REVIEWS OF Grand Canyon Skywalk IN Arizona

Cheryl Apple

We visited the Gran Canyon West and loved every minute! Totally worth the 2hr and 15min drive. The views are breathtaking

Dave Lutgens

It was cool I only wish you could take a camera out on it. It's not aloud.

Thea Valdez

It was fun with a stunning view, and there were photographers there that would take great photos of you and your group, which would make a great souvenir. It was quite thrilling and everything was enjoyable overall. Although I wouldn't give it five stars because of the price it took to get inside, $25, which was pretty steep for what it was, but it really just depends on what your definition of cheap is. There would be countless more views and photo ops even if you didn't go on the skywalk.

Jeanette Burton

Great place to visit. We did not do the Skywalk but just being there was awesome.

Steve Hambright

We we're by this but was expensive to go on, out of my budget. Looked nice but you could see the same view for free. If you want to spend the money the novelty of it would be good with pictures but I could not justify it.

Edward Box

it was a fun experience . bbar ready to walk , it's worth the price. get the meal package , eat at the ranch. thanks to Sal Luna & Ryan ( photographer) for making it a great experience!!!

Tiago Porto Pereira

It's an amazing experience, if you have fear of heights it's not for you. Unfortunately the ticket to get there is so expensive, 80usd and it's not possible take pictures there, it's necessary pay to a professional photographer.

Giovanni Doglioli

Very impressive. Its quite a feeling to walk over the canyon on a glass bridge. Had our pics taken there and always brings back nice memories

Cassity Bratcher

Cost too much then they make you lock all your stuff up so they can charge you for pictures. After paying 1300 dollars for my family of four for the day here, should be able to take all the pictures I want for free

Philip McCracken

Great view. Great engineering. Not worth the extra cost.

J Mau

Took a long while for me to calm my brain and eyes down when walking on top of the glass. Exciting!

leena biswas

Lovely place.skywalk was a wonderful experience one should experience atleast once in life time

Wyatt Kittilstved

To see anything at all you need to pay to get into the park. It’s on the reservation so any National park pass won’t cut it. Do your research a head of time. It’s a bus ride and hike plus the 60 dollars to get to the skywalk. No cameras allowed when getting out on the skywalk and you will be paying for someone to take your photo. Definitely enjoyed the south rim more.

Nuno Rosario

An engineering marvel and a breathtaking view!!! Needs a bit more interaction to get the 5-Stars. My tour guide (Mo, from Gray Line LV) was really good and took us around and explained a lot of things. Being an architect the Skywalk is a construction I have followed for some time and it was really great to be there!

shon davis

Breathtaking views of Grand canyon. It was one of the great experiences.

Ray Restel

You have to pay extra for this and if you elect to have your photo taken on the skywalk then its extra to buy the photos. Exhilarating experience. 4,000 feet high and looking down through a glass floor is a little unnerving. You find yourself treading very lightly, the glass panels creak! It's totally safe of course. Well worth it.

Beth Frank

This was our first stop on our way to the south rim from Las Vegas. The weather cooperated. Not too hot. Views were stunning. Photographers were a lot of fun. Get your pictures taken. Don’t need to buy if you do t want to. We needed a handicap parking spot. None available. A security guy came out and found a place very close for us. My sister is handicapped. The buses were very handicapped accessible. The bus drivers were awesome. Food was at each spot. We ate at the last spot. Good barbecue. No lines. Overall. Great experience. Can’t say enough about the security staff and how well they treated my sister and us.

Supriyo Mohapatra

Nice place but too expensive. No public direct access. It was around $80 per person with glass bridge access. The package includes Bus drive, which takes to 3 look outs. But with the glass bridge package also, you are not allowed to take mobiles or cameras. Need to buy photos separately.

ALLISON ADAIR

AMAZING VIEW but bring a diaper if you don’t like heights cause I thought I was going to poop my pants this Florida girl isn’t used to heights like this. The landscape is like no other with the grand colors river trip next time

Javan M

WORST tourist trap I have ever been to. I have travelled the entire world and this was a major let down. They over charge for a 3 minute bus ride to an enclosed fenced area where you can barely see much of the canyon. (Bus ride as they do not allow you to drive your own car down) You cannot go for your own walk as it’s fenced off and has signs up for no tress passing. If you don’t pay with an arm and a leg for the sky walk, you can only see a part of the canyon from a viewing area of 40 or so meters. I have wanted to see the canyon since I was a young boy and have travelled from New Zealand. Very very disappointed and unhappy. Do NOT come here, spend the extra money on travel and make your way to the south Rim

Aswathy AnnaBaby

A good experience. But, not that fabulous as I expected. It actually doesnt give the feel of walking over such a grt deapth. Its not at all scary. Anybody can walk through.

Teri Geddes

The Skywalk itself is just OK. BUT, if you want to see great views of the Grand Canyon west, then you will be happy with stop #3! Amazing how close to the edge you can get.

Viorel Ardeleanu

Four stars only 'cause the site's photographers are far from professional and the system is made to grab the money from the tourists. One printed photo is 16.99 $!!!! Really?! I could take pictures thousands of times more better than them but cameras and mobile phones are not allowed... Otherwise everything is great.

Žilvinta Sušinskienė

Didn't go to sky walk but did basic tour around grand canyon. A bit disappointed about price, 55$per person, 3 stops by shuttle bus, and only the last stop was spectacular and free to walk around. Views lovely but it was so touristic..

Talena Baker

It is a cool idea and a beautiful scene to look at but it is very expensive, i believe it was $30 per person. You were not allowed any belongings so no photos. If you wanted a photo, you had to pay for it - $16 per photo. You can get the same view for free a few steps over.

von Teufel

very very dissapointed! $55 for a 10 min busride. no cars allowed. only bus. don't bother go there. if you go past skywalk stop, it kind of worth it. not the skywalk. avoid at all cost! waste of time and money!

EGxHam

Great experience, bit of a money grab, but what are your options? Still recommend it, just be prepared to open your wallet as I was warned, and you will enjoy it!

