REVIEWS OF Fort Williams Park IN Maine

Susmita Ray

Though due to 4 th July weekend place was overcrowded. But nice view and nice to visit. There is no proper restrooms, only portable one. For this giving 4 star

Brandon Hepler

An absolutely amazing experience. The views. The sound of the oceans. Old military structures to explore. An abandoned mansion. A head light. It's free right now but potentially pay to park if you're not from Cape Elizabeth. If you have a dog, they'll love this park too.

William Ahrendt

The scenery is beautiful.

Karen Bishop

Can't get a better place to see the ocean spend time resting clearing your head from the world. Oldest lighthouse in the US. Commission by Washington in 1789

St. Mary's Media Ministry Office

Ample parking and plenty of things to do. The most famous is the Portland Head Lighthouse the most photographed lighthouse in the world. Thee is also historical information about the fort and a shipwreck that took place off the coast back in the 1800s. If looking for something to do I highly recommend checking this place out.

Dalton Ramble

Beautiful place to visit. A small beach to set eyes upon, and water that's salty and refreshing on a hot summers day. Walking trails along the ocean and old bunkers still visible. An old lighthouse still stands and is one of many along Maine's vast and coast.

Carol Daxata Diller

A scenic and peaceful area.

Jon Janelle

Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Portland area!

Atul Nautiyal

Very beautiful place all year round. Plenty of things to do and enjoy.

Gurkishan Singh

Mesmerizing. Must visit while going through Portland.

Charles Berry

Beautiful park. Lots to explore. Free parking.

Gavin Hurst

What a beautiful place! The lighthouse and all of the trails made for a great day trip!

Mo Swiss

Love light houses and this one my of favorite, highly recommend.

Greg Bem

A classic Southern Maine experience. Even though I've been there dozens of times, I still go back when I return to Maine. I'd recommend checking out the entire park, including all of its nooks and crannies. Try to visit after dark, too, to get the true haunted experience.

Matt Naylor

Beautiful park to explore and take in some beautiful scenery

Rich Stevens

Great food, great staff, loved the gazebo and a great beer selection

Zac Cornish

What a great place to explore, this park has attractions for all ages. From an easy sea side walking trail, old structures to walk through, to rocky sea side you won't be bored. I came with three children 6 through 10 and they had a blast, had to force them to leave. Five stars even though there is a lesson to teach with Fort Williams, the tragedy of the commons. There is no fee to enter this park, and therefore it suffers from the ravages of time and disrespectful people that have graffitied one of the fort's casemates. I hope you'll leave a donation like we did!

Jeffrey Pope

Easily one of my favorite places in Maine.

Jake B

This is a very beautiful park any time of year. Today was a gray day with melting snow, but the rocks and trees and the light all looked beautiful. The air was crisp and briny. The cliff trail was very muddy, but passable, and the views as spectacular as can be. It's truly a magical place when it's uncrowded and peaceful.

kimberly Bridges

Easy walking trails, beautiful lighthouse, ocean and ruins. What's not to love?

Tapan Sharma

Beautiful is the only word

John S.

There's plenty to see here but this park is quite a tourist trap. this Lighthouse has some cliff views great for photography of Maine. I was there on a weekday and the park became busy I could not take a short video without people marching through. All day long buses were pulling up with fellow tourist. Anywhere within eyesight of the lighthouse on a weekday people were making noise taking pictures talking with one another having a jolly time yet I foolishly expected it to stop any moment. Birds to point out, ocean to hear at a lighted lighthouse.

Family Account

Awesome place to take pictures and plenty of cool things to do

Mackenzie Lynne

What a beautiful park, great for walking along the rocky beach or along the cliff walk. Also with the oldest light house in Maine, quite serine.

Paul Bouchard

There are many reasons to go Fort Williams. You can explore the old fort structures, take in the iconic Portland Headlight. There is a wonderful children's garden and a playground with big and small equipment. In the summer there are food trucks and artisans.

Deanna Bolling

Such a great spot for get together a with family!! Good for all ages!!

Gustave Masela

Besides the fact that they added paid parking, everything else is nice

Jordan Edgar

I am a photographer and I took some grte pictures here I love it lot of history.

Matt Porter

Beautiful park with incredible views!

Neil Malatzky

Nice place to visit. But now they charge to park

inbal solomon

The fort is closed, I hope they restore it and open again because it looks amazing even now. The headlight is beautiful, the man at the museum was very helpful and nice! Made our visit there even more enjoyable.

