Would have given it five stars if the camp host wasn't such an a****** every time I go in there late at night he shines a bright maglight flashlight into my eyes and then walks over like I'm doing something I shouldn't be doing totally disrespectful if you ask me

A friend and I stayed for 3 days at the pink house. Jim and Deb are awesome hosts and go to great lengths to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible, i honestly cant say enough about this recreation site. The sites are very well maintained and grass is groomed and neat, the bathrooms are impeccable and smell great (i know its weird), they are clean from top to bottom, we were very impressed. Jim is very welcoming and willing to help with anything you need, he is always hard at work outside and is just a great guy to talk to. At night the property is roamed by the local sheriffs office, so you don't have to worry about your possessions while staying there, actually there has not been a theft there since JIm and Deb have been there for 3 years. The only things that i can say that could be done are placing seat covers in the bathrooms and BLM could do better with the maintenance of the boat launch, there is way too much sand down there to get stuck in. Other than that its an amazing place to stay. Also if you stopping for the fishing, they are located just west of dworshak fish hatchery.

Best campground in Idaho! Paved roads, gravel and paved sites. Full hookup. Fire rings. BBQ pits, lots of grass, right on the river, a small beach. Flush toilets, and the nicest camp hosts! No showers or washers/dryers. All for $18.00 a night (or only $9.00 a night with senior pass). Small campground, it is a first come first serve campground. Does not take reservations. It's a real gem!

A great campground! The sites were nice size and not only did each site have water and electric but also sewer. The hosts were sweet as can be!

I've been here many times fishing and using the ramp or beach. Great holes for fishing very close. Camping is awesome. Full hookups for $18 per night. Can't beat that! Hosts are great. Definitely gets hot in the summer but almost always cools off at night. Road noise is minimal if you're camped nearer the river.

We stayed three nights and it's a great place to camp.Full hook ups for $18 a night.Half that if you have a senior pass.The campground hosts where very friendly and kept everything picked up.(bathrooms where fresh and super clean everyday) Great beach to!

Full hookups for $9.00 with Golden Age Pass in June. Maybe every month but I didn't check. It's open all year. Sites are flat and paved with 20' of open space in between. There's a boat launch and a nice swimming area.

Very nice full hook ups are only 18 per night. Not a lot of shade .right on river with nice beach for swimming. Close to small town with good amenities. Jim the campground host is great and super helpful.
