This 2-state state park is a great location in the greater Philadelphia / Wilmington area. The wide creek is an important feature in the park - on both sides. The Delaware side (with permission - contact the office) allows mineral collecting, such as panning garnets and magnetite from the creek.

Great hiking and fishing!

My favorite place to hike locally. Lots of trails and very peaceful. Trails follow along the creeks and you can hike into DE on the trails. The trails don’t loop though so you have to pay attention to where you’re going.

Beautiful place to explore. Not recommended to go into the water without footwear due to the possibility of fishing hooks. Worth buying the season pass if you plan on being a regular visitor.

Nice place for a leisurely pedal, walk, or whatever else you could want. Most of the trail is either crushed gravel or packed dirt.

Great trail for runners, walkers and bikers alike.

Did a nice 7 miles today along the Penndel trail and the Charlie. Something trail. Nice loop trail, but very muddy. No potties at the start which is another negative. This time of year good to visit the local Delaware side of the park, they don't start charging to park until March 1 St.

Similar to White Clay Creek State Park in Delaware but this side has the beautiful Creek in it's midst! Crystal clear, cool, and oh so musical, few things can compare to this magical place hidden in Pennsylvania!
