Team of Dreams at the Field of Dreams site...always a great trip! It may not be Heaven, but it is certainly magical. ❤ If you love baseball, or you have a lost loved one whom you wish you could see again, the Field of Dreams gets in your heart and takes up permanent residence.

I stop here at least twice a year and today I was lucky to catch a “Ghost Sunday”. It was great to watch the players walk out of the corn and play a round of ball with kids that they pick from the crowd. Always a great place for a baseball lover and a lover of the movie.

Valerie Kennedy

Fantastic! Such an awesome place to visit.

Just a fun little stop in Iowa with a great story.

A little nostalgia plus a few geocaches. Got to see some players have a photo shoot. Ghostbusters even made an appearance.

Kyra McCarthy

I have always loved the movie Field of Dreams, and to be able to see it on real life is amazing!

Never Promised tomorrow

Just fantastic. Took the house tour and Clarence was amazing with the details. Well worth the time

Russell Owen

Passing through Dyersville and had to stop. Arrived late so couldn't tour the house. Nostalgic spot; great movie.

Joe Hurni

Beautifully maintained. Looks just like the movie !

Jane Day

It feels great to walk on the field, we were there at a perfect time when the corn was tall. But, it is maybe a 15 minute visit.

YTCurlyjoe Tv

Everyone there was having a great time, and the tour of the house was great thing to experience!!

Mark Eifert

It is true this is just a baseball diamond in the middle of a corn field, but I took a road trip here with my 3 sons and it was definitely so much more than that. It was just plain magical to be on the field with them playing ball. We stayed a couple of hours and had a great time taking pictures and having fun. The staff (and other guests) we interacted with were all friendly and it just made for a wonderful visit.

Jessi Medina

Just a beautiful place. Well maintained, free to get in.

Al Stoltz

Fun time celebrating the 30th anniversary of the iconic movie!

Kristie Bednarz

Great little roadside stop especially if you love baseball or the movie. Can play catch or hit a couple balls. They had balls here which was good because ours we packed away. Nice views.

Doug Nelson

Awesome site, just like being in the movie!

Curtis Prado

Perfict grass but lacks good facilities and the bridge has sketchy rails. Price of items are okay. The corn looks great.

Madonna Pralle

A baseball field, cornfield and white farmhouse with red Barn and out buildings. A perfect setting in wonderful mid America while visions of "A Field of Dreams" come readily to mind. Imaginations can soar. Love it.

Leopoldo Herrera

Nice place to visit and remembering the movie

Suzette Richards

I loved seeing the team in uniform coming out of the field to play ball.

Jake Wilson

Fun stop definitely worth seeing, glad to see it kept up

Chris Whiteman

Truly a must see part of Americana.

Candy Neumann

It was on my son's bucket list. Got some great photos. Too fun and could walk around for free!

Rebecca Vorwald

We watched the movie with our children, then came here for father's day!! The 30th anniversary celebration was nice!! Great food, fun activities, nice gift shop!! For the of the game!! Baseball FOREVER!!! SO glad we came!

Michael Melton

I drove on from West Branch, IA while visiting for work from Arkansas. I found out the field was only about an hour and half North of my work and decided that I had to go see the field. I got that 20 minutes prior to closing on a Tuesday and the older guy tried to put me to work fixing his irrigation pump (he was waiting on a repair guy who showed up 3 or 4 minutes after me). To see and sit on the bleachers where Karin falls and Doc saves her...I now get chill bumps watching that scene! I would love to take my kids back if we are ever anywhere close on a family trip.

Theresa Lukes

Awesome event!! It's always a bad deal when it rains! Seeing the movie there is the bomb! Can't keep the rain away. Hopefully it doesn't rain the next time.

Ramon Cwu

Very nice experience in the Middle of Corn fields

Beth Hunt

It was fun to visit. Disappointed we didn't get there early enough to tour the home. Times were posted and given, we were just too far away. A group was on the field playing ball which discouraged others from going in the field. Not that we or others couldn't have, but it felt like we were intruding. There was a small souvenir shop. Priced as expected. People were very nice.

