REVIEWS OF Mammoth Cave National Park IN Kentucky

Such a great vacation. Did several cave tours and a hike. Can't wait to go back. We had a group with a small child, a medium child, two fit people and 2 not fit people and we were able to fit in tours to accommodate everyone. Wish they had more vegetarian food in the vicinity, but we anticipated this and brought some.

bill wright

Camp ground was very clean and well kept. Camp store was well stocked with most things you would need. I wasn't happy about having to pay for shower use with quarters. Showers are on a timer so when it runs out you better be rinsed and ready to go or have extra quarters. Park was beautiful and the staff was great.

Sarah Leshay

Absolutely breathtaking. We went on three different times while here and each was amazing. All the tours were different (Historic Tour, Great Onyx Lantern, and Domes & Dripstones). The rangers were fantastic with their stories and experience. We saw so much and there is so much more to see. Our 7 year old really was impressed as well and there was limited complaining about the stairs.

Kristina Breitling

We visited the park in July and did the Historic Cave Tour. Although it was 90F+ degrees out that day the cave is always a cool 54F almost all year round so be sure to remember to bring a sweater. The tour took you through the great room, narrow channels, and displays of stalagmite formations. It was well worth taking one of the guided tours because they offered historical facts about each area of the cave.

John Weaver

Great adventure. Caves were awesome. Park Rangers were friendly helpful and very knowledgeable.

Ashley Honeycutt

Great outdoor adventure. Caves are vast and beautiful with a dozen different types of tours to choose from. There's also hiking, camping, kayaking, canoeing, cabins, and lots of wildlife!

Savannah Madison

Lots to do here! A super neat experience. Very chilly in the cave though, even in the summer. May need a jacket.

Eric Covell

This place is great in the summer. The caves are 54 degrees....so they say anyway. I was quite comfortable in shorts and t-shirt. My son was happy to have pants and a long sleeve shirt.

Cpt Noobz

Reserve a cave tour Before your visit they fill up completely sometimes. BIG cave, nice visitor center with history, exhibits, and 2 nice gift shops.

Glenn Fuller

The sheer scale of the caves are breathtaking. Wide variety of tours offered, to suit anyone that has an interest in experiencing the wonders of nature. Very knowledgeable tour guides/Rangers too.

Kevin Perry

Good memory as as kid arriving there and exploring the caves and grounds. The whole area is an amazing site and I consider it a national treasure. Most definitely worth your time to visit.

Eric Leshay

Amazing cave system that can really only be experienced in person. Entering the cave requires buying tour tickets which you should purchase online ahead of time. During our visit we took three tours and all were excellent: the historic tour, onyx lantern tour and domes and dripstones. Of the three Onyx was the best.

Chrome Spirit

Various tours to select from. Some tours can be a bit crowded, but it is the largest cave system in the world. Also lots of hiking trails and a wooded campground. A must see.

Nathan Brady

Hadn't been here since I was a kid, and I came back to bring my own! They really make this place kid friendly so they can learn amazing things about nature.

Hunter Dixon

The most attractive female park rangers I have ever encountered. Great caves.

Jennifer H

This was actually a really cool tourist attraction. We found it randomly driving through Kentucky and decided to pop in. We went on the free tour, which lasted around an hour or so. It was chilly in the cave even though it was August! Very informative.

Molly Rosenak

Campsites were clean and well maintained.. no real firewood only sold starter kits (didn’t bring our own due to the national movement ti not spread tree diseases amongst forests & the online campsite states it was available for purchase).. the cave tours on other hand were a 5 star rating well worth visit to see them

Matt No

Great place and great views. Make sure you order your tours online first though or there is a good chance they will be sold out. Bring a camera and good hiking shoes!

Doug N

Beautiful place and I highly recommend the cave tour. The tours fill up fast so be sure to book before your arrival!

C. S. Tappen

Awesome park. Only did one tour but can't wait to go back sometime. I feel like we left so much unseen.

Tom Kennedy

Loved it. Rented cabins with the family. Seven of us went. I am not an outdoorsy person but I would do it again. After the shock of being cut off from electronics wore off even my 12 year old daughter and 15 year old niece had a great time.

Jennifer Jackson

Just amazing. They aren't even done exploring it. There are still parts no one has ever been to!

