I have gone to eagle tire the past 3 years after ski season to get my winter tire and wheels swapped out for my summer wheels and tires. I was not in the system today when I went back not a big deal at all. Then as I was being entered in the system I was asked for my address and did not want to give it out. I was told they could not do the work unless I gave a correct address. I took my business somewhere else

TL;DR: They give you conflicting info and are overly aggressive. Clients here will be man-splained to until the staff feel they've asserted their dominance. Don't use this place for tire repairs/replacements. Prepare to be man-splained and fed conflicting information about payment status! I told them that my insurance would pay them directly and that there was a stop-payment issued on the check that was sent to me, and they told me they'd call when they received payment. The next day Eagle Tire tell me everything is good and to pick up my car. Because of my partner's work schedule and my lack of car, I went to pick it up the next day, driving 30mins out to get there. They then tell me that they haven't received a payment and that they can't release my car! Strike #1 for making me drive out there expecting to leave with my car because they told me that I could and wasting over an hour of driving. Here's the worst part, however: the entire time I'm talking to them, they're being overly aggressive and man-splaining to me why they can't release the car. I counted how many times the phrase "you can't leave with the car until we've received payment" was said to me by the men there: eight times. After the first time, I acknowledged that I'd talk to my insurance and get an update for them. They didn't have to bash me over the head with the same information an additional seven times! Strike #2 for terrible communication and tact. I'm going to come back to this review after I get the car. We'll see how terrible they are then and if they get an additional strike, and therefore an additional family-wide boycott, then.

Worst customer service I have ever encountered. The person working the front desk seemed utterly clueless about brakes or cars in general. When I got my car back from them there was oil stains all over. It looked like they tried to clean the spills but it just made it worse. Don't waste your time or money on this place

I went in on a Saturday a month ago when I smelled my brakes burning. The gentleman at the counter was polite as I explained the situation. I asked if he'd be willing to take a look and he declined. He wouldn't even step outside. He proceeded to tell me it would be a $ 1800 repair. How would he know? He never even glanced. Anyone who quotes pricing without looking should be avoided. I'd rather be told they're simply not interested in my repair job. I did not get his name but I wanted to give at least 2 stars for being polite.

I had a bolt in my tire. I went to another tire place first who said my tread was too worn to repair then continued to give me a quote of ~$325 for a new pair of rear tires that didn't match my OEM existing tires. I then went to Eagle Tire. Not only were they able to repair my tire which was not too worn, they also gave me a quote of $222 for a pair of new tires that are an exact match for my OEM tires. When I called them, the scheduled me even though I was coming in within the hour. When I got there, they were ready for me and got the tire repaired very quickly. It was a pleasure dealing with them!

They are very good and timely with repairs, communicate clearly, provide necessary detail so you can make an informed decision. I have been going to Federal Way Eagle for years and obviously trust them to work on my vehicle(s) since I keep going back. That means something. It's expensive no matter where you go when it comes to auto repair - it's the nature of the beast, ugh. Yes, they do try to upsell a bit (as a consumer that's part of the reason why we are responsible for asking questions--it's on us to make sure we understand what is being offered & understand what is needed, what's a safety issue, and what's a nice-to-have and they explain everything quite well). I have yet to go to any repair shop, retail store, or restaurant, for that matter, where I have not experienced at least some measure of upsell. Bottom line: they are professional, friendly, do good work and stand by their work. Fyi, I have no vested interest in giving a review. I decided recently that I was going to write more reviews because I use others' reviews/find them helpful and figure I should contribute to that system if I'm going to use it. And as a customer, I think it's important to give feedback.

Took my car in for an oil change. Called me two hours later saying they did a "brake inspection" and everything broke into pieces upon inspection and they can't put it back together unless they were replaced, by them of course. So I had no way of driving my my car out of there unless I paid up. I never asked them to check my brakes and I just checked them not even two weeks before when I purchased the car and they were fine. Complete scam job. They got me for 400 bucks that day but I will make sure they never get another penny from anyone I know. Many other people share similar stories when I tell them about this. Avoid this place at all costs.

From the day I "discovered" them at their old location these guys have been our go to place for repairs. They have never let us down, always get things done on time and on budget/estimate. They are so honesty and upfront with their customers that when I need struts all the way around on my Maxima, they gave me an estimate and then told me to go to Les Schwab because they had a better quality strut at a better price. These people might seem nice, but I am known as the car guy where I work, and I have saved three of my co-workers several thousand dollars in repairs these people told them they needed and wanted to overcharge them for. One lady had a Chrysler and was quoted $800 for repairs I steered her to another shop that did them for $300. A second co-worker was quoted $1500 for his subaru, I steered him to another shop that charged him $460 and a third co-worker was told she need $1800 in repairs on her BMW, I looked at her car it needed NOTHING and took it to another shop to confirm it needed nothing. Obviously this shop wants your money, all of it. I would not even enter in the door of this business unless you are a millionaire and don't care about throwing your money away. If they give you a quote, go elsewhere to a reputable honest repair facility and keep your hard earned cash.

I called yesterday to ask if I can bring my car by to have a noise checked out and diagnosed and I was told it was OK to bring it by today when I went to drop the car off I was told it was a $120 for them to diagnose the noise which is not something they shared with me. I called another other shop and they were willing to diagnose for free.