Peter Brzozowy

Great views and terrific history. Good place to bring kids3

Terry Sloane

Well kept public space with great views and walks

Joe P

This place is amazing. It's free minus parking which is only $2hr or if remember correctly $15 for the season. Ample areas to walk. Well groomed grounds. Beach, lighthouse, old buildings and history. It is simply beautiful and a great place to spend a day or afternoon. Food trailers there during summer as well as port-o-potties.

Anna Blankenship

Beautiful scenery. Lobster Roll from a food truck. Great water views.

Nathan Milkins

A beautiful view all summer long. Clean and we'll kept.

Yvette Dilallo

Ocean breezes n visuals. Great place to walk among many other things

Kate Bennett

I love fort Williams! There’s so much to explore plus it’s dog friendly! Love that! They have dedicated on ease areas and an off leash area. I love that they have both. Lots of picnic table kind of seating along the ocean, beautiful place to pack a lunch and go to for the day! They do charge for parking now but it’s totally worth it and I love seeing how much they’re improving the park and growing it.

Joseph Conroy

A fantastic and historical place for family, friends, and events. Situated on the coast, there is over 20 acres of trails, cliffs, open areas, and a 200 year old Lighthouse to explore.

Ian Lewis

My favorite park in Maine so far. We love it here

Nelson Mondale

Definitely worth a visit to check off all of your Maine lighthouse visits

Lhug Hametsu

Been going to family parties and birthday parties here for years great location

Charles Kronenthal

Fun to visit, nice park for children

Paul Spangler

Beautiful place. Bring your walking shoes.

Michael Russo

Well-maintained park in a peaceful setting on the water. A drawback is a glaring absence of trash cans. I carried my trash around for an hour while exploring the area.

dave patterson

We booked the picnic shelter for our wedding. Then the town passed the parking fee. We called the town to work something out for our guests and were treated quite rudely. We even tried to prepay for our guest but they couldn't be bothered. The day of the wedding I put out a sign showing where the wedding would be held. The park faculty stole the sign, I had to argue with them to get it back. We had to fight with snotty out of staters to stop blocking the entrance to the picnic shelter, because we had elderly guests being dropped off. The whole day was a fight with someone after another. We paid and signed a contract with the town, and they just kept on changing what ever they wanted. Cape elizabeth is to vain to allow the park to become a state park but dont want to pay to keep up on it. We used to go here all the time. Not anymore. In fact I refuse to spend any of my hard earned money in their town again.

Hillaire Hess

This place is Beautiful!. Accessible and the cost to park is only $2.00 an hour (2 Hour Min though). My only complaint is the fact they only had porter potty’s. A tourist attraction like this really needs indoor plumbing.

Bonnie C

Amazingly clean. Well maintained. Furbaby friendly. Awesome ocean breeze. Areas with shaded seating. This is a must visit place! We returned here again on our second trip to Maine.

sarah garcia

Love visiting Fort William's! So much to explore and the seabreeze really clears your mind.

Joseph Collura

Go to the park and look at the lighthouse. It's just great.

Andrew Graceffa

Beautiful park to explore

Angie Jarvis

Went here with my son and had a great time! Lovely walk around and lots to explore! Some interesting characters as well. There are bathrooms and a food cart or two. There is a mini museum and a small shop by the lighthouse. Plenty of parking. Definently worth the stop on our way home!

LUZ GUTIERREZ

In one word, beautiful!

Michele Weber

Absolutely beautiful! The prettiest lighthouse we saw on our trip to Maine. MUST SEE!

Ryan M

Awesome lighthouse, awesome park.

R SCOTT DeBruin

Great views and food truck lobster rolls

Jobin Varghese

Absolutely beautiful place with the view of light house. Great picnic area and plenty of parking available.

Juliana Sowinski

A gorgeous, incredibly well maintained park. A lot to offer and views well worth the daily parking fee.

b praveen

Awesome place to visit with family. The view is superb. Best place for a Picnic. The ground is awesome. Kids can play here. You also have a parking on the grass meat children play area. Kids will love it. You got so much to do here. People can tend to spend 4 hours here with lunch. Park is well maintained. One of the best places to visit in Maine.

Mirror Wolf

No wonder why it's the most photographed lighthouse in America! You can't really take a bad photo here because it's so beautiful.