Key Gib

Domes and Dripstomes tour was an awesome walking tour! We had a small group, which was perfect. The campsites were well kept and felt separate from the surrounding campsites. Price for campsite was a little steep at $20 though. THE BATHROOMS WERE THE CLEANEST I HAVE EVER SEEN AT A NATIONAL PARK - caps are needed to express how amazing the bathroom were! Would recommend this national park.

Colleen Dunleap

Hate to leave this magical piece of Earth. Such amazing sights above and below ground. Was sad to see some disrespectful guests smoking and the display of some casual racisms, but that was not the fault of the park. Highly recommend staying for a night or for a bite. The food and accommodations were above and beyond any previous expectations.

Debbie Grosvenor

Been here several times and still amazed. We had the best guide this last visit. They didn't mention how the caves were formed over millions of years. I appreciated that because we believe in a young earth view. I don't like it when they promote their evolution religion/THEORY.

Eric

Amazing trip below the surface of the earth where the ranger talks are informative yet comical at times. Got to see a bat in its environment and experienced total blackout. Highly recommend!

Jen Conley

I suggest booking a tour if you're able to because the rangers are so knowledgeable and the history of this beautiful place is fascinating. We were traveling with little kids so we did the accessible tour which is well lit but also shorter so when your kid asks, "how much longer is this?" you can say, "not to much longer" and have it be the truth! If we'd been traveling without kids, we would've done a longer tour. There is a self guided tour which we also did and that has 160 steps coming out of it so not too bad comparatively but if you're a step tracker, maybe you can earn a badge coming out on that climb! The self guided tour is one that can take as long as you want it to really. It's beautiful inside the cave and takes a moment for eyes to adjust. There were rangers everywhere in the park which was nice to see. If a question ever came up, there was always someone nearby with an answer. As it turns out, bats do not listen to Kiss inside the cave. Ranger Stephen gently delivered that news to our 5 yr-old. Also, we did not see Bigfoot.

Sean McCambridge

These aren’t the most beautiful caves in America. But experiencing a small breath of the vast Kentucky underworld is worth the trip. The hikes are pretty, too.

Diedra Dooley

Had a great time. We stayed in the historic cabins and it was very quiet. Since the are near 100yrs old don't expect the Marriott. Great for a couple but just know that you need to keep all food and snacks sealed up. We kept everything in our cooler and the mini fridge with no mice and issues. Also die to age and the stone foundation expect to see a snake or 2 on it around the stone steps. The ranger talks in the evening at the ampitheatre are varied and interesting. I also suggest the wild cave tour but only if you are healthy, in decent shape and adventurous. It was harder than I expected but lived every minute. Also for any mountain bikers heading that way check out the big hollow loops North and South they drain extremely well after a hard rain. Pretty easy trails but still fun at around 11 miles to do both loops.

Kyle Otis

Family friendly. Must see. Also a must to go on multiple tours. The story's the guides give are truly amazing.

Sush Joshi

Great place. We took the ranger guided tours and also the self guided tour which is open for all. The guided tours need to be booked either earlier or when you reach there. Ticket amounts vary as per the tour you book. But these tours are absolutely worth the efforts. We got to see some really beautiful and astonishing views and the Frozen Niagara tour was amazing !! This is the longest cave system in the world !!

Amanda Whitt

Absolutely loved it!! The tour guides were all amazing, very energetic, funny, and really good the time to answer questions. Tours are great definitely recommend reserving tour weeks in advance they sell out quick.

Gregory Stiller

My second visit was more memorable. You have to see this place. Enormous .! They are still finding new caves even today. The Rangers were very informative and cordial. I still don't understand how they put up with the millions of crying, screaming children and obnoxious teen and adults trying to deface and destroy this beautiful place.

Samuel Waguespack

Beautiful place to visit. If you've got the time and endurance, go for the longer tours rather than the most basic ones. Also: BOOK IN ADVANCE!! That's not just a suggestion, you don't want to make the drive out just to find out there are no tours available.

Ryan Haenny

What a great National Park! We took the longest tour they offer and I wish it was longer! I'd love to go exploring into the deep depths of these caves but I guess the guided tour will have to do. Not physically exerting but they do have tours that can be so read up on the one you choose to take before you commit to it!

Matthew Key

fly fisherman. Of the only parks of it's kind. Ky is hot as the ground below in summer, but you can go here and it's better than sitting in the ac. Go past an entrance or hole and it feels like like a jet engine blowing fresh cold air hundreds of feet from them.

Allison Costello

The rangers are incredibly knowledgeable. We did the Frozen Niagara tour. It wasn't too strenuous, but it was beautiful. Amazing views!

