Freddy said that I would feel it and boy was he right. My truck used to drive really hard. I just thought that was the way it was supposed to be. Now it drives so smooth, like a brand new vehicle. Went to get a state inspection Monday afternoon from this establishment. Made an appointment Saturday afternoon before. I filled out the appointment form as said to do for 2:00. At the bottom I typed two words State Inspection as asked for reason. I recieved an email same day stating i will be contacted by email or telephone for confirmation of time and date. Monday at work I informed my boss about the appointment. Around 11:00 i recieved an email informing me that my appointment was good for today at 3:00. So at 2:00 I left work in Norfolk and arrived at the shop a little after 2:30. I approched the desk after waiting for the customer ahead of me. The man at the desk asked how he could help me. I told him I had an appointment at 3:00 so he had me fill out another form with my i formation and vehicle information I did as was instructed. Once I had filled out the form I handed it back. He then asked what I was here for and i told him i had the appointment for a state inspection. His response was we dont make appointments for state inspections. (Well i am not originally from Virginia and not from a state that has state inspections. Clearly someone made the appointment with me) He then tells me he can not get me in at all today. All in all i will not deal with any establishment that cant get there appointments/information to there customers correct. Never had anything done from them before so cant tell you how well there work is. This is just my experience with them. My only suggestion is if you decide to you this shop in the future and make any appointments with them. I would call ahead before you make the trip and save you a drive and headache.

If you are buying a used car I definitely recommend you go to them. They will tell you whether or not to buy it because you are their customer. These guys are quick and they are nice to the customer. But, of course, there is much more to an auto shop than that. They totally misdiagnosed my 2008 Chrysler Sebring Convertible. I brought it in for a flashing check engine light and they made $1200 worth of repairs. However, the repairs did not fix the problem. The flashing check engine light came back on. So, since they guarantee lifetime repairs on the parts they install, I figured I would take my car in again. Welp, they basically told me that there was nothing wrong with my car and when I had had enough (at one point my car was out of coolant and they said they couldn't find the coolant leak...) I took it to a dealership. Welp, my engine was totally unsalvageable, the engine cabinet was warped, and my coolant line was leaking in two different places. So much for "car care." Needless to say, I had to get a new car.

Mr Fred & 'family' are good, solid people with a rare quality especially, in business...INTEGRITY! Perfect name for this place. I brought in my 20+ year old Honda for an inspection. I've owned this car for one year, only drivable one week! It took this long for me to fix some problems on my own. No money==slower to fix. Long story short, there were major problems (in the safety of driving) that I couldn't see & Fred took the time to explain them. He knew that I hadn't had a working car for a very long time & once the parts came in, his son actually worked til 11pm so I could pick up my baby in the A.M!! Fred is a great mechanic and helped me tremendously. I was initially quoted at $800 for brake work, however I explained to him that I had no were near that amount and was about to relocate to California. Thankfully Fred worked with me and only charged me $300 for the work. In addition they left me spare parts to repair my other brakes on the future. This is by far the best service I've received from an auto mechanic. Let these guys repair your car with confidence that the job will be done right and for the best price on Hampton roads!!!! For a 145 dollars I got a two line write up on the reason I brought it there. An one line was to tell me the cost of 2,400. If you think that is fair pricing than by all means use them.

The shop couldn't have been given a more accurate name, "Integrity." After being ripped off so many times by other various (and local) car places and not having much money, I never thought I'd find a car place that actually cared for anything outside of what was going in their pocket. Thankfully, my dad discovered Integrity and said he trusts them. For my dad to say such a thing (as he trusts NO ONE), I knew I needed to give things a try. Now, my entire family goes and not a single one of us has had a bad experience or regretted anything. Actually, quite the contrary. We've all walked away saving hundreds or in my recent situation, about a thousand dollars compared to quotes from other shops and we've never had any issues with any of the repairs, etc. Honesty is the best policy and I can assure you, although not as much money came in for repairs, more money will be coming yall's way in customer service as we recommend yall to anyone and everyone. Good, honest people deserving of the business.

While car repairs can be a pain and depending on your situation, stressful, it's comforting knowing when you take your car someplace where they fix it right so your not in the same position 2 weeks later. The team at this shop have proven to me that they are the best in the area. They have taken great care of my car and only give me recommendations that make sense. Came in for a state inspection. Failed for broken motor mount, wore down tire, some play in one of the hubs, seized brake caliper, and tag light out. I was pretty irritated because the part about the play in the hub was very general and I was assuming they meant repair a wheel bearing or hub assembly but wasn't sure but I was quoted a little over a 1000 dollars just to fix the hub and calipers so I left. I replaced the tag light but I had just got the motor mount replaced a couple months before so I took it to the place I had the warranty with. They said it seemed odd that I failed for that since it was so recent that I had work done on the mounts. They decided to do a little Pre inspection of their own and come to find out that the tire is fine as is, the caliper is not siezed up, motor mounts looked great, but the "play in the hub" was actually not in the hub at all, after looking closer and showing me the issue they discovered a bad control arm bushing which would move when the car was put into gear. After replacing that the car passed inspection just fine, which came out to be much cheaper than I was previously quoted by this place. This place had good reviews so I thought I'd give it a shot but after this fiasco I don't think I'll be back.

