REVIEWS OF Grand Canyon National Park IN Arizona

Rebecca Herrera

We loved camping here. The Ravens are crazy; be careful! The Park Rangers on the Bright Angel trail were amazing, nice and knowledgeable. Water is available at the 1.5 and 3 mile rest stops, which is amazing. South Rim path is well taken care of and paved. There are tons of people and it’s totally worth the $35 park fee.

Brendan Crawford

A wonderful experience you have to hike down to the bottom but bring plenty of water with you and expect this to be a all day trip. Walking around the path you can capture amazing photos and experience the beautiful nature. Highly recommend would visit again 100%.

Lisa Wanders

Grand Canyon never disappoints. Breathtaking views. I recommend renting bicycles and take the challenge... At times steep but the reward is ways there when you stop at a vista point!

Jody Kuyava

It is amazing, need a good couple days to really see a lot and even then one wouldn't touch but a sliver. Wish that there could be better access for wheelchairs or be able to rent them or scooter mobility ones. Glad I got to see what I did, it's checked off my bucket list!

Michele Lee

Amazing and beautiful. Not too crowded which was nice. The weather was a bit breezy but kept it cool...take a jacket or sweatshirt.

Robert Wippermann

So big, So amazing, So Grand. Very surreal. Bring your own lunch and water bottle to save substantial money, plenty of shaded picnic tables. Food, water and bathrooms are far and few between so go before you start and carry one bottle water each. Take the free shuttles to amazing outcrops and the other cafeterias. Expect to walk miles in hot sun/ some shade. They don't mention the shuttles much, but to save a lot of steps and see more of the canyon take the shuttles.

Kevin Tucker

Wow. Simply wow. Completed Rim 2 Rim, north to south. Amazing trip through the canyon in about 14 hours. You end up seeing things you'd never expect in a canyon setting.

Lee Ruben

Beautiful park, more people should go visit this lovely park and there are numerous trails to hike. There is also a cabins or rooms to stay overnight. A nice restaurant to dine at or gift shop to buy snacks.

Country Boy

Grand Canyon National Park is really a great place to visit and the views will amaze you. The scenery is really beautiful. We took a lot of really nice picture here and we will always remember the Grand Canyon. We hope to stop by here again on our trips out west in the years to come. If my review helps you in any way can you PLEASE leave me a thumbs up like on my review. Thank you.

Mike Young

I had been to the South rim many years ago and finally got to the north rim. Every bit as spectacular and you can hike out to an overlook that really makes you feel like you are in the canyon. If you are ever close enough to the grand canyon, make time to see it. You won't regret it.

Timmy D

Breathtaking!! Absolutely beautiful, the rock colors change throughout day based on the angle of the sun! No picture can portray the beauty of your natural vision!

Bill Westervelt

This has been on my bucket list for decades. Now at nearly 60, I'm so joyful I didn't miss this. Also glad we're here for 5 nights, there is so much to see and do.

Joe Butler

What more can I say that everyone else hasn't already said. You should definitely put this place on your bucket list. Pictures can't do it justice. You have to see it with your own eyes. I recommend you take a couple of days one day just doesn't seem like enough time to even scratch the surface. There is so much I wanted to do but didn't have time to.

Kanwar Randhawa

Breathtaking experience at the park. Decided to do the grand view trail which was extremely steep. A geologists dream as the strata is amazingly exposed. Highly suggest visiting here at least once in your lifetime.

Anita Elliott

One of the best and awesome places I've ever been. I sat in awe of Gods beauty. So breathtaking. A must see.

Stephanie Casillas

Had lunch with this chubby guy and great views. Day hiked to the bridge and back. Only recommended for avid hikers or someone more athletic. Bring lots of water! My Fitbit completion for the hike was amazing!

Jessica Hash

amazing, need a good couple days to really see a lot and even then one wouldn't touch but a sliver. Wish that there could be better access for wheelchairs or be able to rent them or scooter mobility ones. Glad I got to see what I did, it's checked off my bucket list!

eric de leon

What can I say to this magnificent National Park.... The grandest of them all! Sunrise and sunset always gets me. God's creation at its finest!

Michele Weslander Quaid

The Grand Canyon North Rim is a must see! It's gorgeous and the foliage is different from what you find on the south side. There are short hikes to take that are not strenuous, to include the Cape Royal hike which is paved and has amazing vistas.