Norma Arnold

I’ve read a lot about Mammoth Cave so I had high hopes. My family and I were not disappointed. Great hiking trails. There are several different types of cave tours ranging from really easy to pretty difficult. There’s something for everyone. Beautiful country!!

Tre Cumbow

Amazing tours with a very fun knowledgeable staff. The your prices were good and the sights are out of this world! Make sure to book tours in advance as this can be a very popular destination.

Karthik R

I was here in 23/24 May 2015 and i really liked this place. You have to walk a lot. There are few cave tours to explore.

Thom Sisson

Book ahead for your cave tour, they sell out fast. Be sure to enjoy the surrounding nature trails as well. A gorgeous park with lots of wildlife.

Christina Blust

This is an amazing geological feature in a well-run national park. You will never see anything else like this anywhere. Be sure to order your tickets for cave tours online in advance as they sell out often.

V&C M

Gorgeous... Book your trips before you come... Well worth it.. when the tour says strenuous they mean it

Harry Ginnery

Great for the family. Loved the lantern tour. Three hours of fun and adventure. Lots of trails, and activities.

Jared Wells

It was a great experience! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history and geography of the caves. The caves are very diverse so each your shows very different types of features. The trails above ground aren't the best but that's not the point of this national park.

Evan Finkbohner

Very cool cave to visit, I went on the mammoth passage tour. I would recommend being in average physical condition if you choose this tour since there are 2 large stair cases to go down and back up. The cave itself has a very nice wow factor of how large some of its chambers are, but other than that it's not very interesting. Nice place to visit once and take some cool pictures.

Sean Fournier

Tons of fun. The staircase into the cave is ultimately safe but it is slippery and caution is required. If you've got issues with tight spaces or have claustrophobia then this probably isn't a thing for you. If you like seeing amazing things of the natural world, go for it.

Cheryl Ann

Excellent... no other cave like it. We especially enjoyed the Gothic Avenue Tour and Star Chamber Tour, which were very strange and fascinating. We did not enjoy the Frozen Niagara Tour because it was so crowded and rather similar to other cave tours we've taken elsewhere.

Tometha Weber

Very nice. Did the Historical tour. Kinda boring. Might suggest a different one. Wear good walking shoes, hoodie or jacket and water.

David Stark

Did the Historic Tour and the Frozen Niagara tour. Historic tour is about two hours long, with some tight squeezes, but very interesting. Frozen Niagara tour is much shorter and easier, but shows vastly different cave features. Both well worth the effort!

James Snyder

A very unique experience. A must stop for anyone on vacation in Kentucky. If you're in shape and have time, the wild cave tour is highly recommended. Be sure to make reservations in advance during peak season!

Eduard Hernàndez

Took the historic tour. It is fantastic. The ranger Kelli provided information in a very clear manner. The caves are indeed massive, have not seen anything like this before. On the minus side, the group was too large, having less people would make the experience even better.

Rebecca Fisette

Great place to visit. Online reservations encouraged but not necessary. We had to wait a few hours for a tour.

Ronald Lindsey

Super experience! Clean! Very knowledgeable guides! Great kids Junior Ranger program. My 9 year old granddaughter learned so much! I was amazed. Great for a family. Some of the tours can be strenuous however so pick and choose wisely. Campground is nice too! Very quiet and well maintained! I definitely recommend!

Kimmarie Baker

We had a great day!! Self Tour was nice for our first visit. Only thing is they should tell you about the half mile walk down hill to get there and half mile walk up hill to get back. Some people may have trouble with it.

Dave Mutogi

JUST AMAZING! Gothic trail was awesome! Out guide was amazing, honest, and knowledgeable. Every question but the group folks was answered quickly. You must go, then eat lunch at the grill and then get ice cream from the Lodge!!!

Amy Lawson

We have been to Mammoth Cave several times. Every tour has been interesting, the guides know their facts and have great stories. There is a great variety of tours to choose from.

Harry Papagianis

Fun! Rangers had a lot of cool knowledge about the cave. My 6yo became a junior ranger. My 10 yo loved the historical information.

Seth Dugger

Had a great time. Some Tours sell out fast get there early for your spot. Will be back soon to do the rest

Gay Y

We took a 2 hour tour and with the 280 steps going down a twisting narrow staircase you need to be certain of your stamina before starting. But, that said, the caves are impressive in size and history. They lack the beautiful limestone deposits of other caves, like the Ohio Caverns, but we weren't expecting them.

