REVIEWS OF Banzai Pipeline IN Hawaii

Ricky Bobby

Cool place to visit, especially during the winter, when there are bigger waves and surfing competitions there.

Jim Connell

Beautiful beach and water. Would have given 5 stars but there was neither surf not pipe. Very small parking lot. Might have to park across the street at the school.

Becky Mildon

We went here to watch some surfers and it definitely delivered. Some seriously talented people out on the waves.

Pat Brophy

This is the famous big wave pipeline. It's kind of a winter thing though. Winter swells against the shallow reef creates the monstrous waves and long tube rides.

Word2urmomma1 Simpson

Awesome experience.

Ryan V

Omg, Surfing.. Seriously omg.. Ermahgrd!

Debi Meier

wish I was a good enough surfer to try ut myself

Barbara Havrot

Beautiful beach to stop at to watch the surfing action. Bring your binoculars and chill.

Sean Fisher

Absolutely insane. The surfers are incredibly brave. The beauty here is surreal. The sunset is indescribable. You have to see it if you're in the area and thinking about it. Go for the sunset if nothing else.

Bill Heath

Off season rent a house and enjoy the beach!

Jesse Lassandro

I can't even begin to say how humbling it was too sit on this beach and just have the world show me what it could do. Amazing. I wish I was on psychedelics but my jaw was on the floor regardless

Marijke D.

Banzai Pipeline, ticked off my bucket list! What a stunning spot - big waves, no crowds. Bliss!

Dane Fergusson

Some of the nicest waves around

Bennie Ann Duenas Mesa

Amazing surf, sand and breathtaking sunsets

Jason T

Its pipeline, what's not to love

Tom Kozak

Great beach for surfers. I am not one of those but when we went to see them, waves were about 15-20 feet. Some outstanding talents in the water. Nice to watch. Its a nice beach to walk around, nice sand, swimming is not permitted. Parking is pretty hard to find close, its a popular spot. You can find parking within 10 minute walk on the street (there is spots on the street that you cannot park on, check for signs or you will get tickets).

Anthony Gonzales

Just incredible. You see it in movies and on TV but nothing compares to ACTUALLY being there. So dope

Renee Kurdziel

Absolutely beautiful. Loved my Air BNB. Amazing view from the house

Jorge Chavez

Bonzai Pipeline !

Judi N

Awesome place when the surf is on

Julian Salvo

Beautiful with huge waves and always fun to either surf or watch the surfers

Rephael Inbar

Beautiful!

Arianna Cacciatore

Huge and clean beach. Possibility to take some rest under the natural shadow of plants at the bottom of the beach. The waves are spectacular and so fun!

Alex Matlock

Beautiful quiet beach during the off season. Wave break is a little strong so be careful with small children but overall a great location. Decent snorkeling as well.

Wynne Reddish

It's a beach! Sometimes it has amazing tube waves but on other days, like when we were there, it's a beach, a nice beach but just a beach.

James Thompson

Fun watching the surfing.

Mark Hunter

Must see spot on North Shore.

Ellen Sheppard

Because I visited in April, there were none of the fabulous tube waves one imagines (that's in the winter months), but the area is still gorgeous. Lots of photo ops, memorable food trucks, and gorgeous black sand.

Cullen Brimhall

Best beach we found on Oahu

Kim Blalock

Turtle watching for me, swimming and surfing for the kids.

Ramon Meleka

Great place

Thomas Vernon

Beautiful place even when the waves aren't firing

yisroel luchins

Really nice place , also great waters for surfing

Mandy Davis

Winter swells are happening in Northshore! The waves are stunning! Would recommend visiting in the winter months to see the big waves and surf competitions.

Sebastien Hunziker

The beach is gorgeous and if it is a good day, you can see the ocean get mad! The waves can go up to 20 feet and provide an amazing show! We never saw such waves. You will find mainly surfers or people sunbathing. I am sure you can swim there but at your own risk as when we went there, there was signs NO Swimming. It can also be because we went during the Pipe master. Yes, this is where the pipe master happens every year in December. You can park around the beach on the side of the road.

Ron Ejan

Nice place to watch big waves and surfers.

Jay Fuentes

Amazing beach to catch waves

Tonya Smith

This is where I seen the most beautiful sunset of my life!!!! I will be back Hawaii!!!!

Nathan Strain

It's a wonderful beach. But plan ahead for parking and don't swim when there are big waves unless you are experienced.

Daniel Campos de Oliveira

Beautiful beach!

Uday Reddy

Amazing to watch waves here! There's actually also a tiny lagoon / tidal pool for kids to play on the beach.

fabian aloha-grane

probably my favorite spot on earth

Pono Guerrero

Great place to snorkel in the summer and in the winter it’s one of the best waves to surf in the world but only for the really well experienced. It can be very dangerous out there.

Hannah Plowman

Gorgeous beach! It wasn’t very busy when we went which made it even better. I wouldn’t suggest it for swimming since the water is rough and it seems dangerous but for exploring Hawaii it is a must see, especially in the winter when the surfers are out.

