Went in for a tire balance was charged $20 for it..they lifted my car from the floor pan instead of the pinch welds on the rocker, telling me it wasn't legal. They caused damage and when I told them they tried to play it off as only a scratch though they caused frame damage. I am very upset they did this to my car

These guys are great. I travel for a living and had a bent rim. Tire Barn told me I was going to have to pay for a brand new rim which would cost me about $160. These guys fixed it for $40. They will not bullshit you. Don't look anywhere else. Go here, even if it's not the closest tire shop.

I've been coming here for years because they've always helped me out. They get tires the next day and get them cheaper than anyone around. Unlike most of the other places who try to find things wrong to charge you for, they're straight up. Keep in mind, most of the people who post bad comments are the only ones who post. Most of the ones who are satisfied don't get on to complain. They stay busy All the time, so they're doing something right!

Have always got my tires here. Also depend on them for any work I’m incapable of doing myself and have always been happy. Made the mistake of waiting too long until the snow was flying one year and had to get tires elsewhere because they didn’t have my size in stock and I wasn’t making it in the snow without new tires..that was a terrible mistake. The other business was slow, and over priced, I’ll be sure to always get my tires through Dinsmore! Honest, great prices, fast turn around. Had an issue with a vehicle they were unable to solve (it’s an Audi, and it was something I had made a mistake on and messed up). He told me when I came in, we will diagnose and do our best but it may need to go to an Audi dealer. After spending several hours on it they had no luck and I did in turn end up taking it to the dealership. Was thankful they had been honest up front as I was then anticipating the trip to the dealership. Even with the knowledge beforehand of the possibility they wouldn’t be able to fix the issue, Rich only charged me for part of his guys time since they were unable to fix the problem. Very appreciative of all the work they’ve done for me, and the excellent service they’ve provided! They will continue to get my business and recommendations.

I took my car to Dinsmore Tire to have a water pump replaced. They told me they would have it done by the end of the day. I never received a phone call. I waited 3 days and finally went to the shop to see if it was done. I saw my car sitting in the same place it was 3 days ago. It was the only car in the lot, and there were none in the garage. I went in the store to find a sleezy looking lady with a dog and a sloppy, staggering man who reeked of alcohol. I asked the man behind the counter why my car wasn't done and why nobody had called me. His only response was "get the hell out" and then handed me the keys to HIS car. When I went back in to get the right set of keys, I asked who the owner was. He introduced himself as Rich Dinsmore, owner and operator, and tried to shake my hand, not realizing that he had just kicked me out. This place is a circus, and probably some kind of drug front. Do not take your car here.

Monro Muffler had attributed a weird high RPM sound with a dying clutch (5 years old) and gave me a much higher estimate, so I took my car to Dinsmore because they offered me the best price I could find in Morgantown. The repair was estimated to take 2 business days but ended up taking more than double that because the supplier sent the wrong part. But they replaced my clutch, stuck to their original price (down to the cent), and were very friendly. The replacement didn't fix that weird loud RPM sound, but I did need a new clutch, so...

Looking for honest service? DO NOT GO HERE! I went to Dinsmore to get my wheel replaced and they scratched my brand new rim. Denied doing so. Later found out that they broke my valve stem in half and rigged a cap on the end of it to HIDE their mistake! I found this out the hard way when I lost pressure in my tire and was stranded on the side of the road. The tire valve stem is attached to my pressure monitoring system (expensive) but they would not cover the cost to fix it. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, AVOID at all costs! I agree that these positive reviews on here are by the employees. Finding an honest repair shop is difficult, your vehicle is one of the largest investments you will make, good luck!

Rich and his staff over at Dinsmore Tire and Auto are incredibly helpful and pay close attention to detail when mounting and balancing wheels and tires. I have a set of high dollar CCW Classic 3 piece wheels that I took to them to be mounted on their true "touchless" mounting machine. Not a scratch, blemish or mark left on my wheels. Anyone in Morgantown or the Pittsburgh area looking for a reputable place to have their wheels and tires mounted and balanced without any damage and awesome customer service, this is the place to go!!!!