Nicolette Weil

Had an awesome time! Went on the extended historical tour in the morning and followed up with the domes and dripstones after lunch. Temp is about 59°F in the caves so plan accordingly depending on how active your tour will be. (I was glad to have worn pants for the first longer tour but was wishing for shorts for the above ground portion of the second).

Daniel Massey

What an amazing place to go! It is a little out there, but you can't find beautiful nature and geological wonders anywhere else in the world. It's truly amazing. There were many tours to choose from. Some were longer or shorter. Some were more hard or easy. Other were more or less scenic. There were so many options. There are many gift stores in the visitors center. The drive up in the countryside is beautiful. Make sure you get there with time to spare before your tours. Overall everything was well kept up and beautiful. Ranger Mary is the best!

P S

We visited Mammoth cave along with hidden river and diamond caverns. The historic tour was enthralling. Rangers and tour guides were very informative. The caves were majestic themselves, lots of hollow space with lights and chillness beneath 130 ft off ground level-- adventurous crevices and spaces, intermittent dripping of water-- even flowing water here and there -- it was huge and entertaining. As the name says, this is the longest and most entertaining cave in the world. Totally enjoyed!

Julie Sinko

Mammoth Cave is a must-see for all. Several different tours to take and different caves to venture into. It's amazing what happens underneath our soil and the rocks with water. Moisture temperature and our ecosystem. It's just simply cool and I was there 46 years earlier when I was a teenager. Great exhibits on the history of the men and the Darkness they were in discovering these Caverns

Hay Its Tay

Absolutely amazing national park. My girlfriend and i took the self guided tour and domes and drips stones tour. The self guided tour may have been short but was still very interesting. By far though the second tour was the best. The staff here and super friendly and helpful, and the cave is a great place to be when its hot out 10/10 would take more tours.

Anthony G

Loved it! I would say it's on par with Mount Rushmore, but it's underground. Put this on your bucket list, you won't be disappointed. ***Note, lots of walking and stairs.

Nicholas Little

Took the Frozen Niagara tour and walked a trail or two. Weather was great and our guide was even better. On our way from Columbus, OH to Nashville. It was the perfect afternoon stop to split the trip for our family of five.

Irandira Gonzalez

I did the wild cave tour and it was amazing. Mammoth cave has so many different tours and events you can do. It was literally unbelievable how cool it was. None of my friends wanted to do the wild cave tour so I did it alone and it was amazing the host was very knowledgeable and polite. Simply great I definitely wanna do it again. But be ready to have bruises if you do a wild cave tour. Also they have great souvenirs! You actually don’t even have to spend any money if you don’t want to there’s a lot to do outside it’s just a great place

dustin chandler

We have done a lot of caves (Idaho, Montana, Arkansas, Belize), This was a very unique experience being in a cave with such a long history of regular visiting. We did the Violet city lantern tour and it was very cool.

C Johnson

Went on the wild cave tour with Elizabeth and Chris, great experience all around. Will hopefully be able to come back again. One issue, there are some campsites set aside for walk-in, but registration is not until noon - this is slightly inconvenient when you are going to be on a 6 hour underground tour that starts at ten am.

Mandy Smith

I am amazed by the effort and work that went into making this cave accessible to me and to others. It is truly breathtaking.

William Noble

If want a true challenge then do the Wild tour! 5 miles of tight spaces and no sun in 6 hours. Space so tight you have to crawl on your stomach and turn you head to fit through. Best adventure of my life.

Valerie Ledgerwood

We did the 4 hr Grand Ave tour. It was amazing and if you are able, I highly recommend it! There were 2 places to stop and use the restroom, also there were an additional 2 spots the guide stopped to talk to us about the history, etc. it really did go faster than you would think. Also, you finish at the frozen Niagara area, which is definitely the highlight of it! Know you limitations, as some places were slippery and difficult to navigate. However there was a couple, she was 90% blind and he was limited physically as they were in their 80’s. They were slower than the group and had some difficulty in areas, but they did the whole tour! If they can do it, you can! Note, there are some areas that are about 2 ft wide or less. An obese person would have difficulty in certain spaces. There were about 80 ppl in the tour but it wasn’t overcrowded, surprisingly. It’s around mid 50’s in the be, so bring a sweatshirt and have good sneakers or hiking boots that grip.

Allison Wooldridge

Some friends and I went on the Grand Avenue tour and had a great experience! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. All of the facilities were very clean and well managed. I will be schedule more trips in the future!

