REVIEWS OF Kualoa Ranch IN Hawaii

Steven Salvatore

The front gates should really say Welcome To Jurassic Park. This place really does capture the jungle vibe you'd expect dinosaurs to be roaming around in. The ranch has plenty of open plains and heavily forested areas. The large majority of sets left behind can be seen and walked around in with the Premier Movie Sites Tour. The tour guide provided us with bottled water, popcorn and M&M's to munch on while giving us a vast amount of info on each movie set we saw. Will definitely come back to try out the other jungle adventures. If you're into seeing the sets from Hollywood's most popular movies or just want to explore the great outdoors, this is the place for you!

Nina Peters

The Taste of Kualoa Ranch Tour was superior! The food tastings were delicious. The tour guides made everyone feel welcome. The different fruit, vegetables, shrimp ponds, and trees were well cared for and the information about the ranch was interesting. The store was filled with delightful items as well with better prices than others. You will have a great time here!

Ahad Subzwari

This was an amazing experience! We did the 2hr UTV trip with a party of 4 people. The guides were very funny + knowledgeable and took us on an awesome route with lots of beautiful sightseeing. It was so cool seeing filming locations from a bunch of my favorite movies, including jurassic park. Highly recommend this tour!!

Denney Rowcliffe

This place is incredible! Upon planning what to do for our second trip to Hawaii, we wanted to try something outdoorsy that we've never done before. I'd heard of people taking tours in the area where they filmed Jurassic Park and looking further into it found out that you can do ziplining as well.

Dan Williams

Loved it!! So much to see and do. Plus the zip line guys were super friendly and gave us tips on where to get a bite to eat.

Julia Prince

We did the ocean voyage cruise, ATV tour and jungle cruise tour as a package which included lunch. The whole day was amazing! Breathtaking scenery, awesome staff and all so much fun!

Robinna Galvez

We did the ATV tour package and it was amazing! We saw Soo many movie sets and the views are exceptional! Also our atv your guide, Ellie was amazing! She really goes the extra distance to get that picture perfect view. Also the funny ones which I'll save so you guys can experience it without me spoiling it

Toni Novak

Last minute find, and glad we did! Booked the ATV adventure tour and we had a great time. Expect to spend money if you want to do more than 1 or 2 tours. The jungle expedition was our favorite and Justice made it a great experience! It rained quite a bit but he made it fun and we laughed the entire time! Such beautiful scenery and seeing all the movie sites was the best part! All the crew is very knowledgeable. It was very cool to stand and take pictures in movie sets! We were bummed we didn’t book the movie tour. It looked awesome!

Sarah Fletcher

My husband and I went ziplining here for our honeymoon. He usually is freaked out by heights, but LOVED his experience at this zipline! Not only is it a gorgeous site with 7 different lines to enjoy, but our guides were just the best. We had a small group, which we initially thought might be awkward, but ended up having a great time. Jeremiah, Zach, and Sam (our guides) were HYSTERICAL and made an already exciting activity even more fun. Highly recommend!

Corina Hurst

We did a jungle expedition and had a great time! They included some movie spots, most notably the set of Jurassic World. We really appreciated our guide MJ, his fun attitude made the trip memorable! He was also really excited to help take pictures and was generally a great guide. Thank you! Also, we were worried we'd be bored waiting for our transportation for about 2.5 hours, but we weren't! There's a gift shop, restaurant, animals to visit and watch, and a mini "Hall of Fame".

Prati Lodha

I had a really great experience with this place. I would suggest booking tours online, as they do tend to run out of seats, especially for the movie tour. I went on the jungle expedition, which was about $50 per person for a 90 min tour. The tour guides were very knowledgeable as you may have read in other reviews. They took us on a dirt road and made their first stop at a lookout where they helped us understand some Hawaiian culture. My favorite part was when we drove through the gates which were used in the movie, Jurassic World. They slowed down to let us see the gates, but we weren't able to get down of the truck. We went through a pretty heavy jungle area, and along the way we saw a crashed helicopter from the movie Kong, Skull Island, as well as some shooting areas for the Hunger Games, a stream which was in one of the Jurassic park movies, and the mansion gates from Triple Frontier. Our second, and last stop was at another lookout where you could see a lot of the ranch below. The ride down was about 15 min. I really liked that there was something for everyone on this tour, as there were beautiful spots to take photos, a lot of history and culture, and some Hollywood shooting locations. I would suggest if possible to sit in the front to get the best, unobstructed view of your surroundings. If you have some time and money to shell out, I would recommend this tour.

