Nice, plenty to see. What Chicago is all about. One of my favorite places to take walks. I only wish I had more time to go more often.
Nice, big park. Love the fountain. Good landscaping. Plenty of food within walking distance
Grant Park is beautiful! Lake Michigan is near by and the view of the water and boats is wonderful! Great place to walk, jog and relax. Great for families too!
I loved the accessibility of this park! I walked a few blocks from the Red Line and was right in the park! A little further and I would've been by the Natural History Museum or the Planetarium and Shedds Aquarium. Grant Park is more people friendly now that so many sculptures and "people" rides (skates, etc) are available.
We visited for Pokemon Go Fest, so our experience was different than anyone visiting. The park was well taken care of, easily accessible and had great views of lake Michigan, navy pier, and the many amazing towers. Buckingham fountain was beautiful! Lots of shady places to drop a picnic blanket and pop a squat to rest. There were multiple benches and picnic tables as well.
A gigantic park with lots of benches to sit down and view the scenery. I visited during Pokemon Go Fest and had a blast. The park is super clean and there are a lot of places to sit: benches, stairs, sides of wheel chair ramps, under trees, etc.
Nice to stroll around. Pay parking on the street. There is a public washroom. There is a food store. Huge fountain in the middle.
Great place for a quiet walk. Well maintained and great place for photos.
Beautiful park right on the water's edge. From here I was able to book an evening cruise on Lake Michigan.
Vary neat park to visit. A staple in chicago. Parking sucks. But vary nice area to take pics and walk.
The Taste of Chicago was fun. Went twice this year. The food, the ferris wheel, and so much more. Can't wait til next year!
We came during the taste of chicago. Came early and it was great, parking was nearby but you have to pay. Love the fountain its suck a nice place for activities and events. Even just coming for a picnic is very nice.
Nice, would have been great if there was more shade trees along the walking paths.
Beautiful view of the skyline at night if you sit on the benches near the fountain
have been so busy for many years and finally made the time this year to go. couldn't of had a. better time. the food was remarkable and the live entertainment was phenomenal.
Such a beautiful place to visit and relax during the day. As a tourist I really enjoyed our time there. There was a music festival happening in the park free for public we got to dance in the open space... great experience
One of the most attractive locations in Chicago's downtown! Grant Park is home to a lot of festivals! The Taste of Chicago, Blues Fest, Lollapalooza among others just to name a few. The Chicago Bean is also in Grant Park. A new sculpture that has started to represent Chicago's downtown and has and continues to attract tourist from around the world! They have summer movie nights available in their outside auditorium! Movies in the park among other shows and plays. Get to Chicago and visit this historic park. Create your own memories as you enjoy this beautiful city.
Grant Park is great. Its beautifully clean. We stayed across the street from the park at the Hilton Chicago for the Taste of Chicago food festival, so it was convenient to get back and forth. The park is very large and right on the water of lake Michigan (it's a great view). Even with all the people in attendance for the food festival, volunteers and park workers did an amazing job of keeping the huge park clean and appealing.
Grant Park is beautiful. It's easy to get to from all over the city, excellent location. Buckingham Fountain is stunning. I'm still in awe; it seems to defy gravity! This Philly girl will return for sure!
This park is massive, maintained, and beautiful. Not even a gloomy, overcast day could make it look it look anything other than nice. Wonderful for taking walks.
The floor at the SummerDance event here was great for dancing. And the fact that the event was free is amazing. Beautiful, green, and spacious.
The fountain is so great, each hour for 20 minutes of greatness
Grant Park is wide and spacious. Amazing place to walk around and relax with friends or family. Buckingham fountain is beautiful and a great view of the lake. Quintessential Chicago spot.
Grant park is a wonderful location in downtown Chicago. The fountain is just amazing. Make sure you know from where the wind blows or you'll get soaking wet. ;)
Always nice for a walk and fresh air off the lake. People watching is the best at the buckingham fountain.
great for concerts, big lawn, but because of reserved seating, stage is far away. Good video screen, sound. handicap access. Nice view of skyline. Need to bring blanket or chair, sunscreen a must.
A great spot to visit in Chicago. You can grab a snack, see the skyline, walk to the lake and the Museum Campus.
Very beautiful here! It's a must stop at night to get pictures of the great view, featuring a huge water fountain and the Chicago buildings...it's lit up very pretty at night!
Just amazing the energy of this place. People don't throw trash on the floor. Well preserved and Clean.love this place.