Todd Schmidt

My wife cried she loved it so much...spent hours here... The tour is worth it and the place was well kept. Nearly everything you want to experience is free. Worth the time to visit, if you love baseball and/or the movie.

john boyd

Fantastic, it looks just like the movie. I highly recommend it.

Steven Castano

Seriously... it's the freakin Field of Dreams!! It's maintained perfect, the little gift shop is great. On a cross-country road trip this was well worth the stop... I loved it. It's been one of my favorite movies of all time and to go and see it in person, sit there on the bleachers, take some pictures and just laugh and have a good time with everyone else there was such a great way to take a little break from driving! Do yourself a favor, if you liked the movie... drive a little bit out of your way to make the stop!

Mark Guerrero

Beautiful area, heaven for baseball enthusiasts !

Chuck Williams

So glad I stopped here when I was in Iowa!

earldavid reed

Great place!..its really cool to see

Trent Nutter

What a great stop to visit movie history. It's nice that all of this has been preserved for us to experience. What a great experience.

Geoff Upchurch

Wanted to go see it before MLB installed the stadium for next year's game. It's free to park and walk around the field, bring your own gloves and ball if you "wanna have a catch". There are tours of the house, though I didn't go on one.

Shelly Krieg

A bit disappointed. No real tour, just go and see the field. Can your house for a few, but movie wasn't really based on house. Glad we went, but more hype than real attraction.

Dan S

When you're driving across Iowa's backroads and you see a sign for this place, having forgotten that scenes from the movie were indeed filmed here, you can't help but stop in and take the mound. Great stop. Would do it again if in the area, maybe see if I can belt a homer. Bad idea. It would be a quick strikeout.

George West

Worth the stop. Bring your own mitt and ball. Have a catch

Sarah Garrison

Absolutely incredible--looks exactly the same as in the movie⚾

Matt Heuton

This is a really cool place! One of my favorite movies growing up and finally being able to come to this place was awesome! Running the bases and being able to were certain scenes of the movie were filmed was really great! Definitely would like to come back again sometime!

WILLIAM Kozuch

You actually got to be there to see this great field of dreams

Adam Gilmore

Got to play ball on the actual field and play catch with my sons out there. Definitely a top Dad moment. Loved our visit, was just a little too early as the corn had not grown tall yet.

Claudia Reyes

We were there for the 30th anniversary and it was great! We enjoyed touring the house, playing catch and even a little ball game on the beautiful diamond along with other families from different states. We bought souvenirs, took some pretty nice pictures and we watched a fun game between the Ghost players and the Iowa Dream team- Tim Dwight, Dallas Clark, Tyler Lorenzen, Mike Boddicker - to name a few who were there for the celebration. Visit the Field of Dreams - it really feels like Heaven in Iowa.

Zach Goodman

Great place to visit. Worth the stop, especially if you are a fan of the Field of Dreams.

Charles Stevenson

What an opportunity!!!! Loves visiting with my 10 year old and being able to play with all of the other visitors. Highly recommend to young and old.

Lynn Hoffman

Team of Dreams at the Field of Dreams site...always a great trip! It may not be Heaven, but it is certainly magical. ❤ If you love baseball, or you have a lost loved one whom you wish you could see again, the Field of Dreams gets in your heart and takes up permanent residence.

Great throw back and filled with lots of good vibes! Easy to spend some time here with the family. One of my relatives W.P.Kinsella wrote the book Shoeless Joe, that the movie is based on. This has been on my bucket list for a long time. Very iconic farm from the area!

John Moran

Just a truly amazing place to see in person. It's so simple. The field and grass are well kept. You can just wander around on your own. Worth the visit

Jessica Howard

We swung by here and took our pics, and bought a cool magnet. So glad we made the small detour.