Cindy Donaldson

Amazing place. Crunched for time so we only did the jungle jeep tour. Chase was a great guide! A lot of info, movie sets and all with a sense of humor. Highly recommend!

Mayra Castaneda

Did the horseback tour. It was pretty nice. The horses are pretty well trained and Boomer obeyed very well. The tour guides were very attentive and had great conversational skills. Anna did a wonderful job at ensuring we were all comfortable with our horses and not struggling.

Mithila Navare

A great experience! We were able to do the kayaking and movie bus tour! Make sure you book ahead for ATV tours, unfortunately we missed out on it!

Casey Brooks

Had such a great time and highly recommend! Worth the money! Our guides Chandler, Steven and Westin were amazing! We felt safe and had a blast!! Steven gave us a lot of recommendations and took the time to talk to us, thanks again for the Hawaiian hospitality!

Kaitlyn McLendon

A must do in Hawaii. There is nothing like it. Everyone is so nice and the views are breathtaking.

Mark S.

Really fun zipline experience. The guides were excellent and my 12-year-old and I had a great time!

Debby M

Beautiful! Had a great time on the Hollywood Tour. Unfortunately everything else was sold out. But still had a great time. Amazing scenery!

Chris Peck

We had a great time at the Kualoa Ranch. We did the 2 hour UTV tour. Our guide was pretty awesome using props for are pictures. Make sure to bring sun glasses and a bandana because it can be very dusty out and have a wonderful time.

Trevor Hendrickson

I love this place! This ranch has one of the best spots of land on the island in my opinion with some beautiful jagged mountains as the backdrop. There are tons of different tours to do here, all of which look fun. I did the basic movie tour (there is an upgraded premium one where you can see additional sites like the Indominus Rex cage from Jurassic World). We saw an old military bunker and sites from movies like Jurassic Park and Kong. The sites were beautiful and the tour guide was informative and great at customizing the tour to what everyone wanted to hear. He even took pictures for people at one of the stops.

Ryan Corby

Amazing Tour, and well worth the money. We had "Uncle Leonard" as our guide, and he made it super fun for the whole family. Highly recomended.

Alexis Maldonado

This was such an amazing experience !!! I loved the ATV tour, the movie tour, and the jeep tour!. Those were the only tours I took when I visited Kualoa Ranch, I'm sure the rest are just as amazing! The staff is very friendly and willing to tell you about Hawaiian culture!

April Beal

We did the movie site tour and had so much fun! Our guide (Dillon?) was so much fun! He definitely made the tour! So much energy and full of fun facts. We enjoyed ourselves. You take the tour in a school bus type vehicle to see different sites where movies were filmed. You are also dropped off at a bunker to your on your own to see artifacts from movies. If you are a TV/movie buff you will enjoy it.

Nikitha Prabhu

Such a cool experience! Make sure you book in advance as these tours get filled up weeks sometimes months ahead. We did the movie site tour and the UTV raptor tour. Both were amazing. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and it was so cool to learn about the movies and shows shot there.

Charlie Rocafort

Get ready to experience an array of adventures. Go behind the scenes of iconic movies to walking through historic bunkers from WW2. Narrated bus tour keeps you informed throughout the whole ride. Capture breathtaking photos as you creep along the hillside climbing up and down to different destinations. Great place for adventure seekers visiting or residing in Hawai'i!

Susan Flores

We did the UTV 2 hour ride. Tiffany was an amazing tour guide and awesome photographer! She was knowledgeable and fun! The ride was a blast. It was just my husband and I but others had 4 in their raptor. I highly recommend it. The beauty of that area alone is worth the money!

Katie Pitterle

We had a really great time on the ranch! We started the day off with the ocean adventure and saw sea turtles and a manta ray. Then we did the movie expedition which was so cool. The buffet lunch was good. It could have had more food options and by the time we got to eat the salad bar was empty. The jungle expedition was breathtaking. The entire ranch has amazing views of mountains and the ocean. The staff was super friendly and helpful! Highly recommend doing this on your vacation!

