I am usually not the person to pay top dollar, and so it was unusual for me to go with name brand tire service at Firestone, last June. But today am I ever glad that I did. I ran over a bolt over the weekend, and since I had purchased the road hazard coverage that came with the new tires, my brand new tire today was less than $50! And they worked hard to fit us in on a crazy busy Monday morning. Thank you Chris Comer and team. You are exemplifying customer service!

I ordered tire buyer tires online and this store was a installation shop near me. DJ the service advisor made a point that I wasn't paying for any customer service or support of his. My tires were dropped off at his shop without any documents from tirebuyer and he had me call them to have them call him. I could see how it might be frustrating not commissioning any money on tires from online sales, but they signed up for tirebuyer installer and set the pricing for installing their tires. I got my appointment to install, once we made sure there's tires recieved were mine. I arrived and checked in for my appointment. DJ immediately left and went home. The young kid working the counter was very nice and realized I had a baby with me and knocked out my tires quickly and efficiently. Glad it didn't take the 2 hours quoted for installing.

I would not recommend these guys. I have the lifetime alignment package with them. When I went in to get a minor adjustment done to my BMW the report was as follows. Steering & Suspension: Control Arm W/Ball JT remove & replace F Control arm lower, both. Total repair $857.10. I disagreed to the service. I take my car to Pacific Motor Sports for regular maintenance, and since it was due for service in November I would bring this issue up to them. Well I got my car serviced and they specifically inspected that area for wear and tear. Their diagnosis was that it's fine and not in need of replacement. Furthermore they told me that the car is in good shape and could receive alignments without complications. They also offered to do the alignment if I was interested and I told them I would call Firestone to address the issue. I called the shop and requested to speak to the Manager. After explaining the situation he immediately became defensive, and told me I would need to bring the vehicle down so they could hoist it up and check for shaking or loose movement. I told him that it had already been shown to me, but due to my lack of knowledge in the auto mechanic field I didn't have a clue. I did mention that Pacific Motor Sports deals specifically with BMWs and Minis and that if there had been service needed to be done they would have recommended it. I even stated that they would more than likely know due to their expertise in that line of Auto manufacturing. He said he doubted that and started throwing out his mechanics certifications. I was lost and told him I would call my mechanic and ask their opinion. It was enough for me to make my conclusion. So I'm not saying they won't uphold their obligations to other customers, but for me Firestone failed to provide the service I was initially offered. I will not bring my vehicle back to them. For me they have that dreaded aura of a scamming auto repair shop.

Horrible experience, do not take your vehicle here if you know whats good for you. My 2008 Toyota Camry wouldn't start early one morning (Starter or Alternator issue) and since I live right across the street I figured this was the best place to go. Bad idea. I get a call a couple hours later and they told me that they were "doing me a favor" and topping off my fluid levels and when they started the car all of the power steering fluid drained out. Upon further inspection, they determined my power steering pump went out and i'd need to get it fixed. How did my power steering go out all of a sudden, why were they "doing me a favor" and topping off my fluids and all I needed was an alternator? Funny thing is, I just moved from AZ and had my power steering pump replaced 6 months prior. Talked to the manager and he denied any wrong doing on their behalf. Refused to take responsibility for the issue. I will never take a car here again.

Having the worst customer service. In need of a set of tires, I walked in at about 10 am on Sunday morning, December 24, 2017. There was noone at the counter and no other customers in line to be served. After about 3 minutes waiting, I saw a female employee walking out. She ignored me and made a bee line to the customer sitting area to have a small talk with someone who was sitting there and watching television. I wasn't sure whether he was a customer or another employee. A good amount of time had passed before she finally walked to a computer on the service counter. She looked at me and mumbled, "What can I help you?" Just before I could get a word out to respond, a guy stormed in from outside and started talking to her. I rekoned that he was a mechanic on the account of his clothing. She immediately diverted her attention to him and carried on a conversation with him. She left me standing there like a fool. What can I do but walking out to save myself from being embarassed further. On the early morning of Tuesday, December 26, 2017, I bought 4 tires from Discount Tire Store in Federal Way. I received excellent customer service.

Pat and Dan told me they could not patch my tire because it had a plug already in it due to "new regulations" and "company policy". Claimed that the tire is "unrepairable" and tried to convince me to buy four new tires. Took my car to Les Schwab and they fixed it just fine. Don't waste your time.

Terrible service all around and here is why. Took my truck there for a alignment which was done, no problems there, however i also told them to lube the the pass. Front due to i replaced control arms and axle and please check and adjust tire pressure because my sensors are showing different pressures. Well they didnt lube anything until i told them that they forgot so had to wait even longer for them to do so. The service manager and mechanic both told me that they checked tire pressure which after i left found that they lied about that also and i had to stop and adjust pressures myself. So i will not be going back there or none of my family either and would not recommend this place to anyone.

i took my car here cause my plate lights did not work. my husband and i were standing outside, he was watching the guy changing the light and noticed as he was puting the car plate back in place,he droped a screw and did not bother to pick it up. i said not to worry he probably got a spare to replace it. so he parked my car and went inside to drop the key cause he was done. in the meantime my husband and i went to the car just to make sure, and could not believe our eyes, there was only one screw holding the plates. we went inside to pay and told them what had just hapenned. they called the guy and told him.. then he went straight to where he droped the screw..he knew where it was....haha its funny how they do that at their job.... to costumers,,,,i will not go back....

this place has a nice high end laser alignment machine and they are capable of doing a really good job, just make sure to double check the results and bring in the specs you want your car set to if it's a performance application. not quite a 5 star shop and they do seem to have a higher than i would like to see employee turnover rate; but it's hard to beat their lifetime alignment deal if you have a sports car and or track car that you do frequent camber/toe changes on.

A few months ago, I took my car in to have the blinker fixed. When I went to pick my car up, they explained that one of their guys accidentally broke the Ford emblem off the front of my hood as they were closing it. They assured me they'd order a new one and make it right ASAP. I never got a call. I called multiple times to check on the status and each time the person who answered the phone said they had to "check with someone else" and get back to me and then never did. After weeks and weeks of this, I FINALLY am able to get through to them and they tell me they've received the emblem. I drop my car off only to get a call that they'd ordered the wrong one and would have to order the correct one, but it should come in the next day. That was a week ago and I still haven't received a call so I'll need to follow up with them yet again. I guess if you have all the free time in the world to hound these people over their mistakes, you could take your car here. Otherwise, go elsewhere.

Crooks. Stay away from this place I went to get a flat tire repaired and they told me I had to buy two tires over $500. I consulted Honda and they said I did not need to buy two tires. Then when I asked him why the price was so high they said it included $52 and tire protection. I asked them what was that and I said no that was just an insurance against your tire something I did not ask for nor was I going to pay for . This place has an awful reputation and the only reason I went there is because my new vehicle came with fire stone tires. I left there and went to Costco and put for Michelin tires on it stay away from this place and stay away from Firestone.

Worst Shop ever, when i looked at the negative reviews, i thought it is close to home so i was hopping i might be spared from the bad service and if you think same, trust me on this one reviews are only wrong because they cant leave less than one star. I've used them to install tires i ordered online they failed to balance them even tho i got charged, after i returned they did balance tires and broke cap, and i am not even going in to the waiting time part. STAY A WAY FROM THIS PLACE! there are plenty other services that do care about customer service and do way better job.

The staff here is polite and are pretty flexible when trying to fit you in for an appointment on short notice. I've purchased tires and gotten a tire patch from this location. Their rates are pretty standard for franchise auto and tire shops, but they don't usually have any surprises. When I went in for my tire patch they took care of the job in a reasonable amount of time, and the waiting room had complementary coffee and free WiFi which made the wait an easy one.

There was engine check light ON for my car. They agreed to diagnose it for me after paying 100$. Later they said they cannot fix it and asked me to take it to dealer. When I took car to dealer, the codes were already reset. Now I don't have way to find out what's wrong with my car.

Also, they said they do not do transmission fluid changes over 100k which doesn't even make any sense. All other Firestone's in the area do. hmmmm weird. Get the lifetime alignments!!! Totally worth it to keep your car aligned every 5000-6000 miles. Pay once and get it done for free for as long as you own your vehicle (and as long as they don't need any extra parts). These guys are very friendly and good at what they do.

I had a very good experience with this place. I had already researched what tires I wanted as far as quality and price, and those were the exact tires offered. They do try to upsell the products with a Firestone warranty, which are actually pretty good offerings if you only go to Firestone. If I usually went to Firestone, many of the warranties would actually be worthwhile (the lifetime alignment, for example). I don't, though, and a simple "no thanks" from me was plenty; I didn't feel that I was being pushed to get these options. I ended up spending just under what I expected, didn't feel pressured, and got fast service. Very nice.

VERY VERY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. For someone who works in the customer service field, I know what EXCELLENT customer service is and what it looks like. They staff are rude and have absolutely HORRIBLE phone manners. I believe I only had 1 "okay" experience with them. Other than that, the staff are rude. I called and simply asked how much their oil change would cost, told them what type of oil I wanted and the make and model of my car. The guy rudely said hold on hold on I cant hear you, i have to transfer you to another phone. I said okay. he put me on hold... 5 minutes later, 7 minutes later, 10 minutes later, he still did not pick up the other end!!! HOW IN THE LIVING WORLD IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE. I transfer calls all the time, and the phone rings immediately to the other phone line. SERIOUSLY. It's not that hard to do your JOB. YOU HAVE ONE, ONE JOB PEOPLE. You are the one's who chose it and chose to work here so you need to do your job politely and efficiently.

I have had nothing but great experiences with this auto center for the past 5 years. They have serviced 3 vehicles, always done correctly the first time. I also use them for oil changes and rotate my tires at same time. They alert me to problems before they happen and don’t upsell me unnecessarily. They steal me toward sales on tires and loook for discounts coupons on services and always apply them. Best of all, they are open on weekends, which is crucial for me, as I work out of town.

I bought in my Honda Accord for an alignment at this shop. Prior to this visit, the car was lowered couple inches with a new coil over kit and had an alignment kit installed to bring the lowered car back to OEM specs. I had purchased the lifetime alignment after Paul told me about it. I loved the final alignment that they achieved on my car. The car drives great! Maintains a straight line and got rid of the steering shake that I earlier experienced at 60+ mph. At first however, the alignment was not done right. I left the car for the full day with them but the camber readings on rear tires was way off after the alignment. I drove car to drive and it was horrible. I still felt the steering shake and the car drifted towards the left even after alignment. I called the shop and told them about this problem; and their initial response was that "this is the best alignment for a lowered car" After a call and another visit to the shop, Paul asked me leave the car with them and they would try to get the alignment to OEM specs or would refund my money. The second time they delivered a great alignment. I saw the specs and i was impressed. But the real fun was driving the car. The correct alignment made a day and night difference. I am thankful to the guys at this shop, but i thought overall they could have handled this situation better.

Worst place I have ever taken my car too . I had given them a bad review before and got a call from the manager ( nice way to fake they cared ) be cause, of issues I've had with them in the past they told me I could be bring in any of my cars which in total if they would've kept my business I have a total of 4 cars for business ( their lost) my highlander had broke down so I decided to take it to them since they had attempted to fix our relationship well almost 2900$ later for 1 car and 2 trips to them all my lights turned on as soon as I hit 2 miles down the road again not counting the fact that my car was sitting in the lot for 3 days after they called and said car was fixed . I went to pick up my truck and the light were on I didn't notice until I was at the gas station down half a mile down the road. They tell me to bring it back it's not any where near closing time and they tell me they have to keep it but I see men sitting down not doing anything but talking so, ok I give them once again the benefit of the doubt , that because I had my 7 month old daughter in the car and she was cranky ! I come back car is still making the noise that I asked the front desk person if it had gone away which he said " well ma'am I'm guessing if we made it turn on any issue should be gone" I was also told the nail was in my back tire well they took it out but didn't patch . They told me we will leave your car inspection ready. "YEAH RIGHT " I wish i could give them no stars . WORST PLACE EVER .

I living in another state stop because I love the place.. The young man at the front desk was great from the start .. I called he was professional took my information and told me to come right in. I get there he's still very professional and polite I ask how long is the wait he told me give him one second I could see him open the window and talk to maybe a group of managers I'm guessing but I'm sure one is because I asked but he asked how long would it take in one of the managers give a very rude look over his shoulder snotty attitude and said a couple hours it was completely rude and I left on the spot horrible....