Shari

The natural wonder called the Grand Canyon hosts the Glass Sky-walk that is a 10-foot wide, horseshoe-shaped glass bridge that extends 70 feet out over the west rim of the Grand Canyon. There are Photographer's on the sky-walk to capture your memories for $69.00 per package. If you're afraid of heights or of falling, tread lightly. The glass flooring sends your mind senses crazy as your eyeballs hit the 4,000 ft depth. However, fear not, they assured me that the Skywalk is strong enough to hold seventy fully loaded 747 passenger jets. Yeah! That doesn't help lol! Just focus on the horizon. You can fly, fly and boat, or walk the Canyon for Approx. 400,00 for two people. It is a must see!!!

Sherrie Powell Russo

Pretty cool to be standing on the glass looking straight down! Too bad there's so many people, can't really enjoy just hanging out, even though they tell you there's no time limit. The grounds are beautiful, lovely with the flowers blooming. The rock formation of Eagle Point is amazing. Lots of interesting Native American history to see and learn about. The bus transportation between the three sights is pretty efficient. You could go back and forth between the places all day if you wanted to. We ate at Guano Point, not bad.

Mihai Dinu

A beautiful view, with some emotions when you step on the glass bridge. entry is not allowed with the phone. they'll take pictures of you, then 1photo = $ 17, all photos on stick $ 65. ... quite expensive if you think you have paid another $ 100 for Grand Canyon !! however, Guano Point offers a great view over Skywalk.

Ranjith Tirunagari

If it is your first time visiting a canyon, then you will like it. If you have been to Bryce or Zion National Parks, then you will feel a bit let down. Cameras are not allowed on the Skywalk. A bit too costly ($80) for the tour.

Jeffrey English

Fun adrenalin booster but more of a process to get to it than anticipated. Would recommend visiting south rim over this.

Jessica Hash

Its quite a feeling to walk over the canyon on a glass bridge. Had our pics taken there and always brings back nice memories

Gene Khiger

As you can see, we paid $147 for 2 tickets, On advance nobody told us, that we can't use our cell phones or cameras on Skywalk. We where upset, that we can't make video and photos for our memory. You can do only photos with professional photography and you have to pay extra. When we ask staff how we can get our money back, they refuse talk to us. Just waste of money and time,

Rose Ann Joy Banjan

Good location to visit and enjoy with family. A little pricey though since it's privately owned. The view points were awesome especially the Guano Point. The only bummer was the Skywalk since you can't bring your own camera. All in all it's a good place.

Jeff Johnson

The entire Grand Canyon West was overall enjoyable. People were nice (except for below), transportation efficient. In the end the $86 dollar ticket was worth it. Worst part was the Sky Walk. Pictures you have to pay for are the focus and since we didn't want them the photographers were pushy and rude, literally pushing us out of the way. One physically touching me because I wasn't moving my 79 year old mother in law out of his shot. To the credit of the Grand Canyon Skywalk they contacted me shortly after the one issue and made great effort to make things right. Very apologetic, concerned and interested in the goings on so as too do better in the future. I would not knock a great restaurant for a mistake that they acknowledged and corrected, and Grand Canyon Skywalk deserves the same credit. With the personal touch they gave they're right up to 5 stars with me.

Nikola Cikac

Ridiculously expensive. You have to pay 88$ for 5 minute bus ride. They don't allow you walking by foot this 2km route. And - as a cherry on the top - they charge you additional 70$ if you want to take a pictures with your mobile phone or camera. There is no rational explanation for this obvious ripoff. I didn't pay. There are many nicer places outside of USA.

SimonJ SimonJ

Please don't go here! It's very expensive and not very good. The staff are fabulously rude, you can't take photos even with your phone (!) There are much more spectacular views from the Grand Canyon Village area closer to Flagstaff. If you're booking a tour, make sure it ISN'T taking you to the Skywalk!

Chris Colman

The Grand Canyon Skywalk is a fun little walk to do. I know that there are people who are afraid to go on the glass walk, but you should not be scared at all. The view is spectacular. You will definitely appreciate the natural beauty and the majestic mountains from all view points. I highly recommend visiting if you have never been here ever. It’s really worth it.

Mohamed Isa

I love adventures and I could resist but to step foot on the Grand Canyon SkyWalk. The views were dazzling regardless of where you look. And to really admire this great attraction, I invite you to watch a documentary how it was built. You’ll be fascinated by the engineering & structural feat! A few notes, they will not allow you to take anything on you as to avoid dropping items on the glass and there will be a professional photographer to take your pictures.

Oki Sil-Eighty

Go on a week day and early in the morning if you can. Awesome visit. Staff was pleasant and views were awesome. A little expensive but its once in a lifetime... Get your tickets online and go for it.

World Facts

This was a nice place. I went to the west rim and north rim. best decision to see both of the rims. This one is not that popular since people go the other one more likely. There is a fake hype that sky walk is not good compare to the north rim. let me tell you these both rims are almost the same and in west you can actually enjoy the sky walk which is worth the price and there is a bus service that will take you from stop A to B and there are 4 stops and all shows the Native culture and Grand Canyon memories.

Steff A.

The Skywalk is an experience to do once if you're out in the Grand Canyon West rim area. You're not allowed to bring cell phones, cameras, bags, etc on the Skywalk so you're securing all personal items in the free lockers provided. You're only options for photos is to purchase them from their photographers on the Skywalk. "David" was our photographer and he was great. He took some quality pictures and it was easy to download from their website via the code they give you. We bought the unlimited photo package as it made more sense vs $16 a photo. All the staff we came across in the Skywalk sections were very friendly. The whole experience is pretty well organized. The views are amazing and the transparent floors really kicked in some anxiety. lol This is one of those experiences you get through at least once. We'll pay the premium because the memories and pics are forever. Good Luck!

