Great place! They helped us out, in a pinch, on our way to Minnesota!! We were just going thru town and started Having problems with my back roter and disc and brake. Stop there no appointment or anything, they replaced it all and we were on our way! So friendly!! So thank you again!!!

I've been working on the road for over 20 years and there is nothing worse than having car troubles away from home. I dropped my car off with a very short description of the problem and my phone number. Car was done within hours, and since I couldn't get there before closing they let me pay by phone and left the receipt in the car. I would recommend this place highly to anyone...

I was broke & my church helped me so they took my car there. PT&AC ended up costing me almost $300 more(+350 they wer paid for AC compressor removal & a plastic pulley)!!! From the lack of attention on their work!! They couldn't make sure that pulley was in line to keep the belt traveling smoothly. Making belts jump continuously. Ending up burning up my power steering reservoir & soaking my enging & the ground.I had to replace that unit. Therefore costing me time of work to fix their mistakes plus new damages, parts $, & STRESS. Good thing I'm the family handyman/Jack of ALL Trades!!! They just want yer $$. To put things in the wrong places in, on, or around yer vehicle. They are not people friendly at all!!!

Worked on my nissan and of course it ran good while they had it and was told that it had an old code that it could be and ordered it for me to put it in myself and said he couldn't charge me when he actually didn't fix anything, well done I say well done and you will have my business

I was on a roadtrip with my Wife and nine month old son. We had stopped in Portage after a strange rattling started in the car the night before. Not only did they manage to squeeze us in last minute on a saturday they also didn’t charge us when it turned out to be a loose heat shield. Thank you! You saved our trip and let my son meet his twin cousins for the first time.

Had an emergency stop here on a road trip up north as our wiper fluid had frozen and we could no longer see through our windshield. They got us in immediately even though we gave them no advanced notice and fixed the issue. As we tried to leave the parking lot, our car would not start as the battery was dead. They took our car right back into the shop and installed a new battery. After all of that, we were in and out in about an hour and a half. Fantastic service on such short notice!

Had a flat tire on my truck. My aftermarket rims needed a special tool to take off the lugs. Portage tire lent me the special tool I needed to change the flat tire because I could not afford a tow. They also replaced the tire at a reasonable price. Definitely recommend.

Jerks. I purchased a pair of tires in Oct. Two months later one went flat. I drove in on my spare and asked to have it replaced. After a spat in the lobby over me paying full price for another tire and telling them to take the new one off I waited. A few minutes later I was shown in back to the old tire and a rather suspicious new hole that had appeared being cited as the cause for the flat. Dirty business.

Needed brakes changed asap and they were quick to get me in. Did a great job changing my brakes and were a lot cheaper than some of the other places I had looked into. Very honest and didn't try to sell me a bunch of other stuff that my car didn't need (hate it when auto shops do this). I returned two weeks later to get new tires. Got good Cooper tires for cheaper than Walmart had them. Very impressed with the service I received here.
