I was there when it got rained out in May and there was no where to get out of the rain? In October it would have been nice if there was driver and fan meet. Do driver interviews on a public stage. The bands at both races was a good choice. The Monster show needs bleachers , you couldn't see unless you was up front. The race wasn't very competitive ?

It's nice has DJ's sometimes live performers, and if you like slots, and of course the car racing, a bar to bet on horse racing and sports, they serve drinks and food. (It could be a fun night out).

Security there needs to chill out. They make it really difficult to get in to work. I couldn't imagine coming as a fan it would completely ruin my experience. Otherwise good facility with one of a kind racing.

We went here for our first Monster Mile Monster Energy NASCAR race. It was probably one of the top rated or even best experiences I have had at a racetrack and I've been at a few. The only complaint I can think of is the parking situation but as with any sporting event you'll have the same issues. You will be parked where they want to park you and depending on where your seats are you could be walking a few miles. I will be going back in the near future.

This was my first time at the Dover track, and 2nd NASCAR race ever. I attended with my husband and two elementary aged kids. We had a blast in the fan zone area before the race! We arrived 4 hours before the race and I was worried that our kids would get bored..but they were thouroughly entertained by multiple bounce houses, a globetrotter show, the military "touch a truck area, the burning rubber show (race cars doing doughnuts and making lots of smoke). The food was awesome, too...one food vendor in particular...can't remember the name, but just remember to look for the "sticky icky rice bowls." The race was fun, too, but the food and free activities before the race were the best surprises!

We got there early so my boys can play and get some pics , the race was very good, very entertaining but the only thing was the food , only a few concessions to eat and my boys want to eat a lot and was where is all the food stands, but anyway we had tons of fun and next time take my own snacks and drinks , people were very nice and friendly and was a lovely day .

The only NASCAR track I've ever visited, and it's well set up. Traffic flow in and out is not bad, and there are lots of activities in and around the Speedway (including the casino). If you're staying over, book rooms WELL in advance of any major race; we we're two months before the race and had to book 45 minutes away.

Excellent one mile high banked action packed race track. The one mile tracks are really nice as they are big enough for the cars to go very fast especially with the high banking Dover has. But small enough that you can see the racing well on the whole track. I've been a race fan for about 60 years and I was very impressed with this facility!

We had a reservation, called and confirmed at 2pm day if arrival and ti let them know we would be a late arrival. Got there at 10pm and they had given our room away and had to stay at another hotel. Next day we went back for our second nights stay and they made up for their error.

Great day big enough to handle the crowds besides this is a great family track just wish they would put handrails in for the handicap nothing to grab onto if your not to steady 9n your feet. Must install lights for night races no way am I going to sit in the hot sun for the August race in 2020

It was early in the morning on Saturday in mid-October. So it was chilly and kinda windy, plus I was slightly hungover. No matter! The vendors were *awesome*. I was lavished with gifts and attention, likely because my date and I were among the very few brave souls willing to be out so early in the day. The bar was open and everyone was friendly. Mini wrestlers in a ring, and stunts with motorcycle stunts cars. Pretty exciting. And all the military brought some of theirs helicopter and engines. To tell you all about them and what they have with a stimulator ride and a small tour for them. Everyone was nice and friendly. I would go back .to see the both xfinity and monster energy race.

This is a fantastic casino and hotel. We have been here several times and it is always enjoyable. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The drinks and food are reasonably priced and the games are fun. We recently went to a concert here and the venue was very nice. Get there early because it's first come first serve seating. They walk around and serve drinks or you can go out to the bar. Overall it is a great place to visit. Traffic coming from nova can be difficult getting there so be patient.

Really cool race track, but the casino ripped me off. I placed a bet on red at roulette "my only bet on roulette" my money was taken after red hit. The pit boss reviewed the video and told me I never placed a bet at all. I requested to see the video of me "not betting" but I'm not allowed to see the footage of me at the table. Very disappointed that the casino stole my money and told me that my money was never a thing

Had an amazing time with my family. We were able to see a Nascar race, thanks to Xfinity. The virtual cars were a blast to play. You get the feel of the race from the drivers perspective. There was so much to do before the race. We had excellent seats where we were able to see all the turns of the track. I took some amazing pictures. The track was very clean with very friendly and helpful staff. A must for family outings.

The anchor of the town, the glue of the people, and the beacon guiding the way for visiters. If you haven't been to a race, you're missing out. This legendary facility is home to a storied track. A short car ride from Philadelphia, it's easily accessible by anyone looking to check out a motor sports event. Parking is widely available on most sides of the venue. However, plan your parking around your seats. Unlike a football or baseball field, this behemoth takes about 30 minutes to walk around. Facilities are kept in tip top shape even during the big races. Staff is friendly and helpful. The adjacent casino offers fair priced tables and extensive slots and table games. If you'd rather have a fire and visit with old and new friends, camp sites are plentiful. You can bring your own beer and food into the speedway so long as it is in a soft sided cooler that is no greater than 20x20x20. Nearby sporting stores carry compliant coolers.

Everything was great and what you would expect for a racetrack. The stands are metal bleachers, clearly marked. The only thing that would be so nice to see improved and modernized would be the restrooms. They are more like sheds with toilets. But overall, no complaints. Always a fabulous race day!

My wife and I take my mom and sister 2 times a year. On her birthday and usually around June or July. She is 87 yrs young and still loves the slot machines. We been going there for close to 25 plus yrs. Would highly recommend this place. Beautiful accommodations also. Staff treats you like family.

Suite seats aren't very luxurious for the price. You would think there would be something better than filing chairs with minimum padding. I didn't have to sit in the long though because it rained the day of the race. I'm sure people complain about this all the time but we should at least get a partial refund when everything was canceled.

