Great experience at Discount Tire! I went there on Monday with a nail in one of my tires. Walmart in Virginia Beach had declined to repair it, and Discount Tire repaired it no charge saying that they hoped I would consider them for future business! I live in Canada, and offered to pay as I am not local to them but Victor said no. Flat was fixed for free within the hour and I was back on the road. Since my tires were down to 4-5/32 I decided to look at Discount Tire's web site and found that their prices were very competitive and decided to go back there and change my tires with them. I was again very satisfied with the service I received and the good pricing. Thanks.

I have been to tons of shops with my truck for various things and never have I ever been more satisfied with a shop. I came in to get a screw removed from my tire, the door was held open for me and I was greeted by helpful and respectful techs. With polished forged wheels, I asked that the techs be very careful with them as they’re very soft. The tech pulled a blanket from his own vehicle to set them on the table with and avoided touching the outer barrels and spokes of the wheel the whole time. The screw removal was free and I was provided with updates the whole time. I’m so impressed with these techs and their work ethic and will be returning for all tire and wheel related needs. Highly recommend!

I visited Discount Tire for the first time 18+ years ago for a flat tire that they fixed for FREE. I have been a loyal customer and have visited Discount Tire stores in CA, TX, GA, and now VA. One constant remains, their FANTASTIC customer service, which is second to none. As expected, this store did not disappoint either. Jose was amazing as he greeted me at the door and addressed my needs. They removed the nail, balanced and mounted my tire, reset the TPMS, and inspected/inflated all my tires for FREE! I went in on my lunch break to have a tire checked to see if my tire could be patched or needed to be replaced. I was greeting by Nick Sharrow who was pleasant and very helpful. He made it possible for me to be in and out in 45 minutes since I was short on time. I expressed concern to the tech working on my car about another problem I was having and he checked it out and corrected it for me (small issue) without charging me extra since it was a quick fix that didn't require parts. Today was the day. . the day I had to become responsible. After leaving my car dealership a couple months ago after an oil change and tire rotation I was told I needed new tires. *sigh*. It's something that everyone doesn't want to hear, however everyone knows it needs to happen sooner or later. My dad has been telling me about this shop and their great prices. I came in & was helped by Sean. He helped educate me on the different tires that they had to offer. We picked out a great one with a nice warranty and rebate (no mail in, online). It's nice to know that Discount Tire is located in a lot of busy city area. I spent most of my time getting educated about the tires than the actual tires getting put on. While I was waiting, I was given a ball cap & grabbed a cold bottle of water. I was in and out in 30 minutes. A couple pointers: - they offer military discount - they price match - you don't have to make an appointment - Sean said go to the Suffolk location and ask for him. He's transferring lol! Overall, great customer service!

Snapped a lug nut stud upon installation of new tire and upon removal of TPMS sensor to replace hardware, something I did not request to be done but they chose to do, they sheared even more hardware. Paid $45 for new TPMS sensor. They sent me to another shop to replace lug nut stud on their dime, more time out of my schedule...

This Discount Tire is located at the intersection of General Booth Blvd. and Dam Neck Rd. You can enter the business heading eastbound on Dam Neck Rd. or heading northbound along General Booth Blvd. The building and signs are highly visible from the road. My first visit here was on November 15, 2018. The reason for coming in was due to the TPMS light coming on for the car the evening before, meaning there was an issue with a tire somewhere. The place is pretty close to home so the travel there wasn't long at all. I went into the bay for their free air and tire pressure checks. After they did the check, sure enough, one of the tires was punctured. Since the tire was repairable, it was actually no cost to have it fixed there. One thing they told me afterwards is that one of my tires already had a tread depth of 4/32 and recommended replacing the tires soon. I guess my tires were getting tired already. I declined at the time as I hadn't had any other issues. In the end, this was a great first experience here, and would come back in the future to get new tires. After getting my car's oil change and tire rotation completed at my local dealership (free), they made a note as well about the tires should be looked at being replaced. I talked to them about it, but of course, the cost is much higher there and also brought up the issue that the tires are rated for 55,000 miles, yet I only had 25,000 miles on the car at the time. They offered to cover 30% of the cost to replace them, but the cost is still much higher than what I could get at Discount Tire. A week or so later, I was back at Discount Tire to start the process of looking at tires for my car, as well as my mom's car. I figured it would be best to get both done at the same time since both cars needed new tires. My initial visit for this was on April 13, 2019, but didn't commit yet as I was checking several places. Nicholas Sparrow was the one that I talked to then, who is also one of the store managers. About a week later, after searching for tires and checking different tire stores out, I went and ordered the tires for my car. After searching online beforehand, I found them cheaper by about $35 per tire. They will match tire prices, even online ones. The sales process as a whole was easy and no pressure. Two days after that, the tires were in and was time to have the tires put on the cars. Nicholas made the entire process very easy and hassle free. It was a great time to get them too between different rebates that ultimately added up to $120. Overall, this was an excellent experience for both incidents that brought me here. With the purchase of the tires, tire rotation and balances are included for the life of the tires, as well free air checks. Nicholas was great to work with and also had a great experience with the assistant manager Richard Weimer when the car was ready to be taken back. One thing I do want to note is that they do not do alignments at Discount Tire. In the end, if you are in the market for new tires, be sure to check out their website, check pricing elsewhere, and then come in with proof of the best price so they can match it when you get your tires here. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely satisfied with the service here. Extremely professional, friendly and helpful both on the phone and the second I walked into the front door. Facility is very clean and comfortable. Firestone wanted to charge for patch and rotation with a time estimate of 1 hour. Discount Tire gladly did both free of charge in under 25 minutes. They also offer military discount. Strongly suggest, and will certainly be returning with all of my vehicles for future services.