I brought my van to this place because of the good reviews last year. What a mistake! I brought my van in because it was making this strange noise when I started it up and drove for a few minutes. I asked them to do a diagnosis to figure out what it was because I had no idea. Well for starters they kept my van for over a week! Every time I called to get an update they had a new excuse why they haven't got to my van yet. Finally they called and told me my car was leaking and that they didn't hear any noises, they told me they were going to put dye in it to figure out what was leaking and for me to bring it back in 2-3 days. As soon as I picked my van up and stared down the street I heard the noise again. I found it hard to believe that they didn't hear the noise unless they NEVER even test drove it to actually see what the problem was they charged me $90+ dollars to basically do NOTHING I WOULD NEVER BRING MY VEHICLE BACK HERE. WHAT A RIP OFF! Took my van to another shop and they told me right away that my cooling fan needed to be replaced, they fixed it and my van ran just fine! I'm a women and it's hard to find a decent shop that won't jerk you around turns out I put my trust in the wrong shop because they did exactly that!

Dear Car-Repair Shop Seekers, Amazing!! Wow.. so I booked a time for these guys to look at my hot rod....based on the crazy amount of strong reviews AND..... It is ALL true.. Dean is honest, to the point, and tells you what the best solution is for your vehicle. He even told me that I didn't need a part. Which is the polar opposite of another shop that was trying to rip a grand out of my pocket. Clean facility. Literally as I noticed the trash was barely full, they changed it! Really appreciated how my day completely turned around after coming here this morning. I had horrible service at a competitors shop and left as a result. I was unable to secure a ride after dropping off my vehicle for service and they offered to take me home and also sent an Uber out to pick me up the next morning. I really don’t understand how this place has such good ratings. That’s the only reason I went there. They told me the part to turn off my engine light was only $65 but when I got there it turned into $800. Now the car won’t start and I’m getting a flashing airbag light. I found a cut wire to my main harness that wasn’t there when I took it to them. You would be smart to stay away from this place.

After years of being ripped off by mechanic companies, I'm proud to be a customer of Integrity Car Care. As a female, it is not uncommon to be taken advantage of when it comes to auto repairs. The first time I stepped into Integrity, Billie not only thoroughly explained work and reasons for work but wasn't afraid to SHOW me on my own vehicle! Billie has since moved and now Fred has adopted me lol just like Billie, Fred provided the same exceptional customer service and transparency of what was recommended! I can go in for a simple oil change (unlike other shops), I have never felt pressured to do additional work. In the event they do see a concern, they will let me know the severity and a timetable of when it will become an issue (like break pads are low but it's not an emergency, just wanted to let me know). I just bought my daughter her first car as a right of passage for graduating high school and where was the first place I took it? I was in and out (came a few minutes after it opened on a Monday), watched TV while I waited in the lobby and drank the complimentary coffee. $20, with a few recommendations based on mileage. Honest, high-quality service at a great price! I brought my car to Integrity just a few days ago for a strange noise problem coming from my rear brakes. Being new to the area, I had previously used the Firestone down the street (never using that Firestone again). I had bad feelings about the honesty and quality of service I was receiving at Firestone, so I went into Integrity based off of the excellent reviews online. They were fantastic! Fixed my car quickly and professionally, and even found a few issues that Firestone had neglected to mention during my last few trips there. The friendly staff at Integrity corrected those additional issues for a price far lower than I would ever expect to get at Firestone, and my car is now driving as smoothly as ever. It is so nice to find a reliable, honest car care center, so I will absolutely be returning to Integrity Car Care for all of my car-related services and inspections!

I would not recommend anyone using this station for a car inspection. In preparation for this inspection I had over $800 in work done on the suspension and I had him check everything over. The only thing I had left were shocks. When I took it in for state inspection they failed me for sway bars. I took the car back to my mechanic and he could not find anything wrong with the sway bars, no play or movement, he brought me in and showed me. He is not a Virginia State inspection station, so to be sure, I took my car to a Goodyear station and they could not find anything wrong with the sway bars either. My response to this inspection station. Showing my wife the supposed defective parts does not provide anything, she doesn't know anything about cars. I'm considering contacting the state police, I still have the parts. I didn't say the parts were new, I said they were not defective and did not need replacing per my mechanic and Goodyear. Also, how do you photograph play in a part? They know what they are doing as far as cheating people, it is hard to prove play, it is not too much cost so that you don't question them. What they didn't count on was her husband was watching over the whole process the whole time and detected an issue with something that was recently checked. I watched these people take advantage of customers, I watched them scare a women half to death if she didn't get her timing chain replaced today. They told her she would blow up the motor if she didn't get it changed today. You know what I don't really care at this point, I just hope I saved someone from these untrustworthy people. I do believe they are taking advantage of women that don't seem to be comfortable with car issues. BTW I stated I needed shocks so not sure why he brought that up. Good luck to any customers, you have been warned!!

