Had new tires installed, and had a faulty valve (Pressure monitoring system). They tried selling me an expensive valve replacement. I declined and asked them to install a regular valve. Afterwards, they discarded the old valve, making it impossible to clone I.D. numbers for a new pressure monitoring valve. Dirty revenge for failed, sloppy sales practices. Avoid this company at all costs.

I yesterday slid into a sidewalk and busted a 6 inch piece of my outrim entirely off and cracked. I ordered a normal steel rim for 55 dollars which is just as good as I wouldve got online and it arrived today at noon. Upon picking it up and seeing my rim they swapped the tire over to the new rim and balanced it at no extra cost. I greatly appreciate the extra service I have been provided and was in and out in 15-20 minutes. A great first impression of their business.

My wheels got scratched on my brand new 2017 f350 and my rear center caps got chunks broke out of them and cracked. The owner said he will replace them and every few weeks I checked in with him and story changed everytime about why they didnt have them. I still have all the texts and I haven't heard from him in about 8 months. I text him a few weeks ago and I still haven't heard from him. I've used that place several times but I wont be back now.

Very disappointed and upset. Mechanic broke a part while installing brakes and rotors in August 2018, Glotfelty charged me though it was not my fault. Nov 2018, front rotors were warped causing serious vibrations. I had to replace at my own expense.

I priced tires across the internet, and Glotfelty came in within a couple dollars with mounting, balancing, and lifetime rotations included. They had them within a day of me ordering them. It really saved me the hassle of ordering them, waiting for them, then finding a place to install them. I dropped the car off after hours and they called me when it was ready. They informed me about a suspension issue with the rear end and told me they couldn't get it aligned. They discussed the solution with me, gave me an estimate, and were very nice when I declined to order the parts and do the work myself. When I went back in a week after the parts were installed, I had them do an alignment and everything went great. Nice guys, no pressure, up front communication, respected the e-mail price quote they gave me for the tires.

My car broke down early Friday morning 11/16/2018. They were very quick in diagnosing the problem which was the serpentine belt. They were swamped with cars waiting to be fixed, tires replaced, and oil changes. They let me know that Monday would probably be the first day they could start working on it. To my surprise, they not only had it started on Saturday but completed by 10am monday morning. They also did a complete code diagnostics and checked everything else at no extra charge. The price was alot less than I expected as well. I am very happy with the service provided at Glotfeltys. They were fast in diagnosing, gave me an accurate estimate, and treated me very well. I will be a repeat customer.

I go to Glotfelty every time I need my tires balanced. They get my larger tires (33") balance better than anyone else. I've only experienced one issue of some loose lug nuts after an alignment and it was a simple fix. Every other experience I've had with Glotfelty was at a reasonable price and professional.

I will never go back to Glotfelty. I had to have a wheel bearing replaced and was quoted a price of $350 and that was just for the part. I found the exact same part (matching part number and manufacturer) on line for $144. I ultimately bought the exact part from Advanced auto for $137. I had Mike Weber at One Stop Auto replace it. All said and done I got it fixed for a total of $197.00. When I questioned the manager about Glotfelty's pricing he quoted me a price of $270 for the part and told me their normal mark up is 40% on parts.

I had some issues with tires they tried to get them balanced several times turned around and gave up on the tires block all new tires same problem found out it was a rim and I bought the rims from them and they put a new rim on my truck balanced everything for me I would recommend anybody to go there they seem to have pretty good mechanics and I'm thankful that I have a place I can go take my truck to get serviced and I know they'll do a good job

I purchased tires almost a year ago from Glotfelty. When I was reviewing the invoice after installation, I noticed that I was charged well over what I had been quoted for tires and service. When I called them to inquire about this, they could not give an explanation as to why I was charged more. They did however refund me the difference when I came back in. Today I stopped in to have these same tires rotated, a service they offer for free if you buy/install there. I tried to call earlier in the week to set up an appointment, but they said they only do walk ins. When I arrived today, they said it should take about an hour maybe a little more. 3 hours later (for a 30 minute job) I finally got my car back and several people that arrived after me had been seen, serviced, and left before me. I understand that I had a free service and those were probably paying customers, but I also spent a good deal of money when buying the tires there. Also, my car smelled like cigarette smoke when I got it back. Needless to say, I will be paying someone else to do this from here on out because I don't have the tools to do it myself, nor the patience for mishaps like these.

Dropped my car off for an oil change and inspection sticker. In a timely manner, I received a call from a Glotfelty staff member saying my car was done and ready for pick up. I paid for service received, chatted for a moment then left. Less than two miles after leaving Glotfelty, I pulled on to the interstate. As I entered the interstate, I heard something dragging on the road. I pulled off to the side of the interstate (scary as hell) and noticed something hanging from the underneath of my car. I instantly called Glotfelty and within 15 minutes a service guy arrived to help me. The man said the skid plate was missing. He tacked the piece up enough to get me back to Glotfelty so they could properly fix my car. Come to find out, the boy who changed my oil said he couldn't get the skid plate screws lined up so he decided to leave it off my car. What...who does this!! At the end of all this, my car was properly fixed, I received an apology and my next oil change is free. No one was hurt, at least I don't think so - I didn't see the boy who took it upon himself to toss aside a piece of my vehicle. All in all... Yes, I will continue to take my car to Glotfelty. They do excellent work and their customer service is great! BSC

We had a very good experience with purchasing the tires approx 18 months ago. We purchased tires with a 70k mile warranty. After 20k miles driven on these tires, we were warned they barely passed during inspection and could be dangerous if driven in the snow. We stopped to have them checked, and he said they were still good because they had 4/32 of tread yet, and they wouldn't be bald until they were 2/32. In order for us to claim them under warranty, they said we had to buy new tires and provide rotation records, and that we might get a little back. They said I'm out of luck if my father in law rotated them. I don't fault them for the poor tires, but I don't like how the warranty is handled for my tires. I've purchased other tires at another tire place, and the warranty is pro-rated based on mileage and taken off of purchase price of new tires. They could tell from the wear that they had been rotated too since the wear was even. At this point, I won't be buying new tires from Glotfelty. I'll go anywhere else. Before you buy, make sure you ask how the warranty is handled. They were not up front about this when we bought them. *****Addition to clarify based on response**** I was not told of the free rotation package being available to me at Bridgeport when I bought the tires. We had extended tire service at Honda, and they rotated at least once. I also said I would have to get the records from them that could show we had hem rotated more. My father in law does maintenance on some of our vehicles from time to time, so it is possible he rotated tires as well. My purpose of my review is to warn people of the warranty issues that I am having. I am sure that not everyone has these issues, but I did. I will not buy another tire here based on this handling. (And FWIW, that extends already to several extended family members ) If that is how you treat warranty for special order tires, you should be very specific up front. That might help you keep customers in the future. That was not the case here.

My wife dropped my tire off to get it plugged, I had to work. She came back to the shop later to pick up the tire and paid her bill. I just pull the tire out to put on my jeep, its flat. I look at the tire and it still has the screw in it. Paid $21.15 to have NOTHING fixed. Bottom line go somewhere else or babysit them. Check your tires, check the lugs, check any work they do, they sure as hell dont.

I appreciated the extra care they gave my classic car with a modifies performance suspension to the get the alignment just right. I went in for new winter tires. I had ones picked out after a long day of researching the right winter tire. After going in and asking about the specific tire work a very knowledgeable service member he suggested a different tire. He went into detail about how the tire is made we compared tire tread. I decided to go with his recommendation. It ended up costing me about $200 less for them. After a month I would say they are a great pick.