A great park space in the middle of the city. This visit, I am at Grant Park for a 5K so the park is crowded. The fountain, green spaces and lake front are great for the sights or to relax or play. No better view of the city is available anywhere.
Beautiful park. Concession stands around and great for summer concerts ❤
Beautiful Buckingham Fountain and the the shrubbery is well groomed. Even though I have lived in Chicago area all my life I always feel like I'm on vacation when I'm there@
One of the best parks in the city. Would be cool of there were more places to sit but it's definitely worth the visit when Buckingham Fountain is on.
Absolutley beautiful part of the city. Very bright and lively and overall a fantastic place to walk around. The atmosphere feels very bright and colorful, while being surrounded by the beautiful towering buildings.
Beautiful, but don't expect a cab or Uber to cross Michigan for you. They won't. 4 cancelled Ubers and no cabs in sight for almost 90 minutes
Always a great time. I went when none of the vendors or anything were open, but during the summer you can get some grub and refreshing drinks outdoors as well. The fountain is always gorgeous, and it's appreciated to see how clean they keep the area. Great place to spend a little time outdoors.
One of the most beautiful & welcoming parks in Chicago. Known to have the famous Buckingham fountain. A must visit for first timers who appreciate a great escape from the big city. Love the peaceful atmosphere. Adorned with lush green trees & wild flower bushes. Nice place to take a stroll, jog/bike, or simply retreat to after lunch. Luckily, we stayed at a hotel nearby in downtown that was a 5 min walk away.
The park is beautiful. Great place to have a nice picnic or take pictures.
I was born in Chicago. Grant Park is a part of me. The Summer fun and activities are what gels to makes the city great
The fountain is beautiful. Park is big, clean, have bathrooms, and sculptures. A place to spend some time walking and enjoying a nice sunny day.
Great park in the city center to relax and enjoy the sites and views.
Did the big Pokémon Go event over the summer. What a beautiful park with plenty of room to stroll and visit Chicago.
This park is great! I love coming here. The view of the lake & the city are excellent. The areas in the park are really nice, & clean. There's seats, restrooms, food stands, & seating near the stands. I had a chicken sandwich from a bar & grill stand at a reasonable price for the area & it was really good. The service was great. There's boat rides & other things for families to partake in which was nice. There are water fountains available as well. The Buckingham Memorial Fountain is a wonderful attraction. You get a really good vibe being here; it's really enjoyable. It's a safe & comfortable environment for sure.
I visited for Pokemon Go Fest. Very scenic with the waterfront and skyline in the distance. The fountain is a must see... Pictures do it no justice! The park is full of space and for this event in particular, people of all different backgrounds were able to come together and enjoy as one thanks to the park. I'll definitely come visit again.
The park is first class there's plenty of room to move around and not be crowded with the next person I went on the day when they were having the NFL experience to bring a start to the season before the Bears and Packers game and everything was well organized. They had plenty of food for sale plenty of drinks the weather was nice and the police were out in full force to make sure no one was out there clowning and there were no incidents so good job Chicago P.D. The event lasted all day and there was plenty of things to do to keep you out there the whole time and I was there from the beginning to almost the end and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It was my first time ever being there so I would recommend this place to tourist as well as to the people who live there. It also featured Buckingham Fountains which is famous for the opening scene of Married with Children so I had to take a pose to do my Al Bundy impression. I participated in the NFL challenges they had and overall this is a place to take the kids or a date or to just enjoy the scenery on your own I know the next time I'm in Chicago this will be one of my stops and it's also in walking distance to downtown so it's near everything else you want to do in the city
Grant park is amazing! I’m from NY and I think Grant Park has the best conditions for a music festival, afternoon walk, biking or running. It’s my favorite park in the country. In the center of Chicago, you can’t beat it. If I lived in Chicago I would want to live near this beautiful park with incredible views of the city!
The only time I've been to Grant park is when I'm walking to Soldier Field for the Bears game. It is a very beautiful park. One of these days i think I'll go spend a day there.
We were strolling up Randolph Street, enjoying the city, enjoying the late-summer heat, but wondering what to do instead of joining the shopping trip the rest of our party was planning. It was the impressive gateway of the Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Survivors’ Garden in Maggie Daley Park that caught our attention and accidentally made up our minds as to the best way to pass an early afternoon. The garden is lovely, as are the idea behind it, and the unsentimental inscriptions on the plaques offering advice, encouragement and support to people who have or had cancer, and to people who love them.