Daryl Langford

Took a trip out west and the Skywalk was a bucket list. We went to the Skywalk May 26, 2019. I require oxygen due to a rare lung cancer that I now have. The entire staff was so accommodating. I was in a transport chair. So to all handicap people or people in my condition that has wheel chairs and on oxygen they are great! The shuttle buses have ramps to bring you aboard. They took us through special entrances and brought us ahead. This was a concern because of oxygen needs and running out. The handicap parking spaces were filled, but they made accommodations for convenient up front parking. Please please thank the staff and everyone for being so considerate. Back to the Skywalk. Loved it. Great views and enjoyed a shuttle bus discussion of the canyon and history on the way back to the vehicle.

Buenobebe

My family and I went a few weeks ago. This was my dream vacation. We went on the Skywalk and no, you can not take your phone or camera. And I get why, but that really needs to be on your website, not nice of you to not disclose that. But I did research beforehand and saw you tube videos about this. So I was aware of it. It is also better to buy your tickets before you go, so much better. But other than that, it was an amazing & unforgettable experience. Everyone should go at least once! And buy your gifts at the tent as it's really reasonably priced items.

beth flowers

Drive for 2+ hour's on graded dirt roads and when you get here, you are still nowhere. But the tribe has developed a nice attraction to reel in some tourist dollars.

Breathtaking views of the canyon and easy trip from Vegas on Gray Line.... We got meal tickets and wanted to grab a lunch from Skywalk Cafe.. However the staff were misinformed and not friendly. I asked what were their vegan options and they said Spicy Bean burger was. I double checked and apparently there's egg in the patty. So, I pointed out that it won't be suitable for vegan if there's an egg (or any other animal derived ingredient). The lady rudely told me "just tell me what you want and no need to be rude"... Seriously? I told I wanted a vegan option and they misled me to get a patty made with an egg. And when I inform them I'm rude?? How about being well informed about what's in your menu and not confusing people? What if someone has egg allergy and they get that burger? Will the lady at the counter be responsible??? Taking 2 stars off from my review because of it.

Erin Brecka

The Grand Canyon is gorgeous, but they refused to even give me pricing until after I had waited in line for over an hour. No cell signal, so I couldn't look it up on my own. Nearly $200 for my daughter and I to walk on a bridge?!? I can't even take my own pictures?!? No, thank you. All this place did for me is waste time on my vacation that we could have spent elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and skip this one. You can find gorgeous views of the canyon for nearly free elsewhere. *Additional Comments* In every reply they mention they're trying to improve onsite communication so people are aware of prices. I call bs. Prices are not posted anywhere nor are the prices listed on the pamphlet they give out to people waiting in line. It doesn't take much to print a poster and hang it on a wall. If they were actually trying to improve communication, there'd be something posted. Because nothing was posted, I talked to the lady at the gift shop and asked how much it costs. She told me she's not given this information. I also talked to a worker outside the tent. He handed me the pamphlet and then gave me the same story. At this point, I should have realized what was going on and we should have left. To be given the prices, you need to talk to the people at the counter. The counter is strategically placed inside a tent and around a corner so you don't realize how long the line is. After waiting in this line, you feel like handing them whatever they're charging because otherwise you've just wasted a ton of time waiting in line. Yes, I'm bitter about the time my daughter and I wasted here. It is partially my fault as I didn't do a ton of research before showing up, but at the same time I expect honesty from establishments I visit. That is not what was given here.

Erin Krajenke

Unless you are one of those people who take cheesy pictures by gorgeous natural wonders, skip the SkyWalk. We really wanted to do it and forked over the $40 per person for the four of us and it was underwhelming to say the least. You can only get professional pictures while on the SkyWalk (at an extra cost of course) but that is with them having you pose ridiculously and not really getting to even enjoy the beauty of the canyon. If you book a tour, you can always add this on once you get there if you decide to. Their might be a line. But you might get there, see it, and realize you don't mind skipping it.

Luz Sotelo

Absolutely stunning views from the South Rim and North Rim. We did end up going to Rocky point but we didn't do the tour the prices for the skywalk are ridiculous and you can't even take your own camera they sell you the pictures too, such a shame.

Valerie R.

It's amazing. Funny and friendly staff. Photographers to help you take amazing photos while standing on an extended glass walkway into the Grand Canyon West. It's fun, scary and a breathtaking experience.

Catalin Baicu

The views are amazing ... however the organization around the place has long way to go on customer service. The people who take pics are hit and miss on many fronts. It is a long wait if you decide to take pics.

Owen O'Neill

Loved this. A must do when visiting even if you have a bit of a fear for heights as you still feel extremely comfortable when walking on it.

Andrew Cauldwell

Very Frustrating experience. First, the staff were not friendly AT ALL and were just disgruntled the whole time. We are paying YOU, so the very least you can do is make an effort to be friendly! Second, you CANNOT take pictures!!! :( They do not allow taking pictures of a national monument and God's creation. They instead want to charge $40 PER TWO pictures from their "professional" photographers. They actually have a metal detector and a staff member wanding people to enforce this rule. Third, DO NOT buy anything from the gift shop. Everything is way overpriced. One example, A bracelet made from 8 US pennies, and nothing more, was $15. I do not know how that makes sense to anyone. So if you want to see the Grand Canyon and actually take some pictures, go to any of the other sides of it.

Tyagraj Keer

Grand Canyon is one of the most visited national parks in United States. Around 6 million people visit Grand Canyon every year. Specifically talking about time, 'Grand Canyon' was carved over some 6 million years, now that's huge.

Maisee Ray

If you are afraid of heights prepare to be scared. Although beautiful, its see through glass at the bottom of your feet so each step I took I held on to the sides. I couldn't walk in the middle for fear of falling even though I trusted that I wouldn't fall. You're not allowed to bring cameras or take pictures but they do have a photographer out there to capture the moment. You can purchase the pictures later when you go back inside. There's also a little store to buy souvenirs and restaurants and Indian reservations you can visit near by.