Pearl Oyster Grill on the property was very good for dining! Staff was friendly and helpful at the rewards center/players club. Property was clean and well maintained. Dry camping for RV is allowed. Couldn't find a video poker bar in casino however which is my favorite place to play.

My first trip to Dover Speedway. It was fun. Just like most stadium events, the experience lies heavily on the event, not the building. We sat in 100 section row 40. I thought the bleacher seats were comfortable enough for the 200 lap event we were at. I was advised to bring a seat cushion, but I didn't need it. Maybe a 400 lap event I would have used it. Restrooms were typical for this type of venue. For this NASCAR event, there was a lot of activities and souvenirs available before the race. Lots for the kids as well. We brought food in, so did not buy any.

Wonderful environment. Had a great experience, excitement all around, lots of people turn up in all colorful attires. Sports cars, Mighty Trucks, Boats on display. We went there for NASCAR Xfinity Series in May'19. With around 200 laps to go. There was a fair going on next to the Speedway selling trophies, t-shirts,caps,hats,etc. Huge parking facilities. Great sporting arena with good facilities.

Attended a fundraiser for Gals That Give. Nice venue, valet parking. Food was ok. Service was very good. The wait staff is always very good. I never walk to my car alone at Dover Downs. Walk in a group or use the valet. It's worth the $7.

Surreal to watch all the cars zooming past at speeds of 200kmph. But make sure u always carry ear plugs. It gets very noisy and after few laps irritating. There are plenty of food options available but quite pricey. Since there is no limitations on food to be carried in would recommend getting your own food and drinks.

The rooms are great, especially if you can get one overlooking the track. Bed is very comfortable and room is spotless clean. We saw Morris Day and the Time here in concert. Great location for music concerts.

I liked this place, first time I visited here. It is a huge area and you definitely want to look at a map beforehand.. the bathrooms are cleaned frequently, but concessions are like $4 for bottled water, food was like $5. Remember to have cash for parking!! They do have the golf cart things to get you around if need be.

I visit a least twice a year and always have a wonderful time. I rated 4 stars because they could do better with the room service menu. Not a very good selection of food items. Also I wish they would put recliner chairs in the rooms for better seating comfort. All in all a great place to spend a few days.

First of all, I want to mention to go to Dover in the first place was difficult for me because I'm a disabled veteran. I want to make sure EVERYONE is aware of how things are run at Dover Speedway so they don't lose money travelling to the place or paying for tickets. 1. They will not do ticket refunds and the insurance you can buy does not cover "rain". So, IF it rains you are basically screwed over, lose all that money you spent and have nothing but a ticket to throw away that is basically only good for a fire. They will say come the next day if you get rained out. They will not race if it rains. Let me repeat that for you. They WILL NOT RACE if it rains. They will say come back the next day and that is your ONLY option. Most can't afford to do 600 miles two times in a row back to back just to see a "race". They expect you to pay for a hotel room and that's "if" one is available and for apparently only those who have the size of Donald Trump's pocketbook. 2. They have no shelter for you if it rains. If you do happen to find shelter they kick you out. 3. Overall, the place is disorganized. They make it a huge hassle going there. 4. You have to pay $10.00 extra just to park on a Sunday. 5. They have no coverage over the stadium to protect you from the elements yet have a rule of "no umbrellas". This left a completely bitter taste in my mouth. Not only am I now out $100.00 for tickets, $10.00 for parking, toll fees and mileage, but I am beyond disappointed. I've never been to a car race and this would have been my first one. Don't waste your time, money or energy going. It's not worth it. I'll NEVER go back again EVER!!!!! I wish I would have had foresight to see what would happen. Hopefully my review of the place will help some poor soul avoid the costly mistake I made.

The rooms are great, especially if you can get one overlooking the track. Bed is very comfortable and room is spotless clean. We saw Morris Day and the Time here in concert. Great location for music concerts.

Now under new management. Hotel is still good, but they overbooked for the weekend I was staying. They made it right by offering upgraded rooms at no additional cost. Seems like there still getting used to running it.

I liked this place, first time I visited here. It is a huge area and you definitely want to look at a map beforehand.. the bathrooms are cleaned frequently, but concessions are like $4 for bottled water, food was like $5. Remember to have cash for parking!! They do have the golf cart things to get you around if need be.

Biggest rip off ever. No fun what so ever. Made numerous trips with alot of people and all same experience. The worst !!!!! Have been told by many people that the place has changed ownership. And many others have had the same experience as me. And it must be clear because the place is close to a gohst town every time. Clearly people are figuring it out. Anyway don't ever go there. I'm gonna tell everyone I know

Amazing race! It was my 1st time and watching the Xfinity 200 series was good! Concessions aren't too expensive, lots of port-a-potties (pls excuse spelling) and sitting plentiful. Word of advice... bring sunglasses, cap and earplugs otherwise ENJOY!! Update: Also, stayed an additional day to see Gander RV 400 race but unfortunately it was postponed due to the weather. But still had a great time!

My sister and I flew to Dover from Illinois for the Xfinity and Cup races. The speedway is awesome! We got some cool pictures of Miles the Monster, and all the people we interacted with (in a professional capacity) were great. Of course, NASCAR events draw all kinds, and some of the drivers' fans were over the top, it was still a very cool experience.

The prices are cheap and reasonable. Very nice place and the seats are all pretty good seats. obviously it is nicer to sit up top so you can see more.

Been going to Dover for the last 16 years. We love the Monster Mile! Excellent accommodations at Dover Downs Hotel, concerts, Michele's Restaurant, seafood, visit nearby Cornerstone church and Rehoboth Beach.