Igor

Everyone saw photos and films about the Grand Canyon. But to imagine this is impossible until you see. Nature is truly inexhaustible - that’s all you think when you look at this miracle. The only drawback is the long drive, from Las Vegas over 4 hours. Therefore, it is better to spend the night.

Amber Driggers

Visited the whole South Rim! It was gorgeous, it's like you forget the beauty it holds until you go back and realize it's just a mass of something that was once something so much greater!

Nancy Cayer

It's the crown jewel of Arizona. If you're visiting AZ, take time to see a most natural wonder. Lots of choices in trails and degrees of difficult to easy.

Keli Blevins

Born and raised in AZ and I am very proud of all the beauty this state has to offer. Nothing in the world compares to the Grand Canyon. It is absolutely breath taking and I Love to visit, no matter the time of year. Everyone should see the Grand Canyon at least once in their life, you won't be disappointed. The trails, restaurants and shops are great. I just love it. And, if you're into taking nature photos like me, this is the place to be! Update: more pics added

Gary Kelsey

So consummately excellent. Would not like to leave!! I cherished outdoors in Mather Campground. Love seeing the Elk simply walk through like it was no major ordeal. I adored the excellent Gorge whose lovely assuredly is Fabulous!! The moon was full and wonderful! Stars were marvelous to take a gander at. The climate was warm yet windy and at any rate 30 degrees cooler than Phoenix. This is the reason I would not like to return home. Cherished it to such an extent!

Jamy Rose

Beautiful place. I have to say the part that I liked most is that they have to scenic drives for handicap accessible roads for you to drive on if you are unable to get off and on shuttles. So far it's the only Park I have seen that allows that.

Roy Ruprecht

Spent a few days camping with some good friends. Had a great time. Not near as crowded as the south end. The sights are unbelievable, one place is over 11,000. feet. Bring a good camera and some binoculars. It's a must see.

Francisco Valdés Calderón

Breathtaking. This place is very well organized from the moment you park and enter, there are maps and signs very well made. There very well encourage you to preserve Water because is hard to get there. The museum is really nice it has the whole story of the canyon since the beginning to most recent discovery’s. Another part of the park has a theater that shows a nice documentary of the gran canyon. It’s so big I think you might need a couple days just to see the whole park it has also different buses that take you to important points of the park. Definitely if you’re coming to AZ you need to come to this place.

The Kesslers

You never truly understand why it is one of the seven wonders of the world unless you have been there to see it in all of its majesty and vastness. Its breath taking beauty will leave you awe struck and amazed.

Marybeth Caldwell

The canyon is breathtaking! The park is well organized, with a free shuttle system to take you to the overlooks and the village, marketplace, etc. We met many friendly employees and visitors from around the world. We loved our visit to the south rim!

Rickey Roy

GO! You will love it! Stay in Williams if you can do the old rout 66 at night its a lot of fun and for dinner for 2 Red Raven restaurant!

Leon Spargo

I didn't really care for all the buses running every 10 minutes or so. And all the other traffic. But I understand why people want to see the Grand Canyon. It is impressive beyond words. Majestic, magnificent, stupendous, incredible; don't begin to describe something so spectacular. I stood on the edge and looked down. I don't remember the last time I felt so alive. I DO NOT recommend standing on the edge to everyone. It's a very long way down. I might have to do it again.

Paulina_Vex

One of the most beautiful places I've ever seen and been to! If you decide to hike remember about enough amount of the water, salty snacks, cap on your head and to be with someone. Also, only go there if you are experienced hiker and you have good physical condition. Views are marvelous at each point.

Alex Baykalov

Amazing. Exceeded my expectations. So beautiful everywhere! I drove all around it and I think you need few weeks here to truly feel this place.

Amit Susurla

Awesome. It seems the Earth has opened up. We drove down from LA to Williams. We did the train from Williams to the Grand Canyon South Rim as a day trip. The train ride is oversold as an experience. We could not hike the canyon due to underage kids .Did the plane ride over the canyon. This was awesome.Suggest folks with young kids do this.

John Feng

It was fun to observe the Milky Way. The bus service is convenient and drivers are super considering. The sunset was good. We walked bright angel trail a little, and it was super hot. The restaurants are inexpensive and quite good. The service was slow though. There is no canyon view by the window, although they are by the canyon.