I took my car in to have a tire leak fixed. They charged me for a repair which slowed down the leak but didn't stop it. Took my car elsewhere and learned that Firestone failed to find a nail that was imbedded in the tire. Inspiring.

This place is the epitome of terrible service. I dropped my car off at 11 to have a suspension check. They added unnecessary stuff to my bill such as tire rotation, and tire pressure check, things I don’t need. They have yet to even touch my car and it’s 1. Meanwhile all the employees are standing around and talking while they could be working instead of charging me labor that they are not doing. Do not waste you time or money here!

I won't go back there. Took my tire and that had a really slow leak. They plugged it and when I went to leave my low pressure warning light was on again. I went back inside to inform them and they said "oh I guess is not holding air." You would think part of the process would be making sure retire was holding air. They didn't even go check it they just said I need a new tire. I'm taking my business elsewhere and I recommend you do the same.

If you are in a hurry to have your car serviced this is a decent place. However they do tend to charge a premium. And watch the bill. They put in a new radiator for us and charged us a seperate fee for a new radiator cap. But the thing is we had just bought a new radiator cap the day before, thinking that was out problem. And they were charging us twice what we paid for the cap. They did take the charge off when we pointed it out.

I really like the customer service staff at this location. Firestone runs some good deals, so check for coupons. They do everything except transmissions on vehicles over 100,000 miles. I like that my records are available at any Firestone in the country in case I have service out of town. They are not necessarily the cheapest shop, and as with any shop, I take their recommendations with a grain of salt and decide what I think is really necessary. They will take you to the lift and explain what they see if you ask.

Needed a wheel alignment and Firestone is always availble for me even when they're fully booked. They were booked today but they welcomed me to bring my car anyway and they took care of it between appointments. That was fine with me since every other nearby place was booked for the next two days. Great service as well and Wi-Fi availble while you wait.

I took my van in to this location for an alignment which they told me they could not due do to bad parts so I replaced the parts. After returning they not only again said they could not align it but adjusted it to the point that it drove terribly and destroyed my tires. I took my van to Goodyear and to no surprise the van was aligned. Obviously the techs at Firestone are either thieves or idiots either way I will never use them again.

Had a terrible time at this place. The manager guy lied to our face. We pulled in to get a change of tire, they said it is going to take hour and half so go get lunch or something and your car will be ready when you come back. We came back two hours later and they were JUST starting to pull our car on the lift. When we asked why did they give us incorrect time, the manager rudely asked us to take our car out of the shop and go get work done somewhere else. He didn’t care about good customer service at all. Long story short, If this was last car workshop on the earth I would still not go there.

The audacity of these mounterbanks is baffling. My mother took her vehicle there because of a coolent leak. Charged her $1,400 for what they said she needed a new radiator. I believe they were being fallacious, in an attempts to up charge my mother. After retrieving the vehicle, we only made it a few miles until the engine over heated and broke down. We called back and they were gracious enough to call a tow truck. However it was near closing time and a accident on the highway, we had to firmly verbalized that they be their for pick up (or our vehicle would end up in the tow lot with us uncertain if Firestone would deal with it). Getting there the assist manager was impatient, provided little resolution and a lack of empathy. My mother paid a lot for the business and required a correction of their mistake, then they treat her like a burden? The assistant manager said they would have it fixed the next day... They never called, again treating her like a burden. Could we imgaine it was a simple mistake? Yes, but they provided further evidence of their prideful stance as sophist. They took days to repair my mother's car and told my mom that she broke the hood of the car. We drove the car a few miles before it over heated. It OVER HEATED, of course we are not going to open the hood, especially since you were going tow to the vehicle. Then they we're impudent enough to said the tow truck driver did it. They hired the tow truck driver. Much evidence was provided about the business with regards to their customer service, ethics, and work. I leave it the reader to contemplate if this place is worth investing.

Who knew that I was putting myself in danger! Went here for a checkup after a long road trip. First of all, a routine checkup should not take 6 hours with an appointment. When trying to call for a status update I would be placed on hold for almost 20 minutes each time. I was quoted for almost $3000 worth of repairs. Only some of which I had noticed symptoms of. None of this is the worst of it though. The technician forgot to replace the air filter cover! My fiancé and could have been seriously injured in a wreck because of their forgetfulness! My car stalled in an intersection because of the lack of a cover on my air filter. We were fortunate I could restart the car quickly enough and that all the other cars on the road were able to see us and stop. I'm never going back to this Firestone and I wouldn't recommend anyone else to, for your own safety and the safety of your loved ones.

So, I call at about 5 mins to closing time and ask if they have the tires I need and an appointment. I explain I am a store owner of a new store about 45 mins away from my home. While I can drive home on the doughnut, I can't be driving back and forth. They tell me that they do have the tires that fit my car, but no appointment the next day. I thank him, explain that I have to have this done, and setting an appointment in a few days will be an issue. He pauses, and asks if I can be there the next morning, right at opening. He can squeeze me in. I show up, he does. I am in and out in about an hour with new tires. Fast Forward about a week. I start to have some issues with one of my new tires with a slow leak. I bring it in (again, right as they open). He apologizes for my issues, and promptly gets the car in. Sure enough, the valve stem was corroded. He showed me the part. (I had a similar issue with the other side right after I bought the car, so I could see what I was looking at.) He found a replacement, and got me on my way in about 1/2 hour. I see some pretty bad reviews. I am only one guy, but I can say I will be going back. Dan took great care of me. He was on top of things and a nice guy to boot. Thanks!

Been here twice in the last week and have learned one thing: If they give you a time estimate, multiply it by at least 3. Doesn't matter if your drop off or are waiting in store. Doesn't matter if you have an appointment. They will stall you by saying your car is next up or it's raised up now so should be done "soon." Soon today means 4 hours and counting. Similar situation last week. Won't be returning here. The additional issues that continually are found on later checks and the lack of consideration for the time of customers make me willing to drive an extra 10-15 minutes to avoid this Firestone location.

Maybe it was a bad day today. I normally take my vehicle here and everything goes well. Last few times though there have been issues. Had an appointment today at 8am to do an oil change. Their hours state they open up at 7am. I got there at 750am and left at 820am without speaking to a single service tech because they were closed. No sign as to why and no email/phone call to let me know they were going to be closed. What's the point in making an appointment if no one will be there. Wasted fuel and time off of work.

I was very upset that I'd taken my 2004 Honda Civic in for an issue in which my car would jolt and buck when I had it over 55 mph. The attendant there was told what the issue was but did not properly notate the issue and I ended up leaving the garage $440 dollars later with the very problem that brought me there in the first place. Fortunately, Jimmy took care of me, admitted the mistake by his company (even though another mechanic made the initial repairs) and did another $300 worth of work for free. I really appreciate this as Firestone would have likely lost 18 years of faithful patronage by me had Jimmy not been so forthright and professional. He told me repeatedly he was not a people person. Perhaps, but the turned a $440 mistake into great free word-of-mouth advertising and my commitment to stay with this brand.

So I bought 4 tires about 2 mo ago I recently ran over a nail and needed only 1 tire changed the representative that worked there Dan refused to work on my car unless I bought 2 back tires because they were "bald" FORCING me to buy 2 tires that were not needed. I would've just gone to a different tire shop but it would've cost me more money for the tow. I will NEVER come back here again. This isn't the 1st bad experience that I've had here last year when I went in for a tire change they caught my starter on fire in my Lexus and didn't even fix my tire. Buyer beware save yourself the trouble just go somewhere else if I can save 1 person from going through the headache I've gone through this review will be worth it. If I could give 0 stars that's what they really deserve.

I called in advance to ask if they would be able to do an alignment on my truck. I was assured that it would fit in the garage so I made an appointment. I show up to my appointment, hand them my keys, and five minutes lady the mechanic says, "Your truck won't fit in our garage and we can't work on it. We tried pushing it in to make it fit and it wouldn't." I knew this was a blatant lie because I was sitting in the waiting area watching my truck. The mechanic walked out to it, opened the door, checked the VIN on the door frame, then came in to tell me. It appeared as if they just didn't want to deal with my truck today. I will not be returning to this Firestone again. The only good thing that happened was that I was given the information for a shop that would do an alignment for my truck (at a lower cost as well).

I popped two tires while driving and my friend and I came here to fix it. I put the car on the curb and was afraid of other issues like CV joints, tie rods, serpentine belt etc. from the impact of the hit. Since I don't know an awful lot about cars I had to trust them to not do what happens 90% of the time when you go into the shop which is upsale problems. I am happy with my experience and that they were able to complete the job and make the car drivable in such a short amount of time.

Lifetime Alignment does come with cost. The technician adjusted the tie rod end until it is damaged (common sense is to spray lubrication like WD40 before doing anything in the sub zero cold weather). Cost out of customer pocket: $460 for 1 tie rod end.

Told the water pump was leaking, had to be replaced along with timing belt for $2143, but they'd been replaced a few weeks earlier (for $1200), there was no fluid on the ground anywhere I parked it, and the radiator was chock full when I checked it just before I took it in. I called firestone at 11:30am. I needed a specific tired for my car and they said they would place the order now. I asked if it was guaranteed that I would get the tire by this afternoon and they could put it on. Victoria at firestone confirmed and said yes they get the orders in at 3/4 and can GUARANTEE that it will be here. I never received a call so I figured I would come in around 3:45. I was told that the tire never came in. And she said can you just come in tomorrow. I was about 45 min from my house and drove around for 4 hours waiting for this tire with my two year old. I can't speak for how the other Firestone are. But I have been using this one since 2005. Dan the general manager sets a tone of honesty and professionalism. The work has always been prompt and accurate. The one time there was a mistake they quickly fixed it and made things right. Hard to find a place where you aren't ripped off on car repairs. This place however has been great to me. Only four stars because though they call themselves complete auto care they don't do the complete car. More complicated systems like some electrical and transmissions (beyond routine maintenance) must go to a separate shop. But they always hav recommendations.

I made an appointment to have the motor in my power window replaced. They inspected the car and said that was the problem. When I dropped the car off at 9:30 am, I was told they will be done by 4 or 5 that same day. I thought that was odd since it is not a big job. I called them at 4:30 since I heard nothing and they told me the completion time would be 6. I asked what happened since I was told a different time. They said there were other cars dropped off from the night before. I asked if the car was currently being worked on and they said no. I asked for clarity if the car would be ready at 6 and they said yes. I showed up at 6:15 and they didn't even start yet. They said their completion time is now 7 and that was what they originally told me in the morning. They had me walk over and talk to the mechanic who told me they ordered the wrong part and he was waiting for that. Funny how no one mentioned that earlier. He said it would take him about 30 minutes to finish. I have waited the entire day to get my car back and they didn't even have the decency to let me know they needed more time. I do not ever want to come back to this place.

Took our car in for routine oil change. They TURNED US AWAY and said the oil was full and looked fine. Took it in for a second opinion at an actual mechanic and he informed us the car had NO OIL in it, and that we were lucky to have an engine. DO NOT RECOMMEND... I declined their services because they wanted way too much!! But, I asked them to keep the bulbs out that needed replacing. When I inspected my car (after I drove away), I realized my trunk wasn't closed. They did not screw bolts back in, fluid containers were loose and not put back, electrical parts were disconnected, they messed up the front trim of my headlights, there were screws missing under my hood, they broke a latch, PLUS, they took out the wrong bulbs!!!! They clearly did not know what they were doing. Horrible experience.

I have always had the worst experience here, whether it be with my dad, my step dad or my self. Today was the absolute worst time I’ve ever been in here. My appointment was at 8am, my car didn’t get into the back until 9:45. I had told him I’d be waiting here and then explained I was running to the store and back. When I came back he still hadn’t taken the car back for all new tires and an oil change. I asked why and he explained because he thought I was wanting to leave completely. I wouldn’t have sat for an hour in the lobby if I was leaving completely. I then was told it was going to be an hour and a half it’s been almost two and a half hours. He was blatantly rude to every woman who walked in there or called him and was exceptionally nice to all the men. He was short and rude towards me. And he was gone for 35 minutes with no one up front. He took a ton of personal calls while customers were waiting. He kept telling customers he’d be right with them then was on his personal phone call for 25 minutes. Worst firestone ever.

Her explanation was the tires had to much wear, checked the glove box and found tires had about 10K miles on them. Took it to Les Schwab, they had it fixed in 15 minutes. Would never go here, their first instinct is to sell you a new tire instead of fixing a flat.

