I like the serenity of the woods. The trail (s) are marked, but confusing.

We packed a picnic lunch and hiked into the landing along the Broadkill River. Nice watching the fish jumping.

This is a great trail for a 20, 40, or 60-minute walk. There are 3 loops.

Went hiking there on Friday, July 5th. The hike itself was not strenuous and there was no one else on the trail. However, the flies/mosquitoes were horrible. As soon as we hiked past the kayak/canoe launch, they were non-stop. Spraying my arms and legs only kept them off those parts of my body. The rest was fair game. It was only after I had returned past the canoe/kayak launch did they seem to leave me alone. Recommend, that if you want to hike, go in the cooler weather.