Daniel Grove

We went to the Southern Ridge and saw some beautiful scenery. Being here will remind us that the world has so much to offer and humble us in the same way. Definitely visit the all the local attractions near the Visitors Center.

C.E. Mahan

Always an amazing trip to the Grand Canyon. I've been here many times and it is always more stunning than the time before. You definitely can see more of the Canyon with the bus rides to the other parts of the park. We somehow always get a hilarious ranger at the pay station at the entrance. Definitely a part of the country that is protected that sound remain protected and unchanged. It's beauty should remain protected for future generations to marvel at it's spectacular wonders!

Jake Wilson

You have to see it for yourself to get the depth of how beautiful it is. Thankful to have finally gotten to see it. The park is well ran and taken care of. Just awesome.

Elizabeth Territo

We loved the north rim! Go to cape royal !! vista encantada was a great viewpoint as well. It’s all so indescribable.

adam smith

Love this place, we brought the family here for vacation and had a great time. My only complaint is that we didn't schedule ourselves enough time here. I would recommend that everyone visits this park at least once.

joshua young

You can't go wrong with visiting the grand Canyon. Its soooooo beautiful and gorgeous. Its something you have to see in your lifetime. It will cost you $35 but pay it you won't be disappointed

Andy So

This national park is awe inspiring. A great national wonder. Please protect it and keep visitors inspired.

deepa singh

Great place, heaven on earth, before heading to the point do visit visitors center, they guide you how to cover the attractions or beautiful points. Their map

Buddy Huggins

I'm real happy then I went to see the Grand Canyon it is beautiful and there's so much to see and do. Be sure to bring a camera and an extra battery and backup. I will give you a tip and trick take as many pictures as you feel. Example of your taking a picture of somebody standing next to the Grand Canyon Take 5 to 10 pictures. Out of the 10 pictures you'll probably find to that are really good and InFocus.

Brian Turner

I've been to the Grand Canyon a few times. I have seen something new and even more awe inspiring each time. I have missed Hermits rest until this trip. The road is only accessible on a transit bus so the map says. There were quite a few bicycles and I think I heard the bus driver say if you had a handicap license plate. *double check that with the park don't take my word for it. Take a good quality camera, a lot of water, eat, sunscreen, a good sunshade hat and get plenty of sleep/rest before visiting. Do some research on amenities and things to do while you're there before you go. If you dream about hiking down to the canyon and camping inside the canyon you'll need to make reservations at least 1 year in advance. It is an extreme hike not for anyone that isn't very fit and used to hiking. I have personally seen I have seen accomplished hikers getting are rescued out of the canyon.

Billy Randall

When got off the train to site see with many pics, but I just turned my camera off, leaned back onto the tree behind me and stood so still at thee majestic sight which is a must see that I admit as a grown man of 51 yrs old first vacation from working the small beef farm to raise our own food. This trip will be a cherished memory.! Go, go, go, I promise that it is a must see. .

Alexis Tsoi

One of the most beautiful places I have ever been to! I visited the South Rim Very tourist friendly as there are shuttle services that help you get around the park. Highly recommend visiting every stop and hiking if you have time. It's best to spend at least 2 full days here.

Andy H

Breathtaking! Absolutely breathtaking. We spent entire day walking around, one day is definitely not enough but nonetheless amazing experience.

Maximilian Shakal

Great place to visit - young or old, tall or short, male or female! The drive in is pleasant, but expect to be stuck in line for about 20-30 minutes if you're coming in between 10-3pm. You can buy the entrance pass online ($35), so that saves some time. You can take a shuttle into the park and bypass the traffic, but might be a hassle. Once inside, the parking lots might be tough to find a spot, but after that, it's smooth sailing. Enjoy the multiple viewpoints available to you all by taking the free, AC-cooled shuttle bus service. If you're short on time, walk the rim from the visitor center to the village. The docents are very helpful and have informative mini lectures on the trail too. You can take as many pictures as you want, but being there can't be topped. They have some food options on site, but I didn't check them out - likely a bit pricey. The gift shop places are reasonably priced and have a wide array of goods.

Mary Basta

Wonder place to visit. Need more than just a few hours to see more. If a few is all you have you will be amazed of all God's creation and the beauty he created for us to enjoy ...

