This is a cool little stop in the road. The flowers surrounding it are beautiful as well.

Trina Smoke

Such a unique hidden gem. A lot of history in 1 wall. I wonder if it will have to be moved due to build up of the neighborhood and traffic. It is literally placed in the center of the road.

Lonnie Perry

Beautiful facade. I can only imagine what the rest of the home look like.

Not much to see - it really is just a facade - but has some historical significance locally.

Can't wait to go take more pics there with more people. I love that there's a parking lot off to the side for quick stops

If we don't learn from the past, we're destined to repeat the same mistakes. Take some time to read the interesting story behind this beautiful home façade. It's not a sad story just one worth learning from. Considering the melting pot of the USA. Be carefully the home is surrounded by road on all sides.

The Heigold House Facade is one of those unusual sites in Louisville. It is at the entrance of Frankfort Avenue from River Road. It just draws people with the its uniqueness. Our visitors to this city love to take out their camera and snap a photo. While I was there today, I noticed for the first time that our new Botanical Garden will be across the street from it.
