Very cool place to visit, especially if you like watching or doing horseback riding. It was little bit pricey for non-Delaware residences though. ($4 for Delaware residences, $8 for others)
Love to visit here. saw a buck and some does today, pet some horses. And took a nice walk with family.
Great place for a picnic
Great area to clear your mind.
Great equestrian center, walking and exercise track for visitors, old DuPont Estate now a State Park
Has changed so much. Beautiful
This is a beautiful place. The people who work there are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. There is a certain tranquility to be found here. I am looking forward to coming back here to try the frisbee golf course when it isn't quite as cold.
Great 1st time at Delaware Brewfest
Nice quiet and clean trails.
Summer concert series at the park, great night
It was beautiful, peaceful, and sirene. The paths were long and winding and fun!!
A very interesting, and beautiful place. The staff provide many, valuable programs.
We were traveling for work in Philadelphia and Delaware was close by. It's one of the few states I hadn't been to so we decided to check it off the list. They charge an $8 fee to get in for non-residents which felt pretty steep to me. Most state parks don't charge. The park itself is nice, but didn't really feel like a state park to me. It was more at the level of a county park. There's a nice pond to walk around and some horse back riding I believe, but overall it doesn't really offer as much as other state parks. It would be a good place to hang out, but I probably wouldn't because of the entrance fee.
Probably worst park in Delaware... Crowded and limited parking.
Great clean state park to take the kids and enjoy the ponies and the play grounds for the kids. Also great fishing place inside Wilmington city limits. Bait and tackle vending machine was convenient for when I needed new hooks and bait. Only downfall was u have to pay to get it in the park but very inviting.
A BEAUTIFUL place to have a family Reunion or a birthday party or just hang out. It cost $4.00 to get in. Just clean your mess up & take it with you. If u don't want to clean up ur mess then don't go. It will be a smell of horses. But that smell will go away if ur not thT close to them. A BEAUTIFUL park
Wonderful state park to enjoy for an afternoon or weekend. Lots of trails, play gyms, frisbee golf and a catch and release pond. Horses are also neat to look at.
Walking, jogging and picnic. Free concerts on some summer days and weekends.
Beautiful little gem with great summer concert series
Very nice, well maintained public park with above average facilities, plenty of open, yet shaded areas and parking.
Very nice and clean. I sat on a new bench by the rest room and across from the green horse barn, the bench was clean but to low to the ground it should've been Bout 3in. taller. Other wise a very nice park.
The weather was great on the day we went. Got a season pass from the office where the folks are very nice. Wonderful grounds to explore. We loved the stables and horses. The lake was a nice place to take pictures. Recommended.
Great disc golf and running trails
Ran here in race, 2 times. Best. Park. Ever.
Great place to relax. Something for everyone
Summer concerts ; today is klasik rock)
Nice place for summer activities!!
Clean, serene environment. Great to take the kids, picnics, writing or just need quite time with nature or reflect
A great park. There is a fee to visit. It's larger for out of state residents.
I love the free summer concerts! The playground and sandbox are great. And there is usually a quiet place to meditate. Also a nice even track for jogging, as well as hiking paths.
Really enjoyed this place for barbecuing and picnic with family and friends
This park provided the type of scenery I hoped for when taking pictures. I will definitely revisit. It's maintained very well.
There is a fee to enter this park between March and November. It's $4 in state and $8 out of state. It's mainly a 1 mile track around a pond with many other side trails that are mostly paved. There are tons of pavilions and picnic tables as well as 4 playgrounds. Only 1 of the playgrounds looks kept up but there are many swings at the other ones. This park is good for large mouth bass fishing, biking, walking, frisbee golf and picnics.
We love coming here for the free (included with park admission) summer concerts on Weds and Sun evenings during the warm months. The pond is great for fishing and the main trail/track is perfect for a walk, jog, or bike ride. One of the many state parks we visit with our annual pass!
Disc golf course is great! The course use to be pretty open with not much variety- more for beginners. Still good for beginners but back nine has changed completely and now has more challenging wooded holes
Love it here so do the kiddos
We love Bellevue. We walk the trails, play at the playgrounds, barbecue, just about everything. There are bathrooms that are usually clean. It's a great park.
Quiet, natural park. Great place to walk, picnic or go fishing.
Great Concert in the park
Great trails for walking and jogging. Also great places to have barbeques.
Great event well established Hope to do it again next year.
Nice park, cool fitness trail
Great park with disc golf, walking paths (paved and unpaved), fishing, bbq pavilions, and play grounds.
I go thru here every day to work. Love seeing wild life
Beautiful large park plenty to enjoy
This is one of Delaware's most amazing sites! With something for everyone from a playground to a fishing pond, there's never a lack of adventure!
Lovely place for a stroll or a short run. Great for kids
Nice picnic areas , beautiful park, with clean paths, lots of turtles, geese and horses
Nice disc golf course, nice trails, some workout stops along the trails (parallel bars, pull up bars, and the like), a couple playgrounds, and a pond. There’s a big loop trail that’s flat, wide, gravel and some smaller offshoots and trails that are narrow dirt.