Barbara Dozet

A great time at Cape Elizabeth Family Fun Fair ... what a beautiful Park

Ashley Elder

This is one of my favorite spots to visit being a local Mainer. I usually go during the week around 7:30pm to watch the sunset when the crowds are less and the breeze is nice. Bring a camera with you when you go, it's a beautiful spot to take pictures and a great place for kids as you can climb on the rocks and ruins of the fort (at your own risk). Recently they started asking that you pay for parking (money goes towards maintaining the park) but it's pretty cheap, I think it's a dollar per hour or $15 for a season pass so not bad at all!

Dana Kirwan

Such a great place! If you have some time to go exploring, this is a great place to explore!

Kristen Szymanski

Wonderful place! FYI though, no actual bathrooms just porta potties that are super revolting.

Kathy

Very pretty. Not particularly anything special but a nice walk-around, pretty lighthouse to photograph. Pretty view of the ocean but no access. This is really and truly a lighthouse park. There were public restrooms, no cost to get in the park when we went, pets are allowed on a leash.

Donna Alger

If you visit Maine, this is a must!! Portland headlight is in this park and add of this writing parking is free! Update: fee for parking unless you park in the lower parking lot! You will find lots of open areas to walk your dog, a children's garden, a playground, a beach.

Olya RK

This is the most beatific light house on the east coast. Definitely a must. The park is very peaceful and wasn’t crowded. As soon as you walk on the hill a breathtaking view on a light house opens up.

Nicolas Duque Arango

Nice place to take a walk and learn about history, surrounded by beautiful scenery.

The Sanders

Fun place to spend the afternoon!@ Beautiful view & plenty of places for the kids to explore.

Zack Matloff

Long fields, very cool buildings, and always unique food vendors. Dogs are allowed, parking is free, and the grass is very well kept. Very fun for a day out, or to just go for a walk. Fort Williams is a very cool spot for taking pictures! #TeamPixel!

Tyler Branton

Beautiful scenery and a great place for small children to run around.

erin solis

So much walking! We really enjoyed it here!

Robert Davies

Beautiful rocky coastal views are coupled with historic decay (ruins of a fort having water away), and a majestic light house. This park is dog friendly, including an off leash area. A number of food trucks are located around. These prices are gougingly expensive. Like $2 for a 12 oz soda expensive. All in all, this is an awesome park with beautiful views, friendly people and although expensive, delicious food.

Michael Salesse

Nice calm park to visit. Great views

Derek Viger

One of the most scenic spots in Maine. Fantastic place to walk, have a picnic, or just enjoy the ocean.

John Chesebrough

Used to a great place to take company for a visit. Now they make you pay for parking and there are no trash cans available and all the rocky ledges are corded off with fencing. Just not the same as it was growing up... Still as gorgeous as ever though.

Jphunkbasilla Richlin

Beautiful veiws of the ocean, lighthouse, gardens and ruins.

Emilie Vashion

Gorgeous views& beautiful lighthouse

Robin Bertram

The scenery was absolutely stunning. We enjoyed our time there.

Jean Lafortune

Loved the view. Though I was on top of the United States

Jody Bolduc

ReBuilding the stone walls there!! Beautiful place!!!!

Angelica Jimenez

Used to be such an awesome government owned park. Now you have to pay to park. This was never a thing before. I’m over how there is nowhere to park for free in the Portland area anymore. It’s easier to find free parking in manhattan! You can park outside of the park for free. Great place to watch the sunrise!

Suzanne Colburn

Always a nice place to spend some time by the ocean clean kept and well maintained

Kandi Smith

Awesome! The graffiti on the bunker house was quite a disappointment but other than that was a really neat place to visit.

Kent Sharp

Great views and a neat lighthouse.

Ann Slyer

Came here last year and the year before and you didn't have to pay for parking. I was surprised but happy about it. Just went today and now you have to pay to park anywhere. Not only that but it's $2 per hours with a minimum of 2 hours. $4 isn't a lot of money but it is when my husband and I would just walk around for 15-20 mins and then leave. Drove up to the lighthouse and looked from the car and left. Really disappointed honestly.

Amanda Qumsiyeh

Really nice and clean park. The lighthouse was beautiful to take pictures of, unfortunately it was closed when we got there.

Leslie Waycott

Visited here at the beginning of spring season. It was chilly but worth the extra layer and hats n mittens! The veiws are amazing. We watched a huge freight ship come in with the aid of tug boats. A sight none of my kids or husband had ever seen. We enjoyed the walking trails even tho some were still snow covered and slippery. It was a great stop along our trip of the coast from bar harbor to Hampton beach NH!

