I have had my vehicle towed to JRs twice. It took a month for them to finally look at the van. Each time a different diagnosis and each time the vehicle exhibited the exact same signs and quit running I have had it towed for the 3rd time! Thank goodness my patients get better diagnosis and treatment! Towed to somewhere else!

My car failed inspection. JR's was suggested to me by the dealership, if fact they took my car there. None of the work or charges were approved by me the owner of the vehicle. It needed brake shoes and the exhaust had a leak which I knew from the failed inspection. Jr's inspected it and passed it knowing that it still had an exhaust leak. They put putty on the the area that was leaking. That is not a permanent solution. The place that did the original inspection will be cleaning up the mess Jr's created. Don't suggest taking your car here if you know you need repairs. They will do the easiest temporary fix knowing it isn't safe for the road or the driver!!

I was in town for the week from Florida and my tires and front end just felt wrong. I was leaving in a day and they got me right in. They went over the car and found nothing wrong, could just be the difference in temperature. They charged me a small fee and gave me peace of mind. They could have charged me for all kinds of things but they didn't. They are honest which is a rarity. I highly recommend them. Thanks so much jr tires!

Details to come, if problems are not solve for crooked work. BBB will be notified and state police for inspection reason. Will update soon when stuff gets handled. Edit: owner and (workers) pretty much took advantage of a female customer... Car went in for inspection and tire if other jobs needed they would be called and notified.... They did a no call / No permission fixes for inspection brakes pads rotors master cylinder reservoir which was not damaged before bringing it there . Pad were replaced week prior coming there . Then they didn't ever fix the light for it to pass inspection. Bill that should have been 200 ish dollars went to $500 due to them doing work with out permission.. last time I checked that not legal. Then he didn't wanna fix the issue.. cursed ECT ... Next female customer went back owner gives her 150 dollar cusses her like a dog told her not to come back well to somewhat make it right he owes at least $292 for parts and labor that wasn't approved for the job... So taking advantage of a female and trying payoff the situation with less then owned back.. beware of the crooked company the other one grottoes wasn't no better. Ill be looking into contacting The BBB and have a follow up with the state trooper... See where it goes and figure out further actions . Slander etc .. Edited .master Cylinder was cut and was paid outta customer pocket. Edit:issues never was resolved... Piss poor owner . 06/08/2019 updated : another car these worked up has been broken and not repaired in their hands, didn't notify the owner they caused the cell come on ...not gonna get into the damage till this is either resolved or other matters have to happen... The Honda they weld exhaust on is fries due to hrs not probably preparing the car to weld car has to get a whole wiring harness. With all the issues from taking advantage of people, pushing vehicles try inspections broke when they were suppose to fix it and not making anything right..... I suggest to stay away from them unless you are trying to take them to court ... Garbage people and they don't try fixing issue they just tell you to leave... Maybe they will man up or shut there self down before they kill someone.

They replaced parts on my vehicle without advising what was wrong and fixed parts that didn't need replaced. Very disappointed with them. I specifically asked them to call after figuring out what was wrong it was a pin in the wheel assembly and I was charged for brakes and rotors! $315 the pin was only $20

I got a flat the other day and put my spare on first day off work today and my kids have dr appointments so was working with a limited schedule they asked me yo come in at 11 and they fixed my tire and put it on in under 15mins. I was so grateful. The staff was very nice and efficient.

Fast, friendly, affordable! Put a call into their shop in the morning, ordered 4 new tires. The tires were delivered and installed within 1 hour of my arrival late afternoon. I live approx 40 minutes away, and it's worth the drive to receive such great service!

Jrs Tires in Shenandoah is more than a tire shop. It is a great place to get the best service for your car. I don't know of anyone who put his heart into his work the way Jr. does. His wife, and family members run the front desk like a well-oiled machine. He is hands-on, and it is obvious that he trains his employees to produce excellent service, and he expects the best out of all of his mechanics and technicians, and it shows! I never drive away feeling like I am overcharged and underserviced. They are busy, so it's best to call for an appointment. I would not hesitate to refer everyone there.

JR Tire in Grottoes. I took my Volkswagon bug there to have the air condition repaired. I was told the compressor that had already recently been replaced was bad. It was still under full warranty, so there was no cost to me associated with replacing the compressor again. JR had my car for `10 weeks. We checked on it regularly and several times it was communicated they were waiting on parts. Finally after 10 weeks I was told my car was repaired. When it was picked up from their service center my air condition had the same problem as when I took it there. It wasn't cooling. I was told it was worked on for `8 hours troubleshooting and replacing the compressor. I was charged $112.00 for refrigerant and $450.00 labor for a problem that Still exist. I took it back to JR's again and told them my air condition still wasn't working. They kept my car another week plus. We went to check on it again and was told they didn't know what else to do but they couldn't get it to work. I picked my car up with the same problems it had when I took it there. Now 11 weeks later and out of hundreds of dollars. I would never recommend Jr service center in Grottoes. Friendly faces but a horrible experience. At best I should not have been charged labor for a service I never received.

Done business before been great. Last two times however they blew it! Told us we needed all new a/c in car $6-700 , took it somewhere else all it needed was freon strike1 (kinda done right there). I called to get a qoute on some wheels had to call me back( cant look it up on computer right there in front of you !!??) Never did call back. Rebecca doesnt know about cars all she does is relay messages. We are DONE AND DONE!
