I loved it! I constantly found things to do here. Rather it is from the beer constitution yard, or the dupont environmental center. There are never ending sometimes unknown adventures at the river front in wilmington.

Beautiful area. Nice place to stroll along the river with good views of the water and marsh, lots of interesting birds live along the path. Close to many attractions including movie theater, restaurants, stadiums, mini golf, a childrens museum, shops, and more. There is a river taxi that gives rides down the Christiana that is very affordable and worth a trip, the captain is a real character and very knowledgeable about local history. A great place to take the family or go for drinks and dinner with friends.

It's a very nice addition to the great city of Wilmington, Delaware. The cleanup of the river restores the natural beauty of life that's always been in place. Perfect for a walk after dinner and it also adds to family fun since the Delaware Children's Museum is there as well.

This is a great walkway along side the river. There are a few places to get food at various points along the walkway ranging from ice cream to burgers.

Nice open green space, thats walking distance to entertainment, salons, public transit, luxury apts (think 2000 plus) reastarunts, market, walking, jogging paths, vegan spots, gym, river cruises and a lot of prom photo shoot ideas. Certain areas like starbucks is college students, weekends constituion beer garden is family friendly (kids outside playing softball, kickball, cornhole and other lawn games while the reluctant teens babysit (im sure theirs an allowance upgrade somewhere in there for them)and adults have fun)), Docklands for the young professional (girlfreinds, coworkers or date)), occasional family or middle-aged person, River Rock is for our Seasoned Saints, the person who forgot an anniversary or birthday or someone, trying to stand out amongst potential courters without seeming obnoxious, The families, church youth and school groups have the childrens musuem and trampoline park covered.

This is really closer to 5 stars. The River Walk itself is a beautifully constructed boardwalk along the Christina river. There are numerous informational plaques along the way. During the winter there is an outdoor ice skating rink. The winter, however is the problem. There is only one public restroom along the whole walk, and it is closed all winter long. A lot of the businesses seem to have winter hours, and a problem I have with Wilmington in general is that the hours for most businesses absolutely suck. The other problem with the River Walk is the never ending construction. I do mean never ending. There has been construction along the River Walk somewhere ever since I moved to Wilmington.

With Wilmington being the largest city in Delaware, it's a nice relaxing walk up and down the Riverfront Walk, it's true it's a little bit sparse, but another way to think of it is that it's not over developed, just have to figure out what the right balance is of stores in keeping up with nature, in contrast to having it so over developed and crowded, etc.