John Vargas

A must see if you love the movie! It's a "movie set" but doesnt feel like it. You can run the bases, play catch, go into the corn field lol. You can tour the house and there is a gift shop as well.

Marty Hogan

Great place to visit for the family or for baseball lovers. This place was a bucket list item visit for many reasons. Just walking in the outfield and walking the base paths made the trip worth it. Mt dad has been gone for 27 years and would have given anything to watch him come out of the corn. Corny yep but the place brings that out. Easy to find on Google maps and town has a great diner.

Judy Donahue

Achieved a bucket list location, all for the love of baseball! And the movie! ⚾️

Mike Kinsella

Great throw back and filled with lots of good vibes! Easy to spend some time here with the family. One of my relatives W.P.Kinsella wrote the book Shoeless Joe, that the movie is based on. This has been on my bucket list for a long time. Very iconic farm from the area!

Emily DeBolt

I will never forget this place. Just being there was amazing, but on top of that, I got engaged there! If you love the Field of Dreams movie, this place is a must for your bucket list! Also, take the tour of the house. The tour guide Craig is very knowledgeable and it was a great experience.

Wendy Smith

They serve food but bringing your own would be wise.

Jeff McDonnough

Great place for families especially young ball player's

Andy Nunez

American landmark. This place brings a smile to everyones face. Looking forward to an MLB game played here. The grounds are maintained to perfection and the ghost players make it true 1919 experience. ⚾

Kyle Timmer

It was amazing and even more fun to play on as a baseball team

Ann Satre

Very neat place. Loved that kids were playing on the field with their Dads or Grandpa's.

Steve Cairns

Very good movie, interesting site

Paul bridges

Nice stopover if in area, just like movie, small souvenir shop

Galen

Great movie. Enjoyed going through the cornfields. Best of all it’s free to go there and check it out. You can buy merchandise if you want to. I have been there 3 times so far.

Jacob Lipp

Great experience for the baseball-loving family. I only wish I had our gloves & a ball. Not easy to get find, but worth the trip.

Agnell Colon

Great place that should be part of Road Side America to check out. It's a place for the movie buff that would even more appreciate.

Crystal Murray

Beautiful place and wonderful employees.

Jean Malecha

The site is super if you've seen the movie but the house tour and guide really make the experience fantastic. Sitting on the porch swing and looking out over the field gives you an almost magical sensation.

Jean Winston

Very nostalgic!! Just like being in the movie.

Christopher Zook

My buddy and I just had to go see this place it was a great experience!

Matthew Chase

Really awesome if a movie buff. Friendly and family atmosphere.

Don’t remember the power line going through the middle of the field in the movie

Maria Mosher

There was no spectacular to observe. We got there and we got almost lost with how it was advertised on the movie. The place needs some renovation. Please being blanket cos it's cold and windy.Thank you:)God bless.

Angela Carrel

Fun for kids of all ages to hit or throw the ball around - corn was growing at the perfect height when we were there

Jackie Finnegan

Well worth the detour from our planned route home! Go the distance!! First base! Also, lunch at the Dyersville Family Restaurant was delicious. Fun to dine with the "locals"!

Clayton Niewoehner

Iowa-Corn-Baseball-Midwest-Good People! No, it's not Heaven, but it is an amazing area and story! If you are a baseball fan, and haven't been? Go! If you're a movie buff, Go! You won't regret it... Especially if you get to see the Ghost Players!

Josh Sheppard

Such a great day out! There was truly something special about being on that field... feeling all of the magic of the movie spring to life. We were there for the 30th anniversary today, and it was amazing. Caught a game between the Iowa Dream Team and the Ghost Players, walked the field, toured the house... All I can say, even as someone who is not obsessed with baseball- is that this is a truly great place that should be experienced by everyone! (And you can't beat the price for that magic!)

Don Mueller

I didn't get to see film until I returned from Persian Gulf War in latter 1991. But have been fascinated with the field ever since. Finally got to stand on it in 2019. If you ever played organized hardball at any level, you need to stop in from Apr to Oct for a visit.