This is a beautiful park. There is a nice walkway along the waterway and through some park areas. This also goes past the Buckingham fountain area. Simply a nice area with several areas to relax. It's also gorgeous at sunset and sunrise
It Is very nice well mantained clean, the art added ti the green Is really nice to see. Of you are in Chicago it's simply a must. You can walk or ride a bike and enjoy the peace unexpected in a big city.
A few eating places and restrooms. A nice place to walk around or sit and watch people.
great place to clear your mind, relax enjoy the color and the waterfall as well as the music that played to the lights, beautiful scenery of the lake the tall buildings and great people and family walking around enjoying themselves as well, very safe very secure there's an outhouse bathroom for the convenience of those who need it very clean if I haven't said that already awesome place to be in the city of Chicago!
Dont know if the park is actually gorgeous or if the gorheous skies just mirrored itself and made everything look amazing. Decent place to visit and run through.
Very nice. Enjoyed. "Taste of Chicago," India Ari" live onstage. Traffic in the area was terrible. Lights were being manually controlled.
Chicago is beautiful. Well done City of Chicago. Well kept everywhere and clean all through the downtown and parks areas. I am one impressed visitor. Local people of the city where great too. Even the homeless people. Keep doing what you are doing.

I have always loved Grant park. More personable and friendly people then Central Park in NYC. But I guess I'm more parcel to the Midwest.
Beautiful scenery, tons of activities throughout the year, and loads of places to eat and shop just across the street. Great for adults/families, or really anyone!
Although the park is beautiful; there wasn't enough cooling stations or shaded areas for the eldery, children, or disabled. No charging stations for scooters or other support tools. Surprisingly, a bit of a food desert! Not enough fresh fruits or vegan options for "taste of Chicago".... Conversely, the Chicago people were warm and welcoming. So polite and thoughtful. Welcome to Chicago!!!
Beautiful! Park was very clean . Clouds rolling out . Not so crowded at 5:30pm on a Sunday .
We where at Grant Park for the Taste of Chicago. We had an awesome time. If you ever plan on going to the taste of Chicago. Please do not forget your suntan lotion and an umbrella it gets very hot their
If you're in Chicago, you can't miss it! One of my favorite places in the city.
We have lived in illinois our entire lives and spent lots of time in the city, but have never spent time in Grant Park until this trip.... we absolutely LOVE it. So beautifully manicured and great parking near by!
Ran the Hot Chocolate 5k! Had a lot of fun!
I love this place. An now I get to do 2 festivals a year here.
Visited this park for Lollapalooza and would have to say it became an instant favorite. The layout is very nice as well as the cleanliness. Would recommend.
Really great park to enjoy a long walk and the misty water of Buckingham fountain and in the night the fountain lights up with really gorgeous colors. We were here July 8, 2019 for the taste of chicago.
So beautiful, well kept, and peaceful. Lots of people seem to like to bike, run, and walk through here and I can see why. There is a bathroom and would definitely recommend visiting Grant Park for it's beauty and design.
Great park in Chicago! I have been to lots of city's and Chicago's have been some of the biggest with lots of trees and space. Nice place to walk around with family or take the dog for a stroll.
Great place for views of the city and the lake. The park itself is picture worthy as well and is usually well taken care of. If you're a visitor to Chicago, Grant Park is a must see. In the summer there are many events in and around the park, so be sure to look things up ahead.
For a tourist as myself i love coming to grant park! Everything is within walking distance! You have the cloud gate pretty much connected to the park, the fountain and the big lake! Definitely a place i visit every time im in Chicago.
Nice rose garden. Great fountain. Pricey snacks
Had a Awesome time at the #NFL100 kickoff 1st ever watch party! Wish the Bears would have won tho!
Did not know how beautiful the park was, I didn't even expect to walk through a beautiful secret garden..
Very beautiful scenery with Lake Michigan on the back ground.Very Peaceful place to hangout in the Summertime. The cool breeze from the lake makes it great
Love it! Always something going on for the family.. On the particular evening we went there was dancing in the park. Looking forward to the Taste of Chicago this year! Must visit the Buckingham Fountain if you're there.
Grant Park is a large beautiful urban park. It offers many different attractions in its large open space. It’s a must see when you are in town.
Grant Park is a beautiful place to visit while in Chicago. While it is often the venue for multiple festivals, the park is beautiful throughout the year. With beautiful views of the lake and City skylines, the park boasts beautiful wide open green spaces, picnic spots, and groves to wander and enjoy.
