Great great great Park! In addition to the beautiful, historic lighthouse at the Easternmost point in the US, there are spectacularly gorgeous walks along the sea cliffs, in the lush, mossy coastal forest, and a boardwalk through a very unique Ice Age bog. This park will please if you're into geology, botany, or just enjoy walking in places of absolute natural splendor. I saw nothing in the fabled Acadia that could match this place, and Quoddy is far, far less crowded- on some weekdays you can have the trails practically to yourself!
Stunning place especially in the dense fog. Trails were short but filled with amazing views of the cliffs and wild fauna. Recommended for all young and older.
AMAZING bluff walk overlooking the Bay of Fundy. This is the end of the line - the easternmost point in the U.S. Rich spruce forest smells compliment the cool bay breezes. Lots of rock hopping and tidal pool exploring. One of the most beautiful places on the east coast!!
Of course, this is a must see when visiting Lubec!! You can learn about the history of the light keepers and the actual light house. Plus, the view from there is great!! Visiting the Bog area was cool and the various hikes had beautiful views!
Easternmost point in the USA to see the sun rise! A great place for kids to explore the lighthouse and great Sunrise. If you are lucky, you could see the Seals catch some Herring!
Great stop!
What a great visit. We walked down to the water. Beautiful spot for a picnic.
Great place to go lighthouse looks better in pictures. Though went inside
Beautiful lighthouse! The visitor center was packed with history and information. We were lucky to see abundant wildlife including seals, whales, and a porcupine!
Watching the first light of a new day is a novel experience. Its quiet and almost reverent as the sun breaks over the horizon. Well worth the trip and the early morning.
The Easternmost point in the USA... Need say more?
Fun place to visit. Very informative staff.
Most Eastern point, beautiful views and areas to walk about bring snack or lunch.
Neat place
Well worth a visit, particularly if you are headed to/from Campobello! Only one other lighthouse in the U.S. boasts the same candy stripe (it’s in VA). Friendly service and informative posters inside. Eastern most point in the US. Note there are not great restrooms options (at least from what we could find!)
A View to die for! Canada and another Canadian Island all in your view.
Several years ago I witnessed a sight of a Bald Eagle trying to separate some seagulls to try and attack one of the slower ones. In the half an hour I observed that he was not successful at getting one. I have long treasured this memory. If I return to Quoddy Head State Park it will not be to recapture my experience but to enjoy the wonderful water and beautiful parts of nature. Calvin

Excellent easy and moderate trails. Take some water if you go on one of the longer loops.
Beautiful view! Historical site, be sure to go through the museum. The hiking trail along the cliffs and steps to the waterline are a must see!
Wind swept trees. Cliffs and great ocean views. Trails are recently updated and well maintained. Great hike
A must stop as you tour coast and all lighthouses. Interesting and educational for all.
Another beautiful place to visit on the Maine coast. Lots of trails to walk and explore.
Outstanding views, nice little slow hiking trails to more fantastic views. At low tide, you can walk on the shoreline. Nice spot to bring a lunch!
Nice lighthouse with views of the ocean. Knock off your bucket list that you have been to the furthest point east now. Nice front desk staff. Yes they have a lighthouse stamp for your book. Trails, dog friendly, kid friendly.
This is the eastern most point in the US. It is remote, located about four miles from the little town of Lubec, Maine. Lubec is tied to the Canadian island of Campobello by a bridge. The park is on a peninsula jutting out into the open end of the.Bay of Fundy. The park has trails, a nice bog, open pit toliet facilities, no running fresh water. It is still a great place to visit. There is a colorful lighthouse next to the state park that is part of the attraction of the place.
Awesome trails and location. FYI: The Coastal trail is easy to moderate until it leaves the High Ledge. At that point, the Coastal trail becomes strenuous too difficult. I loved it all! Great photographic opportunities for wildlife and landscape.
Loved the striped lighthouse.
Morning coffee by the sea. I love the native Flora and birdlife in this area.
Friendly and helpful staff. Easy hikes.
Beautiful ocean views, and nice walking trails.
