Funtown is very clean an incredibly wonderful place to spend family time. Bathrooms are clean an so is the park. Great prices they range from 38 to 11 but the time spent is a blessing the water is also clean but cold great deals on the pics as well come check it out an come have fun in the sun.. #sundayfunday

It's a very dirty place. Food is expensive. Only a couple good rides. However I found the lifeguards were very nice and talkative and made me laugh a bunch. It's one of the only waterparks in Maine so it's one of the only options besides aquaboggan. It's not worth the trip if you aren't from Maine or at least staying near it at the time.

Everyone was helpful. Lines were not bad at all. The staff told us the best nights to come just for rides and you can bring food in! The lifegaurds were attentive and as a parent that is very much appreciated.

It's all about the kids on this one. 6pm special was$11 bucks for 3 hours of fun. Great spot to come to have a little fun on rides and get a little wet in the summer heat. If you don't want to take a whole day and you re just looking for a few hours of fun here's your opportunity! Take in the night life with the kids. Like if this review helped you! Need to have a little bit bigger straps on all the rides so that heavier people can enjoy the rides too. Not everyone is skinny!

Funtown is worth it if you go after 6 for the discounted price. Maybe if you do splashtown it would warrant the higher all day price, but I've never done splashtown so I can't comment. Funtown has some good rides for all ages. The Astrosphere is neat but the line moves interminably slowly, making not worth the wait at all. It just takes way too long between ride cycles.

I had a very fun time with the combo of funtown and splashtown. The bumper boats had cheap engines that leaked burning hot water and you had to hold the gas button the whole time. It also vibrated very badly and mine was smoking and I thought I would have to swim back to surface. Otherwise, great time!

We LOVE this place! After our 2nd trip to Splashtown we then tried Funtown for the 1st time & had a fantastic time! We'll definitely be back next summer! Great combo price & just the perfect place for family fun with our 10 year old!!

My wife and I went middle of the week during summer and had 1 line to wait in the whole day. Rides are fast and fun, staff are engaging and the prices are affordable. The water park was crowded but there were plenty of places to set your stuff down and enough pools to have a spot for everyone. I lost my glasses going on one of their waterslides and the staff was quick to find them before they got to the compressor and were lost forever. Thank you!!! Cant wait to come back next summer.

It was pricey but we went for most of the day. From noon to 6 when they closed. We got combo passes and it was so fun!! If you haven't been in years, give yourself plenty of time things have moved! Splashtown was a blast!! Totally worth it! Definitely going again and considering season passes when we move back to the area!

Got discounted tickets through work, which makes the price reasonable. The new updated Astrodome is awesome and actually stays cool now. Arcade games are very reasonably priced and fun to play. Wasn't overly crowded on a Saturday either.

A fun amusement park and water park combo! I liked many of their rides and really enjoyed the water park, especially the tube slides that fit 4 people and the trap door slides.

Clean park. Free parking. Could use some minor updates. Overall a good time. Dont believe the rain day guarantee. I went to the water park and after an hour i could hear EMS tones over the radio and then came the thunder and lightning. They said they dont offer a rain day voucher unless they close the park. What qualifies closing the park? A tornado? On the plus side most of the crowd left so no lines at the rides. Most of the staff were very fiendly. I could do without the ride operators with their feet up, sighing looking at their watch. To conclude, the good times averaged out the bad so id go back but keep an eye on the forecast.

Good place to spend the day, clean park friendly staff but bring your own food or plan to leave the park for meals and drinks. A water cost 3.50 and for lunch for 3(nothing fancy) over $45.00

Fun town was ok. But small, the gift shop didnt check price tags when ring me up which made my order 20 dollars more then it should have been which was correct once I spoke up. Splash town is to. Small and congested causing the experaince to become stressful.

It was great free Parking free seating canopies and umbrella tables 1st come 1st serve but as of what I seen there was plenty! Great place to being the kids no too crowded.. Would definitely go back! Traveled from RI and was worth the trip.. Can also bring in your own food and drinks .. No alcohol but can buy alcohol inside

I would have given 5⭐ however i had called the front office to notify there was no tp and doubled checked later, still no tp. Had to walk other side of park to use restroom. Other than that, park is outstanding! First time for my family and will certainly go back.

