Very pleasant experience on 7/10. Had inspection, brake pads replaced, and oil change. Very reasonably priced, in and out pretty quickly. The staff were kind and even talked in length with who I believe may have been the owner. Just down home people and very approachable. They have been around a long time, so its your typically dated garage with no frills in the waiting area and building exterior. It is clean and professional with all the basics. I would much prefer reasonable prices as apposed to going to a more costly facility just for more contemporary aesthetics. Im sure other businesses that have the newer, bigger, contemporary asthetics have higher overheads causing higher bills to absorb that cost. Standard practice with bigger newer establishments. Upon driving by Teays Valley Tire, dont let the no frills exterior persuade you into going elsewhere for something more posh. You're going for good service at a good price. Not a more comfortable chair in a waiting area. My only suggestion is to implement a much larger and distinguishable sign. If you dont know its there, it's easy to miss with fewer markings.

Great service!! We pulled in with the car on a wrecker not quite sure what went wrong. They diagnosed the problem and had me back on the road in an Hour. Highly recommend them.

I have been going to this place for years and service/price has always been great until today. I always have tires mounted and balanced there for both my wife's and my vehicle. My vehicle (4 door sedan) has always been $12.50/tire and my wife's vehicle (full size SUV) $15/tire, understandable. I just had new tires put on my wife's car there 8 weeks ago. When I come back today to pick my car up, the gentleman that I suspect owns the place tells the cashier it is $20/tire with a $4/tire disposal fee. I questioned the price so the cashier calls the older guy back in to be sure because she seemed a little stunned too at $20/tire. He says "yep, $20/tire". Not sure if I rubbed him the wrong way or what today but that was highway robbery. Won't be returning. C Adam Tony just got a new customer!

Staff is always very friendly and they do great service at a very reasonable price. I've used them many times and they have always been very honest with me about what is wrong with my car and if I didn't have the money to fix it all at once they told me what needed to be fixed right then and what could wait. I would recommend this establishment to anyone who needs their car repaired

Nice hometown tire shop. Employees all very nice. The boss even likes to bargain when he is making a tire sale. The work on my car was done fast and they are the cheapest place around teays valley area.

Quick service stop in and available friendly staff. I also found out if i had not came in i could have had a serious wreck or car would not run completely but i may be a bit dramatic it was a bad tie rod the service was click and they also hooked me up with a great discount thanks guys keep up the good work.