Tranquil Surroundings Great Activities For All Ages
Awesome exercise track and work out stations. Also plenty of activities for kids of all ages.
Actually any day in the park. Great grounds to walk. Mile+ oval track perfect for walking, running or biking. Bike trail leads you to Rockford and beyond. Fish in the pond, barbecue at the picnic facilities, attend a summer concert, ride horses, take in nature series throughout year, tour the mansion.
Local to me, great for a walk, for kids, bbq, picnic. They have fishing including bass but it's over fished so they are skittish and size is lacking. But if you want a place to take young kids and pretty guarantee they will catch something there are plenty of pan fish who will bite almost anything. Over all a nice place to get out and get some fresh air.
Delightful! Knowledgeable about horses, types of riders and equipment. Pleasant place for trail ride. Good place for lessons.
Gorgeous park Plenty of lean well maintained trails.
Great picnic area ❤
Old horse track oval is great for walking or biking. Plenty of deer to watch as well!
An urban park, a former Dupont estate. Admission fee. Horses running paths tennis fishing pond picnic areas.
Nice clay tennis courts
Beautiful park with many great activities.
One of the best places to walk and relax.
Solid park with a big walking/jogging parcourse loop and a nice newly updated disc golf course. Also has a stage for summer performances and a barn with riding lessons and a few playgrounds surrounding a pond.
Beautiful scenery!
Nice local park.
Love this cute park off 95 before you get to Wilmington! Packed a lunch and had a great time with someone
It's an average park near a corporate complex. Nice for walking or running but not much else. The thing that makes this park interesting is its deep history
Very nice place to visit. Enjoyed the concert in the park.
Bellevue State Park is a lovely sprawling property that offers something for everyone. There's a track for running and walking, a pond with geese and ducks, historic buildings, and horses. It is a very pleasant place for a stroll or to spend the day.
It's a great place to run, ride, walk and also to rake the kids.
A great place to visit.
Clean and safe place for relaxing walk or hiking.
A wonderful park, but don't like that the picnic area is close to the horses. Very smelly
Love this park! So clean and beautiful! Love all the concerts they have as well
Bellevue has many appealing features. A large cinder track provides a place for folks to walk, run or bike. The track is quite wide, allowing plenty of space for all. There are fitness stations around the 1.125 mile track that provide additional challenges if you want to step up your game. The park also has some light trails and well maintained playground equipment for younger visitors. There are also horse stables, and the historic Bellevue Manor, a beautiful house which can be rented for special occasions. There is also an outdoor concert area, which hosts free concerts on Wednesdays and weekends during the warmer months. Fees are in effect from March through November, check the website for more details.
Love the park! kid friendly, they do lots of events throughout the year, their is a pond for fishing, a large track for hiking or biking, bike trails, dog waste stations, the people are very friendly and almost always willing to lend a hand, I've been going to the park since I was really young, and loved it ever since
Awesome park. Bike trails. Live music in summer. Beer garden when music. Lake. Horses. Costs a lot for out of state but worth it for bike ride or long walk. Grounds are awesome w fields and historic buildings.
This lovely state park has a lot to offer. Rather than just lovely paths in the woods (which it does have), there are several bonus activity areas that offer much to families or groups of friends. They have horseback riding, a running track, a frisbee golf course, and what appears to be a public garden space. The day I went, the park was hosting a cute little "flea market". You can also buy sustainably harvested firewood which helps fund the park.
Great park... and good free concert!
I encourage most folks to get a State parks pass to enjoy the little pleasures that Bellevue and the other local parks have. Highly recommend reserving pavilions for special events. We had a bbq in2017 and it was a huge success. The park staff checked in to make sure all was well, which was kind. I’ve enjoyed the walking trails and events that Bellevue have as well.
Sweet little park with fishing ponds, paved and unpaved trails (through woods as well as open fields), disc golf course, lots of benches and picnic areas, a few pavilions, and wildlife including deer. There's a 1-1/8 mile "track" in the center that has a fitness stations along the way. There are volleyball courts and playground equipment, and the trails are used by equestrians, walkers, joggers, and bicyclists alike. (Some are restricted for their use, so it's not the free-for-all I may have made that sound like!). Truly, there's something for everyone in this peaceful gem of a park.
This park is beautiful!!! They have hayrides in the fall. My daughter went to an amazing birthday party there 2 years in a row and had a blast!!! Definitely recommend this park!!!!
A friend and went for a walk here. We loved the quiet nature environment. There is a playground for kids plus snack machines too. Nice place to walk and talk.
Nice quiet place to rent a pavilion, convenient to 95.
Great place to fish Plenty.of Sunnies and bass
I loved the fall .The pond was amazing. I enjoyed a lot.
The park is huge with multiple things to do. There are swings, a pretty big playground, a track for running or walking, you can fish, work out at the work out stations, go see the horses, take a walk and tour the grounds, see the mansion. Great place for a sunny day whether you're alone or with the family.