Great family fun. Small enough so you won't have to walk miles for the rides. Lines are never really long. You're able to bring your own food and drinks in to save money.

Awsome family fun place to go I loved the water rides especially the log flume!!!! They do have an arcade as well and adult area so you can quench your thirst with a nice cold beer as well!!!! The also have child rides as well!!!! Excellent place for family fun!!!!

It was decent wayer/amusement park. It got about a half a day in, whennthe storm came in and they gave us a pass good for a half of day. So that was appreciated. Whole family had a great time. Thier food was decent too. Expensive.

Great place..was not packed when we went so line were short...when you get to hot...head over to the water park...everyone was nice..place was clean...my only problem was food was pricey $4.50 for just a hot dog! 3.50 for Medium fountain soda... I will go again I will just eat before I get there one thing that is nice they let you bring food and drinks in plan ahead

Love, love, love Funtown and Splashtown! Great relaxing day with kids and Grandkids! The water rides and pools and pirate ship thrill the kids and there are plenty of lounge chairs and places for the adults to rest and take it easy! It is a beautiful, clean amusement park and the discounted combo tickets you can find online or at various places are well worth the price since ticket includes all day ride bracelet!!

Really fun! Overall loved it however most of the staff was rude and miserable which made the experience somewhat unpleasant! There was only one friendly and positive staff member i encountered the day i visited. I really hope this was already brought to your attention and has been fixed as I had this issue last summer! Hoping for a better experience this summer!

Awesome family fun. Great rides. Family atmosphere. Park is exceptionally clean. Dragons decent is an incredible view from the top and excaliper is a wooden roller coaster not to be missed no line at log flume so did it four times in a row. Water park was great with mostly short lines except for tornado thrill and Titans twist. Tornado thrill well worth the wait. Could not stop laughing. My wife, my kids and me had a wonderful time and got discount combo tickets through parks and rec department. Food was good, freshly made and reasonably priced for an amusement park. Bad points are layout of park is ackward with poor flow, go karts ran extremely poorly and many continued to break down without given chancel of rerun on track. My son's bumper boat engine smoked so much it looked like it was on fire. When staff notified, didn't seem to care.

It was fun and relaxing. The bathroom facilties were clean and the wait time for rides was minimal . The ride to get there was long, but definitely worth it. I live in Johnston RI and will absolutely go back.

Nice small amusement park. It can be like a maze to to get around but when you figure it out, (which it's pretty small so you'll figure it out quickly) it's really easy to enjoy. I recommend going at a later time, short lines and the price drops

Great amusement park in Southern Maine. A summer family tradition. Park admission is reasonable and plenty of rides from tots to adults. Food is overpriced however, so pack a lunch.

Had a lot of fun with the family! The food kinda sucked, but we brought our own snacks and drinks. The park was very clean, as were the bathrooms! I didn't encounter one unpleasant staff member, and they were very attentive to the ride they were running. We went before the season really kicked off so splashtown wasn't open. On the plus side the lines were a 5 minute wait, MAX! But we only waited a handful of times in 7 hours. Will definitely return!

Awesome ages 11-14 enjoyed both the water park and amusement rides. For myself it was a trip down memory lane as I went as a kid. I believe they loved it so much because the offer more old school rides that you might not find at larger amusement parks. They are already planning our trip for next year!

We went on all the adult rides, it was amazing. My family had a lot of fun Excalibur Rollercoaster was great. The Mouse Rollercoaster was a rough ride, it jerks to several stops pushing the bar into your midsection. We all came out with bruises. Make sure you go to Mainely Fries...yummy!

Way over priced. Rides are not that good. Food prices is astronomically priced. A small 4 oz hamburger 7.50. Staff not polite. I would say thank you and they would act like I'm bothering them.

Get your tickets beforehand to save some $$. We purchase ours through Augusta Rec @ the Buker Center. The kids always have a blast. Bring your own cooler to save money on food costs, it can get pricey in the park.

Limited water slides on a busy day 1 HR wait in line place was extremely clean fair price for a day. I just wish they had a lazy river and get here early it gets busy after 2. And very crowded ! The kids had a blast. But water wizz. In Cape Cod is wayyyy better. I was having a good time till I went down the slide with the head first mats and the blonde girls in charge where extremely rude. If you don't like your job quit. I gave it a low review because it's very cramped and. Lines are an hour wait. Other than that it's a good place to get away for a day.