Linda Whittington

I didn't know what to expect. Was not prepared for dirt roads leading in. Thot it would be a bit more commercialized. Super nice lady, great guest services. It was extremely manicured. Looked just like pictures. Need to visit once.......

Michelle Hofmann

If you go, you will know

Natalie H

Love! One of my very favorite movies of all time.

John Moran

Just a truly amazing place to see in person. It's so simple. The field and grass are well kept. You can just wander around on your own. Worth the visit

Jeremy Peters

A must see and experience for anyone who loves the movie.

Marc Isaacson

Incredible place for baseball lovers. Could spend several hours here...

Sue Corman

Worth the trip and it's totally free unless you want to make a donation or tour the house! Amazing how they preserved this site, it was like walking on the set. It is worth attending Ghost Player Sunday events, especially with kids. Great stop!!

Graham W

Had to hit this place on motorcycle tour. Free admission. It’s actually a real home and working farm with the “Field” preserved. Got our souvenirs and photos. Glad we stopped in. It made for a nice ride.

michelle imsicke

Loved it!! Super friendly workers, the visitors were great & we enjoyed our tour of the house with our guide, Craig. So neat to see how everything has stayed the same since the movie was made 30 years ago.

Teresa Mack

Just like in the movie! Great little gift/souvenir shop too!

Karl Kilian

The original movie location. The scenery was a bit spoiled by power lines and construction.

The Traveling Dad: A Guide to the Traveling Parent

Fun place. Crossed it off my bucket list nowz

Melissa Fisher

Would love to do it again. The players had fun and so did we the guests. "I guess I am a little naive". I was a little overwhelmed by the price of things, but I guess thats the world we live in today. I really enjoyed the fact that the players had fun joking around with each other. I really wish more of the players had comidator headsets on. Hoping that they continue to play on this ball field. I would love to see some of our "Big Red Machine" players in up coming events. Took me back to a back yard, small town home game. We also got a little history on the movie from some of the locals, and those in the movie sounded like small town, fit~in people. "If we all can't get along, then this movie will never happen".

Crystal Wolfe

Friendly staff with lots of knowledge of the place and the movie. My daughter was so thrilled to be there and hit a few balls on the same field as her favorite movie.

Corey Thompson

Awesome place. Had a great family pickup game of baseball!!

Adam

Lovely ballpark. Well kept field and plenty of parking.

Debbie McKinney

Grounds are beautiful - tour is great! So many facts given by someone that loves the Field of Dreams! Highly recommend the tour. Take your bat and glove then grab a snack for a memorable experience!

Joe Selchow

Any movie site is cool. If you've never been, just go. Alot of neat history here.

Kris Gade

Nice place to stop at. Tours were very expensive so we did not do that

Justin Heins

The area around the field is virtually untouched from when the movie was filmed. Beautiful place.

Mike Brehm

Fun being able to walk the bases and walk into the cornfield. The house tour was worth the price. Clarence, the guide, was amazing. Had great tidbits on the making of the movie and how the field has become a major draw. Funny and insightful. Also directed me to Galena, where the Doc Graham scenes were filmed.

glynn isoda

Nice movie set. Store out of a lot of the items

Megan McFadden

We went to the Field of Dreams Movie Site on Friday on the way home from Galena because my cousin really likes baseball. It was cool to learn about the history behind this field and see it in person. I recommend seeing it!

Patrick Hamilton

It was great. I didn't even know it existed. I've seen the movie. But didnt know it was an actual place.

Jeffrey Doran

Beautiful place in the country, not too far off the beaten path. I'll have to come back when the corn is up and a game is on.

Mark Philippi

Great place. Perfectly maintained friendly staff.

Lisa Goedken

It was a great day!!! The food was fantastic too.

Zach Baker

What an awesome piece of movie history! It's well preserved and a free roam environment (outside the buildings). Bring your bat, ball, and glove and make a memory!

