Friendly informative staff. Interesting things to read throughout. Ladies bathroom had a lengthy line, smelled of urine and were tight corridors. There are four stalls though and in an emergency it served its purpose.

Jeff Abbott

Interesting history of the area.

Tohy don't often get ro witness first hand the beauty that a trip to Alaska will offer. You see so much more on foot. For example. It's a bit of a hike to the Mendenhall glacier, but it's a bargain at TWICE the distance.

Greg Bloom

Learned a lot of information we didn't know. Great movies and the museum was very interesting.

NOTE: The above featured photo of the AB HALL is the SKAGWAY VISITOR CENTER and NOT the KLONDIKE GOLD RUSH NHP visitor center. Both are excellent resources, but Google really needs to allow a way to report when featured photos are not of the locations they are labeled as.

Richard Corcorran

Any time you can visit a NPS facility, you should. This one is no exception. Excellent and best thing I've seen of the Klondike gold rush

Celina Marie

I cannot figure how Google has me listed here. I was on a cruise ship in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. I am sure this is 5 star so want to rate 5 stars ...it sounds exotic and hope to go!!

Tour was informational. Seeing pictures of the hardships and how many people perished for the dream of striking it rich...made the Gold Rush more real, rather than a story in our history books

Anton

It is great place to start you visit. They have free movie and free and payed walking tours.

Excellent spot to visit and enjoy when you get a chance to check out Alaska. Knowing some things about the region helps you appreciate it just that much more. We've been twice and we're going back again soon. If you have the opportunity to visit... TAKE IT!

Rustell LoManto

The area of Skagway has several National Parks locations that are part of the one park. Be sure to explore beyond the first building to get the full experience. I suggest doing the junior ranger programs to learn the most about the park.

James Marx

Small regional museum with interesting local history.

Char B

Wonderful little getaway. We took the FREE tour from the National Park Headquarters. It was great. You can pick your tour and time. Sign up early they go fast. Best place for souvenir shopping. We also hiked Lower Lake Trail on the advice from a guy who worked at the general store. A quiet getaway.

Megan Coburn

This was such a fun place to visit! There was a lot of information yo read, and stunning views for when reading seemed like too much work. Panning for gold was one of the hilights of my trip... it felt like being a kid and it was hard to leave. I hope we can stop by again!

Cesar Ramirez

Back tonthe past! Lovely small town.

Fatima Fernanda Guerrero Gonzalez

Pip Oddie