Raj

Good place to visit and experience once. It would be good if place is customer friendly at skywalk. May be due to crowd or some biased attention, I have not send good service here...I know we are not allowed to take our cameras but person who we got did not do good photo and was not friendly. After a much long drive we expected to have good experience. Nature wise it's a really good spot, but experience wise I think it could have been better. Again it depends if place is crowded or not or you get good photographer to take your photo.

Nette Rab

Enjoyed the experience. Beautiful view and scary at the same time. There is a charge to walk on the skywalk.

Farrukh Tadjiev

so bad service. big line for photo print. and to expensive just for view for canyon. better to rent a car and drive to another place

simone heath

Wow! What an amazing experience! I'm terrified of heights but knew I couldn't miss the opportunity to do this walk. It's a reasonable price, all tourist stuff costs, but for the views, it is worth it! The views over the canyon are breathtaking. You can get your photos taken by their official photographer, for a price. Once in a lifetime opportunity, don't miss out!

Karthik Rajasekaran

The price for the Skywalk is an overkill and totally not worth it. It's crass commercialism. Only 2 Stars. On the other hand West Rim is beautiful. To get maximum experience, skip the Skywalk and move on to the next stop Guano. You will not regret it! Awesome views and places to climb and photograph. 5 stars for Guano.

Jo Barris

Such a beautiful place. Worth the ride from Vegas, we bought the basic tour was about $80 including skywalk, wish they had a tour not including the skywalk the best views are from the last stop which is Guano Point.

Mark Schubert

It was ok, can't take yr camera, or anything else basically. But quite amazing views.

frederica smith

The bus tour was smooth, very informative and fun. Beautiful views just on the bus. Skywalk is for sure scary but very very worth the walk. I definitely recommend taking the photos you have to pay for, you aren't allowed any phones on the skywalk. Last bus stop has a cafe and restaurant in case anyone gets hungry after the tour. Beautiful experience and I recommend it to all.

Nichola Todd

Don't bother. Hideous waste of money. You even get stripped of all personal possessions before stepping out to make sure you can't take any photos and have to spend the ridiculous amount they're charging for their "professional" ones, which barely even show the scenery, just silly "comical" poses. Queues, queues and more queues. Completely spoilt an otherwise magical day at the Canyon. Please do not waste your time and money here.

Goose Ventura

Our family had a great time here at the Skywalk. If you do some research and come already knowing the pricing and what all is here then there won't be any negative surprises. I knew what to expect and our family was treated very nicely by each of the staff that was there this past Thursday. They were all so friendly! I do think a lot of it depends on the time you go. If you go when it is super busy then your chances of a less then ideal interaction will increase. We arrived around 4:30 PM and on our way in we saw all the tour buses leaving. There were barely any people there and it was easy to navigate around without hundreds of other people in our way. We stayed until the sunset at Guano Point (the second stop) and had such a beautiful views of the sunset on one side and the moon on the other. I would say the insiders tip would be to go later and stay for the sunset if possible!

George E

The grand canyon, a natural beauty, wonder of the world, and a sight absolutely worth seeing. At the skywalk however, you can't take your own photos and a digital copy of photos they take are upwards of $55! For the extra $35+ that allows you to go to the skywalk is not worth it at all, would absolutely recomend to skip the upgrade, as the sights you see on the regular tour, are segnificantly better and most importantly, you can take as many of your own pictures as you want.

Mallika Shankar

Enjoyed it so much so much please wait and don’t forget to take photos as these memories wl stay for a lifetime

Jean-Francois Vezina

Great views, but way overpriced and feels like a rip off. You drive 2.5 hours from Vegas, no prices are advertised, and when you get there, it is $80 per person... they block the road so you have to take their shuttle to take you to a “ranch” no one in the shuttle wanted to see, then to the skywalk (no cameras allowed, but want to sell you pictures) and then to another stop. Great views, and would have been a good experience if they eliminated the shuttles and charged half the price.

L P

It doesn't seem real. One of the most beautiful places I will probably see. Went with a Pink Jeep Tour and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Must see attraction.

Avi Sen

DO NOT GO!!! It’s extremely overpriced. The walk is really short for about $90. And they won’t let you take any pictures. If you want pictures you got stand on this long line and pay about $70 to get some decent pics. The food they served us at the ranch for $17 is worse that hospital/airline food. Don’t waste your time and money. Go to a National Park instead.

damousa1972

For what you paid to get your picture take, the digital image is of extremely poor quality. I paid $69.99 for my digital photos (12), because they do not let you take photos on the bridge, the digital copies are so poor, a printout of it is extremely grainy. It looked great when you view it there, but what they gave you is of extremely low resolution and I have an iPhone X. So disappointed. Buyers Beware.

jeffrey keener

Paid extra to go on skywalk. They would allow cameras, because they want to double dip on charging for pictures. Not worth the extra 35. Got plenty of pics and great views without being on the skywalk. And paying for them to take my pics

K.A. Smith

Absolutely love the view, but you cant take your camera or your cell phone with you on the skywalk. They have their own photographer to take pics of you. Of course you have to purchase them to receive the photo, so just be prepared. A little disappointed because of the price, simply because I couldn’t capture the view I paid for. But the Canyon is amazing to see regardless. And to clarify the setup is great too, they take you around to several spots to give you different angles of the Canyon. But the 3 stars was simply for the price of the Skywalk and not being able to take freely advantage of what I paid for. *edited

ciaran oneill

What a great attraction, we didnt wait too long to que and the guy took some super photos for our group, overall a fantastic experience.10/10

Anthony Nolan

Excellent place to view canyon if a bit pricey - the 2 view points give a good view of canyon & only 2 1/2 hours out of vegas

TAJINDER BAGRI

Skywalk was nice but wish I could use my own phone while on the skywalk

Based Latino

Where to begin? Do you like commercialization of natural landscapes, do you like paying 70 sheckles per ticket? Do you like being looked at by natives with disdain while they peddle cheap trinkets. If your a Nationalist or have any sense of Americana stay away. Don't give these leeches any funds.