Great for my son's 11th bday, we did just Funtown this time around. Last time we did Splashtown due to my son's height. We stayed and baked in the sun for 4.5 hours, the log ride will cool you down. Food's pricey, but it's an amusement park.

Did not go on one ride or water slide...still had to pay $40 to get in. They should really re-think the pricing. Bring your own cooler with food and water! Bottle of water at Fun Town $3.50 The food is incredibly expensive,mass produced and not worth the price .

Used to be a great park. Now they ruined it cause u have to pay to get in even if u just walk around. So families can't afford to go anymore. Rocky Point in R.I. did same thing and they ended up closing. I predict same thing will happen here.

Very clean and plenty of staff. FYI there are no lap "children" they all count which is good to know if you plan to go on any rides with them (i.e. the antique cars) My 3 year old had a blast today. The woman running the helicopter ride clearly enjoyed her job and working with little children. :)

Very nice place , it was very clean and everyone was so nice. I brought my 9,8 and 1 year olds and they all had a blast!!!! The only disappointment was that it stormed so we had to leave way earlier then we wanted to. I would defidently come back i even had a good time!!!!!

My youngest daughter has a season pass and my oldest daughter works for Funtown. I have lived in Saco for a good part of my life and Funtown has always been there. Sure it's no Disney or Universal but for a locally owned amusement park it is sure is amazing. I will continue to support them for as long as I am able.

Lots of fun. Some lines but not too awful if you stick to certain rides and water slides. Attentive ride operators. Four stars because service staff, mainly food stands, were rather slow and unfriendly. Otherwise well worth the money.

We loved Fun Town we had a ball Food court was a different story I wanted in line for 15 minutes I know that normal but when I spent$37.00 on a hot dog,3 cheese burgers and tender plate and I reviewed it all cold and had been sitting there for a while.. I was not happy at all. I work in food service so I know it had been sitting there for a while and wasn't cooked on the spot..they need to be better at that.thats unhealthy and I think I should be reimbursed for it.. We spent$176.00 to get in the park.. But other than that everything else was amazing..

Excellent time with the grandkids. Got them tickets for both parks; just Splashtown for me. Those slides were so much fun, I felt like a kid again. We had a blast. Room for improvement in the food service area for sure.

On a hot day there is absolutely no way that your kids will be able to stand in line for the waterpark. It’s over an hour wait for any of the good ones. I came here as a kid and now that my kids are older it’s a fun blast from the past, but it’s way too busy now

After all these years, still a great place for the whole family! Very clean with wide smooth walkways, it is easily accessible if you have a stroller or wheelchair. With two rollercoasters, go-karts, and the newly remodeled Astrosphere and more, there are plenty of thrill rides, as well as milder rides like the antique cars and two carousels. You've also got a complete water park! There is something for everyone here!

It's selling point is its proximity to the beach. You can't walk around for free, and the rides (while being more amusing than other parks around) aren't much better than travelling carnival rides.

I went to order food at 5:15 and was told the fryers were all shut down. The park closes at 6. If it were 5:45 or later I would have understood. I was looking to spend a decent amount for dinner, so they missed out. Also, I came into the park with my five children and about 30 minutes later my boyfriend came to meet me. He was questioned when he bought a ticket as to if he was meeting someone, as if he was some creepy guy trying to mosey around a kids theme park. I wasn't impressed with the customer service at the ticket booth, rude and condescending for absolutely no reason.

Lots of fun for the whole family. There are rides and slides for everyone in the family. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only real complaints I had were the cost of the pictures from the rides and the price of food/drinks are a little pricey. Other than that, the prices for the tickets and the value you get for them is well worth the trip. If you plan on going more than once during the season, I would highly recommend a season pass though. More bang for your buck, plus you can buy a season pass for pictures as well now. That might be worth the buy as well if you plan to buy lots of those ride pics, however, they only offer the picture season pass to season pass holders. But, we still had lots of fun. Well worth the money. Veterans also get a discount on admission for the whole family!

Even as someone who doesn't enjoy thrill rides I still found a way to have a good time, personally I think splashtown is better but that's just my bias, both are great, expensive food but admission is affordable, I recommend you bring snacks of your own
