So, I brought my 2015 Mustang GT into their shop on Feburary 27th, 2019. I had hit a pothole and bent two rims in the process. I had a falling out with them because of a rude manager and them admitting to price gouging. No big deal, I'll fix it myself. I got my Mustang home and realized they stripped 10 of 10 lug nuts they tried to remove because they used a 13/16 socket instead of the correct 22mm socket. When politely confronted about this, they immediately told me that someone must have tried to steal my two bent, scuffed, destroyed wheels, yet left the two perfectly good wheels completely alone and never attempted to steal those with the incorrect socket. It certainly wasn't the strung out looking mechanic they had working on my car, he certainly wouldn't have tried to force an imperial socket on a metric lug and deformed my lugnuts to the point of needing a professional to fix them. The damage done to the 10 lug nuts they stripped was very clearly done by an air wrench, something thieves don't typically carry around. When the vehicle was towed back to my house, the lug nuts on just the two flat tires were finger tightened, the 10 on the two good tires were very clearly not touched, and required a breaking bar on a wrench to loosen. These people just lied to me straight to my face to avoid having to pay for a $40 mistake. Do you really think they wouldn't lie to you about needing an extra $500 worth of work done? I certainly don't. Don't go here. They lie. They price gouge. The management is rude. They've got some dude in the back using pills working there. It's a bit of hike, and they're always busy, but go check out Action Auto. They're reasonable, honest, hardworking, and nobody there has an opiate problem.

As a woman who has been burned by lieing mechanics in the past, I can tell you that these guys are extremely honest. If they check your vehicle and determine you don't need service will will say so. Sad to say, most other places will charge you to even look and will make up a repair just to take your money. Not these guys - time and time again I've been waiting on my car and over heard them dealing with other customers. They are extremely fair and honest. Highly recommend you go no where else but here!

I have been going to Tire Tread for many years and have used a variety of their services. I have always felt that they are looking out for me. At my last visit, I had them check my tire where I had gouged the sidewall. It was safe to drive unless I had some trips this summer. Of course, I had a trip planned in two days. They ordered the tire and the next day on my lunch break they installed them. Customer service is number one! I recommend them highly!

A good place for tires, but have had issues on two cars state inspections that I had done there. Both times I was given a laundry list of reasons why the cars failed. Taking them elsewhere the mechanics found a lot of those issues to be false and/or within regulation standards. I would have spent a fortune fixing things that were fine. Not calling them liars, but maybe they was just some human error or just being a bit too nit picky. I'll be a repeat customer for tires though.

Went in for oil change, was told my drain plug was stripped and unable to be removed, and that they didnt want to "deal" with it.They left my oil cap on top of radiator and closed hood on it. Minor damage, but still could have been avoided if they took there time.

Took a tire to this company for a nail and they said the tire needed to be replaced for almost $200 all because they said it "could not be patched due to the nail being in the side of the tread ". I took it to Goodyear and within 30 minutes it was patched and has held for 2 months (still holding now!). This company is not reputable and will try to make money off you.

Went here to get my inspection done because it was close by and had good reviews. The guy took about an hour between walking in and out of the garage to eat food, even though that's not really the part that deserved this rating. He failed my inspection based on my two front tires supposedly both needing to be replaced. Now, I'm no tire expert, but even I can see how much tread I have left on my tires and that they still have a lot of mileage on them. So I took it to Radley Cheverlot (where I bought my car) a few days later and as soon as I told them what the first guy failed me on, they looked over both front tires with a flashlight all around and saw no reason at all to fail me based on the tires. The gentleman at Radley even told me to go to the State Police to rectify the phony inspection failure, but the $36 I ate to get that wasn't worth it to me to bother the State Police with this issue. The gentleman at Radley spoke very highly of the owner of Tire Tread Service and his son. That he had been doing business with them for 20+ years and they never let him down and I'm sure that's 100% accurate, but as in any business, there's always people that work under professional management that don't hold the same standard, hence this rating. I'm only posting this in hopes of others seeing it that are looking to get their inspection done; I would look elsewhere.

Let me say, Kevin P and the guys there do a great job. This place is the best we had a car at another shop and had it towed down to Tire Tread for a few reasons 1. It was cheaper and they aren't about screwing people over on parts and labor like the other shop was trying to do. 2. They are very honest and easy to deal with no guessing games or surprises the whole time our car was there we knew what was going on with it and if something came up we knew right away. 3. Not only did they fix the car we originally brought in we sent our car that broke down the same week as the one in the shop to them and they have been super to work with on this one as well. We have used them several times and matter of fact most of the family does because they are so well to work with and you don't have to worry about getting taken advantage of.

My company has been taking vehicles here for inspections, alignments and tires for the last 12-14 years. I've have been taking my personal vehicles here for the same items the same amount of time. Never been done wrong by any of them. Inspector is extremely fair unless you start getting pushy with him. He is much more fair than the previous place we used. He isn't going to pass an item that is borderline unless he is certain it's safe, he's thinking of YOUR safety while driving! He found A arms that needed replacing on my wife's car once. It was a wonder either side hadn't broke loose and caused her to crash when I replaced them. Another time he found a small patch on a tire that was ready to blow, I had looked the car over but that patch must have been sitting on the ground unsighted by me. Tire Tread is a very popular place, busy all the time. Do not be surprised if you walk in and find yourself waiting 2-3 hours at times. They move as quickly as they can to get you in and out. They also do road calls for heavy trucks, extremely fast service to get you going again once they get on site.

Came into the shop to get a wheel alignment. Was planning to drop the car off and walk around downtown with my 4 and 2 year old kids but it was a little cold and wet. Chris was the gentleman who checked me in and recommended either the 2400 Diner or Mason-Dixon cafe if we were looking for a place to eat. I decided to go to Mason-Dixon cafe and I was notified 45 after we left that my vehicle was available for pickup. We hadn't even finished our meals yet! I chose this shop because they were the only ones that I could find that publicized they used a Hunter wheel alignment machine. The price was great, cheaper than any of the franchise auto shops that I called. Be forewarned that you'll need an appointment for a wheel alignment. They seem to have a single bay dedicated to wheel alignment and it always seems there's always a car getting an alignment. The only downside is they don't have a lot of parking available on the lot, but that's the case for almost any business in downtown. Street parking is available though. I'm fairly confident I'd take my vehicle here for other services like state inspection but I live on the opposite side of Route 3 near Harrison Crossing so it's just more convenient to travel to the local shop. Would definitely bring my vehicle back if I needed another alignment though.

Best example of customer service I have seen anywhere. I've been here a few times and they are always very pleasant. Today I went in for my inspection and they said it would be about 2hrs, which was fine because they were packed. I grab a seat and started watching Netflix. Two ladies came in and I got up so they could have a seat beside each other because the only other open seat was beside me. Went over and set down on the floor by the door and went right back to my Netflixs. Not a moment later a gentleman came over and offered me a chair, and another and another. One even brought one over to me. By gentleman I mean the employees. Not just the front office guys but the mechanics in the back as well. I politely refused. I was fine where I was. The whole point of this post is that these men are wonderful. Nice for no other reason then the fact that they are good ppl. Special thanks to the gentleman that did my inspection. He was wonderful.... so happy to finally find a honest trustworthy place to go when I need something fixed or an inspection!