Loren Armitage

Fantastic place. Went on the Historic Tour and can't wait to go back again for more. Tour guide was skilled, friendly, and knowledgeable. Pathway on Historic Tour is definitely a bit of physical challenge, and would not recommend if you suffer from claustrophobia.

Anedra Shafer

Great cave system, beautiful nature, no water or snacks in the main building so if you are diabetic or have medical issues be prepared. I needed to buy water and couldn't. Gift shop and park store are high priced. Lots of neat stuff though.

Steven Blakley

If you haven’t been here, you need to. I’ve been many times over the last 40 years. Love it

Shannon Maus

Had a wonderful time exploring Mammoth Cave! We took the Historic Tour and the Domes and Dripstones Tour. They are both amazing, but very different. I would recommend seeing both!

James A. Glover

Awesome cave system. Took the Historic tour this time, disabled veteran 8.50 cost. Two hour tour was excellent, 300 feet down to forth level (out of five). Definitely do it again, or maybe the Gothic.

Thinh Nguyen

The place is good for a family trip. You can also rent canoe to enjoy the Green River also. For cave tour, always try to reserve online on recreation.gov in advance because they are usually sold out, especially on weekends and holidays.

Mark Shibish

What a great National Park! Enjoyed the discovery tour very much. Tour guide/park ranger did a great job. If we had time for the 6.5 hour tour I would definitely do it. You feel the history walking through the dim lit caves, knowing how many before you walked through them. If your in the area and have a few hours stop in for the tour. I recommend booking in advance or coming at 8:00am to reserve a spot.

Ryan Joseph

Incredible cave system. Just wish the tours were longer. Passages inside the caves between the caverns can be extremely narrow. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who's obese or taller than 5'10. Besides that its a must see if you're ever in Kentucky.

Sam Katz

This was my first cave national park- I highly recommend! It was super fun, not terribly strenuous (but there are a few steep parts). And the history inside was wild- there's a signature from the civil war!

Timothy Chae

Unique place. Cave guides are awesome. They need to work on equally distribute lanterns during tour though.

Patrick Grubbs

We stopped by just on a whim and all the tours were sold out we highly recommend making reservations to get the full affect of the cave. Lots to do in the area boating climbing and swimming simply a great place to go but plan ahead

Soundkill S

Definitely a must if your in the area. Cool tours on hot days. do the longest tour you have time for.

Mary Donegan-Ritter

Fascinating and interesting! I was pleased at how knowledgeable our guide was and how organized this park is. I recommend making reservations in advance. I’m glad we did! All the guided tours sold out for the holiday weekend.

Chad Carber

Reserve your cave tour in advance! We just showed up b4 10:00 and all the tours were sold out until mid-afternoon. But the self-guided experience was still amazing, and well worth the $6. An incredible natural wonder!

Christin Shaji

Being one of the largest cave systems in the US, a great place to visit with family and friends. Beautiful rock structures, combined with the rich history of the cave narrated by seasoned rangers makes the trip well worth it.

Jason R

Easily a place that one could spend an entire week at alone, touring each of the cave paths, learning about the history of each. Largest cave system in the world, and more cave space to be explored and document, for those of you eager enough to volunteer to do such.

Christy Wilkerson

Absolutely AMAZING!!! Well worth it to go on one of the guided tours! Also a great place to get in some beautiful hiking with an opportunity to see so much wildlife, I saw several deer and squirrels! Above ground is dog friendly, below not allowed, reasonably. We will be back!

Keith Privé

One of the most breathtaking national parks in the US. There are miles of trails and nature on the surface and vast caverns underground. I highly recommend taking longer tours of the caves, as some of the shorter ones don’t see a fraction of the amazing natural beauty.

Jessica Olds

This cave it's self is incredible. The park rangers Charlie & Jenna are so bored and tired of their jobs they make it hard to enjoy.

Wesley Flatt

Ranger Aaron did an amazing job telling his stories that could be fact or fiction. This place offers everything outdoors from hiking, bike riding, and overnight lodging. All of the tours of the cave seem like a delight, but the one I chose was the extended history tour. Highly recommend this tour as you see a lot of the formations in the cave.

Matt Hanesworth

Incredible place to experience in person. Several of the tours are a lot of fun. Wear good shoes. So many people had a tough time due to wearing uncomfortable outfits. Plan ahead.