Arrived to my 11 am pre scheduled, oil change appointment at the W11th location and was met with very short, unfriendly, and mater-of-fact customer service. When asked how long the oil change would take I received a ("why do they always ask/ as long as it takes" attitude) answer of."45-60 min". Agreeing to the time I left for a walk. About 20 minutes later my vehicle was still sitting in the same spot I had left it. While two people were standing next to each other talking, one lazily hanging on a computer with his hand on his chin, and another rolling a cart to the other far side of the garage. Nobody working on a single car (3 we're in the air/same vehicles as when I first arrived) Why they even set appointments up at this firestone makes no sense to me at this point. I then waited another 20 minutes before they brought my vehicle into the garage. It still took until 12:20pm for me to see the keys brought to their front desk. And another 5-10 minutes to be called up to pay them. Not to mention the multiple customers I saw coming up to the desk (with said lazy looking computer using employee at front desk) waiting patiently. To be asked if they needed any assistance or to have questions answered. Took 5-10 minutes for another associate to enter from the garage and ask if they needed assistance. Not sure what's the deal but the customer service here reeks of mal practice and bad training. If this is how Firestone works then most definitely will not be going back to one, anywhere if I can help it. Tho they did their job and because my vehicle make and model it was cheap with the online coupon. I still would recommend you not come here if you can help it. Discount tires will be more then happy to assist you with the same to BETTER quality tires. With a smile. And ANY WHERE ELSE will help you, whole heartedly better then here with other vehicle problems. Maybe Jackson's garage for a local shout out. Even Valvoline oil change is just as inexpensive if not cheaper at times. Plus waaaaaaaaaaaaay more committed to there costomers and their important time. (Stick to their declared timeline) But point being very offended and disappointed by my appointment to the firestone. Don't recommend it.

I had an issue with the front end of my car making noises when I used the brakes and took it here to get it checked. They never did find anything wrong with the front end, I suspect it is an issue with the balljoints, tie rod, or shocks. Instead they said that my rear drum brakes needed to be completely replaced and that they were too worn down to machine. They also said that my brake fluid needing exchanged and it would be an extra $112.49 for that alone. The total estimate they gave me for the job was $321.66. This price seemed high so I shopped around and found that another garage would do the same work for $265. This alone was not a huge deal, but in the effort to save money I went to the other garage.They called me after looking at the car for a few minutes and said there was very little wear on the drums and that the brake shoes were still very new. (I recently inherited the car and did not know when the brakes were worked on last.) This other garage (Exhaust Specialties in Tualatin - nice folks!) did not charge me a cent!!! Firestone has done this sort of up-sell to me in the past, and so did Expert Tire before they were bought out by Firestone. They give good deals on the oil changes and maybe tires, but watch out for the up-sell! They will shake their head in all sincerity and tell you that "you oughta get this fixed in order to be safe..." DON'T FALL FOR THE SCAM

Would not EVER go back to any of the Richmond area Firestone locations. Almost every repair in the last year had to be taken back within a day to a week. April 2017: Had two tires replaced. Dropped off the car before noon. They said no problem it would be done in the afternoon. They called me 1 minute before closing saying that the car was done and they are now closed. I had to uber there the next morning to get the car. Fast forward to Nov 2017. Sadly one of the tires had a leak. I took the tire off and found the leak to be on the bead (where the rim meets the tire). I had road hazard, so I had to bring the tire over for a free repair. Dropped just the wheel off before 11am. Called at 3:30pm. The person on the phone was confused and obviously did not know I dropped the tire off. After my April experience I drove over at 4:30pm. They still did not look at the tire. Then they said the tire had a gash in it (it did not). They showed me the tire and "forgot" it was the other tire that was dropped off that day. The tire still had the soap on it and was still leaking. They applied an excessive amount of bead sealant on the tire and gave it to me at 5:15pm. What a joke. I diagnosed the issue and they did not do anything all day and kept forgetting about my tire even after a follow up call by me.

They lied to me and sold me a lifetime alignment package promising they will adjust my coil overs height if needed in 6 months, then when 4-6 months came up I asked if they would raise it up an inch, they said they don't touch aftermarket parts... Even though they promised it. After my car was serviced here it didn't 'feel right' something was wrong, I found out my air filter was installed incorrectly.. it doesn't get easier than an air filter.. The desk person was very aggressive and condescending when I asked if they could have forgot to tighten the air filter. Was a lifetime customer. I'll never touch a Firestone again.

Called before I visited, Dan, was so rude over the phone I decided that maybe a face to face encounter would be different so I drove down. I had questions about my 70,000 mile warranty on my tires I paid a lot of money for. Dan wouldn’t even get out of his chair to visually inspect my tires on the vehicle parked 30 feet away. Then his buddy walked in the door and they decided to tag team me with shenanigans about how tires don’t come with warranties. They continued to tell me “you need to bring the car in so we can look at it.” I was like “it’s right there!” This was all going down about 1 hour and 40 minutes before closing time. All the lift bays were empty, there was not a soul in the store except for Dan. I have never been treated with such disrespect. I’m regretting purchasing any goods/services from this establishment. If I owned this business I’d fire the guy. So I promptly drove home and got on Firestone’s website and found the warranty information I needed, I will likely drive my unsafe vehicle to Marysville to see if the customer service there is better. I hear through other reviews people have had better luck down there. I’ve also read a lot about dan in these reviews...

Here's a photo of the hole they punctured in my daughter's brake line so they could charge an additional $350 after charging $550 for replacing a serpentine belt and tensioner arm. Wish I could choose a negative star. We purchased tire trucks from the Fort Leavenworth location and have lifetime service. Having a bit of engine service seemed convenient, but every time we have not been happy with the quality. Can't get much worse than mechanics actually breaking parts.

Newest Review: Back to 5 stars... I had the one incident I wrote about below. Today I came in just for an oil change. I had an appointment today, and with one person calling in sick today they told me about the wait and the situation. I'm fine with waiting, it's just the way it is with oil changes sometimes. They said they would get me in as soon as possible. However, after being treated very friendly it reminded me of all the other times I came in and felt treated very well, down to earth and not shady at all. When I went to look up the store hours on Google Maps and saw the reviews were so low, I thought I should go and leave a positive review as many times people don't ever say anything unless it's a complaint. I found my old review, didn't remember doing it... It just takes that one time to throw things off with a review. I notice a response to one of the negative reviews from an owner he said he would check into it and thought that was awesome! I'm leaving this updated review because like I said, people tend to not say anything when the service is above expectations or as expected, but when it's off, as it can be every now and again as we're only human, one employee can ruin the reputation for the whole store even if the employee is no longer there. Previous Review: I have been happy every time (many times 4-5 star rating) I have been to this location. Okay, just changed my status from 5 stars to 3. I was on hold with them, not for too long, he picked up the phone and said how are you doing can I help you I'm not taking any more appointments today. I asked not even for a dead battery. He said no! 3 hours before they close and they can't do a stupid battery check and change. My opinion is he could have said that in the first place instead of putting me on hold for 4 minutes. And he sounded a bit rude. I'm going to Les Schwab. He was nice! And they only have two more hours to close and said they can test the battery and change it out and everything.

Thank you for asking. 1) Arriving at 0655 hrs per recommendation during a pre-visit phone call due to the many service items to be addressed. AND, I would be required to stay and wait for the duration by necessity and choice, no other means to drop off. 2) Met with a warm, "I already know you and I'm here to solve any problems," attitude. A key asset in that I was honestly listened to with each item of concern well addressed. 3) Continuous updates on vehicle status, discoveries both expected and unexpected, options presented, evaluations discussed, choices made, correct action taken. As it should be versus the usual, "YOU HAVE TO replace and a list of items," no explanation or reason why, just do it attitude. My main reason for using Firestone exclusively since 1979. 4) Change over of Service Writer, very smooth, full exchange of situation, status, progress and realistic ETD the vehicle shall be ready. Overall atmosphere of the operation very stress free, service mentality (an attribute in humans which can not be taught but is innate, associates must have it to work successfully. Again, this cannot be taught.) 5) Considering the volume of service items initially, plus discovered during inspections; all work successfully completed and I left the store at 1120 hrs. 6) What was my bill? Glad you asked! Initially, just shy of $500; however, after a good discussion with my Service Writer, Victoria, I took unusual financial positive action, reversed the charges on my charge card, Victoria assisted me in immediately obtaining a new Firestone charge account card, including generous credit line. 7) At the conclusion of business with Victoria, my total bill was reduced immediately by the simple action of being offered an alternative option for payment under highly acceptable terms. I think this was a WIN-WIN-WIN-WIN situation. Not sure as I lost count of the WINs. :<) Was this an experience which exceeded my expectations? Absolutely NOT! Reviewing this entire experience, I would comfortably share with any and everyone how exceptionally "OUTSTANDING" every aspect of service was so well presented, explained, confirmed, addressed successfully and very well. Having just moved to this area from the other side of town, I can confidently say I have found a new "Home" Firestone service center for my 16 year old Toyota Camry XLE with approximately 66,000 original miles. At this rate I firmly believe I shall reach the gold standard of 100,000 miles with my continued preventive maintenance and coupons. GREAT JOB EVERYONE INVOLVED!!

Terrible experience here. They seem to do everything they can to get out of doing any work. Their technicians and staff are condescending and dishonest. It's too bad because it's the closest tire shop, but I would drive across town to go anywhere else. I suggest you take your car somewhere else unless you're looking for a bad experience.

DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!! My experience with this company was very TERRIBLE!! I took my car to get the water pump replaced and they recommended that I also had to change the timing belt. I was charged $1,400. When I got my car back, the motor was leaking oil. They didn’t take any responsibility for that. Which in the first place was perfectly fine before I took it to them. We followed up with an investigation and they refused to cooperate. The car was in my parking lot for 15 days, I couldn’t move my car at all because all the oil from the motor had been drained completely. They denied any responsibility. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!!!! This is now in the hands of our attorneys!!

Rip-Off! Just picked up my my truck in for an oil change. Was told my brake lights didn’t work and bulb change didn’t fix it so a $100 diagnostic was needed. I said, “No thanks,” inspect it myself after paying for the oil change. I asked a tow truck driver in the Firestone parking lot if they worked and he said yes they worked. I took a video 10 minutes later to prove they work. Never experience such a rip off attempt, and false check-up over the phone after a scheduled drop-off. Do not recommend this garage!

I skidded into this Firestone at 4:45 PM on a Sunday night with a flat tire. I live in Portland, Oregon. Not only did the amazing crew ALL stay an hour after they closed to get me back on the road, they were friendly, kind, welcoming, gave me chips and soda AND a good deal on the repair. I would have paid a small fortune to get home that night, but they were more than fair. I LOVE these people. If I lived anywhere near Belligham, they would have all my auto repair and tire business. I went here to have a nail removed from my tire (I could see it). After I waited patiently for about 10 minutes, someone who couldn't stop clicking his ink pen over and over and over again came outside to look at the tire. He said yeah we can fix that but it going to be about a 2 to 3 hour wait. I didn't say another word as I jumped in my car and went down the street to a REAL tire shop.

All experience has been positive -- they're timely for appointments, document their work fully and work efficiently. We tend to keep our cars for a long time and so purchase lifetime alignment warranties whenever we buy a car, and think they are one of the best automotive bargains around.

Negative 5 stars if possible. This place has got to be the biggest joke in the state of Washington the staff is very limited in knowledge about what's going on in their shop. They don't know how to make appointments and stay true to them let alone work on a vehicle. The stupidity amazes me if you value your time and vehicle I'd recommend you look for another repair facility one that has the capability of using something called communication. Fire Stone you just lost a customer and any possible friend or family your staff is very unprofessional and simply does not care about the customers time or concerns.

After several visits I come to find out these guys are scammers. You don't charge outrageous prices for parts you can get locally a fraction of the price. They charge me for stuff they broke on my vehicle and didn't fix my issue but covered it up. They caused a issue with my vehicle that I did not come with and told me, "sorry our master tech can't even figure it out" and they caused the issue. Oh, and kept my car over night.....I had to call them because I was not important. I say all that to say Firestone on Rainier will over charge you for parts you don't need and "half do" the job. The only positive....stick to tires and changing flats.

