One day I hear a screeching sound, the next my car just completely stopped working in the Chicfila drive threw, with my 2.5 yo grandson in the backseat. Thankfully, I wasn't far from home, and I had family to come help get my car started again. I took my car straight to Old Dominion, I thought it might take 2 days, it took one. When they called to let me know it was ready, they mentioned my inspection was due next month, asked if I'd like them to do the inspection now. This is my second year back in Va. dealing with inspections. I loath that I have to do it, loath having to remember to deal with it, the added cost to my yearly budget, etc. I can say, personally, I appreciate the technician noticing, and mentioning the impending need. It is a relief to have the inspection complete and off my calendar of things to do. That said Old Dominion did not try in the least to sell me on anything else, with 70,000 miles, I'm sure they could have found a thing or 2 they could have convinced me needed to be done. I am female, I have been sold in the past, loath that too. Yes, ignorance can make people a good mark. I greatly appreciate the integrity, efficiency, and consideration Old Dominion has shown. I trust OD with my car repairs. I will return when I need work done in the future. Also, when I returned to pick up my car, Jeremy, had applied a coupon, or sale of some sort that I was not aware of. He doesn't know me, I'm sure he hears a lot of difficult situations related to people's ability to pay. We had to apply this work to a credit card, which just makes me sick. Even a minor discount is very much appreciated. Thank you Old Dominion.