Pete Hender

A really great experience, really get a feel for the depth & size of the canyon, but you can't take anything on with you so if you want a photo you'll need to buy one from the professional photographers.........

Kate Merrick-Smith

Overall it’s worth the trip, however we tried to buy our tickets online the day before and their website was down every time we checked. Once we drove there, we found they charged over $20 more per ticket than the website. They would not honor the web pricing even though it had been down costing our family over $100 more. The facilities are nice enough but forcing everyone on buses that needlessly hold you hostage for an extra 1/2 hour while you drop people off at sites your not going to made sufficient time feel rushed. They also do have food, which I think their website could display but lacks a lot of information for visitors. Prepare to pay a lot of money for everything, including your photo on the skywalk as no phones or cameras allowed.

Jim Wormley

Really cool concept. However not being able to bring your own camera or use your phone was a bummer. Cost should be less if that is the case. The view makes the rating a 3. The rest was less than satisfactory.

shailaja/ lia

If you don't have time & still want to get a glimpse of grand canyon then it's worth doing once. It can be pricey for a large group because it's around $70 per person. It's just couple of hours drive from Vegas. If you have been to the other rims before then probably you may get disappointed considering the ticket price & the overall experience but I still enjoyed it. Eagle point view & skywalk are at the same place. You cannot take your camera in the skywalk but outside you are free to use. You have to pay and it's $16 to choose one copy from the 5-6 different pictures taken. There are couple of gift shops & we'll maintained restrooms.

Fabio G S

A nice day trip from Las Vegas. Nice views from Grand Canyon. The Skywalk is amazing and you really can see the Canyon from the top. The tour are made of three stops and besides only the first has the Skywalk all the others are amazing as well. Tickets are a bit pricey and the food is just average.

Dhiraj L

Worth the visit and admission fee. Not cheap but provides an exclusive experience you are unable to do anywhere else. I think if you are going to the grand canyon as a once in a lifetime trip, it is worth it. They do rush you a bit when you are on the skywalk and you are not allowed to take your own pictures, but I understand why.

Ray Z

RIP off, RIP off and once again rip off. I paid $60 per person and my friend and his girlfriend paid $80 including the skywalk. It's way too much for what they offer. They charge us $4 for a small bottel of water, For $60 per person at least they should give everyone a bottle of water. You have to park your car and bus takes you to 3 different stops. My friend was really disappointed with sky walk, it's the same view and they don't let you take pic with your camera or cellphone, they will take your pic and charge you arm and leg for it. View was so so not as good as the grand canyon national park. The Ranch closes at 6, they didn't even tell us that by them we got there it was closed. Do not go here, take a longer drive and go to national park.

deep gosalia

Beautiful and adventurous point to be! Skywalk is the highlight of grand canyon. Although if possible go for the helicopter ride if you have company of more than 5 as they both cost similar! Only problem with Skywalk is the ticket cost is way too high as for what it offers, also no camera or cell phones inside and they cost you 16 dollars for photos there alone! View is spectacular and is very much well maintained. In short for a tourist, Its a good place to be.

Katie Fraser

WOW! I could not believe how cool this experience was. An all glass bridge circling over the Grand Canyon, there's nothing else like this in the world. I wish I could have brought my phone out but it was very cool to experience without feeling compelled to take pictures.

William Khalil

Monday 23 September 2019. Arrived at Eagle Point. Walked straight to the skywalk. Phones not allowed. You will have a locker to place your belongings. The walk was awesome. What a feeling. You are given a shoes protection to wear. The walk with photos by their photographer took 20 minutes. After, walked around the area and left.

Dori Scanlon

Very expensive! $80+ per person. Had to wait in a long line because they are trying to take pictures of each person/group to sell for $60. You could not bring your camera or phone to take your own pictures. Too bad such a wonderful natural beauty costs so much to see.

Liisa Siitonen

Nature has made this piece of art! Pictures can not catch the beauty of this place - you have to go and see it yourself!

An Oyuela

Amazing way to experience the Grand Canyon. Unfortunately all the tourists are a detriment, only because so many of them do not follow posted instructions or those of the staff. It gets a bit crowded and the prices are still too high in my opinion, but the views are beautiful.

Prajakti Awade

The skywalk in itself is good, however we are not supposed to carry cell phones, cameras or videocameras. This takes the fun out of the otherwise breathtaking view. Eagles point is a much better place to enjoy the Grand Canyon.

Sravan Kumar Nuthalapati

If you have less time and staying in Vegas, Grand Canyon West is one of the best places to visit. This location is not under NPS, it’s under local tribes. This area is not free and NPS passes don’t valid here. We have to purchase different packages based on our interests. General entry fee around $50, if you wanna do Helicopter ride and Rafting it costs around $300 but It worths. Eagle point is best view point. Enjoy Joshua trees besides the road. Carry water while visiting in summer. Eagle point is best view point.

Alex Berghefer

Huge disappointment. We added the skywalk to our trip in hopes of getting some great family photos. Not only do you have to pay to get in the facility but you are not allowed to take any cameras on the skywalk. You have the option to get a camera person follow you and take pictures of you which then cost $25 and up for pictures. It was a big disappointment to not be able to grab a family photo after spending all the time and money to get to the site to not be able to take home a memory. I have this 2 stars as the site is nice and well maintained, but that is it.

Ben prall

They charge too much to walk on the skywalk you are not allowed to take any thing on to the skywalk phones Camaras even a purse the view isn't that great you can Barely see the river. They have people who take pictures of you acting weird and then want you to pay 16$ for 1 picture. guano point view is 10x better

Laz Liston

Stunningly beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice. Must experience for yourself!

Greg Calcutt

I thought the price was too high for the experience, you cannot take a cell phone or camera or anything with you on the Skywalk you have to go through a metal detector and the views from the Skywalk are no better than standing on the edge before you get to Skywalk. They want you to have your pictures taken by them and then purchased from them. It's about 35 miles from Highway 93 to The Visitor Center then you must get on a shuttle and ride another 5 to 10 minutes to the canyon it's a total rip-off.

