I had a wonderful visit at the Idaho Black History Museum. The visit was very interesting and educational due to my conversation with the curator Mr. Philip Johnson about his incredible and inspiring family history including the history of the building and other interesting facts. There wasn't enough time to go through the exhibits and talk!

This building used to be the facility of my home church, St. Paul Baptist, and it stood right on the corner of Broadway & Warm Springs! This is an excellent museum with tons of wonderful, ole-school SPBC memories galore. The only thing is, however, the downstairs portion where we used to hold dinners and also dress out for choir time in church, is no longer. It is all on one floor.

A definite must see when coming to Boise, I am of the belief that all people from any walk of life or ethnic backgrounds should visit such an important and Vidal part of the American historical experience.