Chuck Andre

3 stars for the organization running the place. 5 stars for the views. The good: The views were fantastic. The movie tour included going into a WWII bunker and seeing nice views of the valley. The Jungle excursions had an optional hike to a ridge with stunning views. MJ was a 5 star tour guide. The bad: The ATVs were ridiculously slow, 10 MPH, my grandpa's scooter goes faster. The Ugly: To start the day, the shuttle check in was a nightmare. Upon arrival, we had to go to ticketing because they messed up our wristbands. They made us and other guests go back to ticketing because their system is messed up so we almost missed on of their excursions. Some of the equipment like the ATVs and buses were run down like carnival rides that have seen better days. For the premium you pay, they should have better vehicles.

Matt Bozovsky

Family and I did the Hollywood tour. It was super fun! Our tour guide was very funny and seemed to know everything. Would highly recommend this. Beautiful place as well! Got to see a lot of cool movie filming sites and some bunkers that were used for the war and much much more! Lots of props from movies left behind including buildings etc.

David Wolstenholme

We did the jungle exposition tour and it was pretty awesome. Our guide was Jared and he made the experience 10 times better. Prepare for a wild ride although apparently some of the other guides are less wild (read awesome). We toured a section of the ranch on a truck (see photo). Took in some gorgeous views and learned some new things (your guide is talking most of the time. Highly recommend this tour. Good for the whole family.

At Perez

Liloa our tour guide was fantastic in her knowledge of the history and preservation of the land and culture! Tour was enjoyed by adults and kids alike. Very reasonable prices at gift shop and food court. Definitely recommend Kualoa Ranch!!

gucci boi

Excellent place and experience! If you're doing the ATV tour make sure you take a mask or bandana for your mouth it's gets quiet dusty

Mackenzie Broyles

Amazing staff and beautiful views! The photos they take of you on the zipline arent the best but the staff is more than willing to take pictures for you. S/o to Zack for being the coolest tour guide!

lynn rose

I always come here and tell my family and clients about Kualoa Ranch ! how yummy the Hamburgers are :) My favorite is the Kualoa Hamburger , the pineapple and sauce is very yummy. Sadly today , the bread was old. I couldn't eat the bread anymore after eating one fourth of it. The meat also was okay.. I was sad. because this is the first time the Hamburger was not tasty. If bread is old and meat may have been out for awhile I wish it was not served for others to eat. I did not waste the bread as it was given to the friends that roam Kualoa Ranch. If we cannot eat it , Please do not serve for others to eat. My stomach got upset .

Nicole Trevino

Great activities, lots to do. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great gift shop

Mary Whited

Love this place! Today we visited the Hawaii Farm fair at Kualoa Ranch and it was super fun! Saw bunnies, chickens, pigs, goats, sheep and cows and enjoyed some Hawaiian ice while watching the clown show. Lots of food, fun and aloha here. Secret island adventure was amazing! So happy we opted for the entire day because we needed it! Attempted paddle boarding while my sister and grand kids kayaked. Ping pong, volleyball, hammocks, beach loungers and some much needed swimming kept us busy! Very beautiful location with so much to do. Kualoa rocks!

Joshua Walton

We had such a fun time here at Kualoa Ranch! The gift shop isn't overpriced like most gift shops tend to be. There are also horses you can pet that are very friendly. The tour guide was very informative and generous with time. The tour was extremely fun and gorgeous with views overlooking the ocean. All the movie sites were very cool and familiar from all the movies we've seen. This is by far the most beautiful tour on O'ahu, don't miss out!

Jackie Moore

I almost wish I could post two reviews. I went for a wedding, and it was fantastic. So beautiful, and the Ranch was amazing. The couple hired vendors for all of the food, and staffing, but the place itself was 5 star. I went back a few days later for a 'raptor adventure' and it was also super super fun, but not as great of an experience. We all left feeling that the tour was more of a way to 'print money' rather than a tour focused on giving guests an amazing experience. The vehicles went super super slow, and all of the stops were for 'photo ops' rather than to actually tour / explore the ranch, which I was very disappointed by. The tour was way way WAY too expensive for what it was. The place is so beautiful, and doing a tour is really the only way to see it, which is too bad,

Jessica Sepulveda

We did the movie tours and it was so much fun! Our tour guide, Troy, was funny and made the expedition an experience! Highly recommending booking online in advance, it is much smoother and easier. Great if you are a movie buff, plus incredible views and scenery to take fun photos in.

Nico Gonzalez

Extremely fun for people of all ages. Staff are enthusiastic and well knowledgeable. If you want to do the ATV tour be sure book in your your early as tickets do sell out in months.

Cristian Del Cid

Loved the tour, it's a must if you're in the area. I highly recommend the last tour so you can have more time to take pictures and enjoy the view!