Dinsmore Tires is THE place to go in Morgantown!! They've helped me out a number of times over the last two years, most recently when someone slashed one of my tires and I needed my spare installed. It seems to me that a lot of reviews are given when a person has a bad experience,and not often enough are they given when service is actually good.I contacted Dinsmore Tire to inquire about purchasing a used rim for my car.The nice lady answering said they couldn't sell less than a full set even if they did have them in stock but she was nice enough to point me in a few directions to get the help I was looking for.The first recommendation she gave was able to help me out and since they were nice enough to try and help I figured I'd take a chance and give them my business for helping me out in any way possible.Where I work at we also believe in that same philosophy,that if you can't help a customer directly at least try to offer other assistance.Needless to say I was extremely pleased with the overall experience.When I called back to see how far they were backed up with customers they offered to get me right in.Not only did I have them re-mount my tire I also had them repair a flat,do a complete rotation and also got an oil change.From the time I got there I waited approx. 35-45 min which wasn't bad in my opinion for everything that was done.I was very glad to give them my business and will most definitely consider it in the future also.Thank you Dinsmore Tire :)

Car quit running in the middle of my driving, and it did so in a way that seemed like the alternator was to blame. I had it towed to Dinsmore, as I've had many repairs done there previously. I was told that it was the starter (even the the car would start, just not turn over), and $360 later my car was apparently done, and ready to be picked up. I paid for the repairs over the phone and asked that they put my key under the mat, as I wouldn't be able to pick up until after they were closed. After retrieving my vehicle, I didn't get 5 miles, and the exact same thing happened; only this time, I was broken down after hours at 11pm. Now here I am on a Saturday trying to figure out how I might get my vehicle driveable. I am not happy.

I was trying to get a pre-purchase inspection done and called these guys up. I told them it would be a pre-inspection and that I wouldn't be getting any repairs done there. I asked how much it would be and the guy said don't worry about it, they don't charge for inspections. I offered again to pay for their time and he refused. I think that says a lot. I live in Memphis and am tempted to bring my car to West Virginia to have any work done on it.

I stopped in for an oil change since I am too far away from home to do it myself. Cool place, neat display of rims in the waiting area and the people were friendly. However, after driving home I noticed my oil had been leaking. I assume it was probably the filter screwed on incorrectly. Stuff happens. I call and explain the situation and their reply was "they wouldn't do that." (They did ask me to come the next day so they could look at it) I understand defending your employees, but the lack of responsibility taken by this person was unsettling to say the least. If they can mess up and not take ownership of a simple oil change, should you trust them with something larger? I will update this at a later time. Only one person spoke with me. Maybe the others will be more understanding.

Dinsmore provides quick, efficient, friendly service. I had arrived at Monro Auto down the road at 7:30 a.m., the Monro opening time (listed online and on their door). The Monro people arrived at 7:51 and ignored the line at the door. So I went to Dinsmore instead. They open at 8, but took me in as soon as I arrived at 7:55. I was out the door by 8:15 after an oil change and tire rotation. Dinsmore has my business for any of the services they provide.

I normally go there alot since my alignment was messed up and buy used tires regularly...but this time I went there to get my tire plugged up because it had a REALLY slow leak...They charged me $28 to do that...what a rip off considering they charge you $20 for a tire and $40 for a tire and mount...for all that, I could've either put $12 with the $28 and bought another good used tire or just went to a nearby gas station and put air in my tire for $1 and then go and buy fix a flat for a few more dollars to seal up a small leak that existed. Don't ever get your tire plugged up there, you're better off buying a plug kit or fix a flat until you can afford to buy either a used tire or a new one. Nothing against the employees there who do the work because those guys are awesome...But they SERIOUSLY need to do something about that price because it's ridiculous to pay more for a plug than the actual tire