Alex Kogan

This skywalk will give you a different perspective of the grand canyon. If you are in the area I highly recommend this, even my wife who is terrified of heights went holding on to me for dear life. Cool experience overall.

Karolina Noronha

Your first experience is the Skywalk and you quickly learn that you are not allowed to bring your own camera. If you want pictures you have to use their photographer and pay extra. This is super disappointing especially after the price tag you already paid. The little balcony and all areas close to the skywalk are fenced off so you really cant take any picture which potentially could resemble the view. For us it ruined the whole experience quite a bit since you feel ripped off. Guano point on the other hand is beautiful. We had a great item walking around and exploring it. If it haven't been for that I would have rated the whole experience with 0 points.

Ekhym Wethered

The Skywalk should definitely be on a Grand Canyon to-do list. Amazing views, the experience of standing over a drop of thousands of feet; these are once in a lifetime opportunities that should not be missed. Be prepared for the additional cost on top of any tour package ($27.13 after tax, per person). I highly recommend the photo package which includes a digital picture frame with the $65.10 after tax price. Also be aware that you must put everything in lockers, so no cameras or cell phones allowed on the Skywalk. Another consideration is time. It can take up to an hour to get on the Skywalk as only 120 people at a time are allowed on it.

Ace Temple

Rip-off! Don't bother going unless you wish to be disappointed. Go to the south rim instead or just pay for the regular experience. No cameras allowed (rip off prices if you want your pics taken), they virtually frisk you and wand you. Skywalk is not very high and way smaller than it looks. It does not even go over the canyon proper and and they also make you wear these ridiculous slippers that cover your shoes. The Grand Canyon is an amazing experience, you dont need the skywalk and it's bs rules and policies to enjoy it!!

Chris Butler

Very pricey (entry to park, a zip line, helicopter tour or food)! The view and area is surreal with the helicopter tours. I would like to see the food service elevate is menu, or adjust the price of the menu.

Cecil Hanes

Second time visiting but nevertheless a thrilling experience. I'm giving it 4 stars since I think the staff has some room for improvement in explaining what was closed on the tour because of a snow storm that went through the day before. We did get to walk out on the skybridge but there was one stop on the tour that I really wanted to see and had they explained that it was closed I may have perhaps rethought my decision to buy a ticket and come back another day. Staff needs to do a better job explaining this.

Erika Becker

Wonderful visit the the west rim. The Skywalk is super cool. Just beware, no cameras or cell phone allowed on skywalk

katty wompus

Huge disappointment and way over priced. It's not even over the Grand Canyon. It's on a small side branch. The view was nice, the glass floor is cool, but not worth the hours on the horrible road to get there. And back. The definition of a tourist trap. Once you finally get there, you are just a sheep ready to be fleeced on overpriced food and drinks, or in the massive overpriced gift shop. The photography ban is another grift to get the sheep to buy their photos. Spend your money somewhere else. I won't be back.

Caroline Hetfield

If you're in Vegas, and got a day to spare, you HAVE TO visit the Grand Canyon. This place is one of earth's seven wonders, and is worth every minute spent in a bus/car to get there (takes about 2,5 hours from Vegas).

alexw265

Good but disappointing. It goes out over canyon, but not the Grand Canyon. You can see into the Grand Canyon, but you’re over a side canyon. You can’t see 4000’ straight down, but only a few hundred feet before you see earth. The Skywalk is glass, and there is a lot of glare and reflection. A top or roof over the Skywalk would eliminate the glare and probably the reflection. The view from the Skywalk isn’t any different than from the cliff right next to it. It’s a long drive from Las Vegas, 2-1/2 hours even if you highball it, so it’s an all-day trip. Note: there’s a speed trap on the reservation. The speed limit goes down to 15MPH at one point, and there’s a tribal cop sitting right there with radar. (My Valentine warned me, but the guy after me got caught.) There are other things to do when you get there. Going for the Skywalk alone ultimately isn’t worth it, so see what they have and do as much as you can. We went on a Thursday mid-day in late September and spent no appreciable time waiting in lines.

Twizz Bharat

Absolutely amazing view of the canyon. Not giving 5 stars because it was a little bit of a rush inside. But amazing place to visit

Ryan Roeser

The place to see some amazing views of the canyon... And maybe spook yourself out a bit. Guided walk with your photographer after you place all your personal items in a locker and wear some booties onto the glass. A optional guide will take your photos of you and your group and you can buy a print or the images on a thumb drive later. While on the bridge look for rugs if you want to see a crack lift the rug. No worries tho the glass is super thick and could probably hold a tank.

Haunani Alvarez

What a fabulous way for my Husband and I to celebrate our (((34th Wedding Anniversary)))!!!

Preeti Paliwal

Fantastic. Nature at its best. Sky walk is must ,amazing experience.

Salai Noa

Loved it, I was a little bit nervous but once we got started it was fun. Lobg line if you want photos but wirth it.

dh716574

Average, not overly impressed, can't take your own camera or phone out with you and at midday the sun reflects up from the glass and you can't see down. A lot better places to see the Canyon.

Evelyn Strong

Breathtaking for sure. My 12 year old son walked around but would not look down. He was terrified but he did it and was glad he did. Definitely a must do.

Hiten L

Great place! Definitely worth a visit. Amazing views and it's an experience walking on the glass bottom floor. Remember you can't take your phones. There are photographers there who can capture your memories. The prices for the photos are reasonable. Remember to take a hat as it can get very hot out there. Try and go early to avoid the crowds.

Alka Philip

I don't think it is worth it. I should have just gone to south rim and not wasted the money. When you are travelling from Florida and so short on time, you might as well get the best out it. My mom and husband did not enjoy it a bit. Spend that extra day in Vegas city or in south rim and antelope canyon. They are much better and cheap.