Great place to have a picnic and enjoy your family as you check out the city
Im a small town girl visiting a big city. This is the perfect place to get a feel of what the city life is about. The view is jaw dropping. The atmosphere is on point. I felt safe and welcomed. I couldnt have picked a better spot to take some amazing pictures to take home to my kiddos. If I was tethering on the idea of making a move here this place would most likely seal the deal. So busy yet so relaxing. I will return before we head home just to see it in the daylight
Great walking commute stretching from south loop to downtown. Great park during the summer time, lots of outdoors activities such as yoga, cycling, running, concerts. Park is full with historical monuments and gorgeous views of Chicago skyline.
It was great. Went for the taste of Chicago. Got lots of food and drink. Ate it b4 I took any picks. Going back next year for sure.
If you are early for Shedd or Field museums then this is a comfortable spot to wait. Great view of the Chicago skyline and on occasion you will see some work for the museum (we got to see the Macaws flying). There isn't much to do really early but it is relaxing place to rest.
Great place to relax, walk in the park, take plenty of pictures with your friends and/or family... plenty of great places to eat from walking distance and lots to do too
Under construction of some kind when I was there, but could still walk around the perimeter and it was beautiful and peaceful
One if the best city parks there is. Stretched along the lakefront it offers great views of the city and the wide expanse of the lake. The city takes great care of it and when the weather is good there are all sorts of events from concerts to movies to a taste of Chicago. If you are a visitor to the city it shouldn't be missed.
This is the perfect park for tourist and Chicagoan. Its huge and beautiful. Many different flowers planted so many stages for entertainment and nightly events. Easily accessibly by public transportation and police present everywhere.

What beautiful park. We were here for a show and decided today to walk through the park. I can't get over how big this park is and all the museums they have here too. It was truly pleasant surprise for us we had no idea. The trail was great for walkers, bikers, moms and anyone who needed to take lots of breaks.
A pretty park and it was nice that there were playground areas for various ages. My kiddo had fun, the only thing that I was unsure about was that the ages posted for the different play areas are VERY conservative. So my kiddo played at a park that was posted as being for older kids, since the other seemed too young for him. For adults, I liked the combo of art and nature that the park incorporated. There were interesting things to do. There were lots of tourists near the Bean, but away from that it was more manageable.
I was here for GoFest in June. It was amazing even though there were thousands of people. The park is beautiful, and there is a lot of room for activities.
Visited Chicago for the first time and it was AWESOME. Everyone I met was pleasant and polite. Had some great interactions with local residents. Learned some interesting facts about the racial issues and history of this city that blew my mind. But overall I had a wonderful experience.
The most beautiful park i have visited thus far. Well worth the roadtrip to get there. Many parking garages near by at decent prices make this park a must see. Buchingham fountain was among my favorite attractions in the park.
I'm taking a 4th generation of my great grands , I grew up at the fountain and I've enjoyed many years bringing my kids and now their kids and 3rd generation. Lol. Another great site in city

Lovely place. Wonderful for outdoor activities and sight seeing.
Taste of Chicago was fun. Its a park in downtown Chicago. Not much more I can say. Views are super dope tho. Worth a trip. Bring the kids. Buckingham fountain lives here.
One of the best parks in Chicago. It truly is a beautiful and very well kept space right in the heart of the city!
Unable to really walk through the beautiful grounds. Only from across the street. Other friends that we were with during our stay at the hotel for our event were able to and really enjoyed it. Wish my husband and I would have been able to. Maybe next time we are there on our own!
Came here for 2019 Pokemon go fest and had a blast! This is a huge beautiful park with lots to see. Had a great time.
Pretty cool park. Was here for lollapalooza so didn't get to check it out beyond the festival but I loved it. Would love to come back and see it without the festival
Grant Park is one of the most beautiful parks in the US. Lots of activities and fun for people of all ages. The Aquarium, Water Taxi, water sports, Planetarium, Museums and Fountains all combine too make it amazing.
Hard not to love this. If you like waterfront walking/ cycling, don't miss this place. A word of caution... The parking lot will cost you BIG. As in US$38 for 4 hours. A day pass on the L runs $10, so take transit!

Such a cool park. Beautifully maintained. The gardening crew does an excellent job. You can see the tlc they put in. Easily one of my favorite parks I visited. I was here for an event and I would be back.
Grant park is awesome, great views of the city, awesome for just relaxing, and there is often stuff going on around or in grant park. It's a pretty large park with plenty of space and there are always quieter areas that are easy to find. Would highly recommend visiting if you havent already.
