What an amazing place! So much wildlife! The guide gave us lots of really helpful information. She said the best time to see horseshoe crabs was in May so we will definitely be going back to find out! Never tire of Delaware! Anyone willing to loan me a house so I can live there?

This is a wonderful nature center sorrounded by the Delaware bay and the Mispillion river. Although a small facility it houses some really interesting exhibits about the wildlife, fish and birds. The place is staffed by knowedgeable and interesting people who will guide you on learning about the amazing Delaware bay Fauna and Flaura. Truly an amazing place.

The displays and conversation with the staff were very informative and concentrated on species in the local area. We enjoyed watching them feed the horse shoe crabs, turtles, fish, and lobster.

This place was AWESOME! There were two very friendly gals working and answering all our questions. They held storytime and walked the kids from tank to tank, pointing out the camouflage of the animals and asking questions. We got to hold several creatures, horseshoe crabs, two kinds of whelks, tiny hermit crabs and a hefty oyster, and then the highlight of our visit- HORSESHOE CRAB FEEDING TIME. They even fed the baby! It was the size of a half-dollar. Talk about fascinating. Don't miss this place, it is fantastic!

Absolutely stunning, informative, beautiful, and good for all ages and handicapped accessible. And .... FREE! While I was there many bird-watchers with expensive long-lensed cameras invited me to have a look. Inside the science center there was many live creatures to see and learn about. A must see

A nice place to visit. Well off the beaten path. If your able to the beach you can see many Horseshoe Crabs. If they are turned over on their back and still alive turn them over and set them free...

Nicole Weaver

A little out of the way, but a nice place. Small building, but the space is used well and the staff was kind and very knowledgable. Had a great conversation with them. I wish their website had more information regarding events and such. Overall, a nice experience for our kids.