Laura Thompsen

Awesome tours (we did kayak and 2hr UTV)! Organized, friendly staff, energetic and passionate guides- an overall fun experience well worth the money!

Scott Cusack

We had a good time doing the secret island excursion. Use of the paddle boards and kayaks were included. The beach was like a post card you'd see representing paradise. Lots of shade from the palm trees and mangrove trees. There were hammocks and lounge chairs as well as back yard games to play. I wish it could have been longer.

Chico

Great experience all round. From the check in to the check out. They make sure you all feel welcomed to the ranch. Jeremiah, Breeze, and Sam rock it! It was a great family adventure day. They had us smiling and laughing the whole time but ensured our safety as well. Definitely coming back again and again

NinjaSamantha

The most beautiful place about this island. You really feel Serene and it humbles you immensely. I recommend the 2 hour horseback riding. It's such an experience.

William Minnihan

While I was at this venue, I took a movie tour and it was pretty good. There are some really cool exhibits to view. Plenty of movie sets are still active and kept up with. The tour guides jokes were very corny, so try and not ride with Jimmy. But overall, this place was a must see while in Oahu!!!!!!

David Macghoilla

We love going here every time we go to Hawaii. There are a lot of activities for all the family. We go for the ATV film set tour. It’s amazing with great views.

Dan Wilding

I've been to Hawaii many times but for since reason I'd never heard of Kualoa Ranch until my latest trip. This was a wonderful find. We took the movie set tour and absolutely lived it. It was fun to immediately recognize locations from so many movies that we've seen. Kualoa Ranch offers offerings from house back tours to four wheeler tours. Short tours and in depth tours. I would highly recommend adding the Kualoa Ranch to your next Hawaiian trip.... toy wine bee disappointed.

PS massage

This company does a variety of tours of the valley close by that's the most beautiful part of the island. The tour includes sites that have been used for several movies. The views are stunning! I recommend the horse back or ATV tour. Book in advance more than a month ahead. This time we tried to book the day before and they were completely booked for all their tours until May .

Jennifer Gleason

My family had a great time at Kualoa. We did the Movie Sites tour, Secret Island Beach and Ocean Voyage. The guides were wonderful and knowledgeable. We will definitely visit next time we are on island.

Chuck Sullivan

Kool tour.. WoW! I didn't realize that so many movies were filmed here! ..but taking a step back and looking around at the surrounding mountains and jungle..? I totally see it! ..huge "I got it in Hawaii" gift store.. a very large property.. take several hours to really investigate and explore.. Good food.. reasonable prices

Elizabeth Warren

So much fun! There's so much to do there so you could spend two or three days trying to get everything in. My mom and I did the more expensive film tour which was worth it because the van is air conditioned and the bus driver gave us water and snacks. She was extremely informative about all parts of the ranch and she was a lot of fun, taking photos of all of this when we asked. My brother and his two sons did the UTV tour which they said was a lot of fun and the boat ride catamaran which they also enjoyed.

Rick martinez

The UTV was great. Lots to see, great views. The boat ride. Not so much. The staff on the boat trip didn't tell much about the property or a lot of the history other than the water? If it's not in a package deal. Skip the boat ride. The UTV tour tour is a 5 star rating. But over all the two excursions as one rating was a 3. Staff at the ranch were not the most polite. Danny the guy that cleaned up at lunch was very nice and helpful.

Alisha Adames

The coolest place. If you are doing a lot of activities it can get pricey but they do give discounts when you bundle plus there’s military discount too. I like that the horses are just there for people to come up and pet and they are all so nice and just let you love them. The people are very nice and well informed on their jobs they were able to answer every single question I asked. There’s so much to do here it’s def worth checking it out.

Marcos Shiang

I took the movie site tour and it was amazing! Our local tour guide is funny and speaks fluent Chinese, and he even prepared a T-Rex to make our pictures more interesting. I definitely recommend this place. If you are lucky, you can even spot some movie stars.

consuelo apodaca

Greatest experience! We took the ATV 2.5 hour tour with lunch, it rained almost the entire time which made the experience even greater! Our tour guide Austin was engaging, fun and gave us lots of information on the ranch as well as Hawaii. He made sure we all had an amazing time! This experience is definitely one that will never be forgotten amongst my family.

Helen U.