Great park in the center of downtown. Very clean, great for families and all outdoors activities. I love this park!
Amazing place in Chicago for sight seeing. There are many attractions around the area including this park. It is worth the time to just stroll around aimlessly.
Hard to park a car here but a nice park and lake Michigan is directly next to it
Grand park hosts Lollapalooza every year and I was able to enjoy this park super early in the morning before the gates opened. It is a beautiful place offering nice views of the lake and the city. "Love and marriage" of all these sights makes this park a jewel.
Always a must go to. Even if you live in Chicago this place never disappoints. Many festivals throughout summer makes it better.
It's a beautiful place to go with your family had lots of fun
Place crawling with Bear Nation and a few Cheeseheads, security was strong but necessary! Lakefront beautiful as usual!
Grant Park is the best place for outdoor festivals and events. Chicago does an awesome job making sure that each event runs smoothly. And no other city has the Chicago Skyline.
Beautiful park in the middle of downtown Chicago. It's well maintained and massive allowing you to really immerse yourself in its beauty. This park is home to many festivals over the summer such as taste of Chicago, Lollapalooza, Vegandale, and many others. There is always something going on at Grant Park be it music, art, or just a beautiful day with lots of people there to enjoy it. WATCH THE PARKING THE TOW GUY IS THERE AT 11:01PM TO TOW CARS SINCE PARKING ENDS AT 11:00. I have seen him tow many a car don't fall victim to that.
A Chicago visit isn't complete without a stroll through Grant Park. Buckingham Fountain in the spring summer and early fall, and wonderful views of the skyline.
I grew up in Chicago love going to Grand Park then still love to go there now.
This park is often missed by people because it's in the South Loop. You will be surprised at how well maintained and beautiful it is.
I forgot how beautiful the city was it was just lovely to be there again and to see the sights and just chill with family
Its really good if you want to go for a jog, walk and theres a bar there in the park, though the prices are high and can see the fouantain, really nice to go and relax.
One of Chicago's Famous places. Love it
Had to do 4 stars as I was trapped here in 1968, thankfully my Uncle Otto Keener sent in National Gaurds to protect us from CPD
Nice flowers, fountains, sculptures, trees, and open fields. It's a relatively quiet place to relax, walk your dog, play sports, or even take a nap if you're brave enough.
Loved it and was quite pleased to see the blossom there amid the city rush. Fountain at the night was worth looking at with colorful lights
The only time I've been to Grant park is when I'm walking to Soldier Field for the Bears game. It is a very beautiful park. One of these days i think I'll go spend a day there.
A great place to unwind or take a break from the busy streets, you can walk, run, cycle or just sit and relax, my wife and I visited some of the statues situated within the park, we visited on a hot day, I guess it would be a great place whatever the weather, the seasonal changes must be great to witness as a resident, I would definitely recommend
Very beautifully structured. Didn't originally agree with mayor Daily's plan to spend tax dollars on city's appeal. But now I think it was money well spent.
This park is always perfectly sculpted. Even within the week after LollaPalooza, when a park could be expected to show signs of wear, the place was immaculate (save a few extra fence pieces and portable toilets still present.) We always enjoy seeing the fountain lit up!
Very beautful and relaxing always some sort of entertainment going on there...
Lovely place for jogging, bike ride or a simple stroll by lake Michigan. There's a great beach and beach volleyball places. From here you can have some beautiful views of Chicago downtown.
At minimum I'm here twice a year... For Lollapalooza and for the Chicago Marathon... The layout of the park is outstanding as is it's proximity to the skyline as well as the lake... Wonderful place that attracts thousands of people everyday
Good park that accompanies the Millenium Park. There are some good places to visit in grant park as well. Overall these parks together play a big role in making downtown Chicago beautiful.
This place is wonderful and was featured in the introduction title for married with children. It's a nice park I would return.
What an amazing place. This park so well laid out. It’s a must if you visit.
I love this place.. always find something new attractive everytime I visit here.. well maintained.. hats off to Chicago Park district
Love the views of the Chicago skyline from Grant Park. It is very spacious to roam around and just soak up the ambience of both locals and tourists alike. Highly recommend! From there a close walk to Lake Shore Drive where you can walk along the lake's coast & to Museum Campus: Planetarium, Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, and Soldier Field Stadium.
I spend most of my time here if I go to any park downtown.
This Sunday evening was the best, it was pleasantly peaceful. I loved walking around and seeing the people enjoy our gorgeous downtown.
