It's very clean. There are bathroom facilities and a pavilion with BBQ grills. Two separate space themed playgrounds, one for toddlers, the other for big kids. There is an elevated boardwalk through the woods as part of a walking loop. The large field does lack shade though, except near the edge of the forest.

Big park, lots of open field with and without sports stuff. Great place to go and run with your pets or take a short and/or repeated walk. Feel like there could be more trails built in, and a little bit more playground though. But lots of field to run and play games. Not bad. 4/5 would walk again.

The park is a perfect stop for tourists with kids who travel to Delaware for a vacation. There is a sheltered picnic area overviewing two nice play sets and a climbing wall. I saw locals use the picnic area for birthday celebrations, park's extensive ealways for jogging, walking, and biking with kids. The park has a lot of open area and is good for using kites, badminton and all kinds of outdoor games.

Pleasant one-mile marked path, including .2-.3-miles in forest and about .8-mile track around baseball fields, well kept and nicely landscaped with benches for stretching, resting, enjoying the view. Also very nice play area for children, which includes a climb tower made like a rocket you know the and a rock wall for kids that looks like a mini mountain with four sides and a fairly level top. Also includes a meditation walk area, although the walkway pebbles/stones are a bit too slippery if you have any balance issues. They are pretty, with maybe mica so they sparkle, but a small section with crushed brown stone is more packed and easier to walk on. Overall, a nice little park.

Great little park to bring the family for the playground or a cookout. The gazebos are nice to get out of the sun. The walking path is short enough so you don't feel like you are taking the kids on a death march. I'll sometimes run from here out and around the back roads for a nice 7 mile loop. The cars are few and they give plenty of space. You can see and hear them coming from a far distance.

Nice park with various playground equipment for toddlers and small kids. Has several nice picnic areas and a pavilion. There is also a ball field and community center on the grounds.

This park has tons of space. Covered picnic Area which I think is great for when the weather is not completely cooperating with your plans to have a nice day out. Slides and swings for your toddlers and a Seperate set for the bigger kids even a few you can get on as well, if you dare. There's a small rock climbing wall and nice size workout area with about 10 different stations for push ups pull ups sit ups and a few others so you can get a quick workout in while the little ones tire them selves out. All in all a nice park I would suggest you bring a baseball, soccer ball, foot ball frisbee something to entertain when the tikes get tired of the limited things that are at the park for them to play on.

This place was very cool, it has a huge play ground any kid with an imagination should love. Huge slide, large pavilion, kiddy rock wall, a trail and more. It is well kept landscaping wise and also sports restrooms on site. I would definitely return with my child.

This is both a public park, and nature tour for anyone at all. Parking is free. There are tracks, playground, ball parks, and a good explanation of the wetlands of our geographic area. Great for any active child or adult.

Awesome place for any age kids. They have a small playground for the toddlers, and a bigger one for 3 years old and up. Also has a nice wooded walking trail. The playgrounds are space themed.

The park was clean. It is fun for all ages. The bathroom was clean but no soap. Please bring your own soap if you bring your kids. You can spend hours and hours at the park.

How are you going to have a park where the bathrooms are locked. This is not the first time either and we are here trying to have a birthday party and all the kids need to use the bathroom so bad. I called the park and recreation number and they said that there was nothing they could do because the maintenance was not working. There are three different parties going on here and not one bathroom.

No trash cans. People leave their trash everywhere because there are absolutely no trash cans anywhere. Besides that it's a nice park close to the highway but a nature view. Love the rock climb. Also pretty good setup for the kiddos .

Fun park for kids! They have a play area for younger children as well as older children, which is nice for the little ones that can't quite keep up. There's also a cool rock climbing boulder for the kids to climb on. There's also a nice shaded picnic area with plenty of tables and a nice nature trail to go for a walk/run. The park is also animal friendly with areas dedicated to animal play. The park asks you to remove your own trash but they provide garbage bags to do so. Unfortunately some people did leave some of there garbage in the parking lot. Please take your garbage with you if you visit this park! Help keep it clean!

Beautiful and big park. There's a huge rocket slide for the kids and nature trail with fact boards along the way. There's a water fountain for humans and dogs lol. There's also a picnic area that's a decent size with a canopy. I love bringing my kids here.

I love going to this park. my son always has a good time. The only bad thing about this time was that a man was yelling profanity and racist remarks. It made me and my family feel very uncomfortable. There were a few birthday parties going on and one party of the parties stood out in particular because they had a lot of people cussing loud in front of the kids. Walking around the park.

Very clean, nice park. We liked the little rock climbing setup and my one year old loved the little playground slides. If you're Google mapping to get there from the north, turn left on big oak red on Rt13. Maps tried to bring us to Dover and then back up Rt1. I think the location is wrong.

This is a beautiful well maintained park. This review will highlight jogging path and softball fields. The 1 mile jogging path is well marked with level ground and benches every tenth of a mile. There is little shade on path or benches so heat may be an issue in the summer for elderly and pets. The softball fields are gorgeous. There are 3 with separate parking, portable toilets, and bleachers. Again shade is absent so bring your own for day games. There are no concessions. This area has heavy wetlands so bugs may be an issue in the evenings. Overall this is a beautiful space to spend a day. There are shade trees throughout open park areas and plenty of covered picnic tables.

This is a very nice, quiet and kid-friendly park that is centrally located in Kent County. I pleasantly discovered that it was always less crowded than other nearby parks during each of my visits. They have a playground in 2 different sections, one for smaller kids, and one for bigger. Great for kids!