Went there to get my tires changed on my Avalanche and they can offer low tire prices because they buy in bulk so I paid $100 less total than I would have anywhere else for new tires! I called the evening before at 5:46PM (Wed-10th) and they actually answered the phone eventhough they closed at 6:00PM. All of my questions were answered, I wasn't even rushed. The next day (Thurs-11th), I took my car in to have 4 new tires put on for 90 bucks each installed (can't beat that for the brand), an oil change (none of that recycled crap) unless you're into that sort of thing, and the brakes/rotors checked. By the way...this was all completed in less than 45 minutes and I was told my brakes were fine although I will want to get rotors on the next brake change. The only reason I gave the place a try was because my brother tried them out first and was very pleased. I am glad that he did, because I was able to get a great deal too. Trust me, I am always judging due to my occupation. Drug Front...? Come on now and/or So what.....Stop posting on your competition Street Dreamz! Haha

First and foremost, I am not an employee or never have been. I have had nothing but great service from Rich and his crew. After moving to Morgantown 6 years ago and being scammed by places like JiffyLube and other commercial "cheap, quick and easy" businesses, I decided to go with a locally owned and managed shop. They have done every single oil change to two vehicles I've owned over the past 5 years in a timely manner. They've helped me repair a busted rim, and even installed a trailer hitch on my jeep. There were some complications with the hitch (a Jeep with 10 yrs worth of rust), but they were honest with me from the get go, exhausted all options, and even gave me an unnecessary discount. I was not expecting it at all! Any other shop would have just left it, not said a word, and charged as much as possible. Rich is a kind and hardworking business owner and has an awesome crew! I am more than happy to leave a 5 star review for this establishment. I've been referring them to friends since my first encounter.

I think the owner and employees are providing feedback on here to make this place look awesome. Never leave your home keys on your key ring to get your car worked on if don't want robbed and your extra keys cut. Don't take anything in there to sell rich will hold on to it, then weeks go bye and no calls then you go in and ask and get a "dumb excuse" my guy in pa has them and you will get your money? Do you think i got a dime ZERO! nothing. This business is shady as hell please avoid this business " if it looks ghetto it is ". I'm also positive these mechanics are not ASE certified and have no business under a hood but do an oil change and that's not to tough. I did buy a set of HID's for my car here and got them installed and one relay didn't work and they looked cheap and crappy. AVOID THIS BUSINESS!!!!

DO NOT TAKE ANY VEHICLE HERE!! I agree with an above review about them not doing their homework when they order parts. They ordered the wrong motor for my car and then when it came in they had to do all this work to fix it before they could even put it in my car. How did they not know this motor needed work? If we had known that, we would not have agreed to order that particular one. Not only that, your estimate will be completely off of what you actually pay. I got charged over $1,000 MORE than the original estimate. They also did not do two things I asked and were scrambling to get it together when I was supposed to be picking it up. They had my car for almost 3 weeks after they told me it would be fixed in 1. They are shady people and the old lady at the front is nasty and rude.

So I have been going to this shop for years. Every time I need a repair or a new tire, I would go there. Well today I woke up to a flat tire and decided to get it fixed. They close at 1pm on Saturday. I showed up at 12:50 and asked for them to fix my tire and showed my sympathy for showing up right before they were to close. They were more than happy to swipe one more card before closing. However when they fixed my tire, they proceeded to hand me my fixed tire. They refused to put my tire back on my car because they "were about to close". After arguing that he was not going to put the tire on it took them less than 1 minute to put the tire on after debate. So after all the loyalty I showed by continuing to come to this shop, I couldn't get a simple job done without hassle.

Good, honest service. I've taken my truck there for a variety of reasons. Most recently, I had my truck towed to another repair shop that barely looked at it and still charged me a $90 diagnostic fee and couldn't even fix it. Dinsmore had no problem doing the work and at a fair price. I'll continue giving them my business!

Friendly staff. Quick and reliable. Decent prices. I had a slow leak in my tire. I pulled in and they had my tire off and took the screw out of it and plugging it within 1 minute of being there! Awesome people

They are quick to help me out but they told me my chevy malibu only had one catalytic converter. This is false and it has two. Now this was a while ago but they also sold "half brakes" to my girlfriend. Which were "cheaper". If you're wondering they are used brakes and didn't tell her what they were. They lasted her a few months before they were completely gone. And yes she was alone and yes she knows nothing about cars. Now they are good about tires if you're in a pinch but wouldn't recommend for anything else but that.