I came here to have a tire repaired from a bolt I drove over in the road. The staff here was very thorough and helpful. The manager verified my road hazard coverage and let me know that the non-locking lug bolts were not in stock, and it would be faster for me to chase then down myself than to wait for their parts delivery. By the time I got back from the dealership down the road, they had the flat tire repaired and were ready to finish the job. I'm happy that they were able to squeeze my repair into their work queue on a busy Saturday afternoon.

I want to give a great big thank you to the service of Mr Taylor. I had a flat tire when I came out of the mall, I didn't have an appointment but he took my car in with a smile. I was with my daughter and we were hungry so he told us that we could walk to a nearby restaurant and not worry about my car at all. He would take care of it. It was such a relief. We had dinner, came back to my tire being repaired so that we could drive home, which is an hour away. He saved me from having to have my car towed , getting a rental car, and hours of frustration. I was very disappointed with the service at this location. I went in there to buy a set of new tires. I had no appointment because it was an emergency. They told me it would take about 2 hours so I went home. I came back after 4 hours and they still were not done putting my new tires on. Don't tell me 2 hours and take 4 and a half hours! DO NOT TRUST THEM Bottom line is they have absolutely no clue what they are doing. I have been to firestone locations around the country and this location has made me look elsewhere for my auto repair. My girlfriend and I are moving across the country and asked them to do several repairs on her vehicle totaling to about $700. This included replacing a radiator that was overheating after running a diagnostic on the car. They said we were good to go for a 3500 mile trip. Fast forward 2 days into our trip and we are stuck on the side of the road in Las Vegas rush hour traffic. After managing to get to a nearby auto repair shop we learn that they did not replace the lower radiator hoses, they did not replace the radiator cap, and that the thermostat was faulty. All of this on a repair made less than a month ago by this location. And this happening to a car that was given the thumbs up by this location to travel across the country which was explicitly explained to them. Sound like a place you want to trust? I hope not.

I've also had brakes replaced and bearings replaced and today they fixed a very annoying squeak by adjusting and lubricating my emergency brake. That was after a local mechanic told me it was because my brakes needed to warm up in the cold. (Yes, weird explanation) I'll continue to take my truck to Firestone.

Needed a flat repaired, i dropped off at 11am, told it would be ready in 1.5 hrs. After 4hrs, called to see if ready, told yes they were finishing up. Arrived 20 mins later, told it was almost ready. 15 mins later, went inside and told it would be another 15 mins. Ended up leaving, came back and was ignored by front desk staff. When asked if ready, was told yes and she expected me to carry it out by myself. Rude staff and unreliable.

I would not go back. To be fair, my tire, that was under warrantee, had a problem that was difficult to diagnose. However the service I received at the counter was condescending and unhelpful. Because I did not get the help I needed, I went to the tire center at Costco and they were able to find the problem, refused to charge me, and I drove off to another Firestone dealer in Maryville to have the problem resolved. A long drive but well worth the absence of attitude that exists at the Firestone in Bellingham.

Very bad experience with the store in Rainier ave in renton definitely not coming back I went on Tuesday to get alignment done for my truck they came outside and checked the car and scheduled me for Sunday 12:00 PM I showed up early (11:15 am) and was patiently waiting until 1:15 PM when the technician came to take my truck in , my truck has auto folding mirrors and the tech pulled the mirror manually in such aggressive way (dude come on seriously that's how you treat your customers cars) then I immediately ran to him and explained it was simply just pressing one button to get the mirrors open , then it took him about another 15 minutes to find out that my truck is slightly longer than his alignment machine and told me that he can not do it , then we back to the person who was in charge and just told me the same thing and never apologized for wasting my time or anything, worst customer service ever

I frequently had my truck serviced at Firestone on W. 11th during the 3 years I lived in Eugene. The Firestone staff was always prompt, professional, and reliable. Recently, I had my belts and hoses replaced before a cross-country trip. When my A/C belt popped off a week later, Marty immediately agreed to reimburse the cost and labor for a new A/C belt. Within a week, I received a refund check in the mail! Thank you for the consistently great service!

I appreciated that they squeezed me in to get my tires changed that morning since when I booked my appointment after hours they actually already had one at that time. This was especially nice considering my car is an AWD which means I had to replace all four tires. I also appreciate the time the guy behind the counter (Jason I think) put in to help me choose the right budget-friendly tire for my vehicle and explaining the perks of my purchase at checkout (most owners of my car buy the tire I got and they not only prorate if I have an issue again and have to replace the tires, but they will rotate tires every 3k miles for free for life of the tire). My only real issue, and it was minor but upsetting none the less, was that I have a brand new (used, but a one owner, accident free, and well kept) car and the gas lever was broken when I got inside. I don't know why they would even have needed to mess with that for an alignment and tire change, and while I was able to fix it, it was still upsetting. Otherwise, it was a good experience and I do recommend it.

This location is terrible. They do not want your business. They are habitually under staffed (or so they say), and never seem to have time to help or room for appointments, which Is weird because their bays are almost always empty with people just walking around talking or horsing around. They dont answers questions, no matter how simple. And when all of that is said and done, if you want to make an appt, they try to make it for several days later, in hopes that you'll just go somewhere else, even just for ONE unpredictable flat tire repair. This location is lazy and useless. It is a complete waste of your time, do not stop here, find a different location. I will never attempt to use this location again, and Firestone is close to losing my business all together if they don't get a grip on their stores. Raise your standards, Firestone.

I had an appointment for an inspection and new tires. I was told the rear rotor was stuck and would need to be replaced. I let him know I'd have to bring it in later. The part broke while they were putting things back together. Also the person did not order the tires I wanted. They gave me a higher grade tire, and replaced the part that broke without charging me. They went above and beyond to make things right. Plus the upgraded tires came with a $100 visa card reward! Bonus!

I felt like I was robbed by these guys. An absolute RIP OFF. They charged $500 to change the brakes on one axle. Naturally, they used the "you MUST replace your rotors" scam. The thief on the phone said it looked like the rotors had been turned a couple of times already. I mentioned that I thought they were brand new one year ago. He insisted that they were not new. When I got home I dug out the old paperwork that showed I was right. The rotors were only 1 year old and had NEVER been turned before. He could have easily turned them but decided to steal from me and put new ones on because they could charge more. I will NEVER EVER go to this place again. I understant that honest auto repair shops are rare and this place is no exception to that rule. I suggest that NOBODY EVER go to this place because they are so dishonest. Old man Firestone is turning over in his grave at how dishonest these people are.

Took my car to Schwabs a week before and they said my tires were good and I had another couple thousand miles on them. Took off from there and the wheel was still shaking! I took it to Firestone and in less than an hour they told me my tire is separated and it need replaced. They also let me know that it needed an alignment. They completed the work and now its driving like new.

Avoid Firestone Complete Auto Care at All Costs Today, I decided to do a review of Firestone Complete Auto Care, which bills itself as full-service vehicle maintenance and car repair shop. However, much to my chagrin, it turned out being a nightmare, reminiscent of a Stephen King movie. I live in Richmond, VA, a mid-size southern city, with a twinge of Yankee elitism. Like clockwork, every May I take my car to an Auto Repair Shop for a safety inspection. For the last two years, I have taken my vehicle to Firestone Complete Auto Care located at 4910 W Broad St. Richmond, VA 23230. I usually deal with a high level of incompetence and rudeness when I visit, but since it is 3 blocks from my house, I just deal with it. However, when I visited on 4/12/2019, they took their poor customer service to a whole new level. The afternoon before, my car was hard to steer, my check engine light came on, and upon further inspection under the hood, I noticed that my drive train belt was partially torn. The next morning, I called Firestone and told them that my car’s drive train belt needed to be replaced, and it needed a safety inspection. The manager told me to drop it off, and they would take care of it. I dropped it off around 7:10 am. I asked how long it would take, and he said I would have my car back by that afternoon. Fast forward to 4:00 pm on 4/12/2019 and I received a phone call from the manager stating that they could not fix the car, as there was an oil leak that needed to be fixed by the dealer. Fine, no worries, things happen. However, you originally told me that the work would be done by closing and now you are telling me that you can’t repair it? The Firestone Complete Auto Repair website clearly states that they do a complete engine repair so you would think that fixing an oil leak would be a walk in the park; right? Wrong! Again, no worries. Since I only live 3 blocks away, I told him that I was heading that way to pick up my car and to discuss why they couldn’t fix it. I arrived at the shop at around 4:15 pm and the manager was busy in the back. I was first in line, but after he emerged, he ignored me and helped the person who was in the queue behind me, even though she acknowledged that I was first in line. I waited 45 minutes, and it's like he disappeared. I asked another customer service representative to help me, and once they looked up my account, there were limited notes to go by. The only thing that the manager noted on my account is that “The customer has an oil leak that needs to be fixed by the dealer.” I ended up waiting another 30 minutes and finally I left, with some parting words that chided them for their poor customer service and lack of human decency. It is as though they did not care how much they inconvenienced their customers. I don’t know what type of training Firestone employees receive but let me say that it is elementary, to say the least. They know nothing about customer service, task management, etiquette, etc. If you are looking for a place to have your car repaired, avoid Firestone as though your life depended on it. If you don’t, you will leave there feeling like you have been violated and made to feel like you are less than a human being. If you don’t believe me, check out their customer reviews on Yelp; they have an average review of 2.5 stars out of 5. Yikes! ***Update*** I took my car to the dealer and it turns out that the only thing that it needed was an O-ring and a new oil cap. Firestone couldn't even figure that out. Told me it looked like $3000 to $4000 worth of damage. Are you kidding me. Laughed all the way home.

Called at 7.05 am spoke with SAM set up an appointment for 11-12 pm, arrived at 11.30am and the two ladies on front desk told me that was going to take 4 hours for one tire, I asked to talk to SAM and he came from the back and the only think he said it was : "You did not say you were going to wait" and he left. The two Girls on the front desk were very polite but there is no shuttle or anything, I end up getting an uber and left home. Around 4 pm I got a call telling me that my vehicle was too high and unable to work on it. Waste my time

We had to come back twice before they found a leakage in the radiator and after putting in 3 light bulbs they understood that there was something else wrong with my brake light. I had to buy a part for my brake light myself because they said there wasn't one in Eugene. I didn't want to go back to Firestone for a third time, that's why I wanted to find one myself. The first store I called in Eugene had the part. I expected more customer service. At least they didn't let me pay for fixing the brake light.

As a former auto shop assistant manager, I cannot recommend this shop highly enough for honest and ethical service in the Beaverton area. I took my vehicle to Firestone for them to diagnose what problems had been created by another shop I had had work done at. It was very apparent when I first walked in that this was a professional automotive shop unlike the Goodyear shop from where I just brought my car. I explained my situation with the other shop and the service writer quoted me a diagnostic price. Being that I didn't have an appointment the service writer informed me that it would probably be the day after tomorrow before they could look at it. I agreed and requested a ride back to pick up my U-Haul Van at the other shop. I also asked if it was possible to have my car put inside the shop. Even with the fact that it was closing time, both of my requests were honored with no hassle whatsoever. Expecting not to hear anything from them until the following day I was surprised to receive a call the very next day outlining what they had discovered about my car. Because of the problems created by Good Neighbor Tire of Beaverton, Dan informed me that they could not continue with the diagnostic and recommended that I take the vehicle to the dealer. He also informed me that because of this there would be no charge. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle I asked to speak with the technician who had performed the diagnostic. He was immediately brought up front and talked with me at length regarding what he had discovered. Being a former smog technician and shop assistant manager for 10 years for Accutune and Brake in California, we were held to these kind of standards by the law. Since moving here from California I discovered that Oregon has much more relaxed, almost non-existent, Auto Repair laws. However, this shop exceeded even California standards by practicing simple good business ethics. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for fair and honest automotive repairs in the Beaverton area. Thank you to everyone at Firestone!

When I checked in, I should have been told that other appointments would be taken care of first. My car was (finally) brought in the deck at 2:30 p.m., but the technician did not touch it until I politely asked him whether my car would be fixed. In fact, the job on my car was so simple, just fixing a flat tire, total $35.00 value. You don't need to repeat my mistake. I should have avoided this place. This place will not care your time.

Said i needed new rotors, quoted me $400 in parts alone to replace just my FRONT rotors and pads. Said my rotors were totally done. Ordered good new rotors and pads for $100 and when they get here, they're the exact same thickness within a 10th of a milimeter. Checked and my rotors aren't even near the minimum thickness, they're near max. Also they recharged my AC system for $300 and it made no difference, it didn't need it. And they split my engine undergaurd. Paul the manager is a good guy who really went out of his way to help my girlfriend. He is clearly a good man and mechanic trying to change the company. But I question this organization, their honesty, their business practice, and their insane part markup. I would be surprised if they didn't have a bonus structure in place encouraging dishonest behavior, similar to Wells Fargo.