This morning on my way to work I hit one of our oh so lovely ever present potholes. Immediately I heard the dreaded sound of air escaping my tire and when I did check I foubd my rim was damaged. I did several local searches and a few phone calls and was not too happy with prices nor availability. Someone mentioned Discount Tire and sure enough it was a good choice. They held the replacement rim for me until I got there. The price was only beaten online by Amazon which I did not have the time to wait for. I actually ended up replacing 2 rims and buying 2 new tires as well. This was not an upsell but something I decided to do. The entire thing from the moment I sat down only took about 20 minutes. I was quite happy with the service, the price and the staff and will definitely be going there in the future.

The warranty is nationwide and includes rotation, balancing, flat tire, and Happy team to interact with. As I observe all the bays and their technicians I couldn’t help but see how happy and engaged they were with each other which I know as a leader that Happy employees always produce quality work over all. They truly stand by their vision that revolves around “Integrity”. As I write this very review leaden is cleaning my other tires making them presentable. I’m truly blown away by their professional appearance and work habits. If you are looking for that old school care and family based feel this is the place. Even the coffe was outstanding. Keep it up Discount Tires team (Dam Neck, VB) you are truly pioneers of a change for good. From the looks of it a can come here and get inspired to do anything watching this business model in work. So growing up in Michigan, I bought almost all my tires at Discount. So I was pretty excited about one opening up near me. I needed to buy new tires for my truck. I priced them out. They had the best prices. I dropped off my truck. When I came back. My truck was still in the bay. I noticed two guys underneath my truck trying to put the spare on. Then I noticed multiple spare tire handles laying on the floor. Then I noticed them wrenching it and looking like it was de-threaded when wrenching it. Fifteen minutes later, one of the kids asks me if there was a spare tire handle in the truck. I said yes. Showed him where it was. Then fifteen minutes later, he comes back and tries to tell me the spare tire apparatus is rusted and won't work (even though it worked fine two weeks ago). So I go inside, tell the sales guy that I think he broke my spare tire mount. The kid come in, says my truck is ready. I leave. Then ten minutes later, I get a call. The manager says to take it to a shop to get looked at. Meanwhile, I am driving home and my hood is flapping. The kid when putting back my spare tire handle, didn't shut my hood completely. So two days later. Take it to the shop. The shop said they destroyed the spare tire mounts thread. Then the next weekend, I am driving on the highway, and I notice that it's vibrating at higher speeds. Basically anything over 60. So again, I needed to take my truck back in. All my tires needed rebalanced. Sadly. I'm happy with the tires. Not happy with the quality of service. Manager was nice. But the kid who messed all this up really needs to be trained up.

Professional, curteous, solid work, and quickly... Not sure what else there is to cover... I ordered a tire online to replace a damaged one, and it came in 5 days earlier than anticipated, whereupon I got a call to reschedule my appointment and was out of there in about 30 min... After being let down by a tire shop at home I was forced to find tires while on vacation. The staff at Discount Tire were professional, well dressed and not pushy. They had tires in stock and allowed me to make the decision about which tire and price point I was interested in and were respectful of the fact that I was not interested in the additional warrrenty they offer . They had me in and out in an hour and even gave me a free hat! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Excellent service and prices. Beat everyone in town. Ryan helped me out, somehow the internet made my appointment at their Holland location, but he got me in, 'tired' and down the road in no time. Definitely recommend. Only thing that could improve this place is offering alignments. But outside that, perfect!

Just had a great experience at this store. Picked up a screw on my travels from Pa. and they repaired and made sure I was safe to travel back. With a smile from the tech I heard No Charge...have a great day! Are you kidding me was my response. I'm still shocked how thorough the tech was and even checked all four tires. They just got themselves a new costumer when we need tires!