My husband and I did kayaking and the movie tour here. Kayaking was awesome! We kayaked to Chinaman's Hat and to a private beach. Our guide was really friendly and the waters were calm. The movie tour was okay. It was cool to see all the movies filmed there but we are not big movie buffs and it was mostly riding on the bus and looking at the ranch space.

Lisa Boyd

This place is absolutely gorgeous! My husband and I took our 10 year old son on the Movie Sites and Ranch Tour on our last day in Oahu. I wish we had done this tour earlier in our trip because I would have booked additional tours later, but we ran out of time. The film locations were not all that exciting because most were just signs in the field. The WWII army bunker and the breathtaking views made it worth the time and money. Our tour guide was hilarious and kept us laughing the whole time!

Omar Perez

I want to give a shout out to Jared who drove the jeep during the Jungle Jeep Expedition Tour. That was incredibly fun and I feel bad for anyone who doesn't experience the thrill of a fast and bumpy ride up and down that path. The freshly picked guava was the cherry... I-I mean, the guava on top! It doesn't get better than that. Keep your arms inside the vehicle and stay buckled, though, because you're likely to snap your arm if you try to reach for foliage or fruit. I can't give the place a perfect 5, however, because they didn't have a stepping stool for my elderly aunt to get up on the bus for the movie tour. She wound up scratching her shin while getting down on the first attempt at getting up. She's fine and healed, though. Perhaps it was our fault for being unprepared and not bringing our own stepping stool, but I expected a bit more accommodation from an establishment like this. A rock would have sufficed, even. Perhaps the weakest part of the tour was the Taste of Kualoa Ranch, but that was after the lunch buffet and after the Jungle Jeep Expedition Tour. You can't top that, really. But I recommend this part for children, the elderly, non-thrill seekers, if you want to "tone it down" after the Jungle Jeep, or if you haven't already gone to the Dole Plantation Tour. It was, however, an overall incredible experience and I encourage everyone to check out the ranch! And give Jared a raise. He deserves it.

Brady Crump

This was definitely a highlight of our trip on Oahu! We loved it! One of the most beautiful places on the planet! We took the bus tour, which was perfect for a family with little kids it Tooke about 90 minutes. They have options for four wheelers and horseback riding too. Loved it!!

Dawn Bahr

We did the Zip line and our family of four had a great experience. Jeremiah, Rocky, and Nate made a great experience even better. Yes it’s a lot of money but we are so glad we did it. We especially enjoyed the ride to the Zip line base camp. We saw some of the same things the other tours see. We only did the Zip line because the other tours were full but it worked out for the better. If you are trying to decide whether or not to spend the money like us...do it! You won’t regret it.

Nick Perez

Great place for sight seeing. They have a variety of activities, horse back riding, zip lining, a movie tour they film many movies and TV shows here. Kind of a tourist thing to do but fun for the whole family.

Devon Wanderon

(Signed up for the 1 hour ATV tour) Beautiful piece of property, tour guide was awesome, hearing about all of the movies shot on the ranch was pretty cool. Only thing worth noting is that the ATVs are basically regulated to not go over 12-15 mph, and are set to 1st gear (no shifting required/allowed)... So when you do reach into the "double digit" speeds it sounds like you're naturally riding a grumbling vehicle that's being reved up and needs to shift into the next gear. Kind of annoying, but I suppose the pros make up for the single con.

Yannick Desgre

UTV Tours are NOT 1 hour.. From the time you watch the security video, get to your vehicle/starting point, strap in, wait for the others to be ready, etc etc.. You have about 30 minutes left to visit. It is still beautiful.. Only 1 photo stop. Not worth the price.

Juan Scott

Great family vacation excursions. Beautiful scenery! Lifetime memories. Bring your own lunch. Food very expensive, yet souvenirs are reasonably priced!

Scott Valamier

This place is an awesome way to spend the day when your on the island. Highly recommend the ATV tour, especially if you can swing the ATV adventure package with the ocean voyage and jungle expedition. It's the best way to see almost the entire ranch, beats the other tours hands down! Staff are amazeballs, super friendly and very knowledgeable. Thanks again xo :)

Jose De oliveira

Great tour for a bit of history on WW2 and the contribution of this part of the island. Did the zipline but had to pay for the photos. Tour guides in general very informative and funny.

Eric Barbeau

Second time in Hawaii, second time at the Ranch. The third time to Hawaii, I will be back. The ATV, boat and jungle truck tour is truly worth it. Knowledgeable staff on both culture and cinema tributes. Lots of fun see you next time. PS, did the side by side the first time and truly great to.