The employees here are friendly and energetic until the sales receipt is signed. Then they are the worst. My brand new tire was flat every morning for three days before they could get me in to fix. Then tried blaming it on my 4,6 and 9 yr old boys...said that they were letting air out of tire....even though after resealing it I never had the problem again...then 9 months later I had to get brakes done to find out it was going to be an extra $60 because they overtightened my lug nut and I had to replace the wheel stud because of it. Called corporate who supposedly filed complaint with store manager who was supposed to call and make this right and never did. DON'T GO HERE! I would definitely recommend Les Schwab or Discount any day over these people at Firestone.

I had an appointment for my tires to be replaced at 11 am today. I waited for two and a half hours at the Starbucks across the street and then I called to check and see about the progress. Evidently they lost the key and paperwork and forgot about my car so they'll call me in an hour. I'm stuck waiting even longer and now it's been three hours. They better be installed correctly after all this wasted time and carelessness. I will not use Firestone again. Update. Now it's been four and a half hours and my car is still not done. I was just told they will not charge me for the installation of the tires. This is the reason I changed from one to three stars. I didn't ask for the compensation; it was offered so I accept their form of apology and compensation. I will update later if the installation is less than correct.

My wife and I come to Richmond to visit our daughter and her husband. We were staying at a nearby hotel when we discovered a flat tire on the morning of our departure. We called AAA, got a temporary fix and went to one of the few tire places open on a Sunday. We spoke to Daniel at the Firestone location at 9am (when they opened) and he made sure they had the tire we needed. We came in and they fit us in immediately and they did everything right. While waiting, somebody came in and asked for services (Firestone could not do it at his convenience) and the lovely woman at the front desk made a call on his behalf to another tire vendor to see if he could be accommodated. To me that is the ultimate customer service. I love this place!!! HIGHLY recommended!

They seem to be dishonest and really take you for all they can. We’ve had to take/tow vehicles back for the same problem more than once. I also believe that I paid for a rotor service that they never actually did. Spent something like $3000 on a vehicle for repairs and the issues were still not solved that should have been. I’m also pretty positive they do t test drive after repairs or they would have noticed things were still not fixed properly. I do not recommend them to anyone. Nice people though!

Firestone was dishonest in their repairs. I inherited a car that immediately died. I took it to Firestone because it was nearby, and was informed it was an alternator problem. I explained to the salesman that I only wanted to fix the alternator if there were no other problems with the car. Perhaps providing an incentive for a sale was my mistake. The salesman assured me that the car wasn't just fine, but was in surprisingly good shape for it's age, and that the brakes were specifically fine. Based on his assurances, I paid $450 for a repair. Much to my surprise, when I brought it in a week later for a state inspection, I was told there were $1900 more worth of problems with the car --including the brakes. Either the fully qualified mechanics who fixed my car the first time were unable to recognize a simple brake problem, or they just didn't do the inspection they twice told me they had. When I asked Derreck, the salesman assisting me, what I was supposed to do, he suggested I pay and leave. After all, I could always call and talk to the manager when he was in. I don't expect my mechanics to be absolutely perfect. But I do expect them to be honest. The mechanics at Firestone simply aren't. I'd like to think the mechanics didn't lie about the alternator being the only thing wrong knowing I would come back to more repairs, but their dishonest description of the inspections they performed make me wonder.

Made a reservation for 1:00 pm after being told the Vehicle Alingment Recheck would take only an hour. Arrived at 12:55 and turned my keys over at 12:58 pm. From that time until shortly after 2:52 pm I was not told when the Alkngment work would be done. When I was presented with my Vehicle's key I was told the the rear wheels on my Jeep Grand Cherokee were not adjustable. Bottom-line it took nearly two hours to perform what turned out to be a half Alingment job. Glad I could make an appointment, but it appears that did not make a difference when my Vehicle was serviced. I can not recommend this Firestone Service Station to anyone.

I took my car to this place and they found the problem and the problem was back bearing and they fixed and it tooks them more than 4 hours which I didn't mind at that time cuz I want my car to be fixed. Firestone Dont come here. Just don’t. I came in on 02/24/2018 to get my power windows fixed. Firestone is very expensive: $100 for an electronic diagnostic (that Was done without my knowledge until the bill) $150 for new battery (that was supposed to fix my power windows) they also take a very long time: 3 hours to diagnose my car. Then My car was misdiagnosed. The windows stopped working several hours after the new battery was put in. So I went back on 02/26/2018 and waited another 3 hours to rediagnose my windows. Then I had to pay $200 for a new part on top of the previous $250. Even tho I didn’t need the new battery. I spent way more time and money here than I ever wanted to.

I have been a customer since 2009 and have not had any issues in the past until this time. I took my Benz C300 for an oil change, dropped it off Saturday afternoon to pick up on Sunday. When we got home we noticed grease smudges all over the car which made us inspect the vehicle all around then we noticed there was front end damage done on it. I immediately took the car back and had the manager file an incident report, take pictures and video as I did the same. You could tell it has just been done as the paint was still still coming off. I was assured management (regional manager) would reach out to me and well more than 10 days after, I still have not heard back from him. I just received an email from the claims department asking what took place and what would we like for Firestone to do to fix the issue, are you serious? How about making it right? How about taking care of your loyal customer? This locations reviews are from from the standard and in today's world there are a million other places to take our vehicles for service, but if we trust you enough with our vehicles (whether is worth 1k or 100k) the standard for you Firestone should excellence and to not just service it properly, but also take care of it as if I was your own. Read you reviews, there are too many of these incidents all from the same place. I expect a resolution ASAP.

WATCH OUT for "Hazard Insurance." They tack that onto your bill for every new tire, without authorization. I even asked for a bill itemization before I paid (thinking the price was too high), and they again failed to divulge this fee. This has happened multiple times, and in each instance they are happy to refund you the fee back if you bring your receipt the next day. But they are clearly counting on people not looking at their invoice closely, and they are absolutely unapologetic about the policy. Otherwise it's actually a pretty good mechanic service. People seem reasonably honest about what work you need, and they always have coupons on their website. This tire insurance nonsense just really put a bad taste in my mouth.

They offered to replace my headlight for free to help get the sale of the tires to me and so I agreed and bought the tires because I thought I was getting a good deal getting my 100$ headlight replaced for free. When I came to pick up my vehicle they said they could not replace the headlight for free because it is HID which I know for a fact it is not and I told them that it is not HID and then, they then came up with the excuse that they can't do it because they would have to remove the bumper. I know for a fact that you dont have to remove the bumper and that you can go thru the wheel well. I know this because I have done it before. It is just bad business to make promises just to get a sale and then lie about why you cannot honor the promise.

I brought my car here not once, but twice. BIG MISTAKE. The first time I brought my car, my RPMs were all over the place. I brought it to them and they said they fixed it. Not one day later, my car was on the side of the road because my car was accelerating by itself. I got it towed back, and they said I would have to take my car to the dealer. I then towed my car to the dealership, who actually fixed it. The second time, I was driving and my lights began to flicker and then my car died. I automatically assumed that it would be the alternator. I got my car towed to firestone where I asked them to specifically look at the alternator. They decided to change the battery and call it a day. Less than 30 minutes later, my car did the same exact thing. Except, I was on the highway. I got it towed back to firestone, and they said it may have actually been my alternator. Now I do not bring my car here unless it is for an alignment or a tire rotation since I have the lifetime warranty.

Over 1 month ago, I had a flat tire and had it changed at another tire dealer. All of the technicians were clueless as to how to remount the spare. So I have been riding around with spare in back of car. Today I stop at Firestone(Springfield Mall) to see if they could do it. Mark took a look and then Jimmy came out and 20 min later, the spare was mounted back under the Mini. They were SOOO professional/helpful/kind. My car overheated while driving on I95, twelve hours from my home. I attempted to have it checked-out by Springfield Ford. They were rude and turned me away, stating they were too busy. Luckily I found the professional and helpful crew at Firestone Springfield VA. Although, they were fully booked and busy they did not turn me away . My heater core was found leaking and needed replacing, costing over one thousand dollars. I told them that I just needed a quick fix to get back home to repair the car myself. They agreed to bypass the heating core to alleviate the leak and get me on my way. Chain automotive stores typically don't do this type of work, but since I was far from home they did. I definitely recommend these guys for your automotive needs, but schedule an appointment because they are busy.

Yawnny the manager is very professional and will do his all to make things right, but he has to be made aware first. The receptionist Kat misuses her power and will delay your car being put in line for oil change, EVEN WITH SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT, without Yawnny knowing. This place is an absolute disaster! Came home to Eugene to visit with family and wanted to get the tires replaced before the drive back to L.A. Called and scheduled an appointment for the day before we left town, and was told that they had the tires in stock/would be a 45-60 min wait. Arrived the next day for our appointment and dropped off the vehicle on time, again, 45-60 min wait. At the 90 min mark, my wife asked if they were almost done and we were told that they were just finishing up the alignment. 10 mins later I was called over by the same person and was told "we have a problem". Apparently they did not have the tires in stock, had only removed our 4 tires in an hour and a half, and I was now being told I had to come back the next day. I was also told that they would put the wrong size tire on my van if I would like for a discount, so I could get on the road. After a very helpful conversation with Firestone Customer Care in Indiana, I rescheduled the appointment the next morning with the shop at Valley River. The manager of that shop actually sent a driver to Corvallis to retrieve the correct tires and my experience with them was flawless. Although I had to completely change the driving itinerary for me, my wife, and our three small kids, I am glad that there was a competent crew who provided a level of service I have come to expect from Firestone. After reading the other reviews on here, it is clear that I am not the only one who has had this type of interaction with this store. It ended up taking an hour to put my 4 old tires back on my vehicle, so 2.5 hours after my scheduled appointment started, I had no new tires and a new burden to take care of before hitting the road. Hopefully someone does something about it soon.

Service and prices were great, but the customer service guy was something else. Right behind me a gentleman came in holding a wheel for what looked like a riding mower. About 5 feet inside the door the customer service guy yells, "Nope, we can't help you." "I just need to fix a flat." "No, I'm sorry we only work on vehicles." I brought my car in for an oil change. Nothing too complicated. I started hearing a clicking in the engine so I took my car to a trusted mechanic (Vo's automotive in Beaverton) turns out they tightened the filter with some kind of tool (this should only be done by hand) & it punctured the filter. That clicking sound was my engine without oil. I had to get another oil change w/new filter. I am seriously lucky my engine still works. Don't go here unless you want gross incompetence.

I didn’t have high hopes for a chain like this but I drive a fleet vehicle so I didn’t have much of a choice. I pulled up and there are ZERO spots to park which is just mildly annoying especially considering how much of a pain it is to actually access. The man who assisted me “asked” me what time I could be here but then he ordered me to be here BEFORE 5:30 because he needed to lock up and go to his other job... mind you, they close at 7pm according to Google, their website and their door. Fine. I get it, mans gotta work.... I get here at 5 and they haven’t even started working on my car. To add more insult to injury, the manager refused to pay for the damages and rectify the situation. I will never get any work done at this Firestone ever again. Horrible Horrible experience! My fiancee took the car in Saturday morning for an oil change. When it was done, she drove it home (we only live 1-2 miles away). The car sat in the driveway the entire weekend. Sunday night I noticed that there was a lot of oil on the driveway and it was coming from the car we serviced. She took it back the next day and they said that there was a crack in the oil pan. There was NEVER a drop of oil before she took the car there. They said that it would cost $700 to fix it. $700 for something that we didn't cause! Eventually they said that we just had to pay for the part, which was still over $300. They said it would be ready the next day. The next day my fiancee called at 5:30 pm to get the status. The receptionist said that she would call back to let her know. She never called. I called at 6:40 pm and the phone rang for over 2 minutes before someone picked up, then I was put on hold for over 20 minutes. When she finally came back, I was told that the shop closed at 7 and she didn't have any info to give me. I will never go here again! If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I have filed a claim with their claims department. This is BS

I did some price checking and Firestone was the cheapest place I could have my wheels and tires mounted and balanced. Maybe I got a great deal because I was referred to Firestone by the TireBuyer web site. I think a lot of places will try and make the most money off of anyone they can. It's up to the buyer to be savvy and make sure you don't pay to much. Les Schwab wanted $1200+ for a set of tires that would fit on my stock 17" rims. I bought 18" rims and tires to fit for that price. That was a horrible quote from Les Schwab but I was a walk in customer and they probably thought I didn't know what I was doing. Search the web you will never go wrong. Mount, Balance + Valve stem; Les Schwab $93, Firestone $61.