Lyn Rowden

One of my favorite parks. It is huge and has everything from a small swimming beach to rugged rocky shore, the gorgeous Portland Head Light to old forts, lovely picnic grounds and easy walking trails. Great for flying kites, sunbathing, playing with kids, group events. Dog friendly! And its free! Even beautiful in the winter.

Shaughnessey McArthur

One of the most photographed places in Maine. Its stunning walk the cliff trail and explore the ruins of the old fort. Off leash friendly section for dogs as well.

Johnathan Emery

Fort Williams is a park that is maintained by the citizens of Cape Elizabeth. Here you'll find the most Iconic of Maine Landmarks, the Portland Headlight. This park is well maintained and even at peak hours in the summer, it shouldn't feel overwhelmingly crowded. As a local this is my main choice for a place to take a walk, and I'd suggest the Cliff Walk (a mile long) to anyone who doesn't mind a couple steep inclines.

Renee Thompson

Great place for large groups! 4 hour minimum for parking at $2 an hour can't be beat! Lots to see. We have our birthday parties here! Go to check out the food trucks, the Lighthouse or see the forts. There are no restrooms with the exception of porta-potties. I am sure these are maintained on a regular basis however due to the bolume of people, they are still pretty gross from my perspective. Hoping the new pay for parking helps with installing real restrooms!

Peter Gailitis

This is a beautiful and scenic park. You do have to pay for parking now as of July 2019, but you won't be disappointed. Currently there are 4 food trucks in the park if you are hungry. Two of them sell lobster rolls, one sells gelato and the other crepes. Absorb the view, watch the boats go in and out of Portland Harbor.

S T

Very clean park. Has a place to.ise the restroom which is great for when you have children. Gorgeous views of the ocean and beautiful walking paths. It also is the location of a stunning lighthouse.

Conor Mack

Gorgeous location, good local food stop here too!

Heather The Hedge Witch

Love this place! So much to do and see and it's very well taken care of!

Yu Liu

This is one stop we made on our way from Arcadia back to Boston. We were not disappointed! The light house is beautiful on the background of blue sky and foreground of summer flowers. The little museum is absolutely worth your time. I learned the orders of light house lenses, and a little bit of the sophisticated optical design. There are many spots you can use for a picnic. Peaceful and relaxing!

Ines Porter

Absoltely beautiful !! The volunteers do an amazing job. Picnic tables....some with grills. Small beach, but very rocky. Old forts. My favorite lighthouse, Portland Head. Pathways throughout. Walkway, around the rock ledge, with a gorgeous view of the ocean and islands. Can have events there also.

Annette yadira Rivera

Amazing view, relaxing and clean areas. A lot of people doing exercises, others enjoyed the beautiful view.

Sarah Baril

My 2 sister's and I with our kids came here to take some pictures last weekend and it was awesome! So beautiful and fun for all ages! It was great! Can't wait to return.

Traci Laffin

We enjoyed the PORTLAND Headlight. And Fort Williams better than the Nubble Light. Dog friendly and more to see and do. Beautiful!!!

Kim Banker

Great playground for the kids after a visit to the lighthouse and fort. Very well maintained.

Gregory Panarese

Beautiful park outside of Portland. Plenty of space for activies or to lounge. Grounds are well kept and clean.

yeshads

An unplanned visit prooved a fantastic outing. The old light house and surrounding areas are beautiful and worth a visit. On the way the fall colours were breathtaking experience.

Jeremy Hank

Such a beautiful park and full of history! Between this park or going to Two Lights, I highly suggest visiting this one.

Jessica Simpson

One of the most beautiful places you can visit! If you wear shoes for walking, be sure to go on the Cliff Walk. The views change as you proceed and on a clear day they are breathtaking. Also, it's always colder and windier here, so take an extra layer, especially in the shoulder seasons. If you have children, or even if you don't, be sure to visit the Children's Garden. Thousands of perennials were planted and in summer and fall, it's spectacular. It has a frog pond with stepping stones, bridges, waterfalls, water pump, tree house, bear caves etc. Remember that this park is carry in/carry out! No trash cans and only port-a-potty's, so plan accordingly! Much of the flower beds and landscaping is maintained by volunteers with Friends of Ft Williams, a non-profit foundation. Check out their website for beautiful pictures and to make a donation. Enjoy your visit.