Melissa Rodriguez

Amazing! After seeing the rim trail briefly though, I highly recommend the trails that go into the canyon. It's beautiful and really makes you feel like a part of the earth here. However, be careful and come prepared to take your time and focus on your breathing

Le Anon

John Wesley Powell said it best. The wonders of the Grand Canyon cannot be adequately represented in symbols of speech, nor by speech itself. The resources of the graphic art are taxed beyond their powers in attempting to portray its features. Language and illustration combined must fail.

Gouri Usha Mannepalli

Good parking. Fantastic views all around. Majestic place. Must visit. Restrooms, gift shops, water fountains all available. A bit tough to walk if one is not physically fit.

Jon Tscheulin

The grand canyon is definitely something one should put on there bucket list I've done the North rim twice know and it was as awesome the second time as the first.... My wife had never been so I took here for our annual birthday trip and the look on her face when she saw it for the first time was priceless...

A'Rod De Cali

Highly reccommend to visit with family. Beautiful views, many locations to sit and enjoy the canyons. Animal life is far from shy. Be cautious in some areas there no rails or barricades. Not safe for small children

Debbie Reitz

So perfectly beautiful. Didn't want to leave!! I loved camping in Mather Campground. Love seeing the Elk just saunter through like it was no big deal. I loved the beautiful Canyon whose beautiful most certainly is Grand!! The moon was full and beautiful! Stars were awesome to look at. The weather was warm but breezy and at least 30 degrees cooler than Phoenix. This is why I didn't want to go home. Loved it so much!

Christine Morgan

I enjoyed our stay immensely. Friendly staff, knowledgeable rangers and wonderful weather. Our second visit this year and we have barely scratched the surface. Definitely will be back next year. Using the heck out of our season pass!

Harlan Sandoval

This is a great experience to have and have the best memories of your life because you are able to admire how small we are in earth and most of the time our ego let us feel like bigger than others ; get some snacks or bring your own food to enjoy this views while you eat there and observe this magnificense place

Bill Diak

We've gone to the Canyon many times because we live so near. This was the first time back in a few years. Spent 3 days re-exploring. What can you say, it's called the Grand Canyon for a reason. Weather was perfect. It's always Grand!

Lydia Pinckney

If you're going to the Grand Canyon, the way to do it is the boat ride tour through the Canyon. Amazing beautiful, plus you get a lot of history. And you see things that you can not see from the top

Dennis Merryman

Me and my wife visited last year, amazing place. We purchased a year national park pass and were able to see lots of national parks around the U.S. Best bet is year pass, most parks are 35 or 40 $ to get in, yr. Pass is 70 $. Saves you lots of money.

Sandra King

The Grand Canyon is breathtaking. It's amazingly beautiful from all different view points. Also stunning at different times of the day with the sunrise to sunset. The down side is it's really crowded have patience and your walking shoes on. Definitely worth it.

Sarah Neal

The Grand Canyon is totally epic. We live in Flagstaff nearby, so we've been many times. Our favorite way to explore it is on bikes along the rim. It's an unbeatable way of doing the Canyon with kids. We love taking all our visitors from around the world on this adventure! Highly recommend it. You can rent bikes next door to the visitor center at Bright Angel Bicycles or take your own.

chetan J

This is why i love paying taxes. The government does a fantastic job of keeping our parks maintained and the services they provide. Truly majestic

Mark Algar

Classic, unique natural wonder. Lots of information available to help you avoid dangerous situations, especially on hikes down to the river (and back!)

Steven Kurelko

No doubt the best part of our trip. Rented a car and drove out from Vegas for the day. Our national parks are truly a treasure. Appreciate and respect them so they are there for another hundred years...

Ron Wochnick

What a beautiful place! God is amazing! It is Awesome!!! Place to see! I've been here Many times and it never gets old, to think that There was That much water flowing through Their boggles my mind. No doubt theirs was A flood just like the bible tells us,

Michele J. Halverson

One of the natural wonders of the world! Do stay overnight inside the park if you can, the views are worth it. Once inside busses run about every 15 minutes. Babies welcome. The entire South rim in one day and horses nearby. Passports for kids make it even more fun.

E Ruffin

Go that is the only thing that matters. But if you have kids put them on a leash for their safety. It is so beautiful. Take a lunch and enjoy. The deer will let you walk up to them

Chris Mastramico

Don't talk yourself out of making this trip. Totally worth it. I only went for the day, hiked 6 miles on Bright Angel trail and then drove to the far East side of the park to watch the sunset, and I would have loved to stay longer.

