at the art, sneak a peek into the chambers, visit the gold sculpture up on the roof, eat in the Rathskallar dining room. This should be a required school trip for every Minnesota child.
Great place to finish 26.2 miles of running !!! Thanks Twin Cities Marathon.
The building and grounds are stunning!
Such a nice building with really friendly people. You can walk around and look at everything.
Beautiful building with amazing architecture. Guided tours are free. Definitely a must visit if you are in the Twin Cities area.
Touring it was a great way to spend a couole of summer hours. Go to the information/visitor center on the 1st floor at the beginning so you'll have a map of the bldg. They have nice inexpensive post cards & bookmarks. Also the water fountains & restrooms are clean & plentiful. It is wheelchair friendly!
Definitely take the guided tour to see the entire building, including the golden horses. Great educational and definitely family friendly.
Excellent tour of a wonderful building given by Katie. A highlight of our visit to the area. Not to be missed.
Attended India Fest 2019 #IndiaFest #IndiaFest2019 #iamn #indianAssociationOfMinnesota Great place for functions.
Took the guided tour here. Very well presented and the building itself with it's giant pillars is a great example of amazing contrition. Tour includes visiting the Minnesota Assembly and Senate (which was in session that day so we could not enter that chamber as it was full at the time). Also houses the Minnesota Supreme Court which was very impressive to see,. Court was not in session on the day of our visit. Also includes the main reception room. Tour is about 45 minutes and includes a lot of Minnesota History very well presented. Many steps to climb to enter the Capitol and grounds surrounding it are very nice.
Claims to stand for liberty, but allows the slaughter of innocent human beings across the state at a rate of 27 per day. needs improvement. Stop killing babies.
Beautiful building. We went for the tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable, answered questions, but kept us on schedule so she could get to the next tour. The building has been restored and looks great. It's not the most beautiful State Capitol building I've ever toured (Iowa has a particularly impressive capitol) but it has wonderful features
Having held the Anonymous Million Mask March Minnesota every November 5th since 2012 in Saint Paul at the capitol, the administration has been a pleasure to work with. Capitol Administrator Anne Johnson is the epitome of "Minnesota Nice". She and her staff are friendly and professional always making certain our events have everything we need. Very helpful! The State Troopers who secure the captiol grounds are firm but fair and we have experienced no problems from this office to date. Much respect for Anne!!!! Thanks for making the past 4 years of the MMMMN epic events and we look forward to working with you for many years to come. Anonymous will not stop until every single one of us is free. Disobey... together... We remove the control. Expect us.
Gorgeous piece of architecture
LIT TO THe NEXT DEGREE
Such an amazing Building with beautiful and intricate architecture. Come see it at night to appreciate the architecture with the Building lit up.

Newly renovated state capitol. They offer free tours. You can also watch your representatives in action while in session.
Spent some time there!
The place is awesome... the architecture is amazing... it is worth to see it.
It's nice place to visit, unfortunately many things are closed it's strange that people want to see everything but there are many things that hidden and locked.
A very beautiful and historic building. Worth seeing if you're a tourist like me.
Cool place to walk through...check it out!
Historic building, worth a tour.
This was our first time to see a US Capitol building up close. With it's golden statues (quadriga), it kind of reminded us of our own Legislative building in Winnipeg. Unfortunately we weren't able to go inside. It's a good companion attraction to the Cathedral of St Paul which you can see at the other side of Summit/John Ireland blvd In addition we were fortunate to see the "Take Me Home Huey" Helicopter on display when we visited. I was able to research some parking options beforehand (along 12th and the Centennial Parking Ramp) but since we visited on a Sunday, street parking on John Ireland blvd was easy.
Its a beautiful old building
Moving historic temple of law and government.
Decided to stop by the grand opening party, ended up spending 3 hours just wandering around the capitol admiring the architecture and art. What a beautiful structure.
Gold paint on statues, polished marble and high rise ceilings to surround the politicians with. Poorly engineered one ways streets covered in potholes for the taxpayers.
I LOVE the tour! Beautiful building, friendly guides, and easy to find a tour time that works for us because of the variety of times available. Highly recommend, bring a friend, too!
a remarkable building
This place is rich with history and lots of interesting activities.
Architecturally, a golden stand-out in the catalog of State Capitols
Awesome renovations! Enjoyed visiting during the Grand Opening weekend! Haven't visited in years. So much fun to see everything and enjoyed seeing all the people in the Capitol bringing it to life. Thank you!
Hailed as one of the best Capitol buildings of US, the architecturally beautiful edifice houses the house of representatives, the supreme court and numerous collections of artifacts to illustrate the state's glorious past and current identities. The free guided tour at the top of the hour is very enriching and highly recommended.
Awesome Art Work Awesome Dome Capital of St paul
Done right Minnesota. The grounds around the Capitol are very meaningful. Plan a day in the Spring and bring along a picnic meal.
Very good place to take a tour. We came on a Sunday and almost had the place to ourselves
Great tour! Beautiful Capital!
A pretty good capitol, not quite as good as Iowa's Capitol but worth visiting.
Excellent building & tour!
One of Cass Gilbert's greatest works, though under heavy construction right now.
I went there last year for a field trip when I was in 6th grade I think the tour was fun because the people there were all very kind and nice.
Ive been here when the renovations were finished its awesome and ive lived in MN all my life (12 Years) and i love the state im never leaving!!! and ill be a police officer for the state too #MN IS THE BEST!!!!!!!
The Minnesota State Capital Capital building is beautiful! There is guided tours that are very imformative and interesting. It is a good place to take children for a day out!
We the Maverick Mafia and the people are angry at the evil Statist's capitol and will retaliate towards them even further in the global civil war that has been going on! We want to end the governments worldwide once and for all and restore planetary universal anarchy communities.
Beautiful architecture
Must see. Gorgeous historic building.
Amazing architecture. Donot miss the guided tours that start on the hour. Very informative and courteous guides from MNHS.