Candie Mendez

This was really neat! Did a tour of the house too

Kathy Haan

I remember coming here a few years ago during the huge dispute between some corporation that owned one side of the field and a family that owned the other...they had some signs that I thought were pretty distasteful as to the dispute between the sides. We were there again last week and they must have either reconciled or one of 'em sold out to the other because the signs were gone. They sell ice cream and pop and souvenirs, and you can take your picture in front of the house (bring your own camera). You can walk out onto the field and play, too!

Jonathan Muntz

Great place to let the kids stretch their legs

Graham W

Had to hit this place on a motorcycle tour. Free admission. It’s actually a real home and working farm with the “Field” preserved. Got our souvenirs and photos. Glad we stopped in. It made for a nice ride.

A magical place that every baseball fan should visit.

Max Rensberger

Field of Dreams..yep.a place where dreams come true n the people there out do themselves..to make sure you had the best time possible...

Sara Hartwig

It is just plain fun to see where an awesome movie was filmed!

Casey Tarr

First time there fresh country Summer breeze, n a interview by kcrg , 2020 yankees

Alexis Hennig

We stopped on our way home from Chicago as a last-minute detour. It was on a Sunday evening in July, and at first we were the only people there. We had the field to ourselves for about 10 minutes before another group came (with Canada plates! :) It was amazing and beautiful. It looks just like it did in the movie. I recommend visiting in the summer evening if you want to see it at it's most beautiful - tall, green corn, lovely golden hour light. Bravo to the owners for keeping it so pure and pristine, it's truly a piece of heaven here on earth.

William Dexter

Very cool place check it off my bucket list

Susan Lampe

My husband & I enjoyed seeing it all.

Michael McDowell

Amazing! Dream come true to visit!

Rick P

It is exciting to be visit if you liked the movie. They kept everything just the way it was. Worth the trip. Go in the summer when the corn is growing and the experience will be much better. I went in the winter and still felt it was worth the drive.

Tamala Mitchell

Fun. Not as commercial as i expected.

Cindy Lacey

They just moved the gift shop and we had to walk through the wet and soaked grass. Our shoes and socks got very wet. I hope they place some kind of rock path from parking lot or field to the new gift shop. Received a private tour well done. Enjoyed it very much :)

Jody Spencer

Just a fun place to visit out in the middle of the cornfields!! And open later than most tourist sites. Don't forget to bring a couple of ball gloves & a ball to play some catch!

Justin Skiba

The highlight of our trip to Dubuque. It's just like you're walking onto the set of the movie...I love how they kept it true to the movie. My wife and daughters were able to play catch on the field, run the bases, and come out of the corn field. We went in late July, so it was the perfect corn height. The gift shop was simple and affordable. Loved every bit of it.

Dan Walters Volleyball

It was cool, 2nd time I've been there.

Kathy Anderson

Wonderful, magical place! Has not been commercialized, remains as seen in the film. A must see for all ages!!!

Ell Dee

Well worth the trip. We picnicked in the shade & watched families hit & field fully aware that the cornfield was behind us. No whispers from the corn even though it was a perfect windy day in July.

Zak Mckernan

You'll cry. I know I did. There's a reason it's nickname is "Field of Tears."

Mario C

Movie was/is great. Site is ok. A must see if you like the movie though.

Jack John

It's nice.

Kevin Tracy

Enter the field and play ball! Play catch! Plan ahead and bring your bat and glove. Buy a ball at the gift shop and use it, get some Iowa clay on it and stain that thing! Take it home and truly remember the day! Watch the movie before you arrive and enjoy the field in a whole new way. Nooooo pressure, nooooo schedules, nooooo critics! Just have fun.

Keith Hammerbeck

Truly a field of dreams, watching my grandson play ball here. Pristine and true to the movie.

Cathy Hale

This was a fun experience! Craig was a great tour guide! I did feel like $43.00 was pretty high for 2 people to see just the downstairs of the house but, overall it was good.