Chris Isbell

Very well run. Easy to get around despite the crowds. Spectacular views and trails everywhere and so much history. Loved it!

Viktoriya Shabanova

Beyond any words! Absolutely loved every single view! Spring break was a very good time to visit. The weather was just right, and much less people than during summer. If you haven't been here before, just put it on the very top of your "Must visit" list!

Bridget Fain

I have no words for the beauty of this place ..it is so worth the visit. The have shuttle busses that can take you to see the sites and hiking trails. There are plenty of overlooks for you to stop at . It is $35 per car unless you are military . Definitely stop and visit this national park.

Sarah Solana

The Grans Canyon is a Natural Wonder for obvious reasons. Highly recommend! Try going at night as well to see more stars than you have in your life!

Lorrie Gonzales

You have to see it at least once in person. If you go during the winter you'll be able to see it snow some days! Tip: don't stand too close to the edge of the cliff for a photo because some of those rocks are unstable. And don't leave food lying around because those squirrels are not afraid to grab it.

Big Dob

Simply breathtaking. Words and pictures cannot describe how amazing this place is. The Canyon is definitely a must see. Don't feed the squirrels.

Whycantichangemyname

There are no words to describe the wonder of this place. 10000000/10 would love to go again. You will feel such comfort there. The peace and silence is meditative.

Helen Higgs

I like the north rim because it is more rustic and hikes are very diverse. South rim has amazing vistas. If you want more solitude hit the north rim.

Sameer Sheikh

There is nothing I can say or no photo I can post that will begin to describe the grandeur of this place. It shouldn't even be called a place, the word diminishes what it is. It's something that can only be described as awe, bit awesome, just awe. Experience it and you will see what I mean.

Leonel Barragán

Amazing natural national park with incredible panoramic views throughout it's trails and stops. Accessible during most of the year by park bus routes with none to limited access by private vehicles. Make sure to watch the daily sunrise or sunset events from the various lookout points with the Hopi Stop being the most favored.

Austin Robert Flores Sr.

Seeing the sun set at Grand Canyon South Rim was a breathtaking experience. Certainly it will be for anyone. It is worth the trip taking, and a moment you would want to share with your loved ones. Parking was available close to where the bus departs, and buses conveniently transport you to the view points around the park. They also facilitate pick up for an hour after the sun sets. The drive to the Grand Canyon is also beautiful.

Anton Boyar

Grand Canyon National park is a mind blowing place on earth. It’s hard to express your feelings when you realize how big it is. Photos speak for themselves.

Daniela Garcia

One of my favorite parks to walk about. They are very accessible and friendly. We got to see the elk this time they are most majestic as ever.

Shruty Reddy

Spectacular views!!!! Nature at it's best. Incredible rock formations. If possible everyone must at least visit once. It's completely drive able and the major viewpoints are accessible by a minimum walk. I personally would recommend going down into the canyon, if you are fit. But you need to be well prepared and have a weeks time.

John Meyer

The National Park Foundation is not only about protecting the beautiful national parks across America. Strengthening their connections with the remarkable places is also what the National Park Foundation is promoting.

Teresa King

Took the Grand Canyon Railway to see the spectacular views of the Canyon!! What an amazing trip up and back with Cameron our guide! You can tell he really loves his job and the grand canyon!! He made the train ride so very fun!! He also recomended the french onion burger for lunch and it was fabulous!! This guy really knows his stuff!! Thanks Cameron for making this the most enjoyable trip to the Canyon ever!!

Michele Kane

The Grand Canyon is one of the Seven Natural wonders of the world and even saying that doesn't help to convey just how truly amazing this place is. The Grand Canyon is a must see for all. The views both above and below the rim are indescribable. There are buses in this park that will help you navigate all of the different main vistas. One visit to this park and you will fall in love.

S Renaudie

Just one word: wow. A fantastic place to see. The south rim offers great views of the canyon. The car park is located 5 minutes' walk from the edge of the canyon and it's an easy and pleasant walk. There's shade when it's really hot and sunny and also regular clean toilets along the different stops. Would be nice to have more benches to rest.