When the guy got to the two hoses that were 86 dollars he tried to tell me and even showed me that the price was the same price as NAPA sells them for. When I pulled out my cell phone and went to NAPA's website the parts were only 34 dollars for the pair. Then he tried to explain it that they needed to make a profit off of the parts. I would not recommend anyone go here unless they want to be taken advantage of.

This place is a major scam. My husband took our car in a few weeks ago for an oil change and they suggested the front breaks should be done, and quoted him at $250. That seems fair, given the miles, so I went in for an appointment today. I told them that was what I was here for and they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. My husband went in right after to clarify with them that just my front pads needed to be changed, based on what the mechanic told us last time. An hour later they give me a call to tell me a bunch of other stuff needed to be done, including rotors. This is my first car, and my husband wasn't around, so I said do what needs to be done based on what my husband had talked with them about and what the inspection showed. 100% honestly, I didnt know what rotors were or when they usually got replaced. With some research I found that rotors only need to be replaced close to the 100k mile mark, but by then it was too late, and they had charged us $430. We pressed them about why they told me they needed to be done they said it had a B rating instead of an A. They did not follow what my husband explicitly asked them to do, but instead called, got me on the line instead of him, and decided to play a game to get more money. It's just a huge scam to replace parts that only need replacing once or twice in a car's life. Be careful if you go there!

So, I leave the grocery store, come out, and my car won't start. Ugh. It was 5:30 pm on a Sunday. I had it towed to Firestone. I received a call from them, and after hearing what happened they said they'd do a diagnostic the next morning for $24.99. Early the next morning they called, were extremely friendly, and said the battery died. Diagnostic, labor, and new battery cost $168. They were amazingly nice, and my car was ready to go at noon. No upselling, no bullshit, just nice guys. I was impressed and I'd definitely go back if something ever happened to my poor car again.

Was told the back tires were OK, but it would be better to replace that bad front tire and one other to balance it out. Left the car there for 6 hours but they couldn't get to it. Called at 3PM the next day to check in and, "oh, yep, it's actually done, but we forgot to call" was the answer. I go pick it up in the dark and drive home. Next morning I go to get in my car and the nail is STILL IN THE TIRE. The tech who did the work even passed the front tires on inspection. When I took it back in, the guy was apologetic, but could only offer me a "buy one get one free" deal. He seemed genuinely terrified to put it in the system because they'd be "flagged" for the screw up. They didn't communicate well. They passed a tire on inspection that blatantly had a nail. They passed two tires that allegedly had poor tread. They threw away my good back tires. They couldn't/wouldn't really do anything to help me. A simple nail in my tire ended up costing hundreds and hundreds of dollars.

I went in for an oil change, and got a call while the car was still these notifying me that I had a big nail in my tire and then started naming all of their tire specials, recommending two new tires. I also received quotes with my bill for about $700 of additional work they thought I should get done. Needless to say, I left, risking the drive home in a punctured tire but it was fine. I drove a second car all week and the tire never deflated. Finally on Saturday I took it to Allen tire on forest avenue, to see if it could be patched or plugged. They took one look at it and said it was not punturing the tire at all just stuck in the treads, and pulled it out with pliers. They then checked for leaks and there were none, so they said your good to go and it was all free of charge. I will definitely be going back to Allen's, but be very careful if Firestone ever gives you a quotefor service.

I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT F*!%ING GO TO FIRESTONE IN BEAVERTON OR! It's not that they want to screw you over, it's just that, they simply don't care. EVERY single time we go there, we end up with something to complain about. We went there for a squeaking noise in the suspension and paid over $1200 for the fix. The squeak never went away. I paid for an alignment because they said it needed it; the oversized wheels on my car prevented the tech from doing the alignment... but I still got charged for the full price of the alignment. I took the car in for a $20 oil change (if you have a credit card with them, which we do) and told them my wife would be picking it up; they charged her over $30 (ON THE CREDIT CARD). The morning after my last oil change, I wake up in the morning to see a puddle of oil in my driveway. I paid for a full vehicle inspection after buying a new (pre-owned) car and they found nothing. A couple days later, I take the car to a tranny shop to get checked and the tranny shop guys point out that the car was missing an engine mount bolt and the other bolts were loose (yeah, I got screwed on the car, but that's another story) and the radiator was leaking as well... What the hell did firestone inspect? I told them I wanted a brake job due to squeaking, there was only one tech working that day and he said the brakes looked fine. Two weeks later, the rotor is all F*!%#ED up and I have to pay even more! I F%$*ING HATE THIS PLACE! BTW, we only kept going back because we have a credit card with them and we're always broke... but no more. We're done with these F#%@ UPS!

The biggest rip off I have ever experienced. I went in because my car broke down and Firestone was the only place open later in the day that AAA could tow my car to. Woman insisted that she signs me up for a diagnostic when they open in the morning. After I now owe them over $150 for a diagnostic, they told me I only needed an alternator and the scam artists charged me over $800 for an alternator, diagnostic, and labor. I felt trapped because I would have had to pay to have my car towed somewhere else and pay for another diagnostic. This was the most frustrating experience I have ever had. Sunday August 18 early morning I was at Beaverton Firestone to do only alignment, the person who was taken job, I think his name is Dan, front disk, asked me sign a paper without explaining things to me. After about one hour he told me that they couldn’t do alignment, because of some other problems ,but they tires rotations therefore I had to pay for tires rotations. I tried to explain to him that I never asked for tires because I did it July 27, about 3 weeks ago, but he did not listen to me, instead he pushed me out of the store in front of other customer. That was very unprofessional way to handle situations in a such a big store. Because I have lifetime alignment with Firestone, I have to go back, not to Beaverton location, but I never fix other car problems in Firestone shop.

So I never write reviews. I also fear mechanics because whenever I see them I pay out the nose. I picked Firestone and was worried about cost but wanted a big name that could do it right. I got a life time brake package and boy am I glad I did. When my brakes acted up on me the last time I dropped it at Firestone and they fixed my car in a timely fashion. I awaited there call with the "well we fixed this and this but now you need this and this". Needless to say I never got that damaging call. I got the " Cars ready" and I said "annnnd". I agree with the average 2 star rating. I have been a Firestone customer for decades and I have been going to this Firestone dealer because I bought a lifetime alignment from them when they were in the City of Fairfax. I have always like the quality of their product and the quality of their service, however I have never had a good experience when it has come to scheduling work, getting status on my work when it runs over the estimated time, or communication in general. The shop works best when you drop your car off the night before and pick it up at the end of the day. An "appointment" seems to be little more than a commitment to work on your car rather than on an exact time or sometimes day. Communication between the shop and the front desk is poor which makes communication back to you a challenge. For example, I waited 2 hours in the waiting room before bugging the front desk to find out what was going on, only to find out the technician had a question for me before he could proceed.

Stayed from about my 8 am - 12 pm to get 2 tires put on my car. My vehicle was ready by 11:30am. The main issue I had is they NEVER came to me and said "sir your vehicle is ready" I say there until 12:00pm. I already noticed they pulled the vehicle around 30 minutes before. So I said what the heck let me go see myself what's going on. Sure enough it's ready. While the two women behind the counter kept helping customers and answering phone calls. Not one staff member on duty said hmmm. " This guy has been here since 8am. I should go let him know he is all set and can go now" I had to get up myself and ask them "is everything ok? Can I go now" I understand if I was not there when they serviced my vehicle. I was there the whole time. That was really some of the stupidest sh!? I ever seen. I mean all they could say is "Uh yea it's ready"

Took almost 3 hours for a tire change even though I had an appointment and told them I was going to wait. After it was done they tried to charge me for it even though I already paid online, then tried to charge me for the tire kits even though that was included on the break down of what had already been paid for, somehow ended up with a 9 cent refund so I have no idea how they come up with their charges. Reluctantly come back the next week for a state inspection on Saturday morning, they say they can do it but I might have to pick my car up Sunday. I call back Sunday afternoon and was told it probably wasn't getting done that day and they weren't even going to call and tell me until later in the afternoon. So I could have taken my car somewhere else Sunday morning, but instead I have to either take time off work or go through the hunger games for a state inspection on the last weekend of the month. Could have just told me there wouldn't be time so I could have gone anywhere else. Thanks for ruining my week and causing me to go without my car for the weekend for no reason.

Awful service! Our 18 year old daughter had a flat tire on 11/12/17 at 7:30 am when she was trying to leave Bellingham to get to work in Redmond where we live. They refused to help her because there were 7 cars before her and they said she would have to leave the car for the day. She was just driving through, she was crying, she needed help. They wouldn't even help her put on the spare. My husband had to call and he begged Michael to at least help her put on the spare so that she could make it to work. Michael eventually agreed to help her, but said "keep in mind, I am helping her instead of SEVEN OTHER customers". He looked at the tire and told her she needed a new one even though the tire had nail in the tread and not the sidewall. They MADE her buy a new tire in order for them to even help her - no integrity and rude employees at this location.

However, after getting tires balanced still had terrible vibration. 2 days later took vehicle to another Firestone service center in Mechanicsville, Virginia as we were on a road trip. Was told every tire was out of balance. They rebalanced them at no charge. Now car rides smooth. Firestone in Mechanicsville, Virginia is excellent. Will not return to the Springfield Auto Care Center for anything, As i see it, if you can't even balance 1 out of 4 tires correctly what else are you going to screw up. Amazing customer service. My van blew a tire (completely destroyed the tire) on I-5 and after waiting 2 hrs for a tow truck, I got here right at closing. Since I had an AWD I had to get all 4 tires replaced and they were closed when I got here, the mechanic was willing to work late by himself and change all 4 tires for me. I had to deal with a repair for my college student’s vehicle from over an hour away. The vehicle was dropped off after hours, I made an appointment online and had my vehicle back the next day. I dealt with the advisor completely by phone and they kept me apprised of repairs and cost. This definitely could’ve been a situation to take advantage because I was so far away. After seeing a lot of negative comments on here, I thought I'd share my experience with this shop, as overall, it's probably hit or miss. I tend to go to this shop over others because they are all clean, professional, and english-speaking employees. This is important to me because I need to clearly understand any additional issues they may want to bring to my attention. Back in late September of 2013 (2 months ago), I was headed home from my second job and I realized I had a flat tire. What's worse was that I was heading back to my hometown for a wedding the next day! I called up Firestone first thing the next morning, and scheduled to bring it in right away. I found a good deal on a cheap, decent 25k mile tire (I'm replacing all four within the next month), and they gave me a reasonable time frame. I met up with some family at a nearby Silver Diner for breakfast. And as I just arrived back to the shop, the ticket for my car came up to the front desk, and I was able to pay and leave town and made it to the wedding on time. All in all, I paid $70 for a replacement tire and labor. All within a time frame of 2-3 hours. Not bad. I just wish they did work on cars with parts I supply...then I'd go here all the time! No bad experiences yet, but we'll see when the time comes to get all new tires!

thought i had left this review but looks like i didnt or it was removed? back in aug 2016 i had my car in for a lifetime alignment, the tech who drove it onto the rack did not set the ramps correctly and one fell out underneath the car and it was centered on the ramp. I heard the loud bang and looked out into the bay window and saw the techs gathering around to push my car off. They did the alignment quickly and when I asked them what happened they said it went fine and didnt mention the incident. I took photos of the bent bracing and dent on the underside of the car when i got home. I had a lawyer write up a letter explaining what happened, got a few estimates and made a case with their regional manager of retail operations. It wasnt until the regional manager Thomas stepped in that the store that caused the damage did admit to what happened but they still brushed off the damage as it was nothing. I suggest you dont take your car to this location so if something happens its up to you to prove they did something, otherwise they will ignore it. In the end i was proactive to proving damages so I was made whole in repairs but it did take up a lot of my personal time.