Lily Vincent

Absolutely beautiful place to walk around and the pond, baseball field, lighthouse, and rocks make it so you can make it a full day trip. Parking does cost money, but it's not dreadful.

Chris Pratt

This is a wonderful place to explore, view the ocean, see not one but two lighthouses, picnic, walk, bring kids, and take photos. There are a lot of pathways to different rocky areas with direct contact with the ocean, but be advised that some are not easy to access and can be dangerous. Not all of the paths are accessible to those with walking/mobility aids, but a good sum of the park has paved walking areas. Also, some areas of the fort/house are blocked off with fencing, but that doesn’t ruin the experience.

Dulcey Darville

Beautiful park ! Awesome location for a picnic, family reunion or wedding. Gorgeous coastal views

Naomi Martin

This is one of my favorite places in the world. I reccomend coming toward sundown for a beautiful sunset over the water- plus then you will see the lighthouse lit. The natural beauty of the coast rocks and shore and flowers and hills make the settling dramatic and stunning. Don't miss this! NOTE: though this place is free, parking is $2/hr with a 2 hr minimum. So, $4. Worth it, but I frankly believe that state parks should have free parking.

Brendon Bean

Well maintained park. Recently new paved parking area. (was Gravel) News says the parking area will paid parking soon to arrive before the summer tourist season. Overall still a good place to visit, have a picnic, gather with family or visit the historic Portland Headlight lighthouse.

Michael Perez

Popular spot. Great, if you like lighthouses.

Daisy G

What a beautiful park! Lovely coastal walk with views of the lighthouse. The people that work here are the best thing about it though. They went completely out of their way to jump start our car when the battery died. Complete superstars. Thank you!

april tibbetts

Fantastic time. Beautiful sites and big cruise ships! Amazingly taken care of. Thank you

Larry Strange

great trails and scenery. just $2/hr to park and no admission fee.

Kelly Serfes

Been going here my entire live and it gets better and better every year. One of the best places in Maine to visit!

Matt C

Lovely park, good parking, clea. And tidy and good selection of food vans. No bins/trash cans, I get the idea why, but not sure I agree!

Austin Bridges

Meeting the MBHC group but I was Not Notified of Where I was supposed to meet them!!!!

Cassandra Field

BEAUTIFUL. Lots of places to walk. They're currently re-paving a lot of the sidewalks though (may 2019) so be ready to go around certain areas. Great place to fly a kite!

Namrata Bilurkar

Beautiful sunrise, easy to find and an amazing experience. My friends and I were able to park nearby and hardly needed to walk for 2 minutes to catch this beautiful sunrise.

SAW antz

This place was absolutely gorgeous.

Logan H

Fort Williams Park is such a beautiful area on a Casco Bay. Seeing the Portland Head Light in person was such a great moment and you will take some of the most beautiful photos at the Fort Williams Park area. We plan to go back for their annual Cape Elizabeth Garden Tour just so we can have more beautiful photos of the area to cherish forever. Please be respectful of others and pick up your trash. This area is too beautiful to ever leave litter behind.

Jason J Miller

Amazing views with much to explore and really nice walking paths... most with a gorgeous view and plenty of open and secluded spots to sit and enjoy the view or reflect. Crowd seemed generally friendly and respectful where if you found a place to sit or pause for a views no one was breathing down your neck waiting for you to move and kept a peaceful, respectful distance. You can enjoy a short walk or stay for hours and find places to sit or picnic and hang out. A few safer areas where you can climb down towards the water on some rocky beds that are fun to explore and of course contribute your rock stacking talent to the various piles all over. But please always be respectful by not throwing the rocks or knocking other rock piles down.. only one with authority to do that is mother nature! Word of caution .. there are no boundaries, kids can walk right up to ledges that are, to say the least on returnable from. Part of the sheer beauty of the park is that it is in it's natural unencumbered state. Respect is healthy and there are so many safe places for kids to run, jump and climb. Wonderful place.

brett saltzman

This place was great. Plenty to walk around and see with history signs about the fort. Lighthouse with gift shop and food truck with low cost parking

Jennifer Molloy

You can't come to maine and not visit ft Williams and the portland headlight. Best place around to fly a kite. Great place.for family reunions or office picnics Awesome first date spot Check for free live music and fireworks

Jeff Howe

Lovely seaside park to stroll, hang out, relax, get a lobster roll, or check out the lighthouse.

tony narvaez

First time visiting Portland, Maine and my first time visiting Fort Williams Park. Great scenery and delightful experience. Also visited the old port and the south port of Maine. My next stop is Boston, MA. Until next time

Don Wynn

The park is nice enough but I do have one complaint about parking. The issue is that the parking is somewhat limited in terms of available spaces and there are not enough of the kiosks that are used to make payment. Lines form in front of these kiosks as people try to get through the process.

