The road was narrow in places but the drive is worth it. The Lake/reservoir was beautiful. Not but 10 miles past The Marina at Lucky Lake.

The fishing has been slow recently but there are fish to catch. Figuring the bait is the challenge. Rainbow, Bull Trout, Cutthroat, Yellow Perch and Smallmouth Bass. The lake is about 23 miles from Boise Idaho and worth the drive. This is a great access point to the Boise National Forest and the rivers that feed the reservoir.

Took my youngest for a day of fishing. The road was way better than I remembered and how can you have a bad time fishing with a 4 year old. So much fun she already wants to bring her brother and sisters back. We net a few nice guys up there and it was really nice to see that there was not a bunch of trash everywhere.

I wish there was more places for those who don't have watercraft. Also the road there is really choppy and rough. Beautiful though.

Not as busy as Lucky Peak. Takes a little longer to get there. Dirt road the last few miles.

Wow, just wow. We went on a chilly day but views were stunning! What a drive too. Places to camp along the hillside and hiking areas as well. Great family day trip!

We drive up every wednesday. We fish for Bass and Trout and Kokanee. Taking the kayaks out is amazing as well when the water is so clear. I recommend that anyone that comes to idaho, needs to visit Arrowrock dam and reservoir.

Great area for fishing. A lot of hunters in the Fall. The road is winding and narrow in area with no visibility around curves.

Great secluded spot if you enjoy water sports with JetSki’s boats or want to have your dog off leash. Also an amazing spot to fly a kite or kite surf because the one usually blows straight on the beach side shore.