I know a reviewed this place already... well worth the trip beautiful scenery hope you enjoy it as much as I did
Great park. Terrific views of crashing waves. Lots of nice trails. We have Bern at West Quarry cabins for 5 days. Made 3 trips to the State Park.
A must see!!
A beautiful, quiet park. The tides rise and fall about 12 feet, and the rocks rattle down the stony beach with each retreating wave. Tide pools are exposed at low tide...a beautiful, wild place with nature as the star. After the crowds of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, a much quieter place.
Sightseeing, the lighthouse, the stone marker for the eastern most point in continental United states, with the co-ordinates engraved on it, the view of the ocean, etc.,etc.,etc ...
Amazing hike ending at the lighthouse! Definitely a must for any one wanting to see the most eastern point in the continental United States.
Great views with walking trail and a couple of picnic tables.
Stunning place especially in the dense fog. Trails were short but filled with amazing views of the cliffs and wild fauna. Recommended for all young and older.
Beautiful. My family and I go to this lighthouse once a year.
One of the most beautiful places I've ever been.
Walking on the ocean floor was unique; spectacular views in sunshine on first visit, spooky views in the dense fog the second visit but we could hear the whales. Light keepers house interesting, not so many steps to top of light house.
It's fun to visit the colorful lighthouse on this eastern most point of the united states!
One of the best state parks in the nation, between the breathtaking views of the Maine coast, to the iconic red and white lighthouse, it's a truly remarkable place to visit. The trails are well maintained and offer plenty of places to stop and take in the scenery, while the boardwalk path though the park's peat bog had an otherworldly beauty all to its own.
This is a well kept park. You cannot go up in the lighthouse but there is a museum and plenty of photo ops. A trail will take you to the beach where there are also picnic tables. We didn't hike but others were preparing to take advantage. This is a beautiful place. Just be prepared for your phone to connect with Canadian towers and time.
This is one of the most beautiful state parks I've ever encountered. There are a variety of hiking trails and places to climb out on the rocks. The bog walk is pleasant, as is the opportunity to smell the salt air and feel the sea breeze. Beware though: Facilites are limited to an outhouse.
Beautiful Oceanside park with rugged coastline and beautiful forest trails. The scenery is absolutely unique and the moss is so springy to walk on you'll want to jump on it like nature's trampoline (like we did). Don't miss this one. It's absolutely one of a kind. Oh, and there's also a beautiful lighthouse overlooking the ocean near the first parking area.
Fantastic park. Absolutely stunning views and easy hikes
Beautiful park, stunning ocean views, nice hiking trails. Really liked it
Beautiful location, well with a visit
Nice museum. Friendly staff.
One of the most beautiful spots in the world. The sun rises here first!
Great area
Beautiful place to explore. Quaint display in the lighthouse. It's windy on the shore, dress in layers.
So beautiful...amazing coastal views.walking trails picnic tables.small history museum
Fun! Self-directed gentle hiking, great photo op. Bathroom available.
Only 4 stars because it's so popular and gets crowded.
Stunning views
Beautiful! Loved it!
Worth the visit and I recommend the short hike up the coast
It truly doesn't get any better than this. My heart is full to bursting.

Nice place very interesting and the hike was good for great veiws
The last point on my four farthest points in the continental US. NSEW. If you are a high pointer r a challenge type person it's great. It's the accomplishment not the destination.
Loved the trails, big Rock cliffs, beautiful scenery, and yes the light house. All around one of the best places I've been and will remember.
Breathtaking. Great hikes with incredible views. A must do if you're in the area.
Well preserved,and a great birw!
Walked the trails. Enjoyed even on a rainy day.
Nice park, some decent trails but not a ton to do here.
the eastern most point in the US! A fun lighthouse and worth the drive from Rockport!
We had an amazing time and the Coastal Trail was breathtaking!!! I said to my wife the beauty was second only to our trip to Alaska!!!
Farthest east best sunrise I've ever seen
Beautiful views and nice historical building with small exhibits of local history. Scenic walking paths are gorgeous.