Mrs. Keaira Cooper

We did the movie tour with Kashel as our guide. She was AMAZING, very knowledgeable and funny. Her laugh is contagious

Charles Naut

The ranch is absolutely breathtaking. I was here for the Spartan race and had to stop multiple times during the race to take in my surroundings because it was so beautiful. Lots of movies have been filmed here and you will see some pieces from the sets of movies like Jurassic Park.

Dawn Quintana

Fun tour and Tiara was the BEST tour guide! We did the Jungle Jeep Tour and decided Tiara enjoys her job because everyone had a blast! Well worth the money for the tour because it was good entertainment.

Bryan Hunter

Great place! Kaleb is an AWESOME tour guide and was really knowledgeable about the park and it's contents, both past and present. I took the Movie Primier Tour, which went through most of the movie sets and sights that the park has to offer. He even took some photos with my family and I for me, with a phone and my good camera. The tour in and of itself was fantastic. It had many sites that were breathtaking and brought back memories from lots of movies. I was even told that you might see a movie or something of the sort be filmed if you come, so that's a plus... All in all, WORTH THE PRICE! Would recommend to anyone wanting good pictures, a good time, and a memorable experience. 10/10.

Amel Hujdurovic

We had an awesome time at Kualoa Ranch. We did 2 hour UTV tour and it was great. Our tour guide, Natasha was great.

Angela g

I love it there. Great tours, 4 wheeling hiking! I just wish that one of the three visits I made to Hawaii I would have seen the ROCK! Always just missed him! :(

Vishal Iyer

Such an awesome experience! We did the zip lining and a bike ride. Every single staff member was fabulous. Oh, and the food (we didn’t do the buffet)- I didn’t really expect it to be good, but the garlic shrimp was the bomb. It was one of the best meals I had in Oahu.

Kellie Allen

Jeremiah, Raven and Rocky were fantastic guides! I'm not in the best of shape but they helped me every inch of the way. Some of the climbs are strenuous but if I can make it, pretty much anyone can. Bucket list item = zip lining = ✅

Ronald Marler

Love Kualoa Ranch. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The horseback riding tour was fun. Anna was friendly and a great guide. She was very knowledgeable about the ranch. I would do this tour again.

Hannah Plowman

Had a great time at Kualoa Ranch! We did the Movie Sites tour which was funny, informative, and enjoyable for people of all ages. Our tour guide was hilarious, her name was Fono, highly highly recommend her! The site is gorgeous, and the only way to see it is by tour. The horseback riding and ATVing also looked spectacular and would be great to try in the future. This is a must see if you’re on Oahu! You won’t be sorry!

Sandra Molina Robayo

We did the Zipline and it was so cool. The 3 guides were so friendly, nice, funny. We really enjoyed the amazing/wonderful sights of the large/beautiful mountains & the ocean. We loved that experience!

Stf Scw

If you don't book in advance, you might not be able to go on a tour. The nature in the area looks nice, but prices aren't cheap. The Ranch was used for a couple of well-known films.

Lacey Bennett

2.5 Hour UTV Tour - This was fantastic and the perfect trip! The ranch is beautiful and the scenery is one of a kind. The UTV let's you ride and talk to your party and also provides some shade. We had Sarah as a guide and could not be happier. We couldn't stump her with any of our hundreds of questions! She knew all the great photo spots and really made the trip enjoyable. The food is mostly grown and made on the ranch (which is still a functioning cattle/agricultural ranch). Definitely recommend this experience!

SHERYL RATCLIFF

The horseback riding was very peaceful, and relaxing. The only drawback is they say you have to wear pants, so while you are burning up on pants a family of mounts up in shorts. Not sure why they were above the rules.

Debra Caracol Person

Was a spectator at the Spartan race..it was awesome..first time here! Brittney & Aaron flew in from LA to participate..truly loved the course and scenery

Rossie

It’s a great place to go and have fun with the family. From horse riding, atv, bikes etc. The tours are nice and the interaction with Mother Nature, and the views from there are breathtaking.

Blossom Haiku

This place is stunning and beautiful. It is peaceful and there is fun for the whole family.