CerebralAssassin1977

All the way from Canada!!! I drive semi truck and was driving through on my way to Wisconsin so decided to stop as I have been wanting to see this place for ages. A bit tough trying to navigate the small streets with a large truck but once the gravel dust settled coming off of Kramer Rd onto Lansing, it was well worth it. Brought me back to being a kid again running the bases and watching fathers 'having a catch' with their kids on the field. Absolutely amazing experience. Definitely reccomend coming here!

Cindy Lacey

They just moved the gift shop and we had to walk through the wet and soaked grass. Our shoes and socks got very wet. I hope they place some kind of rock path from parking lot or field to the new gift shop. Received a private tour well done. Enjoyed it very much :)

Byron Brown

Great experience, employees were willing to chat and tell you the history. Take the home tour, the guide did a wonderful job!

Pamela Zirbel

Exactly like the movie. They've done a good job preserving the field and farm. Bravo

John Furlong

It is magical! Seeing walking the outfield, running the bases, generations connecting. Wow! We were there on a beautiful day late September, people from at least 8 states, including New York and Florida

kansas gunnut

I would of enjoyed it more, but it was raining!

Jody Spencer

Just a fun place to visit out in the middle of the cornfields!! And open later than most tourist sites. Don't forget to bring a couple of ball gloves & a ball to play some catch!

Brett Yant

Always wanted to go there and finally took the time

Pamela Swiney

Beautiful area and staff were wonderful

Patrick LaJuett

Visited in mid May, so no corn. But the location is beautiful, and has not been over commercialized. Great photo opportunities. Takes a few winding gravel roads to get there, definitely worth the trip!

James Maniscalco

Excellent time the guide showing home was very good

Eddie Ranney

Very nice place to visit. I took a tour of the house and found it interesting and informative on the behind the scenes of what and this movie was made.

Betsy Wickman

Loved it! It felt very special to be there. Beautifully kept!

Linda Maynard

Oh yes!!!! All ages can enjoy this stop. Worth the drive and yes, you need to walk out of the cornstalks onto the field. Playing catch with a young boy made my day.

roberto cervantes jr

Beautiful!!!! Happy I took the time to stop by while I was driving back home to Chicago from Minnesota.

Barbara Smith

Kind of cool. Wish I had gone a month later when the corn was shoulder high.

Thetoaster Thompson

It is what it says. A movie site. My family had a blast. Don't listen to the haters.

Bruce Juhl

Not much to see...purchased two shot glasses and the decals have already washed away after only using them twice.

george barker

Commercialized a little bit but other than that it was very nice to see. I was glad to see they had an authentic uniformed pitcher out there for people that wanted to hit the ball

Shannon Lesher

Love the movie. Great experience

Nick Chrisman

Such an awesome piece of movie history! Watched and loved this movie since I was a little kid. So surreal being there in person. Was able to tour the farm house and play on the field! We made a 100 mile detour just to stop by and is definitely worth it. Especially if you have kids. Play catch and run the bases a must!

Charles Mayeux

We visited on our way back to Des Moines after being in Wisconsin. It was exactly what I hoped it to be and is open for anyone to walk around and/or play. Playing catch on the field was a highlight to cross off the bucket list!

Becky Degendorfer

Love this place. If you like the movie, and love baseball, this experience is a must.

Beatrice guevara

Totally worth going out the way to make this stop. Great history before and after the movie making experience.

Gary

Great memory of a classic baseball movie! We went for the Game of Dreams and everyone from Reggie Jackson, Ozzie Smith, Steve Carlton, etc and cast members from A League of Their Own and Sandler showed up to play and after the game they played the movie on a portable screen. To walk on the field, see the home and walk out of the corn was a memory we will never forget. They even had a White Sox team in early uniforms come out of the corn and play catch with kids, truely epic! This is a must see piece of Roadside, movie and baseball Americana! They are now building a second larger field/stadium for major league baseball to use, just past left field starting in the 2020 season.

Nikki Adelmund

This place is amazing! I love the movie and love the site more