Oluwafemi Akintilo

The sky walk at Grand Canyon west is a glass bridge that extends 70 feet out over the rim of the Grand Canyon. You can look down (if you dare) through the glass 4,000 feet to the floor. Unfortunately, you can’t take anything with you on the skywalk to document the view but they have professional photographers who capture the moments on your behalf and charge you $16 per copy. It’s a truly great experience

MATTY RICH

OVERPRICED! The whole walk on the glass bridge will take about 5-10 minutes. Its almost $30 per person. You cannot bring your phone or camera because they want you to buy the pictures that they take for another $50. This is a rip off! Just stay on the bus and go to the second stop. Food is better there and you can take all of the pictures you desire. Better views from the second location as well! My trip to the Grand Canyon West Rim was great I just wish I didnt waste so much money on the Skywalk! Just skip this attraction!!!

Whitney Steele

Breathtaking, I'll never forget..the hot chocolate was a welcome surprise at the visitor center

Jaime Hernandez

We went to the Grand Canyon West Skywalk looking to get some pictures of the Grand Canyon. The location is way out in the desert, on the reserve. You park and then go into a giant tent which sells the tickets, tour packages and souvenirs. The lines are long and the packages are expensive. We went for the basic tour for 60 and the sky walk for 28 for a total of 88 dollars. The first stop we went to Eagle point, took pictures of the canyon and then did the Skywalk. The second stop is Guano point and this is more views of the canyon and restaurants. We were ready to leave after this, but the bus loop doesnt stop at the main area but rather goes to a third stop which is a mock old village/ranch. Afterwards the bus then takes you to the main area where you can get back into your car. Lots of options to shop. But not good if you want to do a quick in and out from the Canyon

Ja Ya

We took $90 package deal which included skywalk, bus to all other view points and food. The entire experience did not feel worth the price. We had food at the skywalk point and it was very bad. Menu was very limited too. The second stop had more crowd at the food section so i am guessing food there was much better. Skywalk felt just ok for me.

Ashish Khadka

Breathe taking!!! Nature at it best. Also, there are some Indian tribal huts that are listed here if you wanna see. But you can't take your cellphone to Skywalke. They got someone to take pictures. Don't print the pictures there. Get digital copies of it on a flash drive and print it back home

Paul Bunyan

Brilliant, even if you have a fear of heights. The glass floor is amazing, but very strong! Well set up and great photo opportunities. Just stay away from the edges

Milly Rodz

Amazing views of the Grand Canyon! I personally have a fear of heights and my family urged me to do this and I no regrets whatsoever! Looking down through the glass floor while extended four thousand feet above the Grand Canyon was breathtaking....a must see if you have an opportunity to visit the Grand Canyon!

Carolina Meza

Stunning views of the canyon and river. I wish there was a person or more inscriptions providing information about the Hualapai people. There are many activities available for additional price. $60 for entrance and no activities. Skywalk is an additional fee. You cannot drive up to the areas because they are guarded. Arrive before 9am so you skip the long lines. There as much or as little walking as you would like. There are pet accommodations available for a fee. Service animals are free.

Mark Meredith

Incredible views but expensive $90/ person. No personal photography allowed on the skybridge either. Photos can be purchased for an additional $70. My family and I absolutely enjoyed the visit.

olaf scheffler

Ok, finally here is an absolute positive statement! I do not follow any critics about the practice hosting millions of people each year and care for their support. I accept that the rights on this breathtaking walk are kept by the Hualapai people and hide photos and phones in lockers, that's still fair. They drive a very big machine for the guests, it's impressing and such comfortable. The ticket includes shuttle to three hot spots with such great views and entertainment. The Skywalk of course, too. We included lunch for a small upgrade and just showed our ticket at the kitchen. It was a full day adventure, came by ourselves / car. Vegas provides several shuttle offers, HERE you gotta watch and compare!!! ;)

Jeremy Dougherty

It is neat but super expensive for what it is. We are talking like $80 a person to go walk on a bridge and look at the Grand Canyon. Just keep that in mind before you go.

K. Kleijn

Tourist trap! Don't fall for it! They make you pay 80 dollars a person for the skywalk and you can't even take any pictures. Of course they are willing to make a picture of you but that will cost you 17 dollar! Avoid.

Bobby Schafer

If I could redo this trip I certainly would. The skywalk is definitely a tourist trap. They constantly respond to negative comments on here saying that they wont allow phones cameras or personal objects on the skywalk because of tourists potentially dropping their items. Okay so if this is the only reason why do they jack up the prices for a picture? It's a money grab why else would they charge a ridiculous 16 dollars a photo? They only do this because they know that people will pay this absurd amount . Skip the first stop on the bus and go to the second location. It has much more impressive views.

Cin De

I visited in July 2019. It was more money than I expected because I had to pay one fee for the reservation, $60 I think, and another for the skywalk $28, I think. I was also disappointed that we couldn't bring our cell phones on the skywalk... That being said... It was all well worth it. I'm so glad I did them both. The views and information at each stop on the reservation was absolutely awesome! I went in the middle of the week and later in the day. I didn't feel over crowed at all.

brian buglio

The staff is by far the most rude people I have ever encountered. As a tourist attraction you are paying money to they should appreciate your business and not treat you like you are bothering them. Waste of money I should have listened to the previous reviews I read. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Noelia Vargas

OH MY GOD!!! Grand Canyon is the gorgeous place I has been in the United States in my whole life! The view, the history, the experience everything is like a movie. You must go if you have the opportunity. Say thanks later.

Kevin Sheu

It's a quite impressive place. It is unfortunate that camera and cell phones are strictly prohibited on the skywalk. They have people taking photos for you and sell you the photos later.

Jay Shetty

Was scary at first to walk in the glass... did few rounds back and forth later comfortably.. great view of the eagle point. We cannot carry our cameras/cellphones on the skywalk(deposit in a locker) they will take the pix and charge about $65 for 10/12 pix in usb.

chuck bussey

You feel like you are being gouged while there. Great views but it's not worth a second trip.

Richard Darrell

Very impressive. But new structure takes away from the natural beauty that 12 years ago was there.