Classic Chicago attraction. Fun fact, this is the fountain from Married with children intro
Generally a decent area. But the large amount of homeless in the park brings the quality down. The homeless situation needs to be dealt with compaction and logic. There are ways to make the city wonderful for everyone.
Great park can't beat seeing Ole Buck shooting a gyser in the middle of the park.
Always a great place to visit. The area is clean and well kept. Chicago Police do a really good job keeping the area safe for park visitors.
Great place to bring your family always something going on
We went to Shoals Fest last night and had a great time! Perfect venue for it. The sunset was beautiful over the water and reflecting off Oneal bridge. Highly recommend going next year!

Everything is great in Chicago. And of course worth visiting.
Nice and clean park. We like to be here. It’s not as crowded as millennium park.
Centerpiece of downtown Chicago's public areas that hosts many popular events.
It's a great open space for enjoying nature near the lake in the middle of a big city. You do not see this anywhere else! Like being part of a very large family with estate on the lake. Enjoy!
So many green spaces along the lakefront of Chicago. Yet each one distinguishable. Buckingham fountain always exiting, but after dark is especially cool to see.
We love visiting filming locations. This park has the fountain that was featured in the opening credits of Married with Children. At this time of the year, the fountain was empty, but it was still beautiful to see. The architecture and scenery around it was great. It was a perfect place for photos - make sure to utilize the panorama mode on tour cameras!
One of my favorite memories as a pre-teen was visiting downtown during the World Cup to see a couple matches. Dad and I spent some time in the park bonding, and we even got a photo back in the 90s before camera phones were a thing. When I eventually came downtown for college, I tried to spend as much time as I could in the park for fun and exercise, sometimes remembering my time with dad here.
Best park in Chicago! Buckingham Fountain is an icon and this park always has cool events too.
This park is really nice. It is well kept and has a variety of sculptures and art work. It is a nice contrast to the city.
What's to say? It's beautiful (as are all the parks in Chicago) and I truly enjoy walking here.
This lakefront park remains a favorite. Buckingham Fountain is lovely (just watch which way the wind is blowing; you can get very wet), and the gardens, modeled on Paris’s Tuileries, are beautiful. Adjacent to the Art Institute, so ideal to pair the two to make a day of it.
It is fabulous! The best thing about Chicago is that older architecture is maintained, with new builds going up around iconic buildings. The skyline of Chicago is a seamless blend of buildings from different eras. Grant Park is a fabulous place to view it. Stay to see the light show from Buckinghan Fountain. Directly east from the fountain is where the young Queen Elizabeth alighted from a yacht on her first tour of America.
There are only a handful of historic buildings left around Grant Park, but the layout remains familiar and inspiring. We got there just as they were wrapping up filming of "Chicago 7"! And it has a good skate park just next to the stairs.
Beautiful park!! I visited it for the first time during Lollapalooza, but I can't wait to go back and enjoy when it's more quiet. The Buckingham fountain is breathtaking. The park is incredibly large and has statues and monuments throughout, so it's a great photo taking destination!
So kids friendly! Many beautiful sites to see
Went here for Lolla 2019. Beautiful park and perfect place for such a huge music festival
This place is great to just hang out and see some cool figures that are unique to Chicago.
cPD was everywhere
One of Chicago's Great Lakefront parks. Buckingham Fountain looks good during the day but is exquisite at night. Fountain shows are on the Hour (sometimes a little late) music plays with the water show. During the day you can find a glass of wine or a coke , burger and other snacks near the fountain. Public restrooms are located there. You can buy a souvenir from Jessie at her bike gift shop or catch a rickshaw if you are too tired from walking the park.
Park is great! But the blemish is on the insane parking cost! 38 bucks to park in the under ground parking for 2 hours. Absolutely nuts! True meaning of gouge.
Lovely park in the city. Very clean and well maintained.
Great place to go with children and pets. The fountain is beautiful and nice to walk past to cool off on a hot day. My only complain is that in some areas it smells a bit like sewage, but it wasn't too bad and for the most part it is a nice place to visit.
What a lovely place. You get this great view of the city. There are plenty of benches to sit and take in all the fresh air and the nice sunny weather. Its very clean too. All the swings and things for kids to do are a great add on.
Excellent park in the heart of downtown. All parts of it where well maintained. The presence of park specific security added to the feeling of safety. A really nice park with plenty of little bits and bobs. Worth a wander around.
Grant Park is scenic but, not entirely user friendly with access. The major thoroughfare of endless traffic is annoying. Could not perhaps Chicago bury the road and make it a tunnel?