Robert Siebert

Beautiful place to visit and walk around. Also beautiful wedding spot. My wife officiated several here and another one scheduled in a couple weeks.

Brandon Hicks

This is an amazing place! Great views and calm surroundings.

Sharon Bollinger

The Lights (Lighthouses) of Maine are worth seeing!!!

Cassandra Ericson

This is such a beautiful and special place. It’s a great family outing. The lighthouse has a museum inside. There’s a gift shop, food trucks, an old fort, a beautiful beach full of ocean-rounded rocks, and tons of rolling grass and rocky cliffs overlooking the ocean. You can walk around here for hours. It’s a great place for photography too. And there’s an open-air space that looks like it’s for party rentals atop the hill.

Brad Thigpen

Just an awesome park with beautiful views

Mary D.

It's a great place to enjoy the ocean. There's a beach if you like swimming. A beautiful lighthouse to see. A walking path. Fabulous place to have a picnic with your family.

Google Account

Nice park, great views and trails.

jeff simpson

Kids love walking on the rocks and beach, great views.

John Stepp

Gorgeous view. Even if it's chilly, it's lovely.

Angela Handy

Absolutely love this place! Love the ocean

Room Class

Wow this place is really fantastic!! This is a great place to stay and also a nice place to look at and take photographs on a very sunny day too.

Mike Schofield

Clean park, open year round. Great place.

Camden White

There are no trash cans but it is an awesome view

Christopher Clayton

Beautiful light house and classic Maine landscape.

Cyber Techie

This is a great place to see and take pictures. The rock formations are amazing and there are nice trails to be able to take in may different views of the lighthouse. You cannot go into the lighthouse, but parking is cheap. Only $2 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. There is also a separate parking lot, away from the lighthouse, by a small beach area that you can swim in the water if you like. Paid parking in the one lot should allow you to move you car to the other since it is in the same park and you put a validated receipt on your dash that is time stamped when your paid parking expires.

Brad Thomas

Amazing park. Great place to shoot photography. I can't wait to come back.

Chris York

So disappointing... 30 years ago this place has so many more forts that you could go in to, but now it's a.... Well not a good place. Go to Popham Beach. At least there are better forts and more of them.

Patrick Ross

We enjoyed a nice walk along the rocky coast. A couple signs explain the historical purpose and use of the fort, which protected Portland's harbor until the First World War.

Marvin B.

Astounding lighthouse with rocky shoreline background. Picturesque at its finest

Paul Labbe

Have been going here for decades. They really should start metering spaces and generate monies for upkeep of park and it will allow more spaces to be freed up. Also the old mansion should be rehabed and opened to the public as a historical artifact to the maritime history of the area.

Rory Benjamin

Without a doubt one of the best and most beautiful parks in the greater Portland area to visit. A stunning cliff walk, off-leash areas for dogs, and a nice variety of food vendors in the summer time. Free admission and no parking fees for such a location is a rarity nowadays.

Elizabeth Foley

One of the best spots in Southern Maine. It's a great place to take a walk, explore, or have a picnic. A really photogenic spot, too!

Patrick Donovan

Wonderful park. New pay system is easy.

Richard Agee

Beautyful as always. A must see.

crazzyass2024

Nice place to go bring the family nice place to eat lunch and check out the fort and go fishing

Tina cummington

Nice overall park. Lots of room to move around. But no shade. Bring sunblock. Wear hats. Bring a canopy.

David Jordan

Such a cool place. Nice cliff walk.

Frank Hodson Jr.

A wonderful seaside park. A great venue for weddings and picnics.

Joel Couch

Views of the lighthouse and waves thrashing the rocky coast are the big attraction. Also dog owners convene to stroll with their pets. There are open areas here that allow many forms of play.

Brittany Smith

This park has such a beautiful view of both the lighthouses, the ruins of buildings, and the ocean. It is definitely worth making the trip to see, especially since it is free. Although pets are allowed there are no trash cans to throw away your pets stool.