R M

Went on the self exploratory tour and it was incredible. Make sure you wear proper foot attire and clothing. It's about 60 degrees down in the cave.

James Duane

A natural wonder located in one of the most scenic areas of the country. Do the tours, respect the caves, explore the area, and enjoy mother nature.

Benjamin Arnold

Plenty of tour options, great camping for $20 a night (tent sites) right next to the caves. Very different but beautiful as most of the caves are dry.

Tobie Smith

I've been four times and have enjoyed it each time. The guided tours are fantastic.

Atul Chaudhari

Plenty of butterflies in summer. Park rangers are super nice and very well informed. All tours are fun. I missed some, so planning to visit once again to go spelunking. Must visit and spend couple of days here.

Michelle Massa

Took 3 tours: historic, domes and dripstones, and star chamber. I have to say that we had so much fun. This is something I might come back again to see, but these tours covered a large portion of what I wanted to see. The rangers who work here are so helpful and amazing. The grill has good food if you are hungry and there is even an ice cream shop. The cave is a must see!

David Grubb

Amazing!! Great trip for hot summer day as cave is very cool. Let your imagination run wild here! Thank you Uncle Sam for this wonderful place!!!

Brandon Evans

It a beautiful place to stop by and explore, especially if you know the map and see all the hidden history. The cave is definitely giant, but it's not as pretty as the smaller caves around. If you stop by, definitely explore above ground too!

Christopher Anderson

Its a great experience for anyone! They have multiple cave tours in a beautiful area. The park rangers are incredibly helpful and funny at the stories they tell down in the caves.

Alicia Collegnon

This was so fun! Word to the wise, take a sweatshirt or light jacket. It's only 54* down there. We took our 3 boys on a two hour your, it was great!

Ravann Murphy

Absolutely stunning! Stayed at the cottages on the grounds that are cute and comfy. The tour guides for the park are informative and the history behind so many parts of this cave was astonishing!

Jonas Dornseifer

The caves have very interesting geological structures and are fun to walk through. Much of the park is only accessible via tours. During my visit I checked out the Grand Avenue Tour, which I absolutely do not recommend. The hiking through the caves was very rushed and there was not a lot of time to take all of it in. Whenever there was a pause the tour guide would do his story telling sessions, which quite frankly were not very engaging. Perhaps the tour would be better,i the hiking pace was slowed down and fewer story telling sessions.

Maya Snyder

Wonderful place to introduce cave exploration to children! Our guide (wish we remembered his name, other than he is of thin built) was terrific and so good with children! 2 little boys came up in front by us and and asked him so many questions and shared stories with him and he was just so wonderful with them as he was with the entire group! Highly recommend!

J Luna

I've been going since I was a kid. I've sleazy loved it, it's great for caving, tours, or just hiking. It really does have a lot to offer everyone!

Lonzie Locklear

Great experience for kids and all ages alike. Would love to try another tour. We did the historic tour and the story telling and park rangers were awesome.

Andy Brodbeck

Great time for people of all ages. HIGHLY Recommend booking tours early in the summer time. Otherwise you might now get in.

William Brown

It is beautiful, You see an abundant amount of wildlife. Love taking kids there to let them see the wildlife.

Rachel Greba

Mammoth Cave is a great place to go, especially for the locals who want to explore their own area. The cave is massive and it's hard to realize how big it is till you are down there. There are tons of other things to do that you will pass driving to Mammoth Cave, that would be great for a weekend getaway.

Leilani Silvio

Book your experience in advance if you can. The 4 hour tour is cool, but long. You may prefer a shorter one. You can spend 60-90 mins at the Visitor Center reading and learning, so plan ahead!

Josh B

Ranger Jeff was a great tour guide, and Grand Avenue was absolutely stunning! I wish we had time to do more tours!

Sharon Doyle

So exciting to tour part of the largest underground cave network in the world. Amazing history in a grand place. The Tour Guides are excellent. We took the 2 hour historical tour, which was perfect. I am so glad we visited.

Lorraine Bennett

I haven't been to many caves but this was very informative, interesting, a little bit challenging to climb and squeeze through some rocks. Amazing that they have been able to maintain and preserve this so well. Worth the price of admission.

Kevin Doe

Beautiful National Park and Caves. There are tons of free walking trails and paths, and parking at the visitor's center is free too. We took 5 different cave tours while here on vacation, and they were all very interesting and had great views. The Park Rangers have tons of knowledge and were very nice. The gift shops had some cool stuff too.