Kacey Hallock

Can’t say enough about this amazing place. Must see. It’s $35.00 for your vehicle if you don’t have a pass. Wear comfortable shoes. We stayed for sunset, highly recommend.

Duncan W Fraser

Photos do little justice to the wonder if the Grand Canyon and, let's face it, your own eyes will have a hard time catching up. GO! Experience the wonder for yourselves!

Justin Maxwell

Simply amazing! A must do for any bucket list. The depth and width of the canyon is hard to comprehend without seeing it in person. The canyon trail and scenic lookouts are great. There are nice paved paths and it's easy to spend the whole day just checking out the different vantage points.

joseph weigand

What a sight to behold, truly one of the most incredible places on earth. Only problem was I had my dang pants disappear off my body almost immediately upon arrival. Can't say I've ever had that happen before, so I won't be back

Humberto Torres

What can I say about the Grand Canyon. It's a wonderful place to go, it's always fresh up there. Nice place to go for a walk.

Jiger Jain

This place is a real serene! The spots are spectacular. From every other spot you get a new view of the mountains and it is really cool out there at that altitude. I had fun hope You guys have too! All for now/ —

Doug Richardson

This was my first time at the Grand Canyon. The north rim is the best side. I would definitely recommend doing a mule ride ask for Kitty she is a great tour guide on the trail.

Linsi Locks

Four stars because it was so crowded. We did a hike around the top of the canyon, which got us away from all the people that just wanted to come, look, and leave.i would like to see it from down in the canyon.

Danielle Pearce

One goes to the Grand Canyon for the views, and they are spectacular. To fully appreciate the wonder that is the Grand Canyon, one needs to spend some time there, seeing the sunrise and sunset and how the shifting patterns of clouds and shadows change the palette of the canyon. The campgrounds and RV park are all serviced by a shuttle bus that runs about every 10 to 15 minutes.

Nathan Adair

It's a giant beautiful hole! Pull offs around the canyon are plentiful. Every spot is a different view. Heavy tourism as expected, so avoid the main spot with huge parking lots. You will find peace in many other places.

Caleb Persia

Seeing the canyon for the first time leaves many awe-struck. Hiking to the bottom was an experience that I will always cherish. I met lots of amazing people along the way. I spent three days in the canyon and wish I could've spent more. Nothing else quite like it. Humbling place to walk and realize how small you are.

Kyle Fly

2nd time to visit, first at the south rim. No words or pictures can explain the beauty of this place! I love it so much!

Jennifer Pavlicek

Have visited several times and it provides a new experience each time! Have taken the train from William's, several different van tour companies and on our own. Learned and saw something different each time.

Mindy M

The Grand Canyon is a must see. We spent 4 days and it wasn't long enough! It's gorgeous. I can't say enough about the beauty and majesty of this place. It is a humbling and awe inspiring natural wonder. The park is a little hard to navigate. The cell service is very unreliable and completely unavailable in a large part of the park. Printed directions or a map are good items to pack. Food was surprisingly not TOO over priced, throughout the park. Each gift shop had a different selection of items to see. The rim trail is a must do. Make time to watch sunset from a view point along the red bus line, and drive out to the desert watch tower.

Rick Horner

It's one of the most amazing places I've ever been to. It's definitely a natural wonder worth seeing.

Farouk Mohammed

This National park is simply awesome, my first visit and my initial eye contact with the canyons south rim was just 'awe' it was breathtaking, so beautiful and more than I have expected as I didn't think it was so clean and untouched. I walked the entire south rim to see it from all angles but this monster is gonna take several visits to be able to see it all. Highly recommended.

Anca Gooje

Amazing park! Spend at least a day. Bring food and water, wear appropriate clothes and footwear, and stay away from the edges. Safety first!

Shane Davis

My family literally had their breath taken away when they saw it for the first time. It’s that spectacular. North Rim is the best!!

Emanuele Blicchi

One of the most famous national parks. We stayed only one day on the south rim and it was beautiful. It would have been good to explore the trails leading down to the river but it requires an overnight stay in a camping area

Les Kafel

Breathtaking. Awesome. Words cannot adequately describe the beauty and grandeur of the Grand Canyon. If you haven't been, put it on you must see list

mishka mooshka

i absolutely loved this park!! all the different people from different countries really made me enjoy every moment! lots of ranger talks (very nice and informative), and all the views are just... spectacular. i totally recommend going here and taking a look for yourself. its not humid, so that made this trip a lot better. i will be coming back!

angelina de ita

It was surreal..like a painted backdrop..after a few moments of taking it in I moved into the geology museum. It had a viewing window that was great with lots of interesting info

Robert Metcalfe

Very nice clean place. Not as crowded this time of year. Many foreign tourist. Gasoline is very high as most other things. Be prepared.