Jared Benson

We did the Jungle Tour, an ATV tour and the Ocean Voyage on our trip to the ranch and it was a lot of fun. The guides for the Jungle Tour knew the property like the back of their hand. They gave us the rundown on the Polynesian history of the property and showed us a few of the movie sets that are still standing. From there, the ATV tour was unbelievable! The scenery is absolutely stunning and there were more movie locations to see. They let us stop a few times for pictures and the entire staff was very helpful getting everyone comfortable with the ATVs. The last part of our adventure was the Ocean Voyage. You stay in the bay and don't really hit the open ocean but we still saw a couple of sea turtles and again, the scenery can't be beat. Given the chance, we'd go back and do the tours that we couldn't do this time around. An all around great experience!

Brad Hansen

We had an amazing experience. Paid for the VIP package, which was totally worth it (Got to get out a lot more than the standard movie tour, had some special surprise treats, and got a nice air conditioned ride). We had an amazing tour guide (Caleb) who took pictures for us at so many cool and fun sites and even made some fun videos.

Laura Bonner

My husband and I absolutely loved our time here! We did the Zip & Dip package. The zip line was incredible, just for the scenery alone! Not to mention our guides, who were so fun and hilarious and made an already fantastic day that much better. If you are staying in a place where you have access to a private beach, I would skip the private island part. It was fun, but not really necessary. I would not pass up an opportunity to zip line here. We didn't do the other activities, but the overall beauty of this place is just unbelievable. I highly recommend it.

Brett R

Great location and Zipline. Food is pretty average. Private island a bit run down. A little busy when we went. The Zipline tour guides were excellent and great sense of humour.

Joe R

Went there 19 years ago on my honeymoon, and just went again for our daughter's graduation. Was even better than the first time. We did the 2 hour UTV tour and I would highly recommend. I think our guide was Leah, she was so cool!

James Norton

Staff was great. Tour was fun. The management should work in relationship with staff it was clear that the staff really didn't like the management. Partially because the POS system went down. This is said to happen regularly. But on average very cool place.

Danielle M

We booked the 2 hour ATV tour and it was OK. Just not what I expected. You spend a lot of time off the ATV walking around a military bunker, looking at movie props, and taking pictures. While on the ATV, you never go over 10 miles an hour and you follow a dusty trail through the valley. We crossed the only stream on the property twice and although it was tiny, it was the highlight of the ride. It was the only thrilling part getting to splash each other. You need something to cover your nose and mouth! It is crazy dusty! We were filthy when the tour ended! We did see some cool and beautiful sites but I don't think I'd go back.

Such a fun experience. We did the zip lining tour and instantly the tour guide where joking around and fun with everyone. They didn't exclude anyone and made the whole group genuinely laugh. The bus driver was also extremely fun and peppy. We where a quiet group but she did a good talking and making the bus not feel like a bunch of strangers.

I took my husband to Hawaii for his 30th. We have always wanted to come to Kualoa! The tour was amazing, you most definitely get your money’s worth. My favorite thing was the ATV tour. We had a wonderful guide. The free buffet that comes with it could’ve been better, especially for the amount of money you’re paying for the ranch. All in all it was a great experience and we would do it again!

We took the movie bus tour with Jimmy and it was the best tour on the island because of him. I highly recommend it for those of you wanting a great tour with great views and lots of history. Jimmy made the tour; he was full of jokes even with our pitiful crowd. I give him my highest rating!

C'mon... who didn't like Jurassic Park? Lovely afternoon with Auntie, aka Lisa our tour guide, being chauffeured around the spectacular mountainous property of the ranch. Many, many photos.

Took the Jungle Expedition tour with my family and we absolutely enjoyed it. Tour guide, Dee, gave an excellent tour. He was fun, informative and made everyone feel comfortable. Very personable! Scenery was just breathtaking! Highly recommend this tour.

ATV's around the ranch was super fun! You will be hot & get dirty. Plan accordingly. Bring eye, face protection, & wear bug spray! (gift shop has scarves) If you plan on using action camera, bring strap for helmet. Holding phones etc.. not permitted while driving. The Jungle Expedition was equally a good experience. You'll be given a brief history of Hawaiian laws as you go up in the mountains. It's quite a bumpy ride, but what do you expect? You'll see movie sets, & finally make it to the top where the view is Amazing. There is plenty of stops for photos. The gift shop has variety of novelties/souvenirs. I highly recommend for a fun filled day!

Wow! Absolutely a great time. Paulo, our guide, was fun and personable. Seeing the beautiful scenes in person that we saw on the big screen was a delight. I recommend this tour to everyone at any age.