Breathtaking! Worth the drive! Take the easy hike and you will see bold rocky cliffs. Look for seals and whales in the bay of fundy. Look for pretty rocks along the shore at low tide. And some of the small rocks bounce off the large rocks.
Cool
neat place great view
Our last furthermost point to be visited. It took more than 10 years to ccheck this place out and finally we did it! Amazing views!!!
The Easternmost point in the U.S.Plus a gorgeous lighthouse and hiking trails.Fantastic views.
Enjoyed
Gorgeous
Great views

Went there in the off season and the lighthouse wasn't open but that didn't matter. Great hiking trails including stairs down so you could explore the awesome rocky shore. Well worth the trip from near Acadia.
The lighthouse is beautiful! There is a great walking trail and I love being able to look over to Cananda!
Great hiking and incredible views
absolutely gorgeous view. there are multiple trails to walk around on, and there is a beach that you can go to. there are bathrooms. if you can go, you should.
Beautiful place!! Lots to learn here, great for kids!
Beautiful headlight and spectacular views along the hiking trails.
Breathtaking.........the only word for it.
Hidden gem of a park. I recommend the shoreline trail. It is not to challenging of a hike just a narrow trail with stunning views of the coast line. Definitely would go back, could probably spend 2-3 hours there, more of you wanted to do more serious hiking.
Always have to make a stop and see the sights. Love it every time.
Quoddy Head is an amazing campground that was the perfect capstone to my summer. Went there for a wedding, and even the apples from the tree were great. I can't recommend it enough for your perfect event.
Always a great park to visit. Love the views and the hike to the Arctic bog. Need to go back to see the other bog.
Beautiful. One of my favorite lighthouses!
By far the coolest lighthouses I've seen . Pure beauty especially when you know it is literally the furthest lighthouse in the US. must go !
Absolutely stunning! The lighthouse, the hiking paths, the picnic areas.... nothing not to love here. Some of the most gorgeous views I have ever seen.
Great, well groomed trails.
A great lighthouse that you can get right up on and walk up to. Has great views and is easier to walk around then some. I went here in late November.
Trails are well maintained and views unsurpassed!!
Loved the tour
Just a cool place to see. Easily accessed, unlike some I've been to see.
Got nice pictures here
Great lighthouse and museum. Awesome to be at Eastern most part of U.S.
Great little park!
Great place to hike. Some of the trails are quite challenging.

A quick stop yesterday I will go back today
Loved the serenity of TV he ocean and land, beautiful!
Rugged cliffs, picturesque lighthouse, easy trail, special geographical location
Good place to visit when in Lubec. Nice scenic drive. And it is also an easternmost point of the United States.
One of the most beautiful places in this country.
Love stopping here!
This is easily one of the most amazingly beautiful place in the world. It's well worth a visit.
Hike the coastline trail all the way out. Mucky and boggy trail but great sites and sounds of rocks click clacking in the surf is unique.
AMAZING
Our favorite park in Eastern Maine. Good for a day visit. The lighthouse museum is very interesting and the lighthouse tour is worth the time. Has handicap parking close to the lighthouse so walking down the hill can be missed if necessary.
Firs time I saw red striped light house and the place is amazing as well. We drove from Bar Harbor to see this light house and this is also Eastern most point in the USA. Light house staff is maintaining it very well and it has a collection of various artists but felt those are very expensive.
It's a bucket list place.
Beautiful!
Easternmost point in the US. Good parking area for an RV and short walk to the lighthouse. There are some picnic tables for a lunch on the water and a few trails out to the beach.
One of the best kept Maine "secrets"
Absolutely incredible. Make sure you follow the trails . Don't just stop at the rocks
Came here at night so can’t really say much. But the lighthouse was cool to see at night.
Beautiful place, amazing lighthouse! Definitely worth the trip
Very nice. Well kept. A very nice place to visit.
Beautiful views, peaceful setting. The light house is very impressive. Great place for pictures.
Beautiful place. Most east point of contnateal USA
The history and being at the Easternmost point in the United States.