I was the only person in the waiting room. My car didn't move until 10:00 am. At 11:05 my car was pulled back out and I was told it was done. When I paid for my work I asked why it took 2 hours to change my oil when I made the appointment at 9 am. The service writer said "you said you had an appointment for 10am. I then asked if that was the case why would I have arrived over an hour ahead of my appointment. He said he must have mis- heard me and was sorry. I know they had me in there computer so when he pulled up my appointment he would have known what time it was for. I don't know about anyone else but if I had a person show up over an hour before an appointment I would have said something. I think I'll find somewhere else that values my time and business.

Called around to various tire shops in the area and Firestone had by far the lowest price I found for the tires I wanted. They got the tires I wanted in stock overnight, and I was able to go in the next day and get the work done. Quick process, and the mall is a very short walk away so it is very easy to kill the time waiting. Will definitely be returning for any tire work I need in the future.

I have an older vehicle and dropped my car off here requesting a thorough inspection to address some concerns as well as a tire that kept going flat. While I ended up with some upsetting results that my car needs more services than it's worth, I was actually advised that it may not be worth it to do the work. As a woman with a lot of anxiety when it comes to car repairs that left me feeling like I could trust this place. It meant a lot to me that I wasn't pressured to making a potentially unwise investment into a car that may not be worth fixing. While they may not have earned short term gains they made a long term customer. I recommend to ladies with anxiety about car repair shops. They treated me well and didn't go for the sale.

I had to come in 3 times because I had two separate tires pop two separate days, and my alignment was off. The tire was ordered correctly but they delivered the wrong tire. Lots of issues that were no ones fault, but Dan was AMAZING and helped me out with cost and was VERY friendly the entire time and made me feel better about the situation. I was there wanting to change my front brake pad. I was told by the dealership that i have less than 20% pad and recommended changing asap. So i decided to go to firestone as there was a deal on changing brake pads. After initial inspection, the team found that there is >5mm left and at least 10K miles before needed change. They asked me to take a look and did a complimentary inspection and did not charge me anything. I greatly appreciate their honesty. Quite frankly, i dont understand all the mediocre reviews. I dont know about big repairs here but i would not hesitate using this place for regular maintenance.

Have you ever seen the movie, Idiocracy? Have you ever wondered where the diminished end of the gene pool goes to work? I have the answer... Firestone in Springfield, VA. This past weekend I took my car in for evaluation of two tires. Rocket science suggests that when the tire pressures goes down then there is probably an issue. After dropping my car off in the morning, I received a call about two hours later. I was informed that there was a nail found in one tire and that the tread on the other was starting to crack. The one with he nail could be fixed, but they didn't feel comfortable with the other one. Then they suggested I purchase all new tires given that they said the tires were 7 years old. In fact, they are only 3.5 years old. I was also told that I should get an alignment, but the funny thing is that I had one done at this same place three weeks earlier. Apparently, they don't check their systems before trying to scam. I was also told at the time that I received the alignment that my tires were in good tread shape. How all of these things change within the span of three weeks is beyond me. So I receive another call 20 minutes after declining the new tires and was told that both tires could in fact be fixed. Upon arriving to pick up my car, I was then told that the valve was loose and that there were no other issues. I went out to my car turned it in, and the pressure was still low in both tires, which they confirmed after checking. They take the car back and fill the tires. I took the car home only to find that the pressure continued to get low again. Went back and was assured that something was wrong with the settings. Not true... I'm now at another automotive center getting the tire fixed. The nail was never removed. Steer clear of Firestone near the Springfield Mall. It's not worth the hassle.

I can't speak for their general service, but in an emergency, these folks were the best. I had a really bad flat on a Sunday morning. No one was open except this Firestone and I was in a long dress on my way to church. The worker in the garage was kind, but busy. My tire was beyond repair and they didn't have a tire my size in stock so, there was no chance for a sale. Nonetheless, the office worker dropped everything to come out and change my tire so that I was only 1/2 hour late for my choir rehearsal. The service was friendly and fast and, under the circumstances, I couldn't have asked for more.

Sent my car in for a lifetime alignment on a Sunday afternoon, and I received my car back in less than an hour with other customers in front of me. Their customer service was professional and they showed me the alignment results with explanations. The only downside was that, although the tires were aligned properly, my steering wheel was slightly to the left while I am driving straight. A bit annoying, but I can always send in my car to the shop again to re-straighten the steering wheel due to the lifetime alignment. They seem like good people and didn't bait me on paying for another service.

This specific location is always a good decision. As a not-rich college student, I meticulously shop around for best deals for any service or product. ESPECIALLY for something expensive as auto services. The E. 11th Firestone has a knowledgeable team that also makes you feel understood and personally helped and not just treated as money walking in the door. An extra thank you and highlight for the store manager Steven for taking the time to explaining EVERYTHING relevant to my car's issues in understandable detail. Allen, Paul and Burnice took very good care of me after I had a horrible experience at another Firestone location. As a female, I know I have "sucker" written on my forehead when I walk into a mechanic shop but that was not the case at this store. They took the written estimates I had received from 2 other repair shops and checked everything the other shop checked and then some. Saved me thousands of dollars on repairs that I did not need. The initial check in guy (maybe only 'am' staff) sounds unnecessarily robotic/burnt out and may give an unrealistic time frame. I was initially quoted 1-1.5 hours. The car was moved and sat between bays waiting to be up. I waited nearby and spoke to a few knowledgeable technicians who sounded like they care about their job (Oscar and a younger tech who said that they have been there for a year). I watched a balance on a vehicle and then watched my car positioned and prepared for an alignment. The technician Luis, not only articulated what he was going to do but did an absolute phenomenal job. The car feels amazing. Come here for the bedside care techs like Luis give to the things you care about. The check in is like a 70's Saturday Night Live parody of anything involving a hillbill gas pump clerk but if you can get past that I feel that you may be happy with the actual labor. UPDATE: I am happy I read the other most current review. The scam like sounding customer service guy sounds like what I had to witness this morning. He was casually (for his sake) wearing zero name tag nor introduced himself. I'm amazed if he feels that his approach is convincing. The number of times that this location over promises and under delivers is absurd. Shame on me to keep coming back. My latest mis-adventure was calling on Saturday to make an appointment to have a timing belt replaced on Monday and a safety check on they tires. Re-arranged everything to be able to handle having only one vehicle. No word from Firestone on this, so at 3pm I finally called them only to be told that the only person that does timing belts does not work on Mondays. I have spent a lot of money here over the years. I bought new tires here and had an oil change 2 weeks ago. My vehicle is 4 years old. I just discovered that my car has been continuously leaking oil since then. The oil seemed dirty. I called them and was told that it could be any type of fluid and they could take care of it "within a few hours". Where there's smoke, there's fire so I took it to the Toyota dealership. The oil was a little dirty and the drain plug was not even hand tightened underneath. I called back and was not offered a refund. They offered a free oil change and that is the last thing I wanted from them.

I'll never go here again. They won't make good on a bad part they put into my truck. They say I should have had a diagnostic run before the repair, but they didn't offer that till after the fact, then wanted to add over $100 to my bill. CAUTION- Use discretion; $46 to balance 4 truck wheels is a superb deal, plus thay were able to get me in quicker than predicted.... Afterwards i waited an extra half hour (after my vehicle was completed, removed from the pay and parked) while a manager calculated $2600 in needed repairs, two of which i had just done; "brake fluid exchange $79", and "coolant system service $122". The truck has a brand new master cylinder and complete brake fluid flush,and a new radiator and coolant flush, all, less than 3 months old.

Dishonest sales associates and techs, caught them padding my invoice with a headlight replacement for 1.3 hours when the book calls for .3 hours, when confronted they claim “accident” and issued a $90 refund in labor, I have never accidentally over charged someone. They didn’t know I was a tech and had access to the same software that sets industry standards on how long a repair should take. They also charge a $99 diagnostic fee which is beyond outrageous...... And that fee doesn’t go towards the cost of repairs, we would charge time for diagnostics, it was usually never more than .5 hours Go somewhere else, a small independent shop preferably, this is what happens when techs get paid commission and paid on billable hours they produce and not a set hourly wage On top of all this when the tech called me for authorization for repairs he told me the cost, and he would have to replace that section of the wiring harness, I asked him if they could just cut off the bad connector on the headlight and butt-splice in a new one, he says “no we have to replace that section of the wiring harness” Well they lied and Butt-spliced on a new connector. (Pictures attached to this review) You can’t make this stuff up, I feel sorry for people that are at the mercy of dishonest repair shops like this, I’m fortunate in that myself and my family have our own shop to treat people right and not take advantage of customers who otherwise may not know any better, unlucky for them I happened to be traveling thru town and needed some repairs

The staff offers nothing less than excellent service here. I have found them to be very honest which I appreciate. I recently took my car to the dealership for a 60k mile service. (I thought I had to take it to the dealership for these types of services). On top of the very expensive service fee, the dealership told me I needed a new part that cost $400 after tax. I get every other service done at Firestone in Bellingham, so took my car here for a second opinion. They told me the part was fine and did not need replaced. Saved me a lot of money. They took time to show me the part and explain why it did not need replaced. I learned today that I can do my services here. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! I was in a pinch and needed a nail out of my tire and Les Schwab is closed on Sundays so I took my CR-V here. It took them 7 hours and when I picked up my car I thought it was all fine. But the next morning I was on my way down to Seattle and my steering wheel was shaking horribly which is something I’ve never had an issue with. I pulled off and took it into a Les Schwab in Mount Vernon and they let me know my tire was still losing air and was flat. So Firestone didn’t help me out after all and I wish I could give this negative stars. They had my car for 7 hours and did absolutely nothing.

FIRST NEVER GET SERVICE WITH THEM! Sometime in October 2015, I quoted online for 4 tires includes alignment and others for $3xx.00. I called them they told me they have 4 tires. I took my truck there left it there. They told me they would take couple hours. They called me told me that they have only 2 tires. They will put two and I have to go back on Monday to get another 2 tires. I went take my truck. They charged for 2 tires. they don't do alignment or nothing. I drove my truck home with terrible shaking. on 95 i have to hold my steering wheel very tie because misalighment. the guy from the shop called one shop and woodbridge. I took my truck there to get 2 rear tires on Saturday. I charged me another $3xx.00. Almost 400.00 from the second shop. the alignment still not good. I called them to take it back for them to redo. They won't charge but if some wrong they will to charge me. I told them i just need realignment. then I don't want to bring it back so I decided to take it to dealership. The first shop at springfield mall charged me 189.72 for. Back about few years I also had bad experience with fire stone at Fredericksburg, they changed my tires for my car but lost one original wheel nuts. I had to buy. Tell you the truth NEVER GET SERVICE FROM THEM! if you have any choices.

Ball joint pinch bolt was left loose and when I took it back and they found it they never even realigned it. Not sure the logic behind that. I would rate this 0 stars if possible because these jerks BLATANTLY tried to SCAM me! Please read this in full so you know what kinds of things they might try to get away with. A friend of mine recommended them to me, so I called them when my car had started to leak engine coolant and asked them how much they would charge to take a look at it and lemme know what the problem is. The guy on the phone said it would be $29.99 plus tax. That sounded fine to me so I told him to make an appointment for that for me. I also have that call recorded on my phone for proof. I went in a couple days later when my appointment was and dropped off my car. When I gave the guy at the front desk my keys, his EXACT WORDS were "Okay, just one sign-off before ya go, just sign right here." And he laid a paper down on the desk and leaned in it with his arms, covering the top half of the paper. I didn't think anything was off just yet, because I hadn't been into a car repair place before, so I figured it was just a consent form for them to look at it or something. No big deal. I signed and left. About roughly 2ish hours later, they called and told me I had a bad radiator hose, another one that was almost bad, and a belt needing replaced. They SPECIFICALLY SAID that the hose repairs would run 278 bucks, but if I wanna replace the belt, then plus labor it would come up to 547. And again, I had recorded THIS call too, and listened to it over and over to make sure I didn't simply mishear. Now I only wanted to know what was wrong, as I had an outlet to get parts and repairs for cheaper, so I declined the repair. Here's where the scam almost got me. I went in to pickup my car, and remember I had scheduled the $29.99 service and declined anything else. Well the guy walks out, looks me dead in the eye, and said it would be over $90 that was now due. Um....EXCUSE ME!? Turns out my car got a much more thorough service without ever once getting my consent. BUT THAT'S NOT ALL! When I said I had made the appointment for the $30 service, he pulls out a copy of the paper I signed, and it detailed I was having a $90 service, and CONVENIENTLY the guy just so happened to be covering the paper EXACTLY where it said a COMPLETELY different price than what I had agreed to. So I told the guy it was wrong, that I never saw this price change and didn't agree to it, so he pops off with, "Well you DID read and sign the paper." LIKE HELL I DID! Then I asked him when I was even signed up for the more expensive service in the FIRST place, and he said it was the day I scheduled the appointment. I called him on the lie and pulled out my phone, telling him I recorded the call and could prove it right then and there that I was right by simply playing the recording. He was quick and frantic to stop me, trying to tell me that it would somehow be EXTREMELY illegal to do that. HOW!? BECAUSE IT WOULD PROVE ON THE SERVEILENCE CAMERAS THAT YOU WERE SCAMMING ME!? He said the guy 'Dan' made the appointment, and could have made a mistake, but when I asked them to call Dan and ask, they avoided that completely. Didn't even say no, just avoided it. And that's STILL NOT ALL! Eventually I had gotten so pissed that the guy lowered the price to the originally agreed upon $30 but not before being EXTREMELY rude and snide. On my way out, I was reviewing the paper he gave me detailing everything and GET THIS. That estimate for $547 to fix everything? That was ANOTHER lie! According to the paper, that would have been the LABOR ALONE, and the actual whole process would have cost me $924. SO IF I SAID GO AHEAD WITH THE $500 REPAIR, I WOULD HAVE BEEN STUCK WITH ALMOST $1000 BILL AND HAD NO IDEA!!! So that's TWO cases in the SAME DAY of them BLATANTLY LYING to me to try and suck more money out of me without my say so. Not to mention, the parts themselves are only gonna cost me less than $100 from a very reputable source. So even without the sketchy business practices and lies, that's still 10 times what it's worth. They're crooks, and tried to take advantage of me, stay away!!!