Had such a wonderful time with our granddaughter at the State Farm Fair. There was so much to do for everyone. We especially loved all the activities in the Kids Zone. The only down side was the drive to get there. With only a two lane road to get there, it too such a long time waiting in traffic.

Fun ATV ride, a must see attraction when in Hawaii. If travelling from Waikiki allow an hour to get there and make sure you check in on time. The ATV tour doesn't allow you to bring much and it's a good idea to bring a small back pack. You don't get that dirty but your shoes might through the river crossing.

Went to visit the farm fair...pretty cool and lots of plants to choose from. Great time and the "Blue" exhibit was a treat as just watched the latest Jurassic movie!

Raptor Tour 2-hour... My wife and I took the 2-hour raptor tour Monday, July 8, 2019 @8:30 am. Our guide was Austyn. From the moment we met him at check in, until the end of the tour he was amazing. He was helpful, funny, kind and generous. You can tell he truly loves what he does. Please don’t ever lose him. The views we experienced on the tour were amazing. It truly is a special place. We spent 16 days exploring the islands and out of everyone we met, he exemplified the true “Aloha” spirit. He is truly a kind and helpful soul. Thank you Austyn for helping to make our Hawaiian trip so special. “Aloha”. Phillip

Went on the Jungle Tour, it was great. We had a ton of fun even though it was pouring rain. Unfortunately we visited on our last day in Hawaii, but we'll be sure to go back to Kualoa Ranch next time we're in Hawaii.

I did the ATV and secret island location and had a really good day out. The scenery was absolutely amazing and overall was just a really fun and relaxing experience

Lori Moye

What a wonderful place! We enjoyed every moment of the activities we scheduled (who wouldn't want to ride an ATV in "Jurassic Park" or visit a secret island?) But this place is much more than that. A private nature reserve and ranch that's been in the same family for generations it has views for days. Where mountains meet ocean, and I'm sure millions could be made if commercially developed it is an amazing treasure. Especially in this day and age. The world needs more places like this. Must see if you visit Oahu!

Joaquin Diaz

A great place for locals and tourists to visit. It can be an all day adventure or a quick stop. There are many different activities from ocean tours to ATV rides. The movie tour is always fun. There is a gift shop and some good food to eat. Come by on your way to the North Shore.

Very nice place! we didn't even felt the time passing by! We had so much fun! We took the ATV package on sunday what meant that we didn't had the catamaran sail and got the movie site tour instead - i had a great time because i came for the movies but my mom (52 year old) was a bit bored... Nice lunch- not great but nice. The ATV was amazing experience!

Had an awesome time! Took the Premier Movie Tour and thoroughly enjoyed it! This I'd the only tour that allowed you to actually explore mot of the movie sets and recreate some of the more famous scenes in the Jurassic World movies series.

I payed just a shy amount over 50$ USD for a trip through the movie attractions at this location. The attraction was a bus ride through all of the major locations of TV shows and movies, but was slightly rushed. I feel like there should have been a little more time at the different points along the ride. If you are one to spend time at a local beach and to use the great facilities, then it is worth the cost. Have a great time!

100000% worth the price! The best thing we did while on the island. We did the Jeep ranch tour and the views were breathtaking. We also got to see some of the locations where they filmed movies, like Jurassic Park. The whole tour lasted about 2 hours, including stops. We were able to sit at the very front, which according to the guides is the best place to be if you suffer from back pain as it can be quite bumpy.

Natalie T

The jungle expedition tour was so much fun! It was affordable, easy to book, and was very enjoyable. The ride was very bouncy, but it took us up to the top of a mountain with beautiful views and the tour guide was very funny. There were tons of fun stops for photos along the way.

Francisco O

Very touristic. Staff was very friendly. Some views are beautiful

Beverly Maharg

Beautiful scenery and great people. Try the cafe food...was delicious! Will come back for another day!??

Y K

It is a very nice place. The hamburgers and garlic shrimps with white rice served in the restaurant were the best. Bravo!

Thomas Jordan

This fantastic location has activities for everyone. The premiere movie site tour took us around to many different filming spots, most of which still had movie props laying around/built. There are opportunities to ride horses, ATVs, UTVs, and zip line.

Ryan

Stephanie was a fantastic tour guide on the Movie Sites and Ranch tour! Beautiful views with a hilarious and knowledgeable commentary.

T Smith

Had a great time, loved the movie tour! Our guide had a creative way for us to pose on the Jurrasic Log. Amazing scenery with the historical ties to the military service during WWII were great to learn about.