Nancy Haworth

The Grand Canyon National Park is beautiful with so many fantastic vista points! My family had less than a day to drive through it, and that was not enough time! We stopped at many viewing areas along the way, and went into Grand Canyon Village. All of it is amazing, just make sure you give yourself days to truly enjoy it!

Patty Bellotte

Love it! What a beautiful, majestic place! Highly recommend for a family vacation, friends adventure, romantic getaway, solo trip. Just go! It's amazing!

raftingdon2

Once in a lifetime type trip. Every person should see this at least once. South Rim is by far the best.

Michael Broadhead

It's very unique and different from the three national parks we've visited. I was very surprised to see bison on the north rim. Very interesting story behind how they got there. Beautiful views. There was a lot of smoke in the air from a forest fire in Page. Wish we could have stayed to watch the sunset but we were on a tight schedule. Hopefully we'll be able to see the sunrise on the south rim tomorrow.

Yoann Lussier

Kilometers around you, nature has sculpted rock and earth to create a masterpiece. The size of canyons will sure give you vertigo but the path winding aroud the gorges keeps you at a safe distance. They also built glass-paned floors over canyons but you have to pay a hefty price.

Jon F

Spectacular natural beauty. Some of the most magnificent views on the planet earth. Visitors can experience the canyon without much exertion by staying just on the rim or you can take a hike into the canyon. When I visited we stayed on the rim but I regret that we didn't spend more time in the park and do some hiking.

Michael Thompson

Truly breath taking place. Brought my family here last month and it was special. Mother nature sure is amazing!

rick pixel

It's pretty good but I didn't give it five stars because you have to walk all that way I think they're going to put in a new road and parking lot to make it easier. But it was beautiful.

O Oz

The experience overwhelms you. Oct 1, 2019. Great time to go. Summer vacation over. Kids back in school. No crowds to put up with. Temp was 76 to 80 daytime. 58 to 62 night. Jacket at night and early morning.

Dannie Testerman

Fog in the bottom of Great Canyon. Couldn't see a thing. Had a great time anyway. Always a great place to visit. Seen a lot of Elk.

Amber Caraballo

This place is so amazing. Pictures and videos don't do this place justice. It's way better in person. We will definitely be going back.

Unbelievable experience as always. It is awesome to see God’s work on display. The lodge has a magnificent seating area to take it all in while avoiding the elements (North Rim).

What else would such an iconic wonder of the world deserve but 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars! North Rim was our choice this visit. Lots of bison, coyote, deer, birds and bats to check out in addition to the luscious scenery. Something so awe-inspiring about standing on the rim of such a magnificent canyon that it brings out the transendetalist in everyone. . Cabins by Lodge look so inviting that we may forgo the tents and add a cabin visit next time. Ranger talks a nice addition to a day of hiking and vista visits. Clean, peaceful, nature-filled campgrounds with stunning clean shower/bathroom/laundry facility. Fantastic double-walled fire pits with double grate system at each campsite. Nice General store, too, with not-too-high prices on goods. Wish Ravens weren’t so prevalent but it is a park! Friendly park staff always willing to answer questions. Grand Canyon-an American treasure

Some amazing views around the park. The map could be a bit better designed. But all in all its a wonder worth seeing

This is a must see, bucket list moment!!! The pictures just doesn't do it justice it was absolutely breathtaking, it was one of my favourite moments of my trip, if your out this way Vegas, Arizona you must see this!!! We got a small tour from our hotel in Vegas and did route 66, the Hoover dam and Grand Canyon. The national park was well kept, sign posted, informative and plenty of souvenir shops, oh and be sure to get a well deserved ice cream, it's delicious!!!

Took my daughter and her boyfriend had a great time. Was a little crowded with parking but no more that 10 minutes to get a place. Absolutely beautiful!

Absolutely love Grand Canyon. Definitely worth it to drive through Desert View Road and stopping at each small scenic point for pictures. In my opinion they are the best views!
