I'm not taking away a star by giving them four stars. I got a flat and came here out of convenience. They did not have my tire in stock but they ordered it and put it on within an hour of me arriving on Monday. The service was good, the atmosphere was peaceful and the dogs helped the hour pass by quicker. Granted I did not have an appointment and it probably would not have taken as long as it did, but I had no issue with the wait time. EVERYTHING was adequate and met my expectations. I will probably be going back soon to get my rear tires done as they seem far more competent than my last tire store. I would recommend them to friends. That being said I only tend to give 5 stars to exceptional establishments, which I'll acknowledge isn't exactly fair. However there are establishments that are exceptional and they deserve to be shown as such in reviews. This place is 5 stars in my book, you will get exactly what you came for and there isn't a lot of room for improvement. It to me though was extremely adequate not exceptional. I'm not going to be looking forward to needing tires but I know where to go if I do.

Ben, Mike and the whole crew have always provided me with the most competitive pricing, best recommendations and great service. Most recently Ben put new tires on my wife’s jeep. Within 24 hours He reviewed all my options, made sure I understood my warranties had the tires ordered and installed and it’s nice knowing these guys and girls care about my families well being long after we leave. I’ll never go anywhere else.

Traveling with small children on a fridgid afternoon we were thankful for Ray and the other employee who worked quickly and efficiently to help us repair our tire and get us back on the road. I have been in customer service for over 30 years and I know how important that first point of contact is for the company. The woman at the front desk customer service skills are horrible. No smile, no eye contact, and very unpleasant. She has a sign on the counter top stating" I have an attitude and I am not afraid to use it." I must say I agree! However, the young men who work changing tires, etc. were very friendly and appeared genuinely concerned about my safety. Needless to say, I would NOT recommend Pete's Tire Shop in Elkhorn to anybody. I rate one star and it goes to the auto maintenance gentlemen. T

Thought this was a nice place at first then the true colors shined through. Had my wife's suv in for tires was told needed a alignment during I told them to do it. After got the print out showing camber and cast was out of spec. They failed to tell me to get back in spec that a after market camber/cast adjuster kit needed to be installed. Instead I was told those settings did not matter. Also took my 4" lifted pick-up in for alignment after installing new tie rods, I was never given papers after alignment. When I drove my truck and it had a bad drift to drivers side. I took it back they made a adjustment and it had no change it still had a bad drift to the drivers side. At this time I was told it was drifting due to being out of adjustment for camber/cast. I asked if there was anything I could do to help get it dialed in they told me no that my option was to drop the lift down. Needless to say I knew this was not my only option I took to another shop and for $30 less and in less than a hour I had a alignment done and done right my truck now drives better than it ever has. This shop in my opinion is a shop for purchase of and mounting of tires ONLY.

When I started my phone search the person I spoke to was polite and helpful even though I was not ready to purchase tires. I decided that "Pete's Tire" offered the best deal. Mike took time to explain everything without talking down to me as an older woman. He and Ray and Myles did a great job on my RAV4. I am very particular who I let work on my car. Everyone I dealt with from the first phone contact to the end was helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to go back there.