Darian Wickstead

Banzai pipeline is a beautiful beach to enjoy the surfers (especially during winter) or to enjoy the beauty of the North Shore. The beach is quite vast, and the waves are large and aggressive. Meaning this isn’t a beach to snorkel and swim. The sand was extremely hot, but that’s Hawaii...

Gary Blevins

Unreal! We saw surfers rocking 40' waves! Amazing. DO NOT TRY TO SWIM HERE UNLESS YOU ARE INSANE OR A PROFESSIONAL! NO KIDS SHOULD BE ANYWHERE NEAR THIS WATER WITHOUT A TIGHT LEASH. THE RIPTIDE PULL GROWN MEN FROM THEIR FEET. Go to Turtle Bay just up the street for a swimming and family fun.

morcita falcon

Nice place to explore! You can't swim there!

B L

Huge waves for big surf. Quiet and less busy beach. Strong winds

Tina Fugate

Our first morning on the island we stopped here to watch the sunrise. It was breathtaking!!

Israel Correia

I heard about pipeline since i was a kid and when i got there it just looks unreal, its a beautiful place. You can see how people feel so happy there

D. Gonzalez

Gorgeous

Lauren Bourque

Gorgeous beach. Fun to watch the surfers. Not crowded in May.

Rick Canencia

Beautiful beach, lots of sand. BE CAREFUL OF THE WAVES, especially during the winter season when the waves are HUGE! Talk to the lifeguards & locals. Safety first, always.

Jeremy Carter

Amazing experience. Wow and soooo beautiful!!

Russell R

Beautiful waves! Enough to snap your neck like a twig. Don't go there please. Just keep driving and enjoy the other great beaches the North shore has to offer. Especially if you are tourist, make a local friends and have them take you. Matter of fact, do that (make a local friend who can take you around) with anywhere outside Waikiki

Willi Edwards

No questions

Sean Miller

Great beach to watch the volcom pro surf event. Catch some rays and watch the pros do what they do.

Rony Peterson Jabour

Amazing place. If you have a chance, come and appreciate it.

Trevor Woodcock

Only on North Shore

Mark Shepardson

The Place is Famous 4 a RealGood Reason. It's Up there in the ranks of Everest in the SurfingWorld. My Favorite Wave since 1978

Muriah Johns

This is not a swimming beach. This is a beach where you watch experienced surfers, play in the sand, tan, eat lunch. But worth visiting. Come in the winter when the waves are 10+. Be prepared to park down the road and walk on the hidden sidewalk path.

John Nesslage

6 to 8 footers breaking closer to shore, not really a swimmers beach but a stunning beach just to sit and watch.

Honolulu Commercial Cleaning

If you love surf this is the place to be!

John Mullin

Small waves in the winter. Pretty remote and rustic.

Neil Torrance

Bucket place stop for me. Love this place!!

Joe Carosella

Great surfing

CJ Jenkins

Amazing! We love the waves that push you in and pull you out.

Bianca Pedral

Great for surfers, big waves, clean restroom with a shower

David Charnley

One of the best surfing locations on earth. However, not for amateurs as the surf is very powerful with a reef under your feet. Boggy boarding is great in small surf conditions. Also fun to watch the surfing competitions during winter months.

Kyle Dumpert

Water gets crowded when the waves are good. Locals make it hard to catch any waves but up or down the beach is less crowded. Stay out of the water if you aren't experienced. Strong currents and dangerous reef

Atif Khan

We didn't see big waves, but those are during winter based on what I have read. Nonetheless, there were a lot of surfers in the water and it's just beautiful location, especially at sunset.

Aaron Armstrong

Amazing beach. It wasn't on my main list of things to do but REALLY happy my wife grew up watching Blue Crush and 'HAD TO GO!'

Trilby Saldana

gorgeous

Johnny Irwin

Gorgeous but it seems like the beach is eroding much smaller than the last time we were there

Dylan Matthews

Wasn't working properly, not big enough. But still fun to get out for a paddle

Gabriel BIEULES

Not easy to park but worth it. Waves are huge! The beach is beautiful

Cort Soest

Just about the most picturesque beach location I have ever visited. A 5 minute car ride to an awesome snorkeling location at sharks cove, while also being right next to waiamea beach. An absolute must see.

Dennis Mavridis

Loved it. Icon of the surfing world. Was great just to visit

Yelena Zagurskaya

Beautiful beach! Not too packed in june-july

Jayson Maharaj

One of my favorite spots

Yui Albert

Come out on surf season

Ben Brierley

Good surf

Selina Ineichen

I love the north shore. Was also there for the pipe masters and WSL (world surf league), as a spectator. An amazing experience. Beautiful during every time of the year. Was there in April, June and December.

Paulo Travassos

Amazing

Myra Barber

Awesome wave watching

Jonathan Southee

I went in May and it was quiet, just a few surfers out and quite unassuming. It’s not got big signposts saying “this is pipeline” so just follow your gps on maps and it will get you pretty close

Jerid Rathore

Oh man this beach was a blast. Jumping into the big waves and getting tossed around. Super fun. Try this if you can and bring something to drink to chase all the saltwater you will accidentally swallow. Serioulsly!! Lol

Steve Holt

Beautiful place for sure!!