Very peaceful place
Great place to mountain bike or hike, portapots at parking areas, many miles of trails. There is a small fee for most of the year. Think it's $3 per day, but not sure as I buy a pass. Watch out for the panther if you believe reported sightings over the years
The wife and I go there in the warmer weather to chill out and relax while we fish a little bit.
Bellevue is a beautiful park. At night you can see the lightening bugs light up the trees. They have horse stables where you can see the horses. We hope to come during the day to walk around.
It's my first time to been there.Nice environment to hang out with family. My son was playing all the time and my daughter loved the swing. She was almost 3hours on the swing and saying wanna go again.Lots of different types of playing area for kids.I wish i had the fishing license,i could fishing in the pond.Clean restrooms are another plus point.Love the place....Next time will go with more preparation.......... Thanks Management....
Great night, fun band, nice crowd, beautiful weather
We went for the concert in the park and it was a very nice event!
Beautiful outdoor destination. Wide even walking path with exercise stations. Great for walking, jogging, or riding bikes without feeling crowded. Three cute playgrounds my kids enjoy. Catch and release fishing.
Summer concert series was great.
Scenic and peaceful walking/jogging trails
Nice kids playgrounds, lake with fish and turtles, horse stables, also good walking tails with plenty shades.
Beautiful! Fun for the whole family.
Beautiful scenery! Great paved trails. Absolutely stunning!!
Nice and clean park. Plenty of beach access away from the noisy kids that are confined to the smaller swim area. Restrooms have bathrooms, stalls to change in, as well as showers to rinse off.
Like so many places in Delaware the land was donated by a deceased DuPont. There is a very nice jogging biking oval just about a mile long with exercise stations We use the stables for therapeutic riding. There is a nice open air theater for summer concerts. There is a pretty pone area in the middle and plenty of pretty places equipped with BBQ pits and benches.
I’ve had a vegetable garden at Bellevue for 32 years. It’s a beautiful park with great walking trails and a track. Great place for a picnic or family gathering. Fun for the kids to fish in the pond or play in the playground or just sit and watch the horses graze.
Love this park! Lots of walking paths, horses and ducks to look at + various playgrounds
Good for short, medium or longer walks / jogs. Very convenient to all of the North Wilmington office parks - wick lunchtime walk. Has an office that I picked up my 2019 Surf Tag
Great walking and cycling track.
Today was my first time visiting Bellevue State Park for a Hay Ride and bonfire with the kids. Besides the cold wind it was an enjoyable time and looks to be a nice place to bring the family for picnics, walks, or runs. Fun times.
When you are in need of a getaway snd desire to walk it out or out run the though process. Tranquility is not far away.
Held an impromptu BBQ here when meeting up with a friend. Kids had a great time on the playgrounds and they had no problem running around the open areas around the lake.
I took my grandson Fishing for the first time. We had a blast meeting new people and seeing turtles! We didn't catch any fish but witnessed people who did
Very good for Disc golfing, lots of open land for you and family/friends to have fun at
Nice place for relaxing, fishing or walking.
nice place for a get together
A great Delaware State Park. Worked as a seasonal for 14 years. Love it!
I ran a leukemia 5K and departed looked really nice
Not a bad little park.
We were here to see a concert, what a fantastic setting to see a band. They were easy to hear, they had food trucks and even a beer stand where the profits from the beer help fund further events at the park. I would highly recommend making it to any future events.
Trail was clean and the scenery was picturesque.
Evening concert with food trucks and local beer
It was great! Walking trails were nice and super clean!
Lots of land enjoyable
First time around the track...wasn't bad at all. So I'm glad to be on this new weight loss healthy journey with My daughter Rachelle and my sister's TyEast and Evonne. Thanks my Blovelies
Bellvue park is beautiful. There is a pond with bass for fishing. There are also horse and you can watch them do hurdles. Tons of different walking paths. There are a few parks to play as well.
Had a great time at lantern festival
Very nice park.
My review is for fishing and pricing, which is where this place is horrid. I was charged $8 after already paying $8 to fish on the Brandywine River which I had my receipt for. I was told Bellevue is not part of the same state park system. How does that work? A Delaware State Park is not the same as other Delaware State Parks? Moving on... Who is in charge of your fishery? I watched a man live line bluegill to catch a bass. When I saw it, I was amazed at how sick it looked. The bass was 23 inches. It should weigh anywhere from 7.4 to 8.4 pounds. It only weighed 3.22 pounds. That's nearly impossible. I checked it on his scale and my scale. They obviously don't feed the fish and unless you went back creek and caught 1 pounders (at most) it was a waste of $8. Horrible.
Me my girlfriend and the kids had a great time everybody was really nice and family-oriented very nice place to go
another in a long list of great state parks. this one's got an incredibly fun disc golf course and a lake that freezes over for skating. walkers get a huge cinder track and there's even horses for the equine set.
Great place for a day out with family or even just by yourself to relax