If you're in Maine check this place out. Very helpful staff, a decent gift shop, and you can leave the most farthest eastern person in the continental United States. They even have a stamp for your parks/passport book. Check out the gift shop down the road, great little spot
The cutest lighthouse! Fun tour.

Beautiful lighthouse! Take the path down to the water.
The Ocean, hiking trails, lighthouse...etc are just amazingly beautiful. 2nd time being there...and I would go over and over again.
The end of the usa
Beautiful lighthouse. Glimpse at life running a remote lighthouse.
Amazing views from the bluffs off the Coast Guard trail. Able to view Canadian territory across the water. First sunrise of the United States. Great lighthouse
So beautiful and picturesque. My husband and I enjoyed the museum inside as well.
Not much here other than the lighthouse and a stone marker denoting the Eastern most point in the US, but cool nonetheless! Be prepared for a long drive!
I just like lite house
Something for everyone here. Eat at the easternmost picnic table in the United States. Hike the cliffs along the Grand Manan Channel. Build a cairn.
Open Lighthouse with History of the Lighthouse. For Lighthouse hunters, this one is worth the trip.
Beautiful views. Beware of muddy trails after a day of rain.
Beautiful views!!
My destination for this trip, I am here late in the fall and lucky in term of photography.
Wonderful lighthouse with views of Canada and an occasional whale. Beyond that check out the coast trail, worth the effort.
Beautiful trek as always.
So cool to visit this eastern most part of the US. Just one corner left! Great views on short well groomed hike to the look out. The lookout has a staircase and platform that got us some great views of Canada!
One of the most beautiful places on this earth. I highly recommend it.
Eastern most Point in the continental US! Great place to see a lighthouse with a view! Amazing walking trails.
The views were nice hopefully we could have gone on a day when it wasn't cloudy... But must go place in a while...
Beautiful
Chester Moore and his wife Sigrid we're here they said it was the most beautiful place on the East Coast and it is the first place the sun comes up in the United States Chester is from here
This is the Lighthouse. Nice hiking trails.
Quoddy Head is one of the most beautiful places on this planet. Hiking along the Bold Coast gives one a whole new perspective. Uncrowded, unspoiled, serene. It's definitely a must see.
There is only one park in the 48 contiguous USA that can claim easternmost. Quoddy is it. It is a small park with some hiking or rather walking. The lighthouse is the main feature. It is quite the trip to get there, but it is worth it. There are some bird and marine life sightings that you may catch if it is the right time.
Nice and peaceful. Not a lot of people around if you want to see awesome view and not having tons of people around.
Stunning views of the coast!!
City people a must visit the unbelievable view.
Beautiful spot and view. Can't go wrong with the Eastern most point in the USA.
Fantastic views of Grand Manan Island, New Brunswick Canada
Beautiful views... quiet.
This light house is fully functional and active. The fog can be heavy in the mornings so be careful if hiking around the park.
Breathtaking view! Wonderful photograph opportunity. Disappointed visitor center not open but we visited outside of standard 'season'. Non flush toilet available in parking area.
Cool place. The place has a engraved stone right next to the light house stating that it is the eastern most place in the USA. There is a museum which describes a brief history of the place and has a few old lighthouse bulbs and photos along with other artifacts . The drive to the light house is filled with scenic views. There is a toilet available near the general parking area
Quoddy Head Light is a wonderful park for families. Picnic tables, stairs to a rugged beach...bring good shoes with slip-resistant soles to climb
Must stop you check it out! A quick drive but well worth it! A lot of history there too.
Beautiful Maine destination! The views are amazing. The trails are well kept with benches scattered everywhere.
Nice feel to it. Beautiful park with views.
Such a beautiful place. I go there every time I come up here. Love the hiking trails. But most of all the beauty of the ocean. Really feels like home.
Wanted to go to eastern most point of usa. Was there for sunrise. Breathtaking
Beautiful rocky beach to check out!
We just had to go! Just “because”.
Absolutley beautiful!!
Beautiful breathtaking views well worth the visit!