Lena Wilson

I went on this when it first opened up and it was a fun experience. My sister left her belt on which set off the metal detector the funniest memory I have of the Grand Canyon had to be that moment.

Fadi Batarseh

One of the most incredible experiences of my life! God's canvas surrounding us on such a perfect day. Yes it's very hot, and yes bring extra water. A few things to know before going.... #1 it's not free, you need tickets and they're not cheap. #2 if you're planning on going, you can purchase tickets online much cheaper for the experience and skywalk #3 (and I didn't tell you this.....you can purchase the online tickets there and they'll accept them regardless of the date marked for usage. I purchased them for the next day and was able to use them the same day) #4 if you're able to, stop at all the scenic view rest stops and take photos #5 you're not able to take your own photos on the skywalk, they sort of make you use their photographers on site...costs $70 for about 20 photos on a card....(if you're good at haggling, take more photos, not less. You won't regret them)

Alan Pham

so much fun at the Grand canyon. good service and good prices. everyone had very good time.

Hope Grant

So cool everyone stayed on the edges lol amazing view on glass walkway

Ricky Patrick

Pretty place but these people are dishonest. Online advertised prices aren't even close. Expect to pay double unless you buy in advance, and I'm sure that wouldn't go smoothly either. The cashier girl started with "the price here is $10 more than online" so clearly they know what they're doing. When I politely said "$86 is not $10 more than your advertised $69" she rolled her eyes. I had a pile of merchandise I wanted to buy but I put it back. Not going to contribute to that kind of business practice.

Shakara Gunderson

Family had so much fun, the staff are very knowledgeable... answered my husband and son's question of whether it was safe to jump up and down with glass walkway pane related facts (ask them, the facts are pretty impressive) .... they said go for it. There wasn't a lot of people around towards the end of the day so they went a head and jumped, a lot.

Ron Cambridge

Smaller than expected. You are not allowed to take your own camera (or phone). Picture are available only through a paid photographer. It may be better to just take your own pictures at other points. The best thing about the skywalk is looking through the glass floor, to appreciate the depth of the Canyon.

raftingdon2

The Las Vegas of the Grand Canyon. I really dont count this as seeing the Grand Canyon. If you really want to see the Grand Canyon, drive the extra time to the South Rim.

Quinn

Scam artists. Tourist trap. There's the main points. The website says $44 taxes in. Then you get there and they've scribbled $60 on the card. Classic bait and switch scam. Well you've rented a car and driven there, want to turn around and go back to Vegas? Or do you want to spend $160 CAD for you and your wife just to get in? The views get 5 stars. The scammers get -3 stars. Beware. Book ahead on the website if you insist on giving them your money.

Ramon Almeida

I hated the fact that they charge so much for the skywalk and you can’t take your own personal pictures. They claim (they have signs that say this) that it is to prevent you from dropping it in the canyon but they let you take hats and sun glasses which are more likely to fly away than your phone. They have a professional photographer that can take your picture but they charge a ridiculous amount per picture. I rather that they be honest and tell me upfront that they are a business than hide under a moral pretense like keeping the canyon clean. Also the base price is $60 which is higher than what they have in their website. If this does not bother you at all then you will have a good time because the views are really good.

Han Zhao

Don't go to this place, 50 bucks for a 5 mins bus pass and 25 bucks for a 15 secs or 40 feet long glass walk, plus couple hours wasted on the way driving to there. Nothing amazing, it is definitely much much worse view than the another side of grand canyon. Go to another side and you can also see the antelope canyon, horseshoe bend and much more.

Slim Satire

This place is awesome. It's about a two hour drive from Vegas. So if you're going to Vegas, on Day 1 rent a car and go here. On the way you'll stop at the Hoover Dam too. It's not cheap at the Skywalk...you have been warned. So take some of that gambling money that ya were gonna lose anyhow, and instead spend it here. Look up prices online. But lots of hiking and sightseeing! I would go back again.

Caleb Caldwell

This was an awesome experience and worth the price, once. I don't I'd ever go again. We hit it just right and went early in the morning and when it was raining and were the only ones on the skywalk for a while. As the day went on the park started to get fairly crowded and we were there on a rainy Thursday. I can't imagine what it would have been like on a busy day. The process are outrageous and everything is very much a tourist trap, but it was easy to get to and the buses between the sights were convenient and frequent.

Jim Tinlin

Very impressive views from the Skywalk, a lot shorter than it looks but the drop off is impressive. Photographers are well trained and did a great job posing us. Lines managed very well and the savings during "Mohave County Day's" were awesome.

Alex Paragas

This place just tries to be a Disney attraction. To people wanting to visit this place, based off a very faded picture of no cameras and a old metal detector, made it clear they won't ever change their decision to allow cameras. A lady said at the desk said cameras aren't allowed because it can crack the glass. I call BS on that since I've been to Skywalks at Japan which are much longer and I can take my camera on them. Upon walking on the grand canyon Skywalk, the glass itself is dirty and looks like it wasn't even maintained. Yeah that $28 fee is surely going to good use, right to the manager's deep pockets. I recommend people going to the south rim instead.

Frank Crook

If you have never been here, you need to add it to your bucker list. It is an amazing site to behold.

Pádraig Rochford

It's ok but not worth the money and you can't take a camera out so they charge you more for photos. Plenty of places to get awesome pictures of the canyon. this is a tourist trap.

Paul Gordon

Fantastic you can't take any pictures Yourself on the sky Walk as you may just drop your phone over the edge but there are numerous photographer's on hand willing to snap away so you can buy your souvenirs

Victor Alarcon

Ok, you will not be able to make any photo, after paying 88 USD being requested more money is a bit excessive. I was also hoping for best views

Abdul Ejas

Stunning views of the canyon and river. I wish there was a person or more inscriptions providing information about the Hualapai people. Breathe taking!!! Nature at it best. Very cool. We waited for the picture package and it wasnt for me. Though others loved it and purchased in our group.