I have been using Integrity Care Care for about 10 months and have been very pleased with their quality of service and professionalism. During the hurricane one of our cars got flooded out in an intersection and had to be towed to Integrity. This was the perfect opportunity to be taken advantage of. They did not. Since the car was not hydrolocked it was salvageable and they worked the day to get the water out of the engine and had us back up and running for a very reasonable price. I would not take my cars anywhere else.

I'm surprised by how many good reviews this place has, I was not impressed at all, the service was bad, the guy at the register completely ignored my presence and was just plain out rude (short black haired male) and I paid them to find my problem, said it'll be $600 to replace my radiator but I didn't want to pay that price and after I told them I'll be taking my car back, they didn't have the same welcoming attitude anymore, they treated me like crap, I couldn't wait to get my car back and I ended up replacing it myself for $130, then turns out that wasn't even the problem. So I'm extremely disappointed and don't ever see myself returning there.

I was really impressed with these guys! I had an appointment yesterday to fix my AC. My AC magically started working again on the way to the shop. When I went in and told them what was going on, the AC mechanic Fred offered to take my car for a drive to see if I really needed to get it checked out before I actually spent any money. Come to find out, I didn't need it checked out and they were honest with me about it. The name "integrity" is appropriate for their name because they have a lot of it. The staff were extremely friendly as well. They are professionals. I've had negative experiences in the past with other mechanics and I tend to be nervous whenever I go to a mechanic for the first time. Needless to say, they left a great impression on me and I referred my fiancé to them for his vehicle. I would also recommend anyone that is looking for a mechanic to check them out.

I made an appointment and I was told it would take an hour if I would like to wait. They took me in on time and I was out in an hour. Very reasonable prices and exemplary customer service. Tim works the front and is also a go between with the technicians and kept me well informed of the progress. Everything was explained in detail and recommendations for upcoming inspection. As a side note, it was quite busy the day I was there and everyone was treated courteously. They will do there absolute best to accomodate you anyway possible. I will not hesitate to take our vehicles there again for work. Very trustworthy and genuine people which is hard to find anymore.

So I had curbed my wheel on my Subaru STI and had decided to purchase a new BBS rim to replace the curbed one so I could fix the rash and have an extra on hand. I showed up with an appointment and my car was taken right in. So I waited for over an hour for a simple swap of a tire on to the new rim and I could be on my way. Over and hour seems excessive for this. Not to mention on why the hood of my car was open. After it was all said and done. I inspected my wheel to make sure that they put the counter weights on the inside of the rim like I asked. Only to find that they had scratched my new rim pretty bad. A large chunk of paint and deep scratches over almost the whole radius of the rim. On top of that. They had done the same to the curbed rim that was originally on the car. Just not as bad. I will say that while my experience was really bad and that I will never go back. And to tell anyone who cares about the rims on their car to stay far far away. But I do have to say that after talking to the manger and showing him how bad the rim was damaged. That they are going to order me a new wheel and that a more competent person would do the mounting.

I went in for a normal state inspection. They tried to get me to pay 117 dollars for windshield wipers and signal lights. When asked if my signal lights were bad he told me no but they aren’t as yellow as they should be and needed to be changed. After getting my windshield wipers changed on my own. I am now being denied for full signal lights. The worst inspection I ever had. Sounds like they just want as much money as they can out of you.

Took my car here after I could not make it to my normal mechanic after incurring severe engine noise and warning messages about oil pressure. After speaking with Fred several times he assured me they'd look into it and it would be no problem. At no point during any of our three or four communications was anything communicated about a $150 charge for looking at the car. I have no problem paying for a car diagnosis, I understand time is money. But what I do have a problem with is a severe lack of communication and expectations. $150 is a great deal of money to me and I would have found another solution had this been communicated to me. One way or another, $150 for a 30 minute max diagnosis is absurd and unfair. I strongly feel taken advantage of and I would never recommend this shop to anyone. I do not believe there was any intentional wrongdoing but I will not be going back here. On top of this, the quote provided to me was $200 more than my normal mechanic. After speaking to my other mechanic they informed me the oil gasket and piping that did need to be replaced was in fact covered by Toyota as a manufacturers defect. Had I proceeded with Integrity I would have been out of pocket an unnecessary $550. I am no auto industry professional but I would expect a specialized shop like this would have had this intelligence to inform me. At least one would think that would be included in a $150 diagnosis.

I compared their offer with CostCo...Integrity gave me better tires, better price, and faster turnaround.
