These guys were great! They hooked me up with a great set of year round tires that eat up the snow!
These guys handle all my tire needs....they are awesome
Great service,fair price
Great service, warranties, and prices. They listen to your needs instead of trying to immediately up sell. Highly recommended, and a place with strong local roots.
Good guys here
Beware!! I called told them I had bought some tires and wanted a quote to get them mounted. I came in the next day and when I told them why I was there the front desk guy say “what we’re you quoted?” Seemed strange but I told him I was quoted $60 with $10 to get rid of the old ones. He say “no that for putting on used tires, to put new ones that you bought from somewhere else was $180.” That’s right more then double. I asked what the difference was between putting on used tires and new ones, he replied with that was their policy. So I took my car to Aztecas in Union Gap. $60 out the door and that’s what I was quoted over the phone.
Joel's tires had great customer service and thorough repair. My technician Jason took good care of my vehicle. He took his time to explain what would happen to my vehicle, worked on it till it was right and ensured I was satisfied. He was also upfront on my quote explaining "that they only use premium parts" so I wouldn't be too shocked at the price. Though it was a bit pricey, I felt listen to, treated well and left with all my concerns addressed. Thank you Jason @ Joel's Tires.
I have used Joel's Tires a couple of times, very friendly and knowledgeable. Today was the first time I've been irritated with them. I bought my truck a couple years ago and the dealership that I bought it from told me that Joel's done the lift and also installed the tires. About 6 months after I bought the truck the tire pressure light came on, I checked the pressure regularly. I took the truck in today to have the sensors checked and was told that one of them were bad, I told them to fix it. The guy went out and changed it, then came back in and told me that whoever put them in programmed two of them as the same tire. I informed him that it was them, he went out and talked to his boss (I'm guessing), he came back and told me that since I bought it from the dealership that the parts were not covered even though they did install them. I worked out the money for them to be done correctly (they should have been done correctly in the first place).
Came in w/2 flat tires on 1st day of Maiden Voyage Vacation w/Trailer!!! Blew them on white pass, hobbeled in and Daniel helped us out immediately!!! Fantastic prices and team !!!
Great good people and fair prices
Highly recommended, great service! Broke down at 5pm and they were able to find us a tire and out of there by 12 the next day! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
Top rate
Quality spot located just off 40th and the freeway in Yakima. I needed a set of winter tires on fairly short order, and these guys were able to get what I needed and get the tires put on in very quick fashion! These guys really easy to work with over the phone, or able to get something from out of town and delivered within 24 hours. They called me when the tires were in, and were able to get me in right away to get them put on the car. They were super professional, and made the experience about as painless as it could’ve been. The physical layout of the place is very nice as well. I’ve got plenty of tires to browse through, lots of space to hang out while you’re waiting, and a good amount of coffee. The only thing that could be improved upon, is having some snacks available while you wait, but it’s definitely not a huge priority. They will also store your tires for you, for $50 a year - a Nice option as I probably wouldn’t let you store your tires in my garage for less than five dollars per month! All in all, we were really happy with our experience. The tires are a little more expensive than elsewhere, but Was well worth the price difference for the customer service. This is definitely our go to spot from now on!
As always, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I'LL use this them again in the future
Apparently I've had a different experience than a lot of others here! In my opinion, Joels in the best tire place in town! The selection of tires is solid - they have both new and used tires which can help you get decent tires with your budget. The same goes for rims, floor mats, and other accessories. They can get basically any brand of tires, except Toyo. Obviously you should do your homework, but I've found their prices competitive. I use Joels primarily for switching out snow tires and summer tires. Storage of your tires is now $50 per year, which is still pretty fair. It used to be free, but they had someone break in and steal a bunch of tires - jumping up insurance costs. I figure about $1/tire/month is about right. If you purchased your tires here, they will change them out for free IF you have them on rims. If not, it's $70.34 (after tax) for a car and a little more for a light truck. For me, it made sense to buy some rims and put my snow tires on. I always call in ahead to see how crazy it is. If you show up at 2pm on the first Saturday after it snowed, good luck! This weekend they got my in/out in about an hour, which was a bit longer than normal. There is a waiting area fine - not overly comfortable, but there are magazines, a 32" TV, and free WiFi. They had everything I need! For kiddos, they have some toys that they can play with while they are here! For solid service at a reasonable price, look no further! They'll take care of you at Joels!
The minute I walked in the service personal were amazing, the gentleman name Jason (mechanic) I met, he was so helpful and I thank you for the amazing service!!! I Highly recommend to future pharmacy students (WSU). Thank you!
It is what it is. Said i needed 4 new tires. Said inside wear on all. Took to dealership where I bought the truck, said one tire worn needed alignment. Plus they took out nail that I originally went there for.
service alright and they are definitely not the most economical option.
