As it was our first time going to maine we were a little unsure of this place but it exceeded our expectations! The staff was very nice and professional, they never rushed us to complete the course or that our time was up. Each person completed there course at there own pace. Needless to say I highly recommend this place for all members of the family

Awesome place..plenty of helpful staff. brought my 2 grandchildren 11 & 14... Loved.it Bring mosquito repellent! Adventure course INCLUDES some ziplining.. But take both .highest zip trip & ropes r worth it!

When me and my friends went on the swing, the person at the bottom who was catching us was not moving very quickly. I was hanging at the bottom for so long and i was in a lot of pain.

we had called ahead to be sure that they were open before we drove the hour to get there and we're assured that they were open until 5:00 as it stated in their hours. they told us to arrive by 4 to be set up. we showed up at 3:00 to be told that they closed at 3:00 due to the lack of traffic. out two children were not allowed in. very unprofessional to say the least. we will not go back.

The staff was very encouraging, helpful and enthusiastic. I could also tell that safety was their main priority which is great. As for the courses, I personally enjoyed the zip line tour more. The tour is just difficult enough that it’s a challenge, but with the frequent straight zip lines it makes it high adrenaline and really fun. Overall I really enjoyed my experience there and I would definitely go again.

My husband and I had a blast! I signed us up for the Zip Line Tour and the Adventure Course. We had an amazing Zip Line Tour instructor, Emi! She has a great attitude and a love for her job! We enjoyed climbing and zip lining through the woods. And the Adventure Course was fun and challenging. I give Monkey Trunks 5 stars. We will definitely be back and I will recommend Monkey Trunks to friends when visiting Maine. -Cait and Hank

Great gear, great people. The facility here is in great shape. The equipment is well maintained. When you look at how you tether onto the wires you realize how hard it would be for somebody to fall. The staff does a great job explaining how the great works and helping climbers get used to it. If you have any fear of heights you will be confronted with it constantly. Your mind knows that you are completely safe but a you go across the obstacles, it's hard to remember that. The sense that you could fall is (irrationally) always present.

My husband and I did the zip lining tour this past weekend and had a great time! It was just he and I, and we were guided through the zipline tour by Jeanine. So glad we had her as our guide. I was terrified but she was kind and patient and made me feel at ease as we made our way through the trees. Took us exactly an hour but I imagine if you're not scared like me (lol) you'd go through it much faster. It was a great starting place for me and I am feeling more confident about going zip lining again this summer!

I really liked the zipline course and if you ever come, you should also try the zipline course! You should also try the swing. The swing is VERY fun! Also, there is duel zipline on the normal course so you can race your friends! It is very fun there and the safety instrutors are very nice and they will answer your questions and help you out! I really recomend going there! The only thing I dont like to much is the long distance walk back to the course! But anyways the safety instructors will also help you put on, tighten, and remove your harness! It is a very fun place overall! I have been there and I wanted to be there all day every day! You really should come when it is GREAT weather and always check the weather where you want to go so you can have fun and enjoy it! I really want to go back there but we had to go home and we live in ny so like 6-7 hours away. D: Overall, I really enjoyed the place! You should go and visit! There are some easy obstacles and some hard ones! If I had enough time I would have done ALL of them! And if some ate hard, just zipline through it! You really need to go and experiance it for your self! Its near IMPOSSIBLE to explain how much fun it is, in words! You, like, REALLY need to go there!

We spent a few hours here with our kids (5 and 7). For the youngest one the kiddie tour was the maximum, but that gets boring rather quickly. The higher ones are real fun!

No prices on the website, and no advertised weight limit, until you get to the location. I wasted a trip going here since the price point and weight limitations. Looks like a great couple of courses, and I can't wait to have my kids try it out. Attendant was very nice, and informative. They explained that the rates change when summer brings more tourists. Willing to go back when criteria is met, and reevaluate this review.

I will never recommend this place to anyone we looked online said they were open and operating both zip line and adventure Park get there after driving 3 hours and told no zip line only small children adventure Park will be available and did I have a reservation. Give me a break thanks for ruining my nephew's birthday. Way to go so huge thumbs down. Staff was rude in relaying information on top of it all. Not a good family experience and wasted a lot of gas and time.

WARNING!!!! If you are over 250lbs, DO NOT go to this place because you will be humiliated! There are no EXPLICIT weight limit signs, so after you pay, they will WEIGH you then patronize you with, “I’m sorry, but unfortunately you do not meet our weight limit.” Management: have a sign outside the facility with your weight requirement, so that way patrons will see it when they visit and make the decision to turn back on their own.

Brought the kids here for the second time. They love the challenging rope course and the exciting zip-lines. I wish they let big guys like me do the course. In CT there are some that allow for up to 275 lbs. Not here. 250 max. But the kids had fun. They were talking about going there for months before our trip.

Shut down swing when I was in line to go. Guy was not gonna let us go. Before they wouldn’t let us on the platform to go so we went and did the zip line. Some of the staff was nice but some of them were unprofessional. JUST NOT HAPPY with the staff on the swing he was ridiculous he wouldn’t let us on platform once and then didn’t let us go. Staff was just sitting around and some on brake even tho they were short staffed to start in the middle of summer when everyone is on vacation. Zip line tour was pretty good but that’s about it hope things Chang there and everyone starts doing there job

My family is local to the area, so my girlfriend and I come to visit every other weekend. We wanted something fun to do on a cloudy weekend and we had the pleasure of experiencing the Adventure Course. Although it was somewhat tricky with the rain from the previous night, the course was fun, exhilarating and adventurous as promised. Our instructor Ellen was helpful, fun and experienced in the course. She made the process fun while also keeping my girlfriend calm with the trickier courses. Ellen made the overall experience excellent. (Don't forget instructors accept tips!) Only recommendation would be to include the discount for the other course for a future trip, for example provide a voucher good for two weeks or something to come back and use on the other course. If this was the case we would have come back the next day with some of our friends, even if we just still received the discounted rate!

The forest bit was good but a bit short. The other bit was basically a big kids climbing frame. Challenging but not all that fun. The forest bit could have done with some longer zip lines and some more challenging crossings. It's a very good safety harness system which keeps you safe without being too restricted or overly supervised. I'd recommend it for children but older teens will probably find it a bit tame. Unless it's your first ever time doing something like this I would try to find a more exciting one.