Do NOT trust this location. Update: Finally got in for my state inspection(cost about $350 to get me up to snuff since I'm from out of state) and started hearing some creaking noises from my brakes about a week later. I come back in, thinking something on my breaks had repaired needed oil or tightened or something. I wait an hour or two and the guy says repairs will cost $600 to replace 3 different things including the engine mount. I can't afford that right now anyway so I tell them I'll deal with the creaking noise for now. I go the next day to a local car shop because something wasn't adding quite up with them offering me a credit card to help pay for it and other repairs...and the local place quoted me $0 because all I needed was an extra nut. They were right. No more squeaking. Now, I don't know for sure if Firestone removed that piece intentionally to have me pay for $600 but they definitely should have seen it when they opened my car up. This place is sketchy as hell. Very seriously considering turning this over to the consumer protection office for review based on dishonesty/incompetence. Really annoyed. I understand that state inspections are first come, first served but I have attempted to get mine here for the last 4 days straight without success. Was told yesterday (Saturday) that if I came in Sunday at 9 I would be able to try again. Show up sick because it's crunch time for me after waiting 5 days and one of the guys says that they don't have a state inspector on site on Sundays at all or ever. This place pisses me off.

Took my car for inspection and they said I needed to get two new tires and replace a tie rod, as well as get an alignment. I went to sams club and got the tires (better deal) and the they said they didn’t see any issue with a tie rod. I then proceeded to get it inspected by another reputable shop and they said I definitely don’t need a tie rod replacement. These guys tried to rip me off for $300 plus. It’s a shame.

I want to take this time to let whoever is reading this how impressed I was with Paul the store manager and my over all experience. I brought my recently purchased Ford Escape in for a tire pressure error which quickly turned into me finding out my car was completely rusted out and had failed Virginia State inspection before being sold to me, unbeknownest to me. Paul took it personally upon himself to inspect my car for other errors, and help me get justice with the dealership who had sold me an unsafe car. He made an overwhelmingly horrible situation, bearable and really took it upon himself to get me the help I needed. I will be a loyal WIllow Lawn Firestone customer for as long as I am in Richmond as well as my boyfriend, family and friends. Again I have to say this was most commendable experience I have ever received at any establishment, especially within the automotive industry. Kudos to Paul!

NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE!!! Took my car there approximately 2 months ago for breaks. I was told that only front brakes needed to change. However, it's my car and I know there is something wrong with rear brakes as well. It took them 4 hours to get the job done on the first day. Which was replacing front brakes and they didn't touch rear at all. I told them they also need to fix the rear and the manager goes "There is nothing wrong with it". I insist and they tell me to bring the car tomorrow so that they can check what's wrong. I take my car there and they make me wait 3 hours even though I went there with appointment, and the manager tells me "yeah, we need to work on rear brakes as well. Come tomorrow at 11 and it will be done by 3pm" I go ok. Next day I drop my car there and leave. I came back at 3pm and the car is where I parked it. They didn't even start working on it! I speak to manager about it and he (Yanny if I am not mistaken) goes like "Would you like to work here and experience how my employees feel? I don't have enough people working for me so be respectful and just wait!" I go ok and they made me wait until 6pm. I lost 3 days on an issue that I told them the very first time I was there. It cost me money, time. And now guess what?? My car's brakes lock while I am driving during night and I cannot drive it at all. Totally unsatisfied! I will give a detailed complaint to Firestone.

This used to be a convenient and decent place to get my car worked on, but sadly all of that has changed. I just called them and asked them if I could drop my truck off for them To do a state inspection sometime today. I was immediately met with attitude from the lady who picked up the phone who basically said drop it off, no promises. That was okay, I understand that. What ground my gears (pun intended), was when I agreed and made a simple request that if they didn’t have my car on the lift by noon, to just not inspect it, since I needed it to drive to work today. This simple request got met with a major attitude. The lady I talked to was all but too eager to hand the phone off to the manager, who to my surprise was just as rude. I don’t know what happened to this store but they must’ve hired some new people, because they have never sucked like this. They used to be friendly and accommodating. My only regret, and the reason I’m posting this review, is now I’m stuck with a lifetime alignment agreement with these people. Essentially I’ve wasted a bunch of money because I’m never letting them touch my car again.

It's close to the holidays when people will be on the road and have the day off to get the car serviced before they travel. I visit them for regular maintenance: oil change, tire rotation and check liquids. They didn't put any liquids. They put on bill tire rotation BUT THEY DIDN'T DID IT. They try sell me new tires instead of this "bla bla you need to do it, your tires have almost 30k miles on them, they look perfect but they not"... Terrible stuff. Just terrible.

Do not get your car serviced here. I brought it in for an alignment with specific settings (slightly different from factory settings). The Manager told me it couldn't be done because my car doesn't have camber bolts - it does, but I had to argue with him. After they admitted that they could adjust the camber the Manager told me that I needed to upgrade my tires to improve handling and that alignment settings and suspension upgrades wouldn't improve handling (tires improve traction and do not improve handling in significant ways). Then he said that I shouldn't have 0 toe even though my manual states that 0 toe is a factory setting and that the numbers represented ranges and not specifics - there was only one number listed for camber and one for toe (two numbers are needed to represent a range). Then I noticed that they had somehow made one of my calipers leak and my breaks had to be bled. In short, the Manager wanted his technicians to spend as little time as possible on my car by stating that camber couldn't be adjusted and then he wanted to sell me new tires...if I didn't know a thing or two about cars I would of driven off with an unaligned car, with new expensive tires and with unsafe brakes.

Super low quality tires needs to replace every time you have flat. Also they make a mess every time inside the car with their dirty hands.

Not very reliable if your in a hurry. Made an appointment to drop off my work vehicle for rear brakes. Left it at 7:30 am. At 3:30 stopped by to pick it up, and was informed they were still waiting for approval from the fleet management company. I called the fleet people and was told the request wasn't in the system very long, and it's just rear brakes. You're approved. Now I'm informed by Firestone the van won't be ready today. The tech starts at 8. Should only take couple hours. So I have to find a ride home and be picked up the next day. Day 2, I don't hear anything all day. So we head down at 3pm. On the way we finally get a call, and I am informed I have a bad caliper and they just got approval, so it won't be ready again. They finally finished day 3 about noon. Good customer service would be to let the customer know what's going on. A phone call to the fleet people is simple and makes things happen alot faster. 3 days for rear brakes is unreasonable. And very inconvenient when I got to have the vehicle for tools and parts to do my job. I won't be back.

On the OTHER hand. . . A technician suggested I should get a brake inspection because my "check brake" light was on. . . when asked to elaborate, they described the light that shows the e-brake is engaged. . . . Yeah. . . Said we needed another rear though we didnt. $175 Dog leash missing out of the car. $15 Aux cable missing out of the car. $17 Called us at 6:45pm to tell us we could pick our car up anytime.. immediately took a taxi.. they close at 7pm so the car is Locked inside... had to take the taxi home. $25 Had the audacity to tell me that it's against policy to take property out of the car.. oh.. nobody stole it because it's against policy.. soo.. I'm stupid or my things ran away? Thanks Cory. 3 new scratches on the passenger side. And 1 fat new dent on the back right side. Didn't even bother to clean the black residue left from when the damage was incurred. Don't go here unless you want to be robbed on and off the books then treated unreasonably. Was told I'll be contacted thursday. Will update results.

I was a little scared to go here first, because of so many bad reviews, but I'm glad I did. I found an awesome deal for wheel alignment. The staff was very respectful and cared for me as a customer. The person who was handling my case listened to my concerns, and also looked at my car for himself. After the completion of work he explained me all the technicalities of caster, camber, toe. Though my car is still pulling to left a little bit, but it is much better than before. I would have to take my car there again to get it fixed completely (and that's why only 3 stars), but I'm sure they will get it right this time.

I got work done at a Firestone in Roseville California. My door handle was broken off and the locking mechanism fell into my door and it was "repaired" in California. However, they didn't repair the lock they just reattached the broken handle. My car died earlier and I tried to get into the car and of course the key didn't work. I called them about this and they basically said that they didn't care and can't help. They said that the repair was just an attachment of the handle. I have literally spent thousands of dollars at Firestone. I won't ever go back to another one again. I don't go to a mechanic to get my door fixed and they just put a new handle back on, but they don't bother to deal with the lock. I spoke with Pat and he was combative and difficult to deal with. I look forward to their rebuttal. Facts are facts, however, and this was terrible customer service and that is why I am making sure to put this online for potential customers to see.

I can't tell you just how wonderful Pat (Mgr) was in taken care of my tire that had a nail in it. I called 15 minutes to closing time and explain my situation he stated there was nothing he could really do because it would take over 45 minutes to repair but he would check the donut for me if i could get there by 7pm When I finally arrived @ 7:03pm he checked out the spare and then he proceeded to look at the tire with the nail, next thing I know he's repairing the damage tire. I'm a previous ASE certified mechanic (L1 even..) this place totally ripped off my girlfriend and is not trust worthy at all. Walked out with a quote for things literally completed less than a week a go and no explanation other than "the technician put down what was needed"... . When I called backed to ask for a manager because an extremely questionable charge... they "weren't available" and haven't called me back. Funny, they have all the time in the world to take advantage of an unsuspecting patron, but no time to call me back.. If you respect yourself and your car, go somewhere else until this place decides to least offer the courtesy of having a manager call back when promised.

Don’t go here unless you are wanting to spend a ridiculous amount of money. Went to get an inspection sticker and failed because apparently my back tires are bald (tires are less than a year old). They said they could give me 2 new tires for “a LOW price of 250$“ not including labor. Not only did they fail me but they charged 12$ to fail me. So unless you have a brand new car that’s never been touched, don’t go here for inspection. Wouldn’t recommend to ANYONE.

I went to this place as this was on my way back to Atlanta during my recent visit to DC. My Car AC had stopped functioning. I wasted full 3 hours to have the diagnostics done. After which I was told: " we think there is a problem with the heating unit which will cost you $ 157 but we are not fully sure if that will solve the problem ". If the place has ASE certified people working, why is there a we think? I drove back to Atlanta and was told that there is a problem with the electrical unit and had nothing to do with heating unit at all. The only good thing they did was not charge me $79 of AC inspection fees, because they couldn't figure out the exact problem.

I've been a customer for over five years now with their Lifetime Alignment service and I'm confident to say that they go above and beyond the expectations of their customers. I admire how they handle their business with a handful of dedicated folks at the helm. Sure they can be rough on the edges once in a while when dealing with customers but I think that's how their business evolved in the area. Their honest and straight forward advice are sometimes mis-interpreted by some in a negative way. Nonetheless, I believe this is a great place to take your vehicle for service.