Joel's tire has become the worst tire shop this side of the Cascades. Two years ago I bought tires and wheels from them. By there recommendation I bought the tires they recommended. They were the worst tires I have ever had on a vehicle. They were so bad I went back to Joel's complaining and they assured me the tire's were not the problem. I asked them to inspect the suspension and repair what they felt was the problem. They charged me for work they did not do the my suspension, this was confirmed by another mechanic shop in town. They also stripped a lug nut stud and failed to tell me this also confirmed by another mechanic shop that replaced said lug stud.
Good service Great people
I went in to have a screw removed from my tire. They checked it quickly and their was no damage to the tire. I'm in desperate need of a new set of tires and they didn't even ask me about new tires. I would of thought they'd try to sell me some tires but not a word, which I thought was strange considering my tires are bad.
I would like to give special thanks to Joel’s tire company at 1203 n 40th ave. I had an issue with a set of tires from another store that were not being addressed. I was not in the best of moods upon entering their shop. Lucky for me i was greeted with a warm smile from the lovely office manager. The assistant manager Cody wilkerson was there to help me, he was very kind, patient, and helpful. He patiently listened to my issue and came up with a wonderful plan. I can out of this situation more than satisfied, I will be coming back to this tire store for any future tire purchases. Thanks again Cody, and all the employees. At Joel’s tires. Sincerely, cpt. I have had nothing but the best service from Joel's Tire. Friendly, quick, helpful and fast service. I would send anyone to Joel's Tire
Fast and friendly!
A great place for commercial truck tire service. WTI - Washington Compost
Very affordable friendly efficient.
Good
Wow! I went in with the worst fears. I know nothing about cars and was prepared to spend 500 bucks for breaks lol I got a call my breaks are fine had a screw in my tire and received free flat repair and an honest oppinion. I'm so greatful! Hard to find honest mechanics look no further!
They did a great job with servicing my truck.
Went in as i had an issue with a leak in the valve stem, that needed to be replaced and/or repaired, Guy inspected the tire, said i needed a new tire, since it was worn out and completely stripped from the inside. They had a line of vehicles and seem that they were quite busy, i'm assuming they though this was a small job, that would not benefit the business, therefore they try to find an excuse. I went to another tire shop, told them my issue and they fixed it within 10 min. indeed it was an issue with the valve steam leak. its been nearly a month, and I drive my truck daily. If it had been the what they initially said, i would assume that the air would have escaped at least a bit. My air pressure remains the same since i fix the air leak in the valve stem. I like giving local family own businesses a chance, but wont be returning at all. there shouldn't be a job to small or to big to take care of people's needs.
Amazing customer service, Bill was very helpful and kind
Excellent place to buy tires for your vechicle a very friendly staff.
Friendly
Expensive
Great customer service
One of the worst places in town for any type of work to be done on your vehicle. The customer service is terrible and their prices are outrageous for what they do offer.
Very professional
Yet another one of those local businesses that no matter the length of time since I last visited, are always happy to catch up for a minute, and remind me that they are stocking my hard-to-find trailer tires just in case...
Great customer service as always !!
Great. Been going there for 4 yrs. They definatly have me as their customer. Great guys on the floor, helping out and answering questions.
The older techs know what they are doing the young bucks will mess up your stuff be careful who works on your car here
Absolutely awesome place. Stopped in early one morning, no appointment, asked for my tires to be rebalanced and rotated. I didn't buy them here, cost me $55. Half what the place I bought the damn tires from wanted to charge me and I would have had to make an appointment for a week later. Joel's tire shop has also helped me with my lawn tractor tires, matched price of other place in town. Awesome awesome tire shop.
Excellent prices
Checked our existing tire chains for FREE by actually putting them on a new van. The size listed on the chains did not match our tire size, but the tech felt they might still fit. So he did the free check INSTEAD of selling me new tire chains. They fit so "no sale". He said " It's more important to be a true human being then to make a sale." WELL DONE!
Excellent service
Fast friendly service! Who could ask for more! I will definitely be back.
I always get good service here.
Their customer service failed. Needed alignment and a lug nut stud replaced. 3 hours! Lack of communication. Damaged back brakes. No 'sorry' for taking so long. No 'sorry' for damaging the brakes. Van was back in less than an hour later because of the brake issue. But they wanted to blame the grinding sound on the brakes. And they need replaced. Hint: if it's going to take longer or an issue arises; keep the customer informed.
Shady is the day as long tried to charge me $145 a tire because I bought my tires online so they refused to mount and balance them said that I shouldn't be using the internet to buy tires
I decided to go to Joel's to get my 4 studded tires on for the winter. I was able to get in quickly and come to find out, last spring when Les Schwab took my tires off, they shredded the inside of one tire while dismounting it off the wheel. So now, 8 months later (they've been sitting in my storage unit in bags since then), I find this out and Joel's orders me a new tire and gives me a discount for switching over to them and for the trouble. Their service was steller and I am now a customer that will definitely be going back. Thank you Joel's for a great job when the "other guys" didn't do theirs.
Fast service and best price in town.
